Best Thai restaurant in Michigan. I keep coming back. Love it!✌️

We loved it! Nice atmosphere, fast and friendly service, and lots of options for all types of eaters from young kids to grandma to a vegan. My eight year old says the pad Thai with chicken is his favorite.

Solid pad Thai in a nice environment. The flavor was a little bit mellow though and it was rather pricey.

The food, service and restaurant environment are all excellent and amazing.

Went for the first time yesterday. All three meals were fantastic. Service was first rate. Very cute inside.

Super friendly owner and lots of menu options. Our favorite Thai restaurant in the Lansing area for over a decade. They are next to Coral Gables, and have plenty of seating options if you need a group. It's easy to order vegetarian and gluten-free if desired. All of those options are clearly listed on the menu! Order online too. Enjoy!

(Update: we just visited again this week. So happy to report they are still wonderful! We all agreed it’s the best Thai restaurant we’ve been to…outside of Thailand itself!). Original review: This is our favorite restaurant in East Lansing (and that's saying something!) We have never had a bad meal here. This small eatery is the only place to go for Thai food. Our favorites are Pad Thai, Tamarind Chicken, and Pad Prik. It's hard to branch out from these, but whenever we have, we've not been disappointed. The mango chicken is great, too. Don't miss the crispy spring rolls. We always fight over who gets the last one. The crystal sauce is perfect. The heat is just right, and they even have a chop suey type dish for those who are fearful of Thai. (I have a friend who always orders this....but can't imagine why!) The food is so good, in December my daughter and son-in-law had Taste of Thai cater their wedding....the guests went crazy over how good the food was. You will love it!

I went to Taste of Thai for the first time upon recommendation from a friend for having gluten free options. I'm so glad I tried it out. The food was excellent! I had fresh rolls and the Taste of Thai noodle dish with chicken. The flavor of both dishes was fantastic. There was enough for me to take home and have a second meal for lunch. The service I received was great. The lady helped me pick out an entree. She was prompt and attentive. The atmosphere was inviting, and the tables are spaced far enough apart that it doesn't feel crowded. I will be back!

This place is amazing! The salad dressing that comes on the tiny salad before the meal is, by far, the BEST salad dressing I've ever had. I was going to ask if I could purchase some to take home, but felt weird doing so. 🤣 The lettuce wraps were also good, but not the star of the meal. I ordered the Pad See Ew with beef and it was phenomenal! The portions are huge! I've eaten it three times and still have some left over. (Note: I do have a smaller appetite, but still!) The restaurant was clean and service was prompt. I didn't get photos at the restaurant, but I've attached a photo of the generous leftovers.

One of our local favorites! The food is always fresh and full of flavor. Service can be hit or miss, but love and adore the older woman server! Get the Lettuce wraps and cheese rolls.

Phenomenal food! This was just what I needed today. They didn’t throw lines in the to go that I had asked for but also didn’t mention they didn’t have them. Very pricey but I will visit again.

I love this place. Dine in or take out your going to have your food QUICK. The fresh rolls (add chicken) and the peanut sauce is my absolute fav.

Sunday night and the place is filled with happy diners. Food is will prepared, attractively presented and served properly. If I lived closer, I'd be here all the time.

What a fantastic place! Over the past 1.5 years it has become my usual for Thai food. Their recently updated menu is awesome! Very authentic tasting, beautiful Thai food. Plenty of vegan options. Even great vegan sweet options.

Haven't eaten here much but a food was good

Recently, Taste of Thai announced that it will no longer accept customer requests to adjust spice levels. As far as I know, they now become one of the only Thai restaurants around to shun customer food requests. I tried their Pad Thai and now find it bland and uninteresting. Please join me in giving the restaurant feedback that their customer service is terrible and their food no longer the best Thai in the area.I'm boycotting until the old food comes back!

The owner is “brave enough” to price each dish at $20 before tax which you can get at Panda Express for more food and a lot less. This place is Only for seniors.

