I wanted to love the cake I ordered for my son’s birthday.. but it was so small I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry? When I placed the order I said I needed a cake for 10 people. The lady said the small size would be fine. It was $55. I figured that’s average, compared to what cakes I’ve ordered at other bakeries. This cake is smaller than my hand. I asked for a ninja turtle theme and I’m not sure what to think.. I’m just bummed I spent $55 on what would technically be a 1 year old’s smash cake.

Amber went above an beyond for my request for a Mermaid themed cake and cupcakes. I about cried when I saw the cake. We also had a guest with dietary restrictions, and Baking Flamingos was able to accommodate. We’ve definitely found our hometown bakers.

I can’t say enough amazing things about Baking Flamingos! I’ve loved their cupcakes since they opened, and we recently ordered a Rudolph-themed small round cake for a December birthday. Not only did they squeeze me in last minute (thank you!) but the cake itself was absolutely gorgeous and tasted divine. Super moist with the most to die for buttercream frosting. We couldn’t eat it fast enough. Thank you all again!

Because of suggestions on Omaha Food Lovers I stopped on my trip to Omaha looking for GF Sweets. Very small case with 2 different items. Late in the day of course. I got 2. GF Brownies (very dry)and a couple of six packs of mini cupcakes at 50% off. $29.00 I was a bit shocked for mini cupcakes in a six pack where rang up by favor and at 50% off. The young lady implied one price but the gentlemen that push her off the cash register said something totally different. Double check prices before you touch them.

This place is incredible!!! My brother was very specific on what cupcakes he wanted for his birthday and I had seen so many rave reviews on here for TBF that I knew I wanted to try them out. I bought his cupcakes but also bought butter brown chocolate chip cookies and regular chocolate chip cookies, and holy moly!!!! Everything tasted out of this world!!! I highly recommend them if you haven’t been out that way yet! The bakery is also very clean and cute, and the customer service is phenomenal- I was waited on the owner and she was so kind and patient with my indecisiveness. 10/10! 🖤. Thank you to this group for all the recommendations on them!

If you are Gluten Free, this is the place to go for baked goods. They continue to add more and more GF items to their menu and all that I have tried are amazing - coffee cake, cinnamon roles, and cupcakes. Everything is moist, tasty and delicious. A lot of GF foods are dry or have an after taste. Just today I tried a GF cupcake from another local bakery and it did not even compare. The food from Baking Flamingos is top notch! I have chatted with the owner and she was very friendly and let me know that all their GF items are made in a separate area of the kitchen so that there is no cross contamination. I appreciate that diligence and attention to detail. My birthday is next week and I plan to stop by for a treat! :)

I ordered a cake for a graduation. I gave this review 4 stars because of the amazing taste. However, I did not realize a gluten free cake, ?the size of a 1 year old smash cake )was going to be $50. I was very disappointed with the up-charge for being gluten free. Great taste, up charge will keep me away. Sorry, I’m gluten free NOT by choice.

My wife was thrilled with the cake(s) for her daughter’s birthday. “Too pretty to eat” was what most of our guests exclaimed. We did end up devouring it - and it was a very tasty dessert. Champagne cake topped with fresh flowers (yes, those are real) fresh fruit and macarons. Highly recommend!

The cake they created for our daughter's third birthday was not only beautiful but also perfectly executed in line with the theme. It's great when a cake can both look amazing and taste delicious, making the celebration even more special. Our family will definitely be back in the future.

Super friendly service, the decor is cute and the pastries are amazing. The ham and cheese croissant is my favorite and my dog loves the dog treats they sell.

I went for a wedding cake tasting, and the options were laid out beautifully with so many different combinations to try. I tried all gluten free options, which were amazing. They were the best I have tried in the area and it was not a hard decision to go with them for all my wedding treats.

Baking Flamingos made two cakes for our June 2023 wedding--espresso with vanilla frosting and a white cake with strawberry frosting. Both were so delicious and they looked beautiful. We received many compliments from our guests. I sent Baking Flamingos a couple of inspiration pictures and told them to use their creativity to incorporate them all into the cakes. They captured my vision perfectly and with little direction. They provided delivery to my reception venue. The cake tasting experience was amazing. They provided us with essentially a charcuterie board of cakes and frostings and gave us time in-store to sample them all and make decisions. Then, we also received a mini cake to take home and sample. This was all before even booking with them. We were blown away. We had done a few other cake tastings and this was by far the best experience. Baking Flamingos provides clients with a free mini cake for your one-year anniversary. I can't wait to go back and get our anniversary cake (and a ton of other baked goods over this next year!) I cannot recommend Baking Flamingos enough!

Ordered a cake, mini-cup cakes, pretzel sticks, and cookies for a graduation party for my son and his friend. Everything was amazing! The staff helped us determine how much to order for the party based upon the number of possible guests and the estimations were spot on. We left the party with just a handful of extras. More importantly, we heard numerous times how excellent everything was and it was. Thank you!

(Sorry for taking your photos) but The Baking Flamingos did my wedding and IT WAS AMAZING!!! I felt so fancy with these made from scratch cupcakes. I could eat these for days. From the tasting to the hassle-free delivery, I couldn’t recommend this business more!!! No request was too demanding and the design was perfect. Did I say FROM SCRATCH???

This place is delicious! Everything there looks and tastes amazing. The staff was friendly and they keep the interior nice and clean. I was very impressed with this bakery and I highly recommend it for anybody. Who’s looking for a snack, treats to bring into the workplace, and they even do catering. 5/5

The red velvet cupcakes are AMAZING!

Staff were friendly and helpful, but not a fan of the product. Cupcakes were ok, and the cookies were like round bricks with no taste. Cookies were dry and crumbled apart before I got to bite it. The cinnamon roll was the shining star and I’ll definitely be back for another one of those.

Absolutely amazing! We booked a cake tasting for our wedding, and Amber let us try a TON of combinations to help us nail down exactly what we want. And she sent us home with a FREE mini wedding cake, four cupcakes, and two flamingo champagne glasses. The cupcakes & wedding cake were freaking incredible. Definitely recommend for any brides & grooms - she made the process super easy!!

I have to thank Amber for the absolutely AMAZING cake and cupcakes she made for my daughter’s 9th birthday party! We had a cat theme and the details she included were BEYOND! She is great to work with, she is super fast to respond and prices are great! The flavors she offers are so good it was hard for us to choose! I found The Baking Flamingos because she is opening up a storefront at 168th and Harrison! So keep an eye out! I am so excited to go there on the reg! (I also wish I could figure out how to add pictures bc I NEED to show her amazing work!) Edit: I added pics!
