Absolutely love Thai Palms! The food, atmosphere, and the kindness! Flavors are created with fresh herbs and many of the dishes come with hand rolled vegetable spring rolls. Portion size is very generous (enough for two meals) and the prices are very reasonable. Thank you so much for making so many of my families birthday meals so memorable. Favorite dishes are Tom Kha Gai and of course Pad Thai!

Delicious food and friendly staff! We Googled Thai restaurants and found this gem!! We are 💯satisfied! I ordered take out and while I waited I was treated to a delicious aperitif made with a home made hibiscus syrup. The atmosphere in the restaurant is welcoming and cozy. We are visiting the area and cannot recommend Thai Palms enough!! Only one recommendation is create a more distinct sign we almost missed it as it didn't stand out. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and will be back when we are in the area.

Super flavorful and fresh! Our favorites are the Penaeng Curry and Pad Thai. They offer the option to add fried tofu as well!

The last time I visited this place was almost 5 years ago. Still as awesome as it was then. I had the Basil Thai chicken and my wife had the pad broccoli. Both meals were excellent.

We lucked out. Very slow service the evening we happened to go. Family with screaming kid nearby. Food was average. Flavor of red curry was fine. Ingredients just average.

Wonderful food! Had the Thai basil, Pad Thai, and red Curry with chicken. All were amazing. Medium spice is spicy (3 of 5 on heat). Restaurant had only a few tables but the food was fantastic. Full bar. Great service. Stop in and enjoy. You won't be disappointed.

CHANGE YOUR HOURS. YOU DONT CLOSE 9 IF YOU STOP TAKING ORDERS AT 8. Food is good but the open days already suck and are weird. Don’t ask for anything custom or spicy though because that’s like pulling teeth. I’m a local but I don’t think it’s worth the headache . Go check out Thai Lao.

Great fried rice and Tom yum soup. Panang curry was not good seems panang curry was all carrot no bamboos. Same panang curry tasted awesome when I re-ate at home after adding little bit water onto it

Thai Palms is hands down THE BEST and most authentic Thai food that I have tried anywhere around the Grand Strand. I have traveled to Thailand three times because I love Thai food and it is a beautiful country. The family is from Bangkok and the mom cooks and the daughter is the server. The food never disappoints. I would suggest trying mild FIRST because even the mild is pretty spicy to most pallates. The atmosphere is small, warm, and relaxing small restaurant with Thai decor and warm lighting. All five of us ordered "mild" level of spice. We got the Chicken Satay app and spring rolls to start. I had the Tom Kha Gai which is a chicken, mushroom, and coconut soup with lots of cilantro and it was amazing! My boyfriend got the red massaman curry, which he said was delicious and also had some heat. The kids got fried rice, Pad See Ew, and drunken noodles. These dishes are all large enough to share with the family so you can try a little bit of everything. I wish that they would consider carrying High Noon Seltzers (Peach flavor especially). They do carry Singha Thai beer if you want to try! Also, they have HUGE portions so we all brought home lots of leftovers. We will certainly be coming back as this is our family favorite Thai Restaurant in Myrtle Beach and surrounding areas.

I can't believe I've passed this place for years without stopping. The food was absolutely delicious and so flavorful. Such a friendly lady who served us as well. A hidden gem in plain sight.

This small, quiet restaurant had the best Beef Panang Curry I've ever eaten. And, I've eaten a lot of curries. We always make sure we find a Thai restaurant whenever we travel so finding this in Myrtle Beach was wonderful. It was soooo good!!. Nothing should taste this good. If you love Thai, try out this restaurant. Mama is in the kitchen cooking.

I had a terrific dinner with five of my friends this past Wednesday evening. Everyone one in the group thought this was one of the best Thai meals they had ever eaten. We had four different entrees; all were attractively presented and excellent. The women who waited on our table was very pleasant and most patient as we stumbled through the menu. At one point, she mentioned that her mother was in the kitchen doing the cooking. Our group will return next year when we are back in MB. P.S. Excellent selection of beers.

Really nice place. Unfortunately they are seriously understaffed. Our very nice waitress was the only one working on Wednesday evening. She was great, but she was very busy trying to take care of about 20-25 customers plus carry out, so service was a little slow. No harm, no foul. We completely understood. The menu is decent. Mostly Thai standards. Chicken Satay was excellent and the little sauces were some of the best. The heat was perfect. Garden rolls were somewhat bland, but definitely fresh. The Chicken Panang was very tasty and I would order it again. The Shrimp Pad Thai was a little different; it was full of veggies and was made of large noodles, not the usual thin rice noodles. I asked for spicy and got mild. Otherwise Thai Palms gets an A for effort.

