I recently dined at this restaurant, and it was fantastic! The chicken shawarma was tender and flavorful, the tabouli was fresh and vibrant, and the hummus was creamy and delicious. Special thanks to our server, Jika, for the excellent service. Highly recommend!

The food was good, nice sized portions, friendly waitress, and fresh pita!

Late night takeout and they were 30 Mins away from closing. The guys made fresh bread for chicken shawarma and the fatoush salad was absolutely phenomenal. Perfect acidity and medley. They went above and beyond and not short cut towards the end of the day, with bonus fries ! Definitely coming next time. Hookah smell does overpower soon as you walk in.

We ordered two pizzas for takeout, the chicken shawarma and the steak and cheese. Crusts were soggy, cheese was overwhelming, other ingredients were non-existent. I can eat almost any pizza regardless of quality but this one we consumed maybe a third and then just gave up. I don't know how their other food is but just based on this experience we won't give it another try.

Like the place and the shish, very tight place and hard to have a conversation due to echo, but it's recommended for their Shishas

Thank you to the management of the restaurant. I cooked for a year in my home country and returned today. The name has changed, but the treatment has not changed. I wouldnt recommend it, this place used to be good, now I dont know what happend, the food had no taste, they served us a raw pizza, we returned it , then they gave us a burned one, in purpose ! And the food took exactly an hour to arrive! I would never come back again. I Tipped the waitress because she was nice and appologized for the delay. But the kitchen is terrible!

DO NOT GO HERE! I went here expecting great food, as I was told by others it was great here. The service at the restaurant was pretty good and the waitress was very kind. It took a while for all the food to come, and when it did, all the meat was burnt. Since the meat was burnt, I decided to send it back so the meat was normal, but it was burnt again. The fries that also came with the meal were soggy, mushy, and overall looked like they were old. This place wasn’t a good experience at all and I would never dine here again.

I came to this place thinking it would be nice, I ordered a cheeseburger but it was completely burnt. The chicken wings were not good too and were very very dry. They also gave me old fries which were really soggy and nasty. I requested another cheeseburger to go because I didn’t want to stay any longer and ended up getting another burnt cheeseburger that I didn’t end up eating and still paid for it. The chef didn’t even make an apology for us and gave us weird looks when I was waiting for my second cheeseburger. The female waitress how ever, was extremely kind and made the atmosphere nice. However, she isn’t super experienced since she was new to the job. This place should get shut down as it has terrible chefs.

I would give it negative stars if I could, anyway my family and I went there for lunch. I ordered the mix grille , the fries were old mushy ,the meat & the chicken were burnt.my kids ordered cheese burgers, they gave us charcoal burgers instead.the falafel sandwich taste like anything but falafel.the food came separately however the waitress was very welcoming & kind.the chef should have came and apologize but it seems that they don’t know how.i’m so sad to say that but I’ll rather eat non halal food than go there

Scam!! Really UPSET ABOUT THE SHADY THING THAT THE SERVER DID. This place is a hit or miss their food is ok but hookah is usually bad. my experience was far from satisfactory. The hidden costs left a bad taste in my mouth. I ordered a shisha for $21, I noticed i was charged $33 in cc statement. No wonder why the guy rushed away once he charged my card. I asked for my receipt he made excuses to not give it. The service was adequate, but nothing extraordinary to warrant the exorbitant service fees they charged. I was shocked to see an unexpected service fee that significantly inflated the total amount. There was no mention of how much this fee is or even there is a fee. It felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic, where they lure you in with seemingly reasonable prices only to hit you with hidden charges at the end. These businesses are just taking advantage of their customers, we don’t have to pay your employees salaries.

This place is an amazing little spot. We've been going here since it was called Tarbouch and have never had a disappointing meal here. The service is slow sometimes, but the food is always excellent and the servers are nice. Not into hookah but they have a smoking and non-smoking section, and the non-smoking section is totally seperate. I highly recommend the Chai karak, labneh, and the hummus!

Their service is slow. If they see you as an Arab, they raise the price for you, especially the Gulf one. Each employee gives you a price in different ways. The shisha tells you 28, but in reality they charge you more than 40. I recommend going to Sir Sandwich Cafe Arham

Ramadan Iftar was really really bad and over priced! Food is a mix of low quality meals and some leftovers. The worst part when they charge you extra for a bottle of water after you pay $35 for the Iftar meal!

Our favorite Lebanese place! I'm proud to bring my friends and family here because their good food and friendly service makes me look like a hero! The staff is extremely kind and make it ever more worth the long drive to see them. We have been going in and out of this establishment for over 10 years. I expect that to continue!

The steak and cheese I ordered cost me 21$ with a drink. There was less than a quarter pound of meat in it and it was mostly onions and cheese. I'm disappointed, I thought it was going to be good. My mouth tastes like pure onions. No chance to complain to them at the moment because I was on a 30min break.

I’m an uber eats driver - the one time i came here to pick up an order, the man preparing the order told me it would take another 10 minutes. I was annoyed because it was supposed to be ready by the time I arrived (the place wasn’t even busy), but I decided to wait because it was a high paying order. Long story short, I waited for an hour. Staff kept telling me “It’ll only be 10 more minutes”. By the time it wasn’t worth me staying, I’d already sunk 40 minutes into waiting. Cherry on top was that the man actually preparing the order didn’t even give me the time of day - just kept glaring at me. Absolutely horrible experience. If I’d known the order would take another hour, I would’ve cancelled it and saved myself the wasted hour. Instead they had to keep stringing me along. I hope they learned from my experience and are more honest with their delivery drivers now, but I definitely did not get the impression that the chef man even thought he was in the wrong. Ridiculous.

