We had a great experience with TBD! I was so nervous at first and did not know what to expect but they exceeded expectations. The chef did a great job and the food was delicious! Will definitely be using them again in the future

My wife and I booked this vendor to cater the dinner at our wedding in Evergreen, CO. The service that these folks provide is, to say the least, fantastic and well worth the cost. The owner himself showed up to make our meal, prepackaging some food while preparing other food fresh on site to maintain quality. I was skeptical that a buffet-style dinner was going to be very good, let alone something elegant enough for a wedding. Boy, was I wrong! The food was quite good, very fresh, and presented with style and attentiveness to detail. Holly and her husband (the chef) were nothing but transparent and honest with us the whole time about what they could do for us within our budget. They were flexible on multiple fronts and didn't give us a hard time for every little request or ask. The service staff who came to assist with the dinner (one waitress and one bartender) were extremely professional, hardworking, and friendly. The waitress made us plates of food, seeing how busy we were with the festivities and guests. The bartender was polite and eager to serve all the guests. I was honestly shocked by the quality of service that TBD Foods provides. Perhaps I am too cynical but they seem to stand out in an industry that is intimidating and hard to navigate on a tight budget. Highly recommended!

I'll preface this review by saying that I have high standards- I'm an accomplished cook myself and I lived in NYC for ten years. That being said, when I pay a professional to cook for me and my guests, I expect a certain level of presentation and taste. The pictures on the website did not match up to my experience with TBD. The bread for the avocado toast was sliced unevenly, mostly thin, and the avocado on top was very spare. The pancakes were cold and the server forgot the whipped cream in the fridge until after everyone ate. The roasted vegetables were limp and soggy and piled all together into a bowl without any garnish. The meringues for the pavlova were browned and lumpish and the whipped cream was weird and marshmallowy, with just a single berry on top- no one ate them and this was the dish I was looking forward to serving the most since most people hadn't had one before. I requested fresh juice for my mimosa bar and got bottled. The food was ready twenty minutes past when I requested. Both the chef and the server had the sniffles, which grosses me out if you're touching my food. They piled all my fine china in the dish washer without asking me first if it was safe to do so. After all that, they just laideverything on my counter to dry after hand washing instead of hand drying everything, which felt unfinished and unprofessional. After all those complaints, I do appreciate that I didn't have to do the work of cooking and cleaning. Being rather pregnant, I don't think that I could have, though a large part of me wishes I would have. All that to say, if you're looking for a casual, home-cooking style type of catering, this isn't a bad option. However, if you're looking for a polished, professional type of experience with higher quality food and presentation, I would look elsewhere.

We hired TBD for a Christmas dinner party in our home. The entire experience was wonderful. Holly helped us plan the perfect assortment of food for our meal. Chef Terence is professional and friendly and made himself right at home in our kitchen. The food was outstanding. Having TBD cater made for such a relaxing night for us as hosts. Will definitely use TBD again.

TBD Foods drove all the way from Denver to just outside Estes Park for our wedding. They made two separate Entrees for our 14 guests and a plethora of appetizers. Everything was absolutely delicious, and they did a great job of cleaning up everything afterward as well.

TBD catered my sons graduation party. The food and the service was simply wonderful. The only thing I recommend is to up your numbers for your catering event so you can have leftovers for you. Lol the food is simply delicious. I will definitely use them over and over again.

We and our guests were completely blown away by the expertise, professionalism, and positivity of Logan and Michael at our event Saturday night. It was absolutely phenomenal. TBD did a multi-day event for me. The highlights: Seafood boil, chicken kale pesto sandwiches, lamb meatballs, chicken sliders & ALL OF THE BAKED GOODS!

We did get a little sticker shock when we found TBD catering but they were worth every penny. Their staff was pleasant, kind and so attentive. Our guests were cared for the entire evening and the FOOD! Not a single complaint. The food was to die for and absolutely mouth watering. I appreciate every member of their catering staff and chefs that assisted us that evening. All were true professionals during our wedding. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Holly from TBD Events for our wedding, where she was our Wedding Coordinator! She made things feel so easy & relaxed! I am not one to be in the know on all of the wedding traditions and expectations, and came into my first meeting with Holly having zero idea that I needed to have a timeline, having not considered coordinating vendor arrivals or pick up of decor and leftovers at the end of the event! She worked with me to come up with a timeline (and provided recommendations on ordering of things like first dance, dinner, cake cutting, speeches, etc.), reached out to all of my vendors to ensure they were set to show up on time and have everything they need, and was always available. She came to my walk through and took detailed notes, answered questions I'd forgotten the answers to, and really made me feel like this whole wedding thing was a breeze. Day of, she was communicative, showed up early, helped carry things, set up decor, and even helped with getting my dress on. She had safety pins of all sizes and any other miscellaneous thing I may need. I was especially appreciative of her reminding me to drink water! Mid-event, Holly coordinated with the caterers to get me a small plate of desserts just for me to ensure that my husband and I had a chance to taste every treat. At the end of the evening, Holly made sure that all of the food and decor were handled & put into the car to be taken home. I couldn't have been more pleased and would absolutely recommend anyone in the Denver area use TBD Events!