I tried to order carryout one night I call at 5:00 they told me the next carryout order would not be till 6:30 that is kind of ridiculous but the food is very good maybe they should get more Cooks in the kitchen to handle the carry out

I went here with my dad, service was great, we ordered pad thai and spicy beef salad (which wasn’t on the menu). Food was so good, great even, definitely coming again

The food was absolute fire! 10/10 would recommend. The best Thai food I've had.....maybe ever. Even the presentation in the to-go box (as I ordered my food to-go) was amazing. The peanut sauce on the pad Thai was sooooo on point. Check this place out. Really. It's completely worth it.

We had no problem finding this wonderful Thai restaurant. We were quickly seated and given our drink choices. Our food arrived hot and spicy...just as ordered. We ordered the Coconut lemongrass mushroom soup with rice. Excellent, excellent! Our drunken noodles ...not so much. They tasted as if the noodles had been left over from the previous day and just reheated. We just won't order those again. But we will return for the soup. Excellent.!

The food was just OK. The menu for both the drunken noodles and Thai fried rice stated a fried egg was included but there was none in either dish. The chicken in both dishes was rubbery and overcooked.

Nice little Thai restaurant, large servings and friendly staff

We’ve been eating here 1-2 times per month since March 2023. Every time I eat here I have a new favorite dish. From the Thai tea to the spring rolls, fresh garden rolls, pad see ew, Thai basil stir fry, panaeng curry everything is awesome! Patricia is delightful and this is by far one of my favorite restaurants.

They have some of the best Thai I've ever had. I wish they were open more often, sometimes they leave early even if it's a Saturday and I miss out on their awesome food. I try to eat here as much as possible when I can catch them open. Their Red Curry is my favorite thing their and Medium is perfectly spicy. They allowed me to custom order it as well which is a really big deal to me.

I ordered the Pad See Ew. It comes with spring rolls, which despite sitting in my car for 15min on the drive home, were some of the best I’ve ever had. The dish was very good too! I ordered mild, and I’m glad I did because it was still a tad spicy.

We reached this place at 830pm and were a little skeptical if we would get food as it closes at 9 and the place was empty. The owner was very courteous and welcomed us with a big smile. We ordered papaya salad, pad Thai and red curry. Wow!! Wow!! Wow!! This was Thai food that I have never tasted before and one of the best red curries I’ve had in my last fifteen years. I’m visiting this place every-time I come to Myrtle beach. I only took a pic of the papaya salad which was also very good. We ordered medium spicy and was perfect for my palate. Ty Thai Palms for jump starting my Myrtle trip on a positive note.

Most delicious Thai food that my husband, son & I had!!! We had crab cheese wontons, spring rolls, pad Thai, pad see ew & drunken noodles. All amazing!!!

The Pad Thai Chicken was very good, mild heat. The Chicken Satay as well as the Thai Fried Chicken were both delicious.

Los clientes habituales locales llegaron poco después que nosotros. Las instalaciones son básicas pero están en buenas condiciones, limpias. Aunque el menú no es extenso, había varias buenas opciones. Cuando hicimos nuestro pedido, nos preguntaron qué tan picante nos gustaría nuestra comida. Nuestra camarera se tomó el tiempo para explicar los niveles de especias y cómo podrían ajustar el sabor picante de nuestras comidas. Mi esposa eligió tener las especias en el costado, lo cual fue una buena opción porque su comida tenía un poco de sabor sin agregar ninguna especia adicional. A los dos nos pareció que nuestras comidas eran deliciosas y que las porciones eran perfectas. ¡Muy recomendable! Planeamos regresar a este gran restaurante familiar en nuestra próxima visita a Myrtle Beach.

Don't judge this place by the outside I must have come on a bad night or is just a hidden gem. Service was very good but I was also the only person there I got my food very quick and concerning what I got the prices were good

Great little off the beaten path Thai restaurant that is my favorite. I am a local and only wish they were open for lunch. Limited hours 5-9 pm Tue-Sat. The food is really authentic and tasty and made to order. Not much on decor but it has enough seating and is quaint and quiet. Family run and very friendly and will adjust the spice levels on request. I love the veggie spring rolls and Pad Ke Mow. A local favorite.

One of my favorite Thai restaurant! ❤️ Their Beef Larb!!

This was our first visit. They have a broad menu with lots of appetizers and entrees. Entrees include a choice of chicken, beef or shrimp, some with just veggies, most with steamed or fried rice. Some include curry. Food delivery was slow, but to be honest, it's because the food is not pre-prepared, it's cooked after you order it. It was worth the wait. Not much selection of beverages, but the draw is clearly the food. All in all, if you want fresh, hot (temp. or spicy) thai food that's inexpensive and can handle a beer or a glass of water, you'll love this place. A hole in the wall, in a good way.