We ordered falafel and chicken shawerma with fries here, and the fries came out cold and stale, as if they had been sitting there for hours or had been taken from someone else’s plate and added back to ours. The service was slow and I was honestly surprised by how long we had to wait to order food. Please hire more waiters and have a better system so that the waiters you do have aren’t going to the same tables asking what people would like to order.

Waitress took our order for dessert but came back 5 minutes later to inform us they don’t have it anymore. Upon asking why she said ‘I don’t know’ asked her for water and she dumped a pitcher on the table and left. Plastic water cups were chipped in the stem. Do health inspectors not check this? Asked for the check and didn’t want to leave any ‘tip’ because there was zero service but left minimum but they didn’t deserve even that.i think they are in business only because of their hookah lounge

Good hookah, very good food, outdoor seating in the parking in summer. Fast service. As of 2021 they are very very over priced. And the quality of food has declined, but it is still good (not as good as before though) Update 2023: They are now waaay over priced even more than 2021, also portion of food are now smaller for same orders.

Listen, I've been here multiple times and it's an experience. Our first time they were out of so many things I asked for when I asked for a milkshake the waiter drove somewhere to pick it up for me. If I'm honest, the only reason we go is because they have Pan hookah which is a little harder to come by and its affordable. But everything else I would say it is definitely a place to lower your expectations. Are they going to be out of most things on the menu? Yes. Are you going to ask the servers multiple times for the same thing? Yes. Are the chairs and booths going to be dirty ans stained with ash marks? Yes. Will they bring/offer water without you asking? No. Is there anything particularly nice about this place? Absolutely not. It's okay, meh... if you're looking for a just alright place to chill, affordable, mediocre food and service and some good Pan yeah why not.

My favorite hookah spot in the DMV area. I come here whenever I am in town. The hookahs are great. The food is great especially the shawarma, and the manakeesh. My favorite food item is the mlookhiyeh. It’s such a comforting dish and they do it well.

I had the beef shawarma and the fattoush salad they were both delicious! Definitely my two favorite options in the menu. I also tried the falafel hummus lots of food on the plate! Good service and a nice atmosphere. The partial indoor/outdoor seating has eating and/for hooka options just a heads up! But overall I nice vibe.

I don’t recommend this place at all, i used to go there eat everytime. I went today and no one help us to sit so me and my friend found our table by ourselves and we sat. Very disappointed with the food. Had 3 appetizers and they were cold and very small portions. The maanik were sweet and sour- but not in a good way. They were cold! The sujok were also cold. And They only brought 4 pieces of bread. The hookah was just ok. Will not be back again. If the owner is reading this, you know nothing about running a business. You won't have repeat customers if you don't improve.

Incredibly distressing experience today. This is a negative pattern of behavior every time with the heavyset Tunisian guy with glasses. When we visit DC around once a month, we usually stop by here at Tarbouch because it's the only place we can enjoy nice Arab food. The other female waiters serve us very well every time. But when this heavyset Tunisian guy with glasses serves our table, it's usually a bad experience. Last time he served us, he didn't give us napkins, utensils, or hot sauce even though we asked and were waiting a while. The food didn't even come all at once, so we were waiting for each dish to come out one at a time. Today, we had a girl as our server and took our order and brought our food. But upon checkout, this guy is the one who handled the payment. We tried to tip her but he cancelled the tip and left abruptly without giving us a receipt. We had to track him down (for a receipt) because he immediately went to the back kitchen area so when we requested the manager, then he showed up. So we tipped the girl who served us with cash. The reason we asked for the receipt is because the last time we went there, he added 2 bottled waters to our charge even though we didn't order it. We thought it was an accident that time so we didn't make it an issue. But we wanted the receipt this time just in case to check. So when he finally came with the receipt, he had added 2 bottled waters again so it seems last time it wasn't an accident and he did so intentionally!! We asked him why he added this and he said the girl who took our order is the one who did it. But she said she didn't, he did! This is highly unprofessional! The owner should really be aware of this heavyset Tunisian guy with glasses, and as a customer you should be aware of what he's charging on the receipt. The 2 bottled waters he charges went into his pocket because they "go by the table" rather than who actually served us.

So funny story is this is a hookah bar and a really good late-night Middle Eastern cuisine spot on the highway. There is a 24-hour CVS across the street, where I get my prescriptions sometimes after work. I sort of stumbled upon this place while waiting for my prescription. I stepped into this place with this amazing bizarre Cafe and immediately I thought I was transcended into a Middle Eastern country. I was the only woman in this place as well as the only white person but that's okay cuz when I'm hungry I tend to just go for what I want. I ordered the fries and quite honestly these were the best fries I had in my life the owner gave me this side of curry sauce, Chipotle . I am not sure what it is but it's delicious are they coming back for these fries ever since. Even more impressive is the amazing murals on the wall which is by a local artist having pictures of Jack Nicholson and Salvador Dali was really captivating. I also had tried one of their middle eastern tapas including eggplant and okra. Very tasty. Staff members are very nice and friendly and despite their circumstances I'd felt comfortable in there. Definitely try this place for hookah you're into that sort of thing haha I'm not. But moreover for the food and beyond beyond and let's be honest where else can you get food after 11 pm weekdays in Arlington?
