Shout out to Elizabeth who was absolutely amazing at checking in with us and making our first trip here as good as it could have been. She was the BEST. The food was above and beyond anything we have eaten in the state in over 2 years.

We can't say enough about Belvedere! This was our second visit, and everything was spot on. Drinks at the bar before dinner were great. We dined out on the rooftop. The staff was fantastic, and the food cooked to perfection!!!

Delicious meal, very nice service, overall was a lovely experience for my husband’s birthday meal. Loved the personalized welcome from the staff! Highly recommend • scallop entree, duck breast entree, crème brulee Live music was just getting started as we were leaving and we were really happy it wasn’t throughout our meal as it was so loud we couldn’t hear one another! Other tables around us were very obviously having the same frustration - so we felt blessed to have an early reservation to enjoy our meal with wonderful conversation 🥰

Interesting place. From the moment you enter you feel "taken care of". The atmosphere is like a gala dinner, dim light at the tables. Interesting food, large portions. The duck dish was great. Very good drinks. Prices quite high.

The Belvedere is such a cool place with great service, food, and drinks. Don't miss the Belvie Bread or espresso martini.

We ate at the bar since there wasn't a table free, and we didn’t make a reservation. The bar staff was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, but the entrees took a long time to come. The appetizers came out almost immediately. The restaurant was not too loud, but the bar got very dark after sunset. The bar is fully stocked, but the cocktail menu was very short, and there are a variety of unusual liquors available.

The Belvedere Inn provided us the perfect evening to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. The drinks and food were absolutely amazing. The service was top notch. Everyone was knowledgeable about the food and drinks. The atmosphere is classy but chill (unless you're at the downstairs bar around happy hour... that can be high energy). We will definitely be back!

Every thing was great until the entre arrived. I got the veal special and it tasted good, but it was very tough and chewy. I didn’t want to make a scene with our friends, but when the waiter asked how everything was I mentioned that the veal was very chewy and tough. I was told that I could cut it with a fork. No so. He did ask if he could do something, but I didn’t think he could make my entre any better. Don’t get the veal.

Atmosphere was absolutely cozy and swanky and the food was absolutely fabulous!!! Chef truly knows what he is doing for sure and is throwing down in that kitchen!!! Suggested to our waiter that chef might also consider ox tails and bone-in short ribs as other menu options the exact way he did the short ribs my husband and I got. Our waiter was just the best. He was attentive, informative and his dessert recommendation was so superb that the next time we will start with dessert and work our way backwards through the entire meal. Was just an overall memorable, blessed visit to Lancaster. Will always make The Belvedere Inn our only dinner choice when we are in Lancaster. The Belvedere Inn is an Exemplary Dining Experience!!!!!

I used to love this place when I’d visit my family. I don’t love it anymore.

Brought my husband here for a Birthday dinner and to try a different restaurant. Upon walking in it has a very inviting feeling and the gentleman that took us to our table was very nice even showed us where the bathrooms were which I loved so you don't have to search or ask later. Our waitress was amazing as well great service altogether. Food was beyond amazing, we got the crab dip which was very rich and creamy with the perfect amount of crackers. My husband got the swordfish he said he would get it again it was a good choice, and I got the duck which was also very good and would recommend. Everything was very flavorful as well. I'm glad I decided to check this place out it's definitely on the fancier more expensive side but we will definitely be back.

Outstanding mixture of culinary flavors. Service was busy I would have enjoyed more time there but we had concert tickets. Will go there again. I was very impressed.

We really enjoyed our visit. Every dish we had was fabulous. We had the Mozzarella Arancini as an appetizer. Hubby had lobster bisque, halibut with grits and black-eyed peas (feature item), and cherry pistachio tarte. I had the beet salad (half-size), braised short rib (SO tender and flavorful) with Mac N Cheese and asparagus, and the chocolate hazelnut rocher for dessert (great way to finish).

What a great evening in one of our favorite spots! And when the chef offers something a little out of the ordinary as a special, go for it. Amazing flavors and combinations, great bar, service is spot on.

Wonderful anniversary dinner at our favorite spot in Lancaster, The Belvedere. Starters of a Greek Salad with little gem lettuce, pickled onion, feta, roasted peppers, fried walnuts in lemon caper vinaigrette; and a grilled romaine Caesar salad. Mains of halibut with roasted zucchini, bacon gnocchi, baby corn, pickled blackberries and a dill sauce; and Duck breast with fondant potatoes, seared foie gras, braised greens with duck confit, fried pistachio and cherry jus. Dessert of chocolate hazelnut Rocher. The service is great and we love the vibe on the second floor with the live jazz. Special thanks to John Costanzo and all those FOH and BOH who made the evening great. Belvedere is an absolute MUST in Lancaster.

