Decent food, excellent view unless you sit at the other side of the table (then no view), and basic service. You could tell they knew grat was included.

Fantastic 5 star dining experience. From the Oyster Rockefeller to the grouper and filet, you can't go wrong. Also, make sure not to miss the Mac n cheese as your side. Our waitress was top notch and the executive chef delivered our entrees to the table himself. Can't forget to mention the spectacular view of the 18th green on the famous Ocean course. This is a must stop if you're staying on or off the island and looking for a high end dinner experience.

Odd experience... Completely unexpected and below par. Big disappointment. My son and his girlfriend got sick after dinner that affected them until morning and we had to miss our morning golf reservation due to this experience. Shrimp & Grits and the she crab soup were the culprit of my son and his girlfriend's health demise. My catch of the day under par. Just strange, off, off-putting experience. My son complained about the sour shrimp & grits as there also were pieces of shrimp shell in the dish that he choked on...his meal was taken off the bill but that's not the point... Bottom Line: dining experience during and after were below standard for the venue. Some experiences can't be rectified...this perhaps was one...and totally not in keeping with the excellence one expects of the Kiawah Island Resort.

Soup was overpriced and disappointing. Good salad, but bolognese lacks flavor. Also, veggies need some improvement and need more options. Excellent service

Executive Chef Ondo was so kind and friendly to our table. What an inviting experience he provided. Our server Rodney didn’t seem emotionally invested while hosting our table but no problems with the food. The Atlantic Room is deserving of five stars.

Great dinner and service with beautiful views

My wife and I dined here on our Kiawah vacation. We started with tomato and peaches with Burrata. Adding the peaches to this dish makes it a different flavor but still very good. My wife had the shrimp and grits and it was the best she has ever had. The sauce was not thick and had a wonderful flavor. I had the fish of the day, golden tile, with summer beans, corn bisque, peppers, etc. it was a wonderful fish dish. The service was solid and the views are nice since the restaurant is at the Ocean Course.

Beautiful dining room with sweeping views of the Kiawah island golf course and ocean! However the food is lacking. It would be great if soy was omitted from many of the dishes as soy is a common allergy.

I Several girlfriends and I were lucky enough to spend the weekend on Kiawah island and dined at the We were greeted by a very prickly waitress who seemed rushed and uninterested . Two other ladies ended up getting the substitute fish that was guaranteed from the waitress that is was just as good as the grouper. It overcooked to the point that the fish was charred on the ends. It was bland and lacked flavor and any creativity as far as presentation and flavor profiles. The best part of the meal was the bread and butter. To make the evening even worse the waitress was argumentative and actually used the phrase “ we have never had complaints with the food” when I tried to give her some feedback. I have been vacationing on the islands of Kiawah and Seabrook for over 23 years and this was the worse experience I’ve ever had. I spent Thanksgiving here ..all i can say is ..WOW it was a buffet of amazing delicious foods. From turkey to oysters. All of the sides. When we arrived, we walked past a depressing looking bar room- not inviting at all. Then we were seated promptly and the dining room smelled of fish- yes it's a fish restaurant , but smelled like fish in a bad way. The best thing about this restaurant is the view!! It is a 5 star view. Having dinner here is cheaper than a round on the Ocean Course but a great way to see the course! It's right at the 18th hole so if you get an early dinner you'll enjoy sewing golfers finish out their round. I recommend if you're staying on the Island to have a dinner here! Giving 5 stars because it doesn't compare to other restaurants I've been to in the same price point. There was a lack of attention to detail and the menu options were a bit lack-luster. Our outdoor seating reservations were not honored, although there were tables available. We were not even allowed to sit outside and order from the bar menu. The hostess was outright rude and nasty. My wife and I took our two kids to this restaurant with high hopes while on vacation. And first we tried to sit on the patio because the temperature was freezing cold in the restaurant. The views while dining are beautiful and we experienced a very gorgeous sunset. This was probably the only strong positive of our entire dinner experience. Well, actually the crispy shrimp appetizer was fair as well. I ordered the Bouillabaisse seafood dish with great expectations that this would be their best seafood dish as it was priced at $56. The seafood menu was actually quite limited and there was no crab legs, scallops, or lobster offered. I sincerely think the chef cooked up seafood and put it in Campbell’s tomato soup with a few chopped onions. Everything else was average. I also ordered the mussels appetizer and the mussels were quite small and a pesto sauce that was not that impressive. Two small pieces of bread were served with the mussels, which would’ve been disappointing if the sauce was good enough to actually want to dip the bread into. My wife ordered the spinach with garlic as a side and it had little flavor as well as it was very bland. Our server was nice enough and tried to attend to us well although at times she seem to disappear. Overall, I would be very reluctant to return and pay these kind of prices for this quality of food. I happen to love ciaopino and bouillabaisse so the Seafood Stew seemed a natural choice. It was a wise decision. This was as tasty and properly prepared and presented as any such meal I have had anywhere. Exceptionally highly recommended. We are returning to the Island at the end of the month. This meal makes that prospect doubly attractive.

Absolutely incredible place. Between the mind blowing food that will never stop surprising you, to the amazing staff that works day in and out to run an incredible establishment. YOU CANT GO WRONG!
