Viva La Mexico 🇲🇽 amazing taste.

If you don’t speak Spanish, I don’t recommend you to come. They don’t speak English and don’t understand what you are asking and you don’t get any service other than they brought food to the table. It’s hot inside. Food is ok.

If I’m not in Mexico this is my favorite place in the states for street tacos and guacamole Can’t wait to come in for breakfast Their fajitas look amazing as well Authentic Mexican food

The menu was not the actually pricing. Then she pulls out a calculator and starts adding adding all these math equations and my food went from the menu $12.59 for 3 tacos and some beans and lemon water was $6 to 41.70 she said she priced it wrong and the drinks were $9 dollars

Fantastic and authentic. Of course their tacos and gorditas are great but I highly recommend giving their soups a try especially the Mole de Olla.

Absolutely fantastic food. They not only made my top food list once, but twice in just one late night delivery order. The Quessabirria Combo was a wonderful experience and the beef was cooked to absolute perfection and came with an array of delicious sauces and dips. That alone made my week, but then I tasted the most perfectly handmade tortilla chips I've ever had in my life. My entire family was thrilled with the white cheese dip and chips and were fighting over the crumbs. Will order again and again.

Love this place, my go to for tacos. Even got my daughters birthday party catered and we ran out in a flash. Red sauce is my favorite. Super spicy but great flavor.

Small place , no frills. Like a sub shop. 8 booths.Located on Drew Street in small plaza. Owner very friendly and helpful with explaining menu items. I ordered chicken burrito and took half home. My companion ordered tacos. We both agreed meal was delicious. Best meaty burrito I've ever had.

I am from Monterrey N. L. Mexico and I can tell you that this tastes like Mexico. We ordered some gorditas and some shepherd's sopes, tongue and asada. Delicious!! They have fresh waters, I ordered horchata. Even though they had people, they served us quickly.

We found our go-to Mexican restaurant! The food was delicious & fresh. The atmosphere relaxed & the staff was friendly & welcoming....

The food was excellent and our server was not only professional she was also very funny. Had the tacos and they were great and the horchata was also really good. The only quibble I have is the prices are a little high but that seems to be everywhere these days.

I had the Sopes and a hibiscus Agua Fresca. It was lovely. I will be back.

Home made tortillas the bestttt! Hands down best tacos in Clearwater. Dont need to go to Tampa great street tacos in Pinellas county. Must try both the green and red sauce on the tables

Hoy visite este restauran pequeño,el servicio muy malo tardaron para tomar la orden después pedi unos tacos extras y no me los servieron, solo hay una mesera y no atendia como tenía que ser varios clientes en ese momento tambien era incómodo por que ellos también necesitaban el servicio y eran muy tardados y unos clientes decidieron mejor retirarse del lugar, espero que esto sirva para que los dueños pongan mas perso al a atender las mesas, en la cocina tambien porque solo vi dos señoras, en la cocina y el joven que les ayuda ahy pero si les hace falta mas personal

My turn. Carne Asada is dry and flavorless. Within the order of six street tacos three of the tortillas were cooked and three were raw. I promise we didn’t order them that way. Now it’s time for the sauces which had plenty of heat but zero flavor. Portions were ok but if you order the chips and salsa you had better stop at Publix on your way home to buy more salsa. Now this part is for those who will say this review was written by an angry Gringo. You’re damn right because I expect the food to live up to the hype. You’d be better off at Tijuana Flats or Taco Bell.

I order this place on uber at least once a week. Tacos are amazing!!!!! The sauce is soooo soon good. One thing I will say is this place can or has been inconsistent with my same exact order I get every week. Sometimes tortillas aren't cooked sometimes they are. The sauce spiciness changes with red sauce but none the less it's always very good. I will order 7 tacos and only receive two small sauces which sucks with how much I'm spending along with cilantro and onions so i end up ordering extras.. sometimes I'll get alot sometimes I barely get any. Started ordering it on the side and it's been perfect everytime I do so. I will and do recommend this place over any other taco place in our area!!!!

There was 5 of us dining in and they for got one of the orders brought everyone’s order out and when we brought it to there attention they have not got all the food for our tables took them another 20 minutes to get my friends food to him so he took it to go slowest place ever

Food was just ok. Ordered agua de Jamaica it was good. Quesadilla was a good portion but again just ok. very small amount of guacamole is served with the guac and chips

Me da tristeza publicar esto porque soy Mexicano y son mis paisanos pero es la primera vez que voy a un restaurante si se le puede llamar asi y salgo mas desepcionado por no decir otra palabra , me sirvieron una salsa helada para comermela de entremes con unos totopos tiesos cuando una salsa se sirve calientita , unas tortillas calentadas en microondas horribles , una mojara que parecía un charal ansestral porque parecía mas momia que pescado , los baños sin jabon y pagar tan caro , que eso es lo de menos cuando uno se va satisfecho por eso es que este lugar esta al abandono por su pesimo servicio , mi consejo a los dueños sierren ese lugar dan pena y mala imagen de la comida mexicana .

