We had a great time, they had things for adults and kids to do. We’re definitely going back.

We have been here twice now. The owner and his wife were super friendly and made sure we had a great time! Had some good grub at a food truck they had set up outside, good variety of adult beverages at the bar inside.

Great time here. Staff were friendly and helpful. Axe Throwing was safe and such a cool location.

Large enough venue for 50 people to play video games or throw axes. Staff was attentive and provided helpful tips to make the experience enjoyable rather than frustrating. I would do it again if the opportunity presents itself.

Went for a church men's event and had a great experience. The owner and staff were friendly and knowledgable, good at coaching new throwers, and kept it fun. Highly recommended!

This place is so much fun! We had our own trainer/game coordinator who just so happened to be the owner. After a few practice throws, we played several games and had many laughs. We were even shown some trick throws. The drinks and the UBP Food Truck were a perfect ending to great hour of axe throwing. Thank you Texas Axe & Ale for a great evening!

My family went for my husband's birthday last night and it was a blast. The owners were so friendly and Jason gave us some intresting information about axe throwing. He helped me get a bullseye my second throw 🥳 they have food trucks outside for food and that also was amazing! This is definitely a place to go with your friends, family, and even coworkers if you need a fun team building. It's different than other axe throwing places because they teach you the art, give you fun facts and even show you some trick shots. It's worth the trip!

Our family got together for a birthday. It was so nice to be able to celebrate an adult birthday with family members of all ages. Loved the atmosphere. A little something for everyone. The staff was very friendly and the coaches were amazing. We look forward to spending more family time here!

Our host was amazing! He was very patient with us all and we enjoyed each game we were able to play.

We went for a friends birthday and had so much fun! Being led by our Axpert through games. There were 5 of us and we got split into 2 teams to “compete” against each other in these games. They were very informative of how to throw the axe and handling the axe. Our Axpert stayed with our group the whole time and would help make adjustments on our throws when needed. It was overall such a fun experience we laughed and had such a great time. THANK YOU ALL AT TEXAS AXE & ALE for hosting us it was so amazing

We love Texas Axe & Ale! We had a large party and they were super accommodating. The coaches are super knowledgeable & let us play fun games! This is the second birthday party I’ve had there & I will probably continue to go every year! They’re great! The owners are so kind & really makes it feel like home there.

Everything was AWESOME!!! I'm so glad we found this spot. Open atmosphere, CLEAN restrooms, AC, DELICIOUS beer (stout/porter and Mango Cart... YES), superb service... free pool play and arcade play... food truck. So excited to have this spot as an option to hang out and bring my daughter to.:)

Facility was great and coaching was thorough and fun. Our coach had different games to play and was very witty. It was our first time and would definitely be back.

My family and friends love coming here. The kids can hang out and play video games or table games while the parents axe throw. They have a great selection of craft beers and also offer wine and ciders. I haven't had a chance to really dive into the food offered at the food trucks but the food looks amazing. Let me also add that the service is amazing and it's a family owned business. So you are supporting a local business

Jason is so personable. The customer is royalty here. Video games, games on the table, clean, cool, good seating, throwing lessons were delivered with safety and iced with humor. Overall a great place.

No food was served other than what we brought. I had a blast! It was way more fun than I expected and Jason was amazing. Definitely want to go back!

This is such a fun place for all ages! The ax throwing is geared for any experience level. The staff is fantastic at assisting and answering questions. We were well taken care of. There are great food trucks regularly on the weekend and other events throughout the week. While you're waiting or just hanging out, there is a pool table and video games. At each table, there is a tabletop game as well.

Jason was a fantastic coach. Attentive and knowledgeable as he explained how I could improve my throws. Fun and interactive as he cracked jokes and kept score during all our varied games. The environment was family-friendly, well-lit, and welcoming. Loved the upbeat 80s/90s music.

Had the best time ever, as my husband and I did date “day” here. This place is so thoughtful, knowledgeable and they make sure you have fun at the end of the day while teaching you some amazing tricks and history. Will definitely be coming back! Thanks for having us 😃.

We had a great time. The owners are so kind and friendly. Our coach was awesome, Johnny. It was so much fun. I thought the axes would be too heavy, but they weren’t. We had relatives in from New England and they had a blast. It’s a bit pricey, but…..I loved the prayer wall. What a great idea. I will definitely go back.

Heather & Jason do a fantastic job at welcoming everyone like it's their own home! We really just needed a night out from the standard dinner/movie & this was absolutely perfect for us!! To top it off - The food truck was Schnitzel It - OMG!! I grew up in Germany & it felt like a home dinner table meal! We WILL be back & recommend to all we meet along the way for both these fabulous small businesses!