We used TBD foods for our 25 person wedding, and overall we were very pleased! Holly was our contact leading up to the wedding, and she is incredibly responsive and detail-oriented., which we really appreciated. The menu options were diverse, and we were able to pick meal options that really worked for us. The food was absolutely delicious, and we received many compliments on it throughout the night. The portions were also nicely sized, which isn't always the case with wedding food. The team helped us set up and clean up for a small additional fee. Our only constructive feedback was that we thought we would have 3 servers for the whole night, but the third was only there for a portion of the night, which did make the dinner serving take a bit longer than we had anticipated. However, we still are so glad we chose this vendor!

My husbands 50th birthday party this weekend was catered by TBD Foods. Everyone was raving about the food. It all tasted so good and was so easy to eat. The Lamb Meatballs were the bomb. Some of the guys would literally stand near the kitchen to be the first to grab the next batch. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer. They will be our go-to group from now on. I wanted to do something special for my sister and her bridal party a few days before her wedding, as most of the girls were traveling to Denver from out-of-state. I came across TBD Foods and their excellent reviews, and it seemed like the perfect thing to do! Holly was so responsive and wonderful in helping me coordinate the menu and wine pairings, and made a few recommendations for where I could rent supplies (table, chairs, glassware, etc. - I ended up going through Colorado Party Rentals). The day of the event, Terence and his team arrived early to set up and then got to work making the most delicious and well-paced meal! I was a little nervous beforehand because my sister's kitchen isn't that big but I didn't have to worry about a thing. We truly had a restaurant experience in the comfort of my sister's home. I was so impressed with the food, the service, and Terence's knowledge. They also left my sister's place sparkling clean! I would recommend them to anyone and would 100% use their services again!

My fiancé and I tried to plan our wedding 3 different times during Covid with no luck. Then, finally found TBD and Sullivan's Scrap Kitchen. Upon introduction to Terrance and Holly, we immediately knew they would be able to pull off a spectacular event. They were professional, organized, DELICIOUS, and most importantly, made having the best time on our special day their top priority. I couldn't recommend a caterer or company more highly. The entire night from passed appetizers, cocktails, full bar service, 5 seated food courses with wine pairing couldn't have gone any smoother. I had to spend Christmas eve by myself this year (COVID) and wanted to order something nice for dinner--I ordered from TBD foods and everything was amazing! It was packed up very nicely, reheating instructions were very easy to follow and the food was delicious!

Bought a 2021 NYE dinner from TBD Foods and was amazed with the amount of food I got. The package included an appetizer, beet and kale salad, cast iron chicken, 2 sides and dessert. They even through in a midnight snack. I had enough for leftovers the next day and the price was only $60. Really great quality and service. Hope they continue to offer packages in the future!

WOW! We had TBD Foods come over to our AirBNB to cook a dinner for my mother’s 60th birthday. Living out of state, it was so easy to work together via email on the menu and everything really came together. My brother and his wife decided they wanted to stay last minute and Terrence was very accommodating. The food was amazing, I can’t even choose my favorite course because they were all delicious. I would love to use TBD Foods again next time I’m in Denver for something special!

Friendly, helpful, delicious! Everything you'd hope for in a private chef experience. We decided to elope due to Covid and hired TBD Foods for an intimate 5 course dinner at the AirBnb we rented. From the start, Holly was so helpful and easy to work with as we ironed out the menu. On the day of, Terrence made a wonderful dinner in a small kitchen. The food was beautifully dished and the service was friendly and perfectly timed (so as not to interrupt abruptly). Everyone raved about the fried shallots & squid ink linguini.