We have eaten at Thai Palms several times and the food is usually excellent. I tried the Green Curry Chicken but didn't like it. It seemed to have a strong "flowery" flavor. My wife had the beef and broccoli and it was very good. We will go back but I won't order the Green Curry Chicken.

Delicious Thai food at reasonable prices. Friendly wait-staff. Food is cooked to order, so expect a relaxed meal. Watch out for the extra-spicy; it is fire!

My first time to their restaurant. It is a quaint little place. The food was above average. I tried a few different items. I wish their coconut milk soup came in a small. I would recommend this restaurant. I had thai hot pad thai, sticky rice summer rolls.

Traditional Thai food made fresh, great service

About 6 weeks ago I ate the best meal I have ever had, no kidding..It was the Thai Basil Shrimp dinner with rice.. The freshness of this meal, lingered in mouth for about one hour after I finished eating... fresh is one thing they stress about the food they serve. I can tell you it is fresh. They cook your meal when you order it and bring it out when it is ready, not put under a heat lamp until the entire table's order has been cooked... The meal was sooooooo good, I have been back at least once every week and sometime two times. The owner's daughter was a delight to be around. I'll be going this afternoon as the Holiday will be too busy for me to drive to Socastee, even tho the drive from Murrells Inlet would be worth it...Love this place.. Please try, you will not be disappointed......

The food and service were excellent. Restaurant is not fancy but is very clean and quiet. The Drunken Noodle, Garden Spring Rolls, and Thai Basil Stir Fry were all excellent. The menu is somewhat limited but not bad. Prices are very reasonable.

Great Thai food for a very reasonable price. True Thai spicing, so be careful if you want it spicy; they will oblige! Would recommend Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and the Drunken noodles. All have options to add protein; chicken, beef, shrimp. I preferred the vegetable spring rolls over the beef. They have both. Only open evenings, and for a very limited time (5p-9p). Closed on Sunday and Monday. Restaurant dining is no frills, bare bones décor. We did take out. Will certainly keep this as a first choice when looking to get some very good, very reasonably priced Thai food to go.

We had dinner at Thai Palm and we were skeptical at first but we must say we were very impressed...we ordered Pad Thai, Shrimp Tempura and spring rolls vegetable and beef....very flavorful, tastes authentic and will recommend to many friends , also very friendly service. We will be eating there regularly.

Glad to know I have a new go-to Thai restaurant in the area! It's a small but decent restaurant, great food, great service. Everything starting with the spring roll, tom yum soup, to the main dishes were delish!!

Fantastic experience, we had appetizers and entrees and all were very fresh and very hot, heat wise. the spice factor was exactly as described by out server. that is to say pretty spicy but not too spicy. Both dishes we had were exceptional, with a curry coconut broth on one and peanut flavoring on the other. Serving size is generous, and the prices are reasonable. Will definitely be back to go through the rest of the menu.

Best Thai food in the area. Worst location parking lot... Been to every Thai place to open in the last 10 years... This place is still the best... They make it to order... Fresh... You will have to wait.... But it's worth it.

Food was wonderful, long wait time however. This place is best for business meetings and long date nights. Atmosphere is cozy. Would easily be 5 stars outside of the wait , but it may be because the food is good and is popular in the area.

Great fresh made foods full of flavor, great service.

It's not on the main road, but worth the drive from Myrtle Beach. The restaurant wasn't much on decor or ambiance, but there is plenty of seating and it was quiet and peaceful. Service was good and the waitress was attentive. She didn't make many recommendations other than the cook though that the ingredients listed were thought to be the best combinations by the chef. The food arrived without fanfare or design, but great flavor. Hot means hot mild means mild. I added extra cayenne and was satisfied with the heat. We tried the Garden Rolls, which were fresh and had crunchy vegetables with 3 different sauces all tasty. The Tom Kha soup had good coconut taste and had plenty of tender chicken. With the added rice it was like an entree of it's own. The Basil shrimp had a bit too much soy sauce, but when you added the rice was delicious, The shrimp were fresh and chewable, I only wish they had a wider variety of desserts, I'm not a fan of fried bananas, Some of the locals were eating there and felt that it was the best Thai in the area and come frequently. Medium price range.

This small, family run restaurant has incredible food! Everything is prepared fresh as you order it, which takes a little longer but is well worth the wait. Serving staff are attentive and friendly, atmosphere is very intimate. My wife and I frequent this restaurant as often as possible.

I've eaten here several times. Every single time i am impressed on how awesome their food is. I've pretty much tried it all and you can't go wrong. I usually call ahead, since they only have 1 cook, but she is golden. My fav. Headed there now.
