My family and I usually go here to juat get ice cream. However, I have gotten the food before. Their ice cream is amazing, and you get a ton of it. When ordering, if you want a small amount, you have to choose a baby. The kids' size is pretty big. My favorite is a chocolate ice cream with raspberry syrup or the banana split. The food is also good, having tired the pulled pork and pork tenderloin. The hamburgers are also good, but you need to make sure to ask for the toppings. Otherwise, it comes plain. Tastee Treet is also right next to the trailhead to the Wabash Trace, so it is a good place to go to get food or ice cream before you start a ride or after you finish one. Also, a good stop on the taco ride. Parking is easy to get in and out of. It is a gravel lot, all level with a paved sidewalk. There is an outdoor and indoor order window with outside seating. Does not have a drive-through. I recommend stopping by if you are hungry and in the area. It is worth the drive.

I ordered over 80$ in food and ice cream. They gave me under cooked fried pickles, under cooked chicken sandwich, gave me a wrong sandwich, when they were making sandwichs there was no gloves worn jus bare hands. Was very disappointed! Then gave me wrong ice creams. Alot of the food was wasted. And no receipt was given.

Very poor.young kids don't get it's not a place to stand at the window talking with people and people are in line wanting ice cream. Finally got my grandson ice cream cone and it was melting all over before I got it and they didn't care and I asked for a bowl and I had to ask 3 times . and he drops it right after I got my cone and they seen it and just closed the window on us. I won't be back. Very poor service.. and gran and I gave him mine and he was ok back didn't understand why the ice cream place didn't help?sad he understands but 16 to 18 yr olds don't. We won't be back..poor business..

Great family place to get food and ice cream!

We were passing through the area and stopped here on a whim. I'm glad we did. All four of us ordered something different, and we were all pleased. This is s very fine ice cream shop.

I drive past this place on my way to work everyday and hadnt tried it until about 3 weeks ago. Now, I come here about 3 or 4 days a week. I'm probably gonna be a fat slob by the end of the year but it's all good! The food is great and the staff are very nice.

Delicious!!!! Hands down amazing food - I am absolutely shocked how good it is coming from a lil ice cream shop off the beaten path! The shop is an adorable little log cabin on the outside, it has a walk up window for ice cream orders, but if getting food you must order inside (even if sitting outside). The staff is mostly high schoolers when I've gone (not surprising being next to a highschool!) BUT they sure do hire some really great kids. They are kind, polite, and have great work ethic. The outdoor seating area is mainly 2 big picnic tables behind the building and has nice views facing the Wabash trail. Their Mac & cheese is ON POINT! I am usually keen on ordering wraps but others I've gone with swear by the 2 meat combo. Either way, whatever you fancy I guarantee you will be leaving with a full and happy tummy....and possibly leftovers!

This place was cute. Just small burger and ice cream join. Hand made patties. Yummy food. Tasty ice cream. Reasonable prices.

Very good food. Burgers are fresh and tasty. Cheapest meal you can find for the amount of food you get. This place has been here for decades. I remember it being a small take out inly place 40 years ago. Would go here after baseball practice all the time.

Finally tried this place, it's great! We got ice creams and malts, all very good. The staff were friendly, and the place itself is super cute. I especially love the landscaping. We'll be back soon!

My wife and I stopped in for dinner and a sweet treat. We both got chicken wraps, and we're pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. My wife got a chocolate shake and I got a chocolate malt, and we both enjoyed our selection.

The best ice cream in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area

It is a very homemade meal for those of us who like homemade seasoning, the girls who serve are very friendly.

I tried the "Pizza Burger," my taste buds where offended. It looks and tastes like they pulled it out of a freezer and microwaved it. I've heard good things about this place, yet I was very disappointed about this atrocity.

The shakes here are some of the best around, the burgers 🍔 are handmade and are very delicious

This has been the place to get ice cream for my entire life. :) Such great memories riding my bike with my mom and stopping here afterwards getting ice cream or a burger and fries. I really like the jalapeno cream cheese burger, and I really enjoy the Reeses and chocolate covered cherry candy malt. The staff are always really friendly, and the atmosphere in the building is always fun to look around and look at the hand drawn pictures and pepsi memorabilia.

It's simple stuff serve ice cream, but boy is it good. You won't find more bang for your buck at any shop in the metro area. Great place to grab a shake or five after going for a nice bike ride on the trace. This place was my favorite growing up and still is worth my own family.

BEST FOOD stop in Iowa! Hidden gem! Pulled pork, smoked brisket, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, malts, shakes, dole whips, sundays, ice cream, and low priced dinner packs with fixins. Go inside and sit down to eat. Lovely decor.

Good food, quick, affordable and right by a cool trail. I had been craving a burger so I didn't get the BBQ but will definitely not make that mistake next time.

I ate there Sunday after a 10-mile ride. The food was amazing. Best meal I have had in a long time. Buffalo chicken wrap was perfect. Pulled pork was off the chart, and the fries were the best.

Went for burgers on Saturday. The Big N Tasty was very good. Unfortunately, service was very slow. Facility was clean and the staff were all smiling

The cost to portion ratio is superb. A small milkshake is like ordering a med-large from other ice cream shops. Their food is pretty great too. Always busy with customers always as speedy as they can be to serve. I've never had a bad experience with them and I always leave having had more ice cream than I needed in my belly.

My husband found this place & we went out for lunch on my birthday. What a hidden gem. The food is amazing. I had a pizza burger w/fries. Caramel sundae for dessert. We will definitely be back again & again.

The north end of CB has Cristy Creme, the south side has Tastee Treat, the war of "Who does it better?" wages in. All I have to say is BBQ. That's what Tastee Treat brings! 😄

There food and ice cream are great and price very reasonable but the only problem is that they are close for the seasons But worth the wait

Always great. I'm a big fan of ice cream and they sure have some of the best around. Always just get vanilla. Simple me haha. But delicious. Very nice people. I stop when I'm in the area. But have driven from west Omaha just a couple times to satisfy a craving 😅

Stopped at Tastee Treat in Council Bluffs Iowa good food cheap prices and they have Dole Whip Ice Cream its Dairy Free, Sugar Free, Low Calories, Vegan, Lactose Free, and taste Delicious alot of flavors if you haven't been there you have to go♥️ small family owned business...working our way through the menu.