So glad I found TBD on Yelp! The 5 star rating from all their reviews was the main reason for trying them out and they didn't disappoint! Truly professionals with a kind and helpful staff. Chef Terence took the time to convert all the courses we requested to be gluten free for a celiac guest so bravo! Every course was on time, the kitchen was clean and they continually asked what our needs where throughout dinner. Another well deserved 5 start review!

Terrence and Holly were fantastic from start to finish. We were planning on having our wedding in Hawaii and had to cancel due to 2020 circumstances. With this, we planned a last minute elopement week with a few of our closest friends and family locally in Colorado. I reached out to TBD to plan a few dinners and a brunch, and they could not have been better in their assistance and coordination. They were easy to work with, the food was fantastic and they took care of everything. I would highly recommend them for your events!

We hired TBD Foods to celebrate my mother in-laws 70th birthday as well as my husband and my 10th wedding anniversary. The chef, Terence, and his sous chef arrived promptly at the scheduled time and were very professional, polite and respectful throughout the night. We had a dinner for my son's 40th birthday. It was a surprise and he was thrilled. It was fun, tasty, interesting (not same ole stuff every one makes) and extremely enjoyable. Unbelievable Dinner Experience! Terence was contacted to be our personal chef for our 30th wedding anniversary dinner. He responded quickly when contacted and was very accommodating with my special menu requests. He arrived exactly on time and was very conscientious about wearing a mask and gloves. Terence was incredibly professional as he prepared the food, and very personable as he served us the amazing multiple course dinner. Dessert was divine and he graciously left us extra portions! I chose TBD to come and cook an anniversary dinner on a Saturday night last month for my wife and I, along with my daughter and mother in law. I wanted something special but due to the pandemic we weren't comfortable going out. So I contacted TBD at fairly short notice (just over a week before) and Holly responded very quickly. She helped me pick the menu for our meal based on budget and number of people. Their menu is extensive with lots of great options and I didn't have a hard time finding dishes we would like. Terence came to cook the meal for us and he was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious and as good as anything you would order at a fine dining restaurant. Terence was friendly and professional. He explained the dishes and we had some great conversation about the ingredients they source and their new restaurant downtown which we intend to visit at some point. This was the first time we booked a personal chef and I would absolutely do it again, and I'd recommend TBD Foods to anyone considering doing the same.

Terence cooked a private dinner for me, my sister and her friends for her small bachelorette party. The dinner he prepared was nothing short of amazing. We had several starters, an entree and desert and had leftovers that lasted us two days. Not only was the food great, but Terence made the process of picking the menu and budgeting super easy. We loved working with TBD Foods for a 50th Anniversary dinner in our Greenwood Village home. Terence was very responsive and selecting a menu was easy and all of our food requests were met with a "yes, we can do that!" Chef John and Server Holly were awesome - on time, professional, left the kitchen spotless. Food was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. The Banana's Foster flambe was the perfect finale to our night. I will call on TBD again for our next occasion. 100% recommend.

My husband and I used Terence with TBD Foods for our wedding reception. Terence was incredibly helpful and creative in planning a menu that was unique to us and our guests. The process was easy, smooth, and he was very receptive to our wants/needs/preferences. On the day of our reception, his team was timely and professional. They were attentive and served a delicious series of courses, each one more delicious than the last. Although everything was amazing and I'd highly recommend every dish we received, I was surprised and delighted to find that my favorite bite of the meal was the asparagus salad. Wow! It was so fresh and delicious, I'll be wishing I could order it again for a long time. The elk tenderloin was also incredibly tender and rich, I'd that even our guests that don't usually enjoy game meat found it to be their favorite protein! The TBD Foods team also left our home in wonderful shape and I felt comfortable to have them in our home, it was as if no one had even been in our kitchen. I would absolutely without a doubt recommend TBD Foods to anyone and look forward to the opportunity to work with them again. Contacted the company via its website portal and got a prompt response from the owner, Terrence. He proceeded to provide excellent customer service via email to set up the right menu and options for my group. He was extremely communicative and adaptable. On the day of, our chef, John, arrived on time, was gracious and friendly, proceeded to bring all his equipment in, set up, cook us a delicious meal based on what we ordered, and then cleaned up perfectly, laid out our leftovers on the table, and left. All we had to do was relax as a group and enjoy a fresh hot meal in our airbnb served by a personal chef. Great experience, would definitely do again and maybe try some different things on their menu options. One tip for future users that may not be obvious: if you require varying spice levels among your group, let them know up front so they can accommodate with hot sauce etc.

