Wonderful flavors and elegant meals. Beautiful building and interior. Tatiana was very friendly and informative.

The restaurant offers authentic Ukrainian cuisine, with dishes such as the Golash, the special stroganoff, and the Ukrainian stew, all of which received a perfect rating of 10/10 from us. The staff provided personalized and friendly service, while the atmosphere was comfortable yet refined. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience that delivered on its promise of traditional Ukrainian food.

Visited today with my husband and daughter. Absolutely everything was perfect. The service, the food, the cleanliness... I wouldn't change a thing! The soup that accompanied the entrees was absolutely delicious! We were so full from the stroganoff, goulash, and stew that we got dessert to go. We will definitely be back!

It was my first time trying Ukrainian food and my goodness it was amazing. I just came from the airport and just needed some food after a day of travel and found Tatiana’s. The cabbage soup was so good and a perfect starter. My meal had meatballs that were so tender and delicious and the sauce was to die for. It’s a quaint and cute family owned restaurant! I will definitely return when I’m in town again :)

We travel through Mechanicsburg on our way north and like to stop and eat at Tatiana’s. It’s like walking into chef Ash’s home to have dinner. If Chef Ash is able he will greet you and talk as if you were his friends. You will notice, right away, how passionate he is about his food and how he prepares a meal. The borscht soup is outstanding as well as the lamb shank and filet mignon. Desserts are homemade using honey not sugar and are delicious. They have amazing ice cream as well. This is a very special and unique restaurant and worth a visit

Sitting down to a dinner at Tatiana’s is like sitting down to a gourmet home cooked meal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting - elegant with music softly playing in the background, conducive to quiet conversation and absolutely perfect for date night. A quiet intimate dining experience with a smaller size dining room means that the service and hospitality is top notch - warm bread fresh from the oven, food arriving quickly, and your fruit tea is always topped off. And the food? The food is phenomenal. Absolutely phenomenal. Prior to coming to Tatiana’s, we had never tried Ukrainian food before. The first time we came here we had never tried borscht before (nor did we even know what it was, as we hurriedly googled it to find out what we had ordered!) It is now one of our favorite soups of all time. The entrees are perfectly cooked, flavorful, and absolutely delicious, every single time we visit. We didn’t plan on having dessert but the chef strongly recommended the homemade ice cream and we are SO glad we got it. It was like an ice cream limeade that we couldn’t get enough of. Go to Tatiana’s - you won’t be disappointed and you’ll leave feeling like one of the family. A true hidden gem in the Mechanicsburg area, and a dining experience that shouldn’t be missed.

Celebrated 35th wedding anniversary here and could not have been more pleased. The staff, chef and customers were all friendly and thoughtful. The food and drink, from the iced tea to pumpkin desert was absolutely wonderful! Looking forward to a return trip soon😊

If you want a good and proper food baby, definitely stop here! Hands down one of the best restaurants in which I've ever had the pleasure to dine. Cleanliness and service are top level, plus ambience. I had the Ukranian Stew with salad. The level of detail to flavor of the house dressing-a new obsession-and use of farm to table ingredients is very evident right out of the gate. The quality of the tomatoes alone in the salad was top notch, but paired with that magical dressing, muuuahhh! Very versatile menu but settled on the Stew over rice-very generously portioned and beautiful. The flavors were both on point and fragrant on the tongue, with such a rich sauce, fresh veggies, and 3 different meats. Then they bring the dessert tray and tell me they're made without sugar, only honey, so negative calories right there, and fresh every day to boot. I had the blueberry marscapone with mango sauce---Y'all. I cannot say enough good things! This is my new honey hole when traveling for work, and I advise anyone to go. You will be so happy you did.

Definitely worst and strangest Ukrainian restaurant I ever visited. Bread with mold, borscht without meat and sour cream. All food insanely overpriced. Creepy place.

Went to dinner there while visiting my son. Absolutely awesome. The owner and his wife both came to our table to check on the service, which was amazing, food and dessert was also amazing. Very elegant atmosphere, what a great all around dining experience!!