This place was amazing. They hosted our party of more than 60 people ranging in age from 2-55. There was something there for everyone, and everyone had a fantastic time. And the New Braunfels Food Truck was delicious.

We took my 87 year old mom, who suffers from Alzheimer’s. She had the best time and it was a joy seeing her have so much fun. The rest of us had a blast, as well!

Our group had a great time. Our hosts took a personal interest in us, and ensured we learned everything that we needed for safe and fun axe throwing. Highly recommend Texas Axe and Ale, especially for group activities.

Texas axe and ale was so fun! I threw my husband his surprised 40th bday party there back in August! The owners and the staff were so great to work with! It was the best time! I highly recommend booking an event there or even just going for a night out! Everything was absolutely great!!

We held our work crew party here and it was fantastic! Our coaches were friendly and funny and we were well tended to. Our crew had a great time throwing axes and bonding. Heather was a pleasure to work with and very accommodating. Great place and great people!

What an incredible place. The owners are just the coolest people with a great place to take the family for some fun. Huge space, great drink selection, FREE ARCADE GAMES, plus a whole mess of throwing bays with expert coaches. Mike basically became our friend while he taught us to throw axes. We will definitely be back and everyone should go here! Our second time there we had Blake, who was also amazing. Idk which one was better, we’ll have to go back again!

Love that you get your own coach the whole time you’re there. They teach you a few different ways to throw and lots and lots of different games you can play. Also super kid friendly. Plenty of games both video and boards they can play while you throw. Second time here and both experiences were great!

Jason and Heather have an great place for gatherings and are awesome proprietors. They took time to educate us on axe throwing and made it a fun evening. The atmosphere is inviting with lots of fun to be had. We'll be back.

This is our second time here with plans to return. The owners are so kind and really go above and beyond to make their customers feel comfortable handling axes and ensuring they have a good time. Our first time ever Axe throwing and we learned a lot from Johnnie who wad out assigned instructor. He had several games for our group to play that taught us team work, trained us in aiming, home in our unnatural throwing skill, made the competitive side come out, and was so great we want to come back even though we stay in Kingwood, TX. The establishment is very clean and organized. Several different table games to play for free that I have never played before. The owner takes pride in his place of business as well as making sure you feel safe and like everyone is family there. Many drinks to choose from as well as variety of food trucks that come by.

After working up an appetite from all the axe throwing, we were thrilled to discover the Food Coma food truck on-site. The menu was mouth-watering, and the food exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend trying their signature fried chicken sandwich. I had the Chihuahua spice level #1. It was absolutely delicious and left me in a blissful "food coma." The food truck staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring that we were served promptly and with a smile. Overall, Texas Axe & Ale is a must-visit spot for anyone looking for a unique and entertaining experience. The combination of axe throwing, great coaching, and a fantastic food truck made for an unforgettable outing. I can't wait to gather my friends and head back for another round of axe throwing and delicious eats!

This is one of my favorite places to go for entertainment, whether your ax, throwing, playing pool, playing arcade games, or grabbing some great food from a food truck. This place is a must try! The staff and owners are amazing and they’ll help you feel comfortable, throwing axes and learning fun games to play!

The food was amazing! Our friend group was celebrating a birthday and it was made special for her. The bar service was spectacular and our coach was amazing. I was so nervous to hold an axe I didn’t want to go! He made things easy and fun for the 3 of us. I plan to take other friends there to show them how amazing Axe & Ale is! Loved it!

My husband took the family here for my b day. It was a fun surprise. The video games are free and the kids that were too young to throw kept themselves busy. The instructor showed us what to do and let us play a game or told us what was what score wise and we tried to out throw each other. I loved how laid back it was and how kid friendly it is. Will be back for sure :)

Outstanding boards where your axe always sticks. I've been to other axe throwing places and the wood is so darn hard that the axe just falls off even after it goes in the wood. Also, the folks are so nice and many different beers to drink. Definitely a hidden gem.

Did not use the bar/ snack area…. But everything was great! We had my husband‘s 50th birthday here and the owners are amazing!

We really enjoyed our time there. A staff member gave us a lesson on how to throw the axe before we started and gave pointers through out our time there. There were other activities for those not interested in learning about axes. My husband enjoyed his craft beer (I'm not a beer drinker). Food was not available that night, but we did bring our own.

It was a grand time celebrating my daughter's and husbands anniversary. The grandkids also had a great time too. They loved the atmosphere. They have venders that sell snack, a food truck was outside and the alcohol inside. The coach was great and around to help. If you get tired of axe throwing, there are games on every table and some fun arcade games! We will definitely be back.