TBD did a really fantastic job at an event for work colleagues at our home. The menu options were outstanding, food was exceptionally good, Terence and Holly were friendly and highly professional, and best of all we were able to focus on our guests. Besides making the menu selections, Terence and Holly took care of everything else including putting leftovers away and washing dishes -- it was a treat not to have any cleanup to do at the end of the evening. Highly recommend and would definitely work with them again!

When I was looking for a personal chef to come into my home to make a birthday dinner for myself and friends I did what most people do and looked on the internet for options. I found TBD Foods and I saw that all of their ratings were 5 stars. I am always a bit hesitant when I see all 5 star reviews because no one is perfect. In this case, I couldn't have been more wrong. Terrence responded to my inquiry very quickly and walked me through the process. The menu has a wide selection of items and offers something for everyone. I am gluten-free but he easily made adjustments as needed. The meal was incredible, my guests and I were very impressed. The evening was a great success and I could not have been happier. We had TBD cook a family meal for a family holiday gathering this year. And it was a fantastic experience. Terrance was extremely responsive via email to any questions as we prepared for the evening. We were able to work with him to develop a custom menu based on dietary preferences and he also provided wine pairing recommendations. The evening of dinner was extremely easy and straightforward. He took care of cleaning dishes and the kitchen was left sparkling afterwards. Finally, and most importantly, the food was a delicious mix of local ingredients, interesting exotic spices, and various preservations and concoctions that they had made. I can't recommend TBD Foods highly enough!

I was so happy with our choice to work with Terence and TBD Foods for a bachelorette party dinner for 11 in Denver. It was an easy and fun planning process, including a lot of flexibility with dietary restrictions we had in our party. The food was amazing and the meal flowed perfectly with our evening. The whole cooking team was flexible with our timing and left us with great leftovers at the end of the evening! Favorite dishes included the ceviche tostada, the sage gnocchi, and the crème brûlée.

We hired TBD Foods to make brunch for my friend’s bachelorette weekend and it might have been my favorite part of the while weekend! Terence was very responsive and communicative while we were confirming details for the brunch. He graciously accommodated dietary restrictions which I really appreciated! He was very friendly and talked to us about his background and the company while he was cooking, and also tolerated our bachelorette mimosa-fueled shenanigans. The food was absolutely amazing! High quality, well thought out ingredients. The presentation was beautiful too. You can tell Terence truly loves and cares about what he does! He also cleaned up and even washed our dishes afterwards which was so appreciated. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! It made our weekend just that much more special. If you are looking for a personal chef, whether for an intimate dinner or big event, I highly recommend TBD Foods.

My girlfriend hired TBD Foods (Terence was our chef) for my birthday last February. It was my first time experiencing something like this, as it was hers, and all we could say after that evening was: "can Terence cook for us every night?" Seriously, we began planning parties and events which we could hire TBD Foods for. Now, I could go on forever talking about our experience, but to keep this to three digestable points on how great our experience was, I would say that TBD Foods (and Terence) are masters of: 1. Hospitality 2. Culinary Skill (Taste, Presentation, Creativity) 3. Making your private dining experience, and special event, one that you, your loved ones, and guests will ever forget. The experience with TBD Foods made my birthday the best I've ever had. Also, for those neat freaks out there, once Terrence had finished cooking, he washed the dishes, the stove, the counters, and I'm not kidding you when I say it was like no one was even in our apartment.

I wanted to give my husband an in-home dinner for two prepared by a local chef as a present for him, and found Terence and TBD Foods after doing some research. As soon as I emailed Terence with questions, he was very responsive. I wasn't sure what to expect with an in-home dinner, but it turned out to be such a special night for us!! Terence made a 5-course dinner and every single item was amazing!! The flavors were incredible and the presentation was beautiful!! He prepared a seafood skewer that was phenomenal as well as a short rib caramel, beet salad, red snapper, New York Strip...every dish was to die for!! I highly recommend Terrence and TBD Foods!! You'll be so happy you hired him!!