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Lancaster city. An absolute must. I personally always get the same thing that. Belvie bread and a grilled Caesar salad. Never misses. But honestly everything is good. I always try my friends food lol. But yes.. 10/10 recommend.

This was our first time here and the food, staff, and atmosphere was excellent. I had a great veal special and my wife had a filet that was cooked perfectly. Would definitely recommend trying this dining gem.

Food and drinks were subpar based upon price and expectations from the reviews. But the atsmophere was really charming and the tables felt private.

Came here before a show at the Lancaster American Theatre and boy was I blown away. Right when you walk in this place provides comfort. The lighting was perfect for a calming dinner. I got a special cocktail which was well balanced. We had the lobster dip for an appetizer and that was so creamy. I got the crispy duck breast for my entree and it was amazing. To end our dinner we had the cherry pistachio tart and that was so delicious, it was not too sweet and it was so flavorful. The wait staff were very friendly and made the dinner even more memorable.

We've eaten at the Belvedere on many visits to Lancaster. We were back for the first time in a while this week and had a great experience. We had the mussels and a burrata special for appetizers and the duck and salmon for entrees. All were excellent. I found the salmon to be a pleasant surprise based on how often restaurants usually overcook it -- they did it perfectly here. The entrees aren't enormous here, but that meant we had room for dessert, a Ferrero-Rocher inspired concoction that was awesome. Pacing of the meal was just right. Can't wait for next time.

The Chefs here love what they do! you can tell they have passion it comes thru in the flavors and presentation of the food. My go to spot for a perfect dinner in Lancaster.

My wife and I went to The Belvedere for our anniversary. From the moment we walked through the door, to the greeting at our table, to the food that we ordered it was spectacular! The Belvedere made our 20th anniversary special and we will definitely return!

A joy eating together here. Use the N. Queen Street Garage. Bar could be larger, but the food is a true credit to Lancaster. A place not to miss!!!

The hostess did very well, the waitress also did very well, but the food was so salty we had great difficulty eating any of it!

We went for our anniversary, the staff called ahead to have spelling for my wife's name, and had a card on the table for us when we arrived. The waiter was exceptional as was the food and drink. Only small complaint would be my scallops were a bit salty, otherwise it was an incredible meal with an exceptional staff. Thy hold themselves to the highest of standards.

I attended a business dinner here last month and it was one of the best meals I have had in the County in years. It had been a while since I’d been here and our server, Elizabeth, aka Lizard, was unbelievably good. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Sh focused on each of the 5 members of our part, ensuring we were well hydrated and that our meals were prepared to our liking. I was amazed that she didn’t write a single one of our orders down and yet she correctly ordered, served and delighted each of us with her service. The meal was great and the chef prepared my Strip Steak perfectly. I topped off the dinner with a yummy serving of the Chocolate and Peanut Butter Bread Pudding…wow!

The service and atmosphere is across the board outstanding. Dinner was paced well. We got our appetizer and drinks, were not rushed at all to order entrees. My wife had the seared Caesar and I the scallops. Overall, everything was very good. I chose four stars instead of five because of the general over salted nature of everything. The scallop dish included bacon and rainbow chard. The scallops should have had minimal seasoning. Instead the salt took them over. I would definitely return, but this is just my recommendation to the chefs.

Food and service was great which is important my only complaint is for the price I'm paying I don't wanna be within elbow space of the next table I'm a bit guy felt a little squeezed in. But nonetheless food was great.

The consistency of service and food quality is unmatched- you will never have a bad meal or experience ever. came here for our Wedding Anniversary, food and service was great. However, someone decided to bring their child to this restaurant and the entire time we listen to this child cry and sometimes scream. I was very upset, and we chose to eat our meal and leave. I didn't know this fine dining experience was kid friendly. We now have second thoughts about ever returning after this.

Love the Belvedere. It's an iconic restaurant in Lancaster city. I wish it was open for lunch - their grilled Caesar salad is amazing over conversation with colleagues or clients. Completely unique style from top to bottom. Definitely dig the black accents. Most of the food is excellent. We've gotten a few things we didn't love, but their standards are high.

Happy Hour here was extremely worth it. Not many options but they were all tasty. The muscles were the most delicious thing on their menu in my opinion. Their pork belly was really nice and tender - they also have a really good espresso martini. The servers were very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Although there was not much eating room for plates at the bar, the servers were very helpful with removing empty dishes and making sure the food was okay. Will definitely be coming back.