I have never had Ukrainian cuisine!!! But I definitely think it’s how it would be, they also do have a a few Mediterranean options which were tasty. The desserts were awesome and the chef was amazing, I believe the chef does the service and manages the place, he’s doing a brilliant job !!!

Decided to take my family here for an anniversary diner. The place was recommended by a friend and I am happy they told me about it. The place blew me out of the water. As soon as you walk in, the place makes you feel right at home. We ordered the Ukrainian mix for an appetizer and would honestly come back just for that alone! Then for our meal we got the lamb shank, filet migon, and ravioli dish. All exceptional. We wish we had room for dessert because it looked amazing. 100/10 would recommend

We googled for restaurants near to the hotel we are staying, and Tatiana popped up with rave reviews. Just had a late lunch/early dinner and the food was excellent. The chef/owner was very friendly and really takes pride in what he does. We will definitely visit again if in the area.

Welcoming staff and atmosphere, albeit tight spacing. Tatiana, herself, remembers me as a repeat customers even after several months. Attentive. Unusual flavor profiles are remarkably good and a new addition to their desserts, an ACTUAL pumpkin cheesecake was spectacular. And a large portion. You will never be disappointed. It is BYOB so, with the genuine, earthy ingredients, bring a bolder red.

Had the pork shank osso buco and thoroughly enjoyed it. The meat was tender and fell right off the bone, and the demi-glace sauce was rich and flavorful. The pumpkin mousse I had for dessert was also great - very smooth and creamy.

Wonderful lunch. The chef was very accomodating and created a special luncheon dish for us with vegetable stuffed ravioli and homemade chicken sausage. Peach mango ice tea was terrific and homemade desserts were fabulous, including his homemade ice cream. Borscht soup was made with a light broth. Great for lunch or dinner. Beautifully appointed dining room and lovely quiet porch for outside dining.

All food and tea is perfectly prepared by their very talented chef (the owner), truly authentic, extremely delicious and the presentation is beautiful. The atmosphere is perfect, can enjoy your time in the quaint dining room or on the patio. The owners are extremely welcoming, very pleasant and truly care about their customers satisfaction. It's a complete experience at Tatianas! I've been a customer for years. The patio dining area is wonderful and perfectly lit in evenings (singing crickets included 😁). Inside dining is inviting, comfortable, homey, and unique. The staff are warm, friendly, knowledgeable, patient (I have dietary restrictions), and timely. Lots of their sourced ingredients are organic - awesome bonus! They put their whole heart into their craft, and it shows. The food is wonderfully savory! I'm a HUGE fan of the Signature Chicken Dish, Borscht, and meatball appetizer. Photo is Almond crusted sea bass - also yummy. Thank you, Tatiana and Ash, for always welcoming me, treating me like loving family, and sharing your love of food with me. I'm so grateful I found this place.

The food was delicious! Homemade bread, soup as starters- it was so perfect. We were all visiting from out of town at 3pm on a Wednesday. Weird time for dinner, but the owner was so kind and welcoming- it felt like we were eating at our relatives’ home. Try the Osso Bucco! Wow!

Got the filet mignon and ordered it medium, definetly came out on the rarer side. Otherwise, the flavor was good. All the employees were so friendly.