PEANUT ALLERGY INFO: I have been to Taste of Thai before and had an amazing experience, but today when I got an order to go sadly I got the Pad Thai NO Peanuts due to an allergy but when i got home it didn’t appear to have any peanuts on it, but when i started eating it I started having an allergic reaction. I called to let them know they need to be more careful thankfully i didn’t eat a lot and the lady on the phone was not sympathetic whatsoever and admitted to seeing my request and not double checking. I will not be returning sadly due to this situation. If you have a peanut allergy DO NOT go here.

Great atmosphere, service and the food was just phenomenal. The older woman which I believe is the owner was so attentive and great. I really needed something spicy since their spicy sauce to me wasn’t that hot. She really hooked it up and got me these peppers that were nice and spicy . Food was just on point and I have been to many Thai places and this was one of the better ones I have gone to.

Best Thai I have ever had in America

From out of town and just finished graduation at MSU. Saw they were open till 10 on google and on their door. Walked in the door at 9:30 to get take out and they said the kitchen was closed.

Can't believe I haven't reviewed before. Easily top three Thai in the area. Green curry, delicious. Pad kra paw, yum. Massaman curry, a little too sweet but amazing, especially with beef. Attentive service. Decent pricing.

Absolutely delicious! I've been eating pad thai regularly for over a decade and some places can for sure be hit or miss. If you're looking for authentic and great tasting pad Thai, this is the place. The noodles were perfect. Not soupy nor dry. The chicken was nice and soft. I asked for medium plus spice and they did it perfectly. Great experience with great staff. Will be back again!

Food was great! I ordered the green curry which is my go to dish, it had just enough heat without being too much (for me it can go from just right to too spiced really fast). I went during lunch and the portion was perfect, I was full but not overstuffed. Meal came with an egg roll, soup and salad as a starter. The salad could have had more cucumber and/or a different lettuce other than iceberg but it was still good. My total without tip came to $11.66, a very fair price, if not underpriced, for the quality of food. Service was fast and friendly. Restaurant is small but has a cozy feel, not too small to enjoy. I’ll be back here for sure!

I would recommend this place to everyone and anyone I could!!! I wouldn’t be surprised if they get a Michelin star soon enough. I’ve been in the culinary industry for a long time and I’ve had Thai from 20 different places. This place sets apart the quality from ALL the others. Each dish is amazingly flavorful. Every herb used in your dish is not over powered, extremely fresh and extremely pleasant to enjoy. The atmosphere was traditional which helped with the authenticity.

I've been a patron of this business since 2016 when stumbling on it being disinfranchiahed from home for insurance repairs. I was extremely happy to have found this great dinning restaurant and have always been pleased with my dinning experience as a person living with Celiac. They have since improved upon the menu with greater notation of GF highlighted. The Curry dishes are absolutely delicious and the soups so delectable. Price point is well online for this casual dining experience. Staff are friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this business

Had the most incredible lunch here that I had to come back for dinner. The shrimp rolls, fried fish cakes and fried whole fish were the best Ive ever tasted. Service was incredible and the pandan cake is DIVINE

The food was fresh and hot. The veggies were perfect. Nice and crunchy. I did not, however, care for the overabundance of pepper on my Pad Woonsen. The dish would have been perfect if not for too much pepper!

I'm just a delivery driver for delivery com but I have been hearing nothing but positive feed back about this restaurant. When I go pick up the food, the atmosphere inside is breathtaking. The employees themselves are so respectful. I will definitely eat here one day.

The staff were great and the atmosphere is lovely. The food was good, but missing some elements. The Crab Rangoon were small. The Pad Thai was spicy (its not supposed to be and we specifically asked for it not to be). The Pad See Ew was a bit peppery for me (black pepper it tasted like). The Panang Curry and the Pad Ke Mow were delicious. I would definitely give them another try!

Had a nice dinner recently. Fresh rolls and Tom kha were good for starters. Red/panang curry, pad thai peanut, and pad pak were also good. Spice levels varied but we were able to get hot sauce/powder brought to supplement. Service was good.

Love Taste of Thai! I can’t speak on much of the menu as I pretty much get Pad Thai every time, but man is their pad Thai good. The portions are great too! Yum yum yum.

