Okay… so I know it’s taste of Fredericksburg. HOWEVER, my girlfriends and I traveled to Manassas for an amazing food experience today. If you haven’t been to Taste Of Old Country, please go ASAP. It’s been there for 4 years and the service, food, and ambiance is top notch. The owner served us the entire time and did a phenomenal job. This is a restaurant you will want to take your time to enjoy every sip, taste, and smell of the deliciousness they have to offer. We came by this hidden gem at off hours and the ambience felt nice! Food was great for the price as well!

We arrived to an inauspicious entrance. We were greeted by the owner and cook. Beautiful old country played in the background. The meals were delicious and brought to us quickly. We will return.

Great atmosphere and service, really good foid

Reasonably good food, reasonably priced, but the service style doesn't match. The server came across as stiff and pretentious, and the menu reads as fine dining but the food is upscale casual.

We got two wine flights for and they were all exceptional!!! The oil, vinigar & dip sampler is a must! Atmosphere, service and food was truly superb!!! Very relaxing and yummy! A perfect "getaway", yet not too far away.

The restaurant is located not too far from the Hollin Farm that’s where we went perch picking. It’s a cute restaurant with good amount of wine selections. The food was good but a little dry. Some of the people were looking at us since we were the only people of color with a baby. When the people next to us moved, it got better. We were able to comfortably eat and talk.

Didn’t know what to expect, went based on reviews. Glad we did because it was great! The per person was a bit more for us as we had 2 appetizers, and 3 coffees on top of the regular drinks (we didn’t have wine this round). But on all accounts great! Would recommend.

My fiancé and I ate here for the first time this weekend with some of our friends before a concert, and we had the best time! The food was absolutely amazing, and we loved the atmosphere. We all said we felt like we were at a restaurant somewhere in Greece or Spain! Also, the service was phenomenal. Elias (the owner and our server) was so kind, attentive, and helpful. I actually ended up leaving my credit card and ID there by accident. Elias reached out to me and saved them for me so that I could pick them up the next day. We highly recommend this restaurant, and we will be back next time we are in the area!!

I’ve been back multiple times and find myself craving the flavors and freshness of the Greek salad. All the food is delicious and the oils and vinegars are top notch. A hidden gem in Manassas!!

Amazing food and service. Everything was seasoned perfectly and taste was so good. Desserts with varied vinegar sauces were delish!

This establishment was a most exquisite find! We were waited on personally by the owner. He explained the menu to us in detail, stating that each dish was made-to-order. We enjoyed the meatballs as an appetizer. I’d highly recommend the Greek salad, which boasted extra-juicy tomatoes. I savored my Gyro panini. I asked for a side of balsamic vinaigrette, which added an extra flavor of flavor to the panini. Be sure to stay for dessert. The cakes here are killer! The only thing I didn’t particularly care for here was the tzatziki sauce. The sauce needed to be less thick with some cucumber, dill, and onion added. Everything else here was over-the-top. All of our food was beautifully presented. Needless to say, my Greek friend enjoyed dining here wishing this restaurant was closer to his home.

This place was absolutely delicious. The owner was so nice and provided some samples of olive oil I was interested in trying. The food was delicious with a ton of variety and customer was outstanding. I will definitely go back soon.

Sometimes you get surprised by a phenomenal find and this was one of those occasions. We stopped for a quick business lunch and instead had a meal that we all savored and lingered over. We enjoyed meeting the owner, trying a bit of everything, and taking it all in. I would recommend this restaurant highly and give yourself time to enjoy it. From start to finish it exceeded our expectations.

Update for 2024, this place has only gotten better, check it out asap!!! 5 stars! I was sent here on a recommendation from a friend and was soooo impressed! The food was excellent! The service was golden! Today I carried out and brought my food home, it traveled extremely well, but I definitely would like to stay and have the full experience next time. Run, do not walk, to this place! I recommend the Greek platter!! Xo

Such an awesome discovery after visiting the Manassas National Battlefield Park. Delicious food and great atmosphere. Whenever driving I-66 across Virginia, I will keep this place in mind.

If I could I would give more stars. The restaurant itself is gorgeously decorated. The atmosphere is cozy and has ample of seating. We had a group of 18 moms that showed up to a Moms group event and the restaurant was able to accommodate a large group. They made sure everyone had their drinks and food. We were able to meet the owner and chef who made all the delicious food. My favorite was the meat balls and stuffed grape leaves. But my absolute favorite was the baklava dessert. The menu was simple and easy to pick from with affordable pricing. I would highly recommend and will be back to enjoy with my family. Thank you for making our mom group experience so great.