We had Terence cook a 50th anniversary dinner for our parents. He was very easy to work with, both online and over the phone. He showed up on time, and got right to work prepping. He would answer any questions we had, and it was fun to hear about his process and tips. Between Terence and Holly, everything was perfect. We were able to customize appetizers for different preferences, and everything was wonderful. I loved how creative some things were, like the crispy quinoa for the salad and having two different types of creme brûlée. We had a few picky kids, and they were fine that we had to get food elsewhere for them. Part of the reason we didn’t want to go out was because of the kids-it’s not always fun for them (especially for long periods in nice restaurants). We were able to enjoy an nice dinner while the kids could play elsewhere in the house. And, with Holly cleaning between courses and loading the dishwasher at the end, we didn’t have to lift a finger. It was a relaxing evening, and I’d definitely recommend TBD Foods for any type of dinner. Terence mentioned doing a BBQ for a group, and that sounding amazing. Next time we want to have a nice dinner, TBD Foods will definitely be a consideration!

Terence and his staff helped create a perfect small holiday dinner party for us. The short ribs over polenta was extraordinary as was the dark chocolate mousse with orange zest. Wow! And Terence explained each course while his staff learned guests' names and drink preferences. Very impressive. Our guests were calling the next day to say how wonderful the whole evening was and to get his number.

Had an absolutely fantastic experience with TBD catering. Terence was extremely easy to work with and helped us throw a great office holiday party for twenty at our house in Park Hill, Denver. Food was delicious and we hope to hire Terence again and again. He was able to make special and tasty accommodations for our vegan and pescaterian guests.

We hired Terance to cook/cater for a dinner party for 12. He was extremely accommodating, courteous, and professional. I also appreciated his quick response time whether I reached out via text or email. As for the food, we had a hard time choosing from his menu options. We ended up going with 3 appetizers: "Blowtorch Tuna", "Smoked Egg In a Jar", and "Short Rib Caramel". Our dinner consisted of "72-Hour Brisket and veggies, "Smoked Potato Puree" and "Sage Gnocchi", finishing with the "Sugar Waffle". I definitely recommend TBD Foods and will absolutely use them again if I need a caterer/personal chef.

What a joy to work with Terence and his team. It was obvious that a ton of care, hard work, and pure enjoyment went into the preparation of his food. Set up, service, and clean up were all taken care of which made the entire event such a breeze. Definitely recommend contacting Terence for any sort of special event or corporate meal.

TBD delivered! Terence and Holly expertly executed a bridal luncheon for sixteen. I was an out-of-town hostess and the event was held at another woman's home. Long distance pre-planning reassured me that the food would be special. Terence worked with me to accommodate special food needs and to showcase local produce. TBD came as scheduled and everything was well organized and orchestrated on the day of the event. Food was delicious and I recommend TBD without hesitation.

Terence cooked my family any absolutely wonderful meal from start to finish. He helped me design a great menu full of interesting choices (bison, lamb, scallops, elk, squid ink pasta) and the execution was flawless. We need to come back out to Colorado just so that he can cook for us again!

Terence was awesome! He was very communicative leading up to our event and very professional and respectful once he arrived at the house. The food was delicious, he forgot one of the dishes we ordered (would confirm menu right before as feedback!), but our eyes were bigger than our bellies - so it worked out! Would highly suggest! There aren’t enough positive words in my lexicon to praise Terence and his work highly enough. I hired him to cook for an 11-person dinner party in our home as a birthday surprise for my partner, and he nailed it on every level. He was super easy to communicate with from the very beginning, worked to create a unique menu that took several food restrictions and allergies into consideration, and just made the entire process leading up to the party a breeze. On the day of, he arrived right on time and jumped straight into preparing our meal, which was nothing short of stunning. He clearly sources his ingredients with great care and it’s obvious that he brings so much intention to his dishes; every single bite was packed with fresh flavor. His food is the kind that makes you slow down and take smaller bites so you can savor it as much as possible. He plated his dishes beautifully and carefully and gave us a nice description of each before serving, so that we could fully appreciate the food before us. I’m fortunate that I got to chat with him as he set up, too, as I got an even greater insight into his efforts; not only was he so pleasant to talk with, I was amazed to learn that he’d spent hours just hand-rolling the squid ink pasta that was our main course! At the end of the night, our guests (and most importantly, my foodie partner) were stuffed and raving about the wonderful tastes they’d experienced, and Terence even left our kitchen cleaner than when he’d started! I could go on and on, but really, if you’re considering hosting an event and the quality of food and service is key, it’d be an impossible task to find someone better suited for it than Terence.

Terence is a true professional. He managed all facets of planning and executing a four course dinner for 16 people at our house and the event was flawless. He kept us in the loop on planning details ahead of the event and had great ideas. Best of all, he and the TBD Foods staff interacted with all of the guests and were warm and welcoming throughout the evening. Highly recommend Terence for any special event catering needs!

