Great food. I've been coming here for decades. I do wish that they would open it back up for sit down or delivery. I hope they stay open.

Actual prices are just a few dollars more than what's listed online, as an FYI to anyone else ordering for pickup/take out! I ordered for pickup and realized that their online menu prices no longer matched their actual prices once I was paying at the restaurant. I was not told the total price over the phone, but I also did not ask.

Good food. Makes me nervous that they don't open up for sit down. It's like they know something. They haven't opened up since covid

No indoor seating but there is a picnic bench outside. Call in order before you go.

Pai Thai was delicious, and the staff working there were considerable. If you are a UIC student remember bringing your ID card, they would give you a 10% discount.

I've literally been coming here for 17 years - which is insane to think about. I always get the pan fried chicken noodles. I super recommend.

Delicious every part of what i had no grease all immensely wonderful. Staff were super quick and delightful. Honestly the Hot and Sour soup was the best along with Pad Woonsen thai bowl.

Best authentic Thai I've ever had! I drive down from Michigan a few times a year just to grab takeout from this great spot. Such a welcoming place to enjoy a meal. The atmosphere is always warm and friendly! It's been a while since I've eaten IN house due to covid but I'm still happily supporting whether the dining room is open or not

The food was delicious and the portions really filling! The price is definitely worth the food! The people working it were incredibly sweet. Definitely recommend the iced coffee especially

Food is delicious. But prices went up and portions got smaller and this is not updated on website. Asked for some hot sauce (which previously was on tables for free) and they said it was $2 more. Wild. No more dine-in, only take out.

The portion size is on the smaller side given the price, so you could look into some other options for more food if you plan on spending $15-$20 for lunch. But the food was good though. Keep in mind they only have takeout.

I always try to stop by whenever I am around this area. Asian Beef Noodle is amazing. Great service!

They permanently closed the dining room which makes me sad. Loved this place since 20 years ago. The Phad Thai lacked some vegetables.

Probably the best Thai food near UIC

I went here on a recommendation from a friend... It did not disappoint. I got the beef curry noodles and they were absolutely amazing. Staff was really friendly. Will definitely be coming back here.

Always enjoyed the food here until I found two pieces of long black hair in my pad see ew. This is the second time its happened. Whoever cooks the food definitely doesn't wear a hair net.

I ordered gkass noodles with shrimp and crabmeat there was only 3 shrimp and 3 pieces of crabmeat. They could have added more. I had to dig for the seafood. Not happy with this food. I hate that I had to give a star.

I had been craving Thai Bowl since I retired… how when I finally got some recently I was very disappointed! I think they must have been training the kids… noodle’s was mushy and the egg rolls were greasy, wanted to return!

This place has been around for at least 20 years. The food is pretty good and affordable. The lard nar is one of my favorites here. My family loves to come here when they visit

Been a customer for more than 10 yrs and for some reason their food has changed so much taste it’s not as authentic as before it really does taste like they’re skimping on some ingredients, and today they shrunk my order of crab Rangoon by 75% smh.

Absolutely best Pad Thai in Chicago. I'll admit the look of the place kept me from trying it the first 2 years I lived in the area but when I finally did I knew I'd keep coming back. They give you plenty of meat in whatever type of dish you choose and you will be feeling stuffed by the end.

Love the pad thai & shu mai! Consistently good food.

The food here is just okay. I found it to lack flavor and the quality just wasn’t all that great. It’s pretty average and kind of expensive for what you get. Don’t forget the prices are subject to change sign on the front door! My friends loved it but they lack the sophisticated palette that I have been so blessed with.

So happy I found this little hidden gem! Definitely my go to place for Thai. The food is always fresh and piping hot. So happy they stayed opened, and that they are still maintaining the social distance even after the reopening. The garden seating is so cute and quaint. The staff is very polite and helpful. And their delivery service is such a life saver!! Whether you take it to go, eat there or get it delivered, they got you covered! Highly Recommend you try it! Double thumbs up!!

Solid Thai food large portions and affordable food. In the warmer months the out door eating area is magical.

Good and affordable Thai food very close to campus. I had so many meals there when I was in school. I would recommend it in a heart beat.

This is my go to Thai restaurant around this area. I always do takeout. The interior is nothing fancy, but the food is really good. It differs from time to time based on which family member is cooking, but the variance is a good thing. The portions are big and the prices reasonable.

Best Thai place in the area! Excellent food that’s always high quality and just as you expect it, and they take really good care of vegetarian/allergic customers. Most anything can be made vegetarian and they even called me back to confirm allergens, ask if I eat egg and such. Sweet family owned place you can make your regular spot. Good portion sizes, no hidden up-charges, and I can always eat one dish for two meals. (Also, they are always wearing masks and being really COVID safe, nice patio to eat at outside in the summer)

Use to eat here when we lived in the area in 2003. Came back for take out and was as remembered. Very friendly and food was super tasty as it was then.

Thai bowl's is by far the BEST Thai place I have been to. No other places compare to their wide noodle pad see ew or chicken pad thai and the amazing flavor! Such a nice family business too. Definitely a go-to even Kanye West has been seen eating here by fellow UIC students since campus is close by.

I've eaten and enjoyed Thai Bowl's food for years—can't picture Taylor Street without it. Friendly service and respectable value.

The food is fine (7/10). I dined in alone and was surprised when the cashier lady forced me to put tip on the bill. I mean tip should be optional and can be either cash/card. It's not her business and she was a little rude honestly.

Decent food however they don't have brown rice anymore.

Crazy Noodles happens to be my first choice. The spicy red sauce has a sweet and fiery kick. Crab Rangoons pair well with just about anything for an appetizer. They are piping hot and fresh, during the week at lunch time, mm mmm. Take your friends here for a bite to eat. You shall enjoy a delicious Thai meal here.

An old favorite among my gaming cronies at UIC, this is one of your best choices for Thai cuisine on the near west side. Yes, the furniture might be plastic chairs and older wood tables. But did you come here to eat, or did you come here to ogle the furniture?

I love this place, its affordable, quick, tasty, and refreshing. Their pad thai with duck is legit (I've been to Thailand, its exactly like a good home-cooked meal from a friendly village in the outskirts of a friendly village). I do wish lime, more crushed peanuts, and more bean sprouts accompanied the pad thai though.

Pad Woonsen is the only dish I've tried there but I can vouch for it...it's really good! If you're not into spicy food, that's your dish right there. A hot sauce is provided for people who prefer living on the edge. My Muslim bros, sadly Pad Woonsen is the only dish you can have over there

I have been a customer for 18 years..this food is absolutely delicious!! The Asian ladies taking my orders are very respectful and sweet!! I would totally recommend this place if you want a food coma! P.s you should totally try the shrimp Pat tie , and the chicken fried rice..also the spring rolls are a must have!

We pass by this so many times and I'm so upset we haven't eaten here before! It's so delicious!! Even though they were closong soon, everything we ordered was made fresh! The peanut sauce for the chicken satay was incredible! We can't wait to try other dishes, we some how managed to eat most of our bowl and hit a pleasant food coma.

Amazing Thai food at a great price. I have been going here since my freshman year in college (2003). My go to dish is the Jade noodles; I have been unable to find a Thai dish with this unique flavor in any of the many other Thai restaurants I have been to. The only issue I have is that the price has recently gone up on most of their dishes, though it is still relatively cheap for a city restaurant.