Great Greek panini. Good service. Not crowded for lunch.

What a hidden gem!! You might have a hard time spotting this place. It is in a strip center like you would find small offices or a nail salon... Not well signed, But if you find it, it is worth the search. The food was excellent. I had the meat lovers pizza. It was good quality. The staff was nice and the decor, how be it quant was very thorough out and tasteful. I would definitely come back.

Held my wife’s 50th bday party at this place and it was fantastic! Elias was an amazing host- extremely helpful with making the event perfect. Food was unbelievable and no one left hungry. Everyone raved about the food and service for days after the event. Love that it is like a little oasis in the middle of nowhere- you have to find this place- but the trip is absolutely worth it. We will be back for sure. Thanks to Elias and his team there for making our event special!

Awesome little spot. The service is amazing. There were so many olive oils to choose from, the garlic one is fantastic. Their spicy feta was my favorite item, but the whole charcuterie spread was impressive. We had a great time and everything was delicious. We will definitely be coming back.

A wonderful, little hidden gem in Manassas! The Valentines menu was quite the surprise. The small plate arrangement was delicious and sizeable. The owner/ manager explained the whole experience as each course arrived.

Perfect little place for dinner and wine! The Greek Sampler, the mini cheese pies with the lemon hummus, the meat pizza, Moscato, the sour cherry soda.... all of it is phenomenal!! The tzaziki is light and full of flavor.... you won't need extra seasoning or salt or pepper. The salad at the next table is gorgeous as well as the caprese... I'll be ordering those next! I almost forgot the BEST thing we ate... the meatballs!! I'd be thrilled with a plate of these! So much flavor packed into the perfect bites!! The owner is very attentive and listens to your likes to suggest dishes. Thank you Elias!!

We had gotten some of their olive oils at an event at the Expo center and stopped by to try the restaurant. The food and wine were amazing and reminded of us of the actual food we got when we visited Greece.

The concept of taking your time and enjoying good company and DELICIOUS foods is sadly a lost tradition these days. This little nook deserves more than five stars. All the foods and wine we’ve tried taste authentic and of the highest quality.

I visited last night with a couple of girlfriends. We had a great time!! The owner is very passionate about the food and wine and took his time explaining everything to us. Every thing was delicious and we enjoyed the intimate atmosphere. Don’t be put off by the location- it’s easy to forget once you are inside!! :)

Hidden gem alert! Located in a nondescript business center, once you walk in you're transported to an adorable little bistro. The walls feature containers of flavored olive oils and balsamic vinegars along with some dried pastas and other assorted sundries. Our party of 7 all ordered one of the various paninis on the menu, and we were all pleased with our selections. I opted for their spicy feta on mine, and I have no regrets! We also sampled the lemon hummu and the stuffed grape leaves, which were both also delicious. The owner was also our server and couuldn't have been nicer. Cannot wait to return to this spot and try more menu items and maybe have a glass of one of their greek wines!

This review is for the online shop. I found this olive oil company at a Christmas Craft show a few years ago. We tasted their oils and vinegars and bought quite a few. They have been our go to olive oil and vinegar company ever since. This year it just so happened we needed oil and vinegar and the website was offering a discount code. Unfortunately the code didn’t work so I used the website on line chat feature. Well, Elias answered me right back, we couldn’t figure it out over chat and he asked me to call him the next day. I did we tried another option or two but still no luck. I called again and turns out Elias is the boss, he’s on the phone with me and taking orders and helping customers in the brick and mortar storefront! He helped me with my order and did not seem rushed, impatient or put out for having to help. This type of customer service is unusual and amazing! Elias, you e earned my lifelong business. Great job!

Everything was delicious and so fresh. The restaurant was spotless. The service amazing. We are visiting from out of state or this would be my new go to!

This place has 5 stars for a reason. In the times of fast food this place is a calm oasis with clean and fast food at a fair price. So good.

We were fortunate enough to spend some time here recently for a birthday get together. It was fantastic. The Greek food was so fresh and delicious. We got to sample a lot of different authentic foods and all were wonderful. Definitely want to go back soon!

If you like charcuterie. This is the place to go. I'm in Stafford, so it a little drive. But it's worth it. And don't forget the wine flight!!

Tucked away in a strip mall near the Manassas Battlefield, Taste of Old Country felt like a serious gem. The decor makes use of elevated mirrors and plants, with a mix of small tables and bar seating. The owner-bartender made a point to help everyone feel welcome. He recommended the gyro panini, but I would love to come back and try the others. They are probably all delicious. I watched one of the charcuterie boards pass while I was there for dinner and it looked like a work of art - worth a stop!