Booked Terence for a girls weekend brunch. Had been emailing him back and forth from states away for months, he was very responsive and even called me back while he was on vacation! Food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed working with him.

Terence and his staff catered our company Christmas party. We had the party at our home and served close to 35 people. Not only was the food incredible he was able to provide a bartender as well. Needless to say we will be calling them the next time we host an event! Also, FYI they served the best squash Pierogi I have ever had!

We had a group of 9 and were lucky to find Terence and his associate Richard. They ended up cooking 5 nights for us and every night was amazing. Everything was well thought out and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Highly recommend them to anyone in the area who needs private chef services.

I rely on TBD Foods for great catering, but had yet to attend one of their dinner events. My husband and I went to their "Taste of Summer" dinner this weekend. It was such a great time, all we could talk about on the car ride home was how annoyed we were with ourselves for waiting this long to go. The food: fantastic. We had five courses (I believe), each one better than the last. The dishes were exquisite, and were inspired by the approaching summer season. The chef came out with each course and explained a little about the dish and where the ingredients were sourced from. I was happy to hear that all of the fresh ingredients were from local farmers' markets. This is a great event if you are a foodie, or just someone that wants to learn more about great food! The location: perfect. The place had a warm, welcoming vibe, yet was well-equipped to handle this size of an event. A large community-style dining table accommodated everyone comfortably and allowed us to interact with all of the guests while dining. Staff: energetic and professional. You can tell that the staff really cares about good food themselves. I am just starting to learn about food in general, and they never hesitated to answer questions. This was the best experience overall. I am so glad I went and can't wait to attend TBD Foods' next event. Tip: book early, because spaces fill up quickly.

Just had my first dinner with this group on Saturday and LOVED it! The food was soooo yummy and the company was excellent. Really awesome concept! I can't wait to attend more dinners.

Food is a shared experience and Chef Terence has created a unique incubator for people to enjoy a gourmet dinner in a non pretentious setting. When I arrived I was led to this cozy porch that had different plants growing that would be used in some of the dishes served. I went alone and was given a ticket by some friends for my birthday. There were some people seated already and they were very nice and welcoming and everyone seemed to look forward to having the food. I did not feel out of place at all and even would say I grew closer to these strangers in a very short amount of time. As for the food, I had a 5 course rustic italian dinner for $60.00. It was incredible. All the food was a new taste experience and being surrounded by some of the raw ingredients was like being in a mad scientist's lab after hours. I am all about creating community and gourmet food, and this was more than just a dinner, it was a dining experience I will continue to tell my friends about.

We have a two-year old and knowing all the logistics that now go into going out, my brother bought us a three-course dinner with TBD as a Christmas gift. We cashed it in this weekend and my God, this was on par with some of the best restaurant meals we had in our freewheeling and fancy-free days (no surprise given Terence has worked for Bronwyn and Highland Kitchen). Terence worked with us on a menu, sending a few options for each course (which took into account some dietary restrictions) and was happy to give wine recommendations, too. He came, he cooked, he left our kitchen cleaner than he found it – he brought everything he needed and even the bread was baked from scratch. Best part, 10 minutes after he left we were sitting on our own sofa, no need to drive, no need to hire a sitter, we just got to kick back and relax while TBD took care of everything!

My husband recently bought a Groupon for a home cooked meal from TBD Foods for my birthday. It was amazing - Terence brought all of the ingredients and cookware needed to prepare a restaurant-quality meal in our own home. He gave my husband a potential menu, and worked with him to create the perfect birthday dinner for me. We would absolutely use TBD Foods again!

My husband and I attended one of TBD Foods' brunches couple of months ago, and we loved it. There were a lot of courses--something new was always being handed to me, it seemed--and the food was inspired. The standouts for me were the bacon, which was home cured and home smoked and incredibly addictive, and the pain perdu, which was beyond words, more like fried custard than anything. The home fries were cooked in uber-healthy and delicious duck fat (and, as a lone criticism, could have been more fried than they were, but that did not interfere with my enjoyment one bit). The atmosphere is casual and fun. The serveware and table linens are more ad hoc than fancy, so if you are expecting a matched, restaurant quality table setting, that is not what you will find, but the food and the company more than made up for that. Some of the other diners seemed to be regulars, and everyone was interesting and pleasant. We have not yet attended any of the evening events, but that is more a function of not being able to round up the other couple with whom we want to go than any anything else. Altogether, a great experience.
