Got some drinks and brought some bags home after a trip to Telluride. We were very happy with our purchase. It was fun watching them roast the beans inside. Wish we could have hung out in there but there is no seating.

Coffee was good, breakfast sandwich left a lot to be desired.

Found them by accident a few years ago on a road trip through Colorado. I have been ordering exclusively from them for the last 2+ years. Their coffee is phenomenal. Beyond the best coffee on planet Earth, it’s the little personal touches that sets this place apart. Quick shipment, personal thank you note, they usually toss in a small treat, and super friendly the 1 time there was an oops. They have earned a customer for life.

Small cramped entryway. But that just leads to a full view of the roasting process Max has set up. Max the roastmaster told me everything about his process and had a indepth conversation about coffee tastes. After I asked for a lb of oaxaca he split my purchase into half a lb of that and a mystery bag which he told me to trust him. After brewing both beans I'm amazed at how accurately Max was able to pinpoint my coffee preferences. I don't usually ship beans but from these guys I gotta!

The best coffee in the Telluride area. I drive down to Lawson to switch up my lunch break a few times a week. Damon is the best barista and I enjoy talking to him while he concocts something delicious. Delicious coffee and pretty great prices!

Support local!!! Love these magick beans. Super tasty and smooth. Quality is there. Love how the beans look oily and super potent inside the bag. In the grinder they go and my soul starts dancing. Now wait listen to the sounds and trace the scent that's ruminating through the house. Cup of coffee in the morning!

There's a roaster in action as you walk in this shop. We love the coffee here and the folks are so nice to us.

Everything is delicious (lattes, brewed coffee, lemonade, treats) and the staff couldn’t be nicer! Highly recommend.

Great spot, especially if you enjoy high quality coffee

Stopped in for a coffee on our way out of Telluride and this tiny spot was WAY more than we expected. The storefront fits about 2-4 people standing in line and that's it. They have a roasting bin right in your face and the friendliest barista. My friend ordered the matcha latte and the man MADE MATCHA the old school Japanese way with a whisk and bowl. Don't forget to check out their retail too! Lots of beans, teas, and snacks all curated as "good quality" items per the barista. This is a good stop for souvenirs and snacks for the road alike!

Location isn’t correct. In the longer strip of stores. Only a could steps away from where the pin states. Coffee tasted very good. They were processing coffee when we walked in—cool to see.

Very good coffee, even better service! We arrived 6 minutes after they closed on a Friday but one of the guys was nice enough to ask if we needed anything. We tried to politely refuse, assuming they'd already cleaned the machine and such, but he was nice enough to offer us drip that would otherwise we poured out. Much to our surprise, he came back with the best espresso drink we had in Telluride because the drip was already emptied! He didn't know it, but it was the last day of our honeymoon and my 30th birthday so it made our day just that much more special! The only downside is they aren't open on the weekends, so when we tried to drop by on our way home the next day for another drink and a chance to provide another in-person thank you + tip, we couldn't. Hope this thank you and good karma gets to the guy who helped us!

Great coffee, wish they had more flavors, best prices I could find in the area, try the hand tied chai tea bags if you aren't a coffee hound. Ps the Ginger molasses cookies down the parking lot are darn good too

After falling in love with their coffee, I had to go home to the east coast. Thankful for shipping -- and even more thankful for their AMAZING customer service, friendliness, and warmth. My own error was likely to blame and ground coffee (5 pounds of it) arrived, when I needed whole bean for my machine. Monique to the rescue! I have never seen a new bag go from Colorado to Virginia so fast and fresh (we emailed Saturday and it arrived MONDAY!) -- and they exchanged it without question. I know times are tough in all small businesses these days and customer service will keep the best ones alive; these folks have STAYING power....and I now have caffeine power too, thanks to TCR.

This was the best coffee/espresso we had in Telluride. It wasn’t overpriced, there wasn’t a ridiculous line, service was friendly, and the espresso was so smooth tasting.

This Coffee is so GOOD that I have no choice but to keep buying it! It was so good, that Avalanche is now my go to Coffee.

Been ordering 5 lbs. a month for almost a year and still every day follow the first sip with, "Damn that's delicious!!!" Best coffee hands down!!!

Some of the best coffee you will have! We love their coffee and with them becoming carbon neutral it is even better. We moved away from Telluride but still get this coffee shipped to us every couple months! Do yourself a favor and try this if you haven’t.

Best coffee roaster in Colorado (if not the entire U.S.). Doug and crew are well-grounded in meeting customers tastes and needs. The Vienna Roast is superb (dark, rich and full-bodied), but every roast and every blend I have tried there has exceeded my expectations.

This place has an expresso bar, stacks of burlap bags, and a proprietor that creates a blend by dipping into three sacks with a calibrated eye for the blend with the result being fabulous coffee. He offered us an expresso shot for buying a pound, nice. Get your coffee here.

Simply the best, staff, coffee, just the best!!!

They roast seriously great coffee beans, single origin, combination of two roasts, Sumatra and other brands. They allow expresso tastings and 8oz and 1lb bags are available for purchase. We loved their code as it's oily, slightly acidic, almost creamy, medium and dark roast. Coffee drinks are not available, they are working on expanding their presence in stores in nearby towns instead. Great for traditional coffee drinkers and coffee enthusiasts