We tried Tatianna's for the first time since my parents were in town for a visit and on the website, they had options for vegetarians. Plus we went by the rave reviews that we saw on google. I work in resettlement with lots of Ukrainians and they do not recommend this place so I should have listened. The food is tasty, but not necessarily 'Ukranian" and way overpriced. I called to reserve a table for 5 and upon entrance the restaurant is quite cozy and clean and BYOB. For a Friday night there were only 2 other occupied tables, I am not sure about the upstairs. We waited a bit and the chef came out basically barking at us and being quite terse and abrupt, not really explaining the menu and seemly annoyed at our presence. At one point he said he's 'very busy' and he has to go cook now, so I guess they were short staffed, but for people who have not been to your restaurant that was not a welcoming feeling. Before he left, he asked my dad where he was from, then made a weird joke about Indian people. We didn't appreciate the racist humor and we are not Indian, so he basically racially profiled us and was rude for no reason. He came back to the table a few minutes later after we ordered to say that the Chilean sea bass was market price $59, we were like fine, we are not changing our order. That was a bit sly to upcharge after we order, but at this point we were hungry. We never saw him again but Tatiana, his wife came over to check on the table once after that but was literally walking away before we could ask for more water. We tried 2 appetizers, vegetable flatbread and meatballs in a champagne sauce which was good but overpriced with a rosemary sprig sticking out of it. The entrees came out and were pretty much repeats of the same ingredients a protein, the same vegetables and either quinoa or rice and one piece of broccoli and the redundant rosemary accent. My dad's osso Bucco was really small and dry, and my husband's sea bass looked more like a flat slice of tilapia from Giant, not the thick moist whitefish that we are used to getting. I had coconut chicken with Shimp and mini crab cake and it was good, but not for the excessive price point. I don't think coconut, quinoa and crabs are authentic Ukranian ingredients. My mom had vegetables on Quinoa which was $25. All of our food amounted to close to $400 before tip. While the atmosphere was good, the food was mediocre, not anything authentic and ethnic that you would expect from a Ukranian restaurant. we have eaten food all over the world, in Michelin restaurants, in holes in the wall, street vendors, beach shacks etc and had better service and meals. We are not a picky family and I usually write really great reviews on Google. But I had to share this experience. This was not a welcoming environment and certainly the ingredients were not worth between $25-$60.

Update: we just had our third meal here. It has been amazing each time! As I said before, we travel A LOT, and this is one of the few restaurants we've been to in the US that compares to a great European restaurant. Fresh, perfectly balanced spices, excellent flavor combinations, and a wonderful and passionate owner! Absolutely go eat here if you love great, unique food! My wife and I travel constantly and eat at tons of great restaurants. I'd put the meal we just had here in the top three. Absolutely fantastic and I'm sad it's over and that I didn't get to try everything on the menu. I had the "Tropical Rum Coconut Crusted Chicken and Lump Crab Cake". It also had shrimp and broccoli. Every bit of it was perfect. Even the broccoli is the best I've had. I don't generally order chicken, but this was calling my name and I'm so glad I got it. My mother-in-law got the Ukrainian Stroganoff and it was nearly as impressive. The lump crab mango appetizer (a special) was ridiculously good as well, I even considered ordering more of that instead of a meal. Even the fruit tea and coffee were excellent. We had the pleasure of speaking with the owner and chef, who is an inspired, passionate, and genuine guy. I should have given him a hug.

I had the most incredible meal at Tatiana’s. The luncheon special was sea bass with onions, zucchini, apple, feta and nuts over a bed of quinoa. Not only did the flavors meld together beautifully, the combination of textures from the outer crispness of the sea bass, to the hardness of the nuts and softness of the veggies and quinoa made every bite a wonderful experience. The chef is truly inspired and I will definitely be back!

Don't come here for a quick meal. Allow yourself enough time to enjoy the experience. The food is superb, and the owner truly cares about customer satisfaction. This is a great option for a special occasion.

We took a shot trying out Tatiana's for lunch. We are beyond happy that we did. Not only was the food and service suburb, the chef Ash came out multiple times to check on everything. I had the sea bass and my partner had the chicken and crab cake. Each thing we ate was beyond expectations. We started with the current lunch special of spiced chicken sausage along with our Ukrainian style borscht , then had our entrees, finishing with the honey mango berry cheesecake and the lime ice cream, all made in house. We heavily debated getting a gallon of the ice cream to go. We are going back next week and can't wait to keep trying different items on the menu. Do not miss this hidden gem of a restaurant. Absolutely phenomenal.

We found this place after our plan A fell through and wow what a treat. We sampled every category of the very unique menu. Out of this world quality that I have found very few places could even complete. Family owned to which the owner and chef came to our table and spoke with everyone. He truly loves what he does and it's refreshing.