The ambience is very nice !!! We ordered spring rolls, curry puff and crispy chicken for appetizers. Pad suki Haeng and red curry for entrees, all the dishes are good. Red curry has good flavors ( a little sweet ).

Small restaurant Big on Flavor, we had the pineapple fried rice and the peanut pad Thai. Both were Very Good, we will definitely be coming back.

By far, best Thai in the area!! I go regularly and have tasted almost everything on the menu. My favorite is the Pad Thai with no egg and no bean sprouts and tofu.

Good Thai place. Excellent and quick service even during busy time, it ran like a very well oiled machine and did not wait long at all for meal during Friday evening service. Food was very good. Decor & atmosphere very nice & pleasant. It did get loud at times where there was difficulty hearing the person even directly across the table from myself. All in all, I would go back. Still better than average.

Really good Thai food. Careful with some of the delivery services, as my order gets screwed up then. Edit: Today's order was over 20 minutes late. They seemed to be prioritizing the dining room over take out. Star changed.

We were able to seat a group of ten people at one table at lunchtime with no reservation, and the food was fantastic. They even have gluten free options, which is another reason we went. We were not disappointed. Just had to ask for it to be gluten free and they steamed the tofu for my dish instead of frying it. Great place.

Very good food. My favorite thing was the little salad that they brought us at the beginning. It was the most delicious thing I've had in awhile. They take the time to cut the vegetables in a fancy way.

I really enjoyed this place. If was in town for work for 8 nights. The first day I'd asked a random grad student who'd been there for undergrad as well for a Thai restaurant recommendation. She sent me here. I ended up eating there three nights out of eight. The staff all recognized us after the first visit and we felt welcomed. The food was great and with a 10% discount for cash, the prices seemed great too.

This very clean and calm restaurant delivers on authenticity and taste! Everything was absolutely delicious. All the flavors from the sweet and sour, to Tom Yum, spring rolls, and Won Ton Soup were perfect!

We were passing through the area on our way home from the Michigan Renaissance festival and wanted to meet some friends who lived nearby. They suggested Taste of Thai. It was fantastic. Delicious food, filling portions. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was great. If we lived closer, we would definitely be regular customers.

Visiting family in the area and Taste of Thai was within walking distance from where we stayed. Excellent dinner! Split a dinner with my wife and an appetizer was delicious and filling. Have already recommended it to others.

Really good food but young lady waitress said no charge to add protein to dish. When we got the bill $2 was added. So, $16 for a simple noodle dish for lunch. Place needs air conditioning.

Nice, quiet place to eat with very friendly waitstaff. This was our second time going and it was just as good as the first! I recommend the ragoons, chicken lettuce wraps and my husband loves the Pad Thai with peanuts.

wonderful thai food, whether you are a MSU student or are passing through town. the iced thai tea is very authentic, and is made the real way (as opposed to iced tea with coconut milk). the spicy noodle soup isn't very spicy, but it makes ones throat feel very warm, which was a wonderfully unique sensation. the AC here doesn't work very well, so be wary of that on a hot day.

Best Thai food I've had, having tried many places in Grand Rapids and Lansing area. I have been back several times and tried many items on the menu. My favorites are the Pad Pak and Mu Sa Mun curry, but the Yellow curry is amazing too. Their appetizers are all phenomenal as well!

This Is by far one of my most favorite places in Lansing. The soups are amazing it doesn't matter which one they are all good. The house soup is definitely one of my comfort foods and the staff has always been amazing and friendly.

On my way home from a business trip and stopped by. Almost did not go in (Only because I wasn't thinking about sitting down to eat) but I did and it was very nice inside and I was very happy that I tried it. The service was great. Food was awesome and looking around at other people's plates, they looked awesome as well. Great-tasting food! I will plan on stopping by again next time I drive through town. I had the green curry with chicken. With #4 heat added. So good if you like it hot 🔥!

The food was great but I wish the waitstaff would have explained the sauces and such. We were left guessing. At the *almost* end of our meal the person bussing tables ran off with my Thia iced tea. It wasn't empty and it was very expensive. I thought maybe she was getting me a to go cup but no such luck 🤨.