Delicious tacos with a bunch of choices. They used 2 soft corn tortillas, and nice slices of lime. One hot sauce was too much for this gringa, but the light green sauce was yummy and just right. I had them to go, but next time I think I'll eat there!

AMAZING!!! Food is absolutely authentic and fresh. Kitchen impeccable clean. I live 20 minutes away but had business up up so decided to try it. I will now happily drive here don't let the plain exterior concern you. Totally worth a try. The tortillas are made in house.

Perfect hole in the wall. The entire menu is in Spanish so you know it's good, and it's fair priced.

We came in for our office lunch, 5 people. The service took a while. But we did have a big order, so we were patient. The food was definitely worth the wait. It was fresh and hot when we got to eat it 20min later. The green sauce was especially spicy on this day for some reason. Hopefully it was just an error and isn't a new recipient because we all loved the sauce prior to this. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that our 5 meals cost over $110 after tax and tip (yes. You should tip for carryout-especially with a large order. If you don't, shame on you)

Great tacos, chicken and carnitas are my favorite. Sauces are great with a mild green and hot red. Ground beef was a little dry though.

We coming this place often friends and family we just try to help small businesses that just till today we get there order a beer was warm it take so long for us to get served one meal at the time people call in advantage get serve first no napkins not silverware this experience was no worth my money or my time so he loose a few customers today

This is a sad sad day 😞 … I FINALLY found a place 3 days before moving with unbelievably delicious 🌮 🌮 with asada/quesaberia and El Pastor. All are amongst the very best I’ve had in 20 years outside of our family favorite in the Chicagoland. If you find yourself in Clearwater this place to a someone with a very particular taste pallet, is absolutely amazing. It’s a MUST TRY! Plus the owner Jose is extremely friendly without being too much. The service was great the speed of the food and how fresh it is, yeah this place is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!

Finally found some authentic Mexican in Florida. Staff was great! We will go back. A lot of food and good price.

We have been in search of good, authentic Mexican food since living in Florida. Pleasant surprise to find Viva Tacos after a Google search and wanting to continue our quest. I had their chicken burrito and my husband the beef enchiladas with green sauce (a little spicy but really good flavor). I had a question about the soup the man next to us was eating and the waiter (presumably the owner) brought me some to try. 😊 Delicious soup on a chilly day! They have a pretty basic menu but they explained they have specials on their menu that change weekly. We'll go back to try a special sometime.

Ordered a steak burrito and 4 steak tocos for my son and me and it was amazing! Loved the seasonings in the food, loved how fresh it all was and loved the prices of everything. So, so good! We will be back, again!

Estábamos de viaje,Acudí al lugar por las buenas referencias que tiene aquí.. pero al llegar al lugar la comida tardo demasiado, la persona que nos atendió de muy mala gana.. El agua de horchata tenia muy mal sabor,PÉSIMO servicio no volveremos aquí…

The best Mexican tacos in Clearwater! I moved from Austin TX recently and after trying many other mexican restaurants, I can say this one is definitely the best overall. First, they have the best salsas in all of Clearwater, super tasty and right amount of heat. Their mexican tacos (street tacos) are legit. Pastor and carnitas are legit but carne molida (ground beef) is so unexpectedly tasty. They also serve other more traditional mexican plates (mexican guisados) Also their aguas (flavored water) are all made in-house and they are just right, not too sweet and traditional mexican flavors like horchata and lemonade and jamaica. Customer service is always friendly too! Recently changed name from "Viva Mexico Taqueria" to "Viva Tacos! Mexican Restaurant" I like the name better and it is all the same tasty food and friendly service.

Viva Mexico is a pretty unassuming place sitting in a rather shabby strip mall with an interior that defines modest. This isn't the kind of place you go to for the atmosphere because there isn't any. No, Viva Mexico's charms are all on the plate and the value for money you get for it. The chicken enchiladas with rice & beans were $10.99 for a massive amount of food I couldn't finish. 12oz Mexican beers are only $3 or $13.75 for a bucket of 5. There's a wide variety of the typical taqueria fare including Al Pastor that looked promising. There's plenty to explore to eat...just don't have high expectations for the surroundings you're eating in. Concentrate on the food. That's where the value lies.

Very unassuming in appearance as it's located in a simple and small strip mall but don't let this stop you from coming in. The food is amazing, the place is clean, the staff are friendly and the food is... did I say amazing already? Yep!!!

My local taqueria does it right. (Pictured are three chicken tacos and a cerveza. *Drink responsibly). I recently moved from the WeSt Coast to the East Coast, and had a serious craving for some street tacos, and I’m not talking about your run of the mill hard-shelled, ground beef, basic cheese disappointment. I wanted some marinated shredded meats topped with cilantro and onion, and some fire salsa. And just before I gave up all hope, I found Viva Mexico. Don’t settle for less.

Stop here since I was hungry for some Mexican food. Have to say all the reviews were spot on. Very tasty. Especially like the 3 different salsas. Will definitely come back