Hello, Tatiana's was a wonderful spot to stop for lunch after we had to fast for Dr. appointments and bloodwork. They kindly allowed us to order off of the dinner menu. The restaurant is quaint and cozy inside. The menu has the perfect number of selections for entree's so they can specialize in all of the entree's. So to start, They serve fresh brewed organic iced tea which you can tell is made fresh. As an appetizer we both ordered the home made Organic Ukrainian Meatballs with white champagne, Alfredo sauce, and Gorgonzola cheese. They use organic Chicken to make these meatballs and they were tasty. For our entree's my husband ordered the Famous Osso Buco Lamb shank, hand-seasoned with a spice rub and perfectly pan-seared, then braised in their classic demi-glace sauce. My husband said this was the best Lamb Shank he had ever tasted and thoroughly enjoyed his entire meal. I ordered the Grass-Fed Filet Mignon Asiago* which is grilled grass-fed filet topped with blackberry honey glaze, served with Asiago cheese, tortellini, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, and onions, in a basil Alfredo sauce. I have to say the homemade tortellini was the best I ever had and wished I had ordered some to take home for later. The filet was savory and not sweet as I thought it would and why I was hesitant to order this and I have to say the combination was very pleasant and I was quite surprised that I loved this combination and my taste buds were delighted with my choice of entree's. For dessert my husband ordered Baklava and he gave me a bite to try and again this was the best Baklava I had ever had and my husband had never had Baklava and he loved it. I had opted for the Coffee crusted pumpkin cake and that very good. We definitely will return to Tatianas when we are in the area again and had a wonderful dining experience. To those who posted the bad reviews we did not experience anything like what you were saying. Our food came out with precision timing, everything was hot and as described on the menu. We had seasonings and our food was perfectly seasoned. No one was rude to us and they accommodated us by moving us to a more comfortable table with padded seating. I highly recommend dining here and I promise you will not be sorry.

This place is absolutely amazing. I visit the area every few months for work, and I make sure to visit this spot every time. I first fell in love with their lunch burger recipe, and was then compelled to try their steak. Both were absolutely delicious! I had never tried borscht before, but their recipe for the soup is absolutely incredible. The restaurant is run by a lovely couple who are excellent at their job. They do a great job keeping you informed of what you order, check up on you regularly as you eat, and overall ensure that you are having a pleasant experience. Lastly, the restaurant has this upscale, yet quaint atmosphere that makes you feel comfy and welcome. The white tablecloth aesthetic alongside the fancy decor would make this quite a good date spot! I have nothing to give but praise to this restaurant. I loved it last time, and I'm sure I will love it again the next time I'm in town.

Tatiana's restaurant is a treasure in Mechanicsburg. We were served by Tatiana herself, she was warm and friendly, and passionate about her food. And rightly so. Our appetizer was delicious. Our soup was full of flavor. And our entrees - osso buco, stroganov, sea bass, and ravioli - were some of the best overall dishes I've had in Central PA, and that's saying something. We finished things off with their desserts, all of which looked fantastic but the ice cream stole the show. Highly, highly recommend. It's BYOB, too.

This restaurant was hands-down, one of the top 3 places I've ever eaten! Wow! From the beautiful atmosphere, the friendly staff, and incredible food, it does NOT disappoint! Upon entering, my boyfriend and I were greeted and seated right away. The chef himself came out to greet us and take our order. He told us about his flavored iced teas, and we each tried a different one. We couldn't even decide which one was better. I've never been much of a tea drinker, but we loved these so much. Then, we had the Borst soup. Even my boyfriend, who I can barely ever get to eat vegetables, RAVED ABOUT THIS SOUP! Score! Our Entrees were served with a warm and chrispy roll, which, as a baker, I can tell you was also made fresh and from scratch. My boyfriend got the Butternut Squash ravioli with shrimp, and I got the Ukrainian Stroganoff, and although both were amazing, I just couldn't get over how delicious my meal was. Throughout our meal, the Chef himself was checking in on us. I absolutely LOVE when a chef takes the time to socialize and interact with their customers. We never have dessert or coffee after, but this time, we sure did! We had coffee, which was soooo good, and shared a slice of the caramel pumpkin cheesecake. It was divine! If I could give this place 10 stars I most definitely would! We have plans to travel back to this area again next month, and we will definitely be back again!