This is an absolute gem. Service is impeccable, ownership is knowledgeable and so hospitable, and this little shop is adorable. Perfect for an intimate lunch with your closest friend or a date night. I loveeeeed the wine recommendations and am so glad we got the largest charcuterie board on offer. I will absolutely be back - so worth the drive.

I just held my husbands surprise birthday party here and WOW!! Elias, the owner made our whole experience fantastic!! The atmosphere was perfect! The service was over the top!! The wine and beer top notch and the food was on a whole other level!!! Elias, was very helpful and easy to work with. Making the menu very diverse for many different tastes and food preferences. We had meatballs, stuffed grape leaves, charcuterie boards, Greek and caprese salads, many different types of sandwiches, spanikopita, cheese triangles and the desserts were freaking delicious!!! If you want a very special dinner or catering or party experience go here!! Cal Elias!! Try it you won’t be disappointed!!

A well kept secret off the beaten path!! Paninis are very filling and the drinks were delicious. Atmosphere is quiet and quaint, and there’s a wide selection of olive oils and other Mediterranean products for sale. Can’t wait to go back!!

HIDDEN GEM!!! A little off the beaten path and in a strip mall, but once you walk inside you forgot where you are. Warm welcome by the owner, delicious wine, olive oil, balsamic, and cuisine. Enjoyed this little stop for an afternoon lunch with my coworker on our way to DC. I highly encourage others to experience this place and its offerings.

Fantastic new find. The only negative thing about this place is that we didn’t find it sooner. Elias (owner) is super friendly and the charcuterie boards are next level! We are already planning on when to get more and will definitely be back. Or maybe just have a lazy day and get some takeout. Try the stuffed grape leaves. Enjoyed a birthday dinner here with a preset menu of boards galore! Do not let the location fool you - this place is legit for quality wine and excellent food. Owner chef took excellent care of us and made the evening a real treat. We felt like we were back in Europe with each course. They cater and do private events as well so definitely consider this gem for whatever you have going on. Do not miss out on the orange cake.

The exterior of the establishment is understated, but you are nearly transported to Greece once the door closes; in atmosphere, cuisine, and community. …While this was our first visit, we will certainly be back and with friends!

This is a really great little place...Italian, Greek food with influence from Spain! Super curated wine tastings...and beers! Soft jazz/lounge music on the background. Make reservations!! Not for children.

Really amazing & surprising & more stars if I could - here’s why. The restaurant is located in a nondescript industrial park, but the moment you walk in, the picture changes. Tiny, quaint, picturesque - soothing music. The service is personalized and the food - ahh, the food!!! - is extraordinary! Incredibly fresh, delicious and well-priced!!! Met my friend for a memorable, enjoyable lunch, and definitely plan to return with my husband. Nice assortment of high-end beverages. The wine sampler is in my future!!

We stumbled across this place in a Google search. Looked interesting so we thought we would try it. We LOVED this place. Incredible food and a relaxed atmosphere. We were served by the owner and had the chance to just to chat. A really relaxing time. There are also a lot of great product on the wall as well. We ended up buying some great Greek wines, olive oil, and balsamic vinegars as well. It is off the beaten path, and you can miss it if you don't pay attention to the street numbers, but it is well worth the stop.

Panini, greek salad, grape leaf wrap appetizer were all amazing. Grabbed a bottle of thick balsamic vinegar on the way out. Once I tasted the vinegar in the salad, I couldn't leave without it. Will definitely return

We were letting google be our guide after an errand in Manassas and it took us to Old County. Initial impression was small and it only had one table occupied. But they had quite a selection of Olive oils and Vinegars lining the wall for sampling and the owner greeted with a friendly welcome, so why not. One of the best recent experiences I have had. We had Italian Panini and a sampling of oils with baguette. WoW! Panini was very flavorful and the variety of oils would fit any palette, you can choose your own flavors too. Beer and Wine helped wash it all down and the conversation with the owner was very hospitable. When it was all over we felt like we had just spent the afternoon a Bistro in a small village in Italy or Spain. It was a great escape! We will be back!!

Visited twice now and I literally tell everyone Iknow to visit this place (and now I'm finally remembering to write a review)! Unassuming exterior but nicely designed interior. Grab a table, place your order, and try some olive oil while you wait. I personally really liked the oil from Spain, but have not tried their flavored oils yet. For food, the first time I ordered dolmades and a classic panini. Second time had the spinach pies, another classic panini, and a mini dessert sampler. EVERYTHING is sooo good, I would legit eat here every day if I wasn't trying to save money 😅