We specifically came from another state to this restaurant. heard a lot of good reviews. but we were very disappointed. We waited for our order for a very very long time. and then we couldn’t eat it, it was not tasty and disappointing. We also waited a long time for the check. dessert from the store, this is not homemade, I'm sure.

Tatianas is the most flavorful and creatively cooked meals I have ever experienced. The chef is amazing. You definitely have to try the food. The sea bass is fresh, great portions and amazing flavors. Try the homemade ice cream and desserts.

It was great to have something different. There are a lot of delicious looking and unique options on the menu, it was hard to choose because so many things looked so good. The food was seasoned nicely and the staff was very nice. Presentation of food was obviously done with care and looked beautiful and appetizing. The atmosphere is cozy and quiet. Unfortunately, part of my sister’s sea bass was undercooked and inedible. We also thought the prices were a bit too high. Price point is a major consideration for us no matter how good the food is, so this will go into the “special occasion” category as opposed to the regular rotation of dinner spots.

A little corner but but big flavor. Everything was great from the Ukrainian Fruit tea, to the Flatbread app, to the borscht, to the steak and ravioli, to the carrot cake and baklava. Everything was delicious and filling. The cozy atmosphere made the meal feel like dining in your own private corner. Every time I come here, I am consistently wowed by the food. Like truly blown away! Everything is homemade and you can tell that they are selective with only using high quality ingredients. The borscht is the best I’ve ever had, even their simple table bread is incredible. You CANNOT beat the baklava either. Enjoyed a WONDERFUL outdoor meal there! Best Osso Buco with the most tender lamb I've ever had. Wish I lived closer because this would be my "go to" place to take family and friends.

Very pleasant service, quiet atmosphere, relaxing. The food was beautiful and tasted just as good as it looked. Although dinner was filling, they brought out the dessert and we couldn't say no! Everything was amazing.

You don't just get a once in a life time meal at Tatiana's, you will have an amazing experience as well. Chef Ash and his wife Tatiana are fantastic hosts and ensure you have great food and service. The restaurant is in an historic house from the 1800's and is beautifully decorated and provides a great atmosphere. You can tell within the first couple of minutes talking to Chef Ash, you will feel his passion for sharing his amazing recipes and making sure everyone is very happy. Love this guy's attitude and personality. All that being said, THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Our party of 5 ordered different dishes and shared. The flavors and quality of food prep & presentation is outstanding. I'm a bit of a foodie and this place was top notch. Don't waste another minute contemplating if you might enjoy Mediterranean & Ukrainian food. This is the place to go. These folks get it right and we will definitely be going back again and again.

Delightful evening. Food amazing and so many wonderful choices. Our party of five shared appetizers - all yummy loved the blue crab and mushrooms and the Ukrainian mix. You have to try the sea bass, goulash and butternut ravioli. What the heck - try them all! Borscht soup is to die for. A bit spicy but lovely. Staff are very friendly and enjoyed chatting with Chef “Ash”

Had dinner with friends in the dining room. The menu has plenty of choices and the dishes are well-described. Very personable service from the family owners. We had the crab- mushroom and Ukranian Mix ( featuring meatballs and sausages) appetizers, both delicious. All enjoyed a cup of peppery beet and cabbage borscht soup. Tried main dishes of sea bass (perfectly cooked fish and shrimp) and Ukrainian Goulash (delectable steak, chicken, sausage and organic veggies stew with a rich, complex sauce). Had the refreshing homemade lime ice cream for a perfect finish. Thanks to Madame Tatiana and Chef Ashraf and their team for a very pleasant evening. Tip: They have no liquor license but you can BYOB.

Update 07/01/24 Came back through town and had the Signature Stroganoff. It was absolutely delicious , so much flavors. The Mediterranean salad and Tea! All amazing. Chef Ash is so cool and friendly. I look forward to coming back in December. One of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Absolutely delicious! Coconut crusted sea bass with crab. It was cooked perfectly. With a ton of flavor. Chef and wife are very cool and personable. I can’t wait to come back.