Amazing meal- crispy calamari was incredible… gluten free was a bonus. Atmosphere superb- patio seating with beautiful lush plantings. Food first rate you’d think you were in Manhattan - steaks exceptional Demi- glaze magnificent… and the service was just the mic-drop- ask for Jimmy he’s the consummate professional… upscale dining is here y’all right here in Lancaster!

The Belvedere Inn was up the street from our Airbnb and I'm so glad that it was! We popped in for drinks and appetizers before the dinner rush and had a great time hanging out at the bar upstairs. I loved the dark, vampy vibe. Good vegetarian options, but the entrees could use a little more for vegetarians. We had the belvie bread and the grilled Caesar salad, would totally get it again.

I was here a few years ago and the food was great. This time we were very disappointed. My drink I ordered was terrible. We ordered lobster bisque which in my opinion should at least have some lobster meat in it which it did not. Tasted like watered down tomato soup. Our entrées were ok. I see others giving different reviews but in my opinion not worth the $$$

The food and service were great. But we won’t be back. The noise level was outrageous. Seated next to a table of 5 screaming young women was far too much to bear. Sorry Belvedere. It was all too much.

We ate here on a Saturday before our Sight & Sound Show. The dinner was expensive and the food was fine. I expected a bit more flavor for the price but overall was good.

We had my son’s graduation from F&M there. The atmosphere was great, everyone was friendly. Out waitress Olivia was very attentive. We enjoyed the food, drinks and dessert. I had the duck, others had the chicken dish and raved about it. Definitely worth it!

Had reservations that were lost somehow but they made room for us at the bar. The bar had the full menu and I wanted something off the menu and the bartender, and she got it for me. I Also asked for some changes due to eating issue, and that was done as well It's a bit loud but hey that's the bar..love this place

Food was excellent. Atmosphere was neat. Service was great. This was my first time here with my family and everyone seemed to like their choices. One of our family has been there before and said it was their favorite and that they rotate the menu pretty frequently. Right now at this moment, a number of the options have French inspiration (confit and cassoulet for examples). I'd definitely recommend it and would eat there again.

The Belvedere is a lush experience, beginning to end. Wonderful signature cocktails and deserts. I had the cod fish special tonight, and it was absolutely transcendent. I'm from the deep south, and the flavors reminded me of the church cook outs and family holidays, while staying elevated in style and substance. It felt indulgent but approachable at once. And yes, the grilled Ceasar is everything it's hyped up to be! Can't wait to come back.

This was our first visit and a last minute idea to go to belvedere for dinner. Our food was delicious. We had the lobster crab dip, lobster bisque, swordfish and salmon . We were very happy with our choices. Our server was friendly, attentive and extremely pleasant along with the host and hostess. It was our anniversary and a card congratulating us was placed on our table for when we arrived. We were very pleased with the whole experience and will come back.

And Jimmy was our waiter again, haha, and took good care of us as he did in November. We’ll be back in the summer! Nov 2023: Been coming here for 9 years, from Maryland, about twice per year. Always very good! Tonight, Jimmy was our waiter and was excellent- he let us take our time and made sure that the main course did not crowd the appetizers

Olivia was our server. Extremely friendly, helpful, and GENUINE. It was our first time dining there. Food was exquisite and prepared to our liking. Atmosphere was amazing. Lots of people in restaurant but noise level was low. Great music. Can't say enough good things, and my husband and I are very critical when trying new places.

Have dined at the Belvedere quite a few times over the years. Always enjoyed it, always reserved for special occasions. But looking back, it has always been with a larger party, 5-8 people. This time, for the first time, we just had four diners. Understandably, we were given a table for four. Well, let me tell you, it was the smallest table for four that I have ever dined on. It was so small that I could not save some of my petite grilled Caesar salad-delicious by the way-for when my entree came. There just wasn’t room on the table for an any extra side dishes. It’s that tight, it’s that crammed. So be forewarned if you have a party of four. Tell them you need a table for five or six. We will do this in the future if we have four again. A BIG faux pas for such a fine restaurant.

The food was ok... for the price point I was expecting more. I didn't like I can't choose my sides. The desert tasted store bought. Again at the price point I don't want to feel like my food came out of a box and was put on a plate. I would like to feel it was prepared at the restaurant. Wasn't liking to have to go up and down a lot of steps as well. So wear comfy shoes and only have 1 drink you don't want to over do it and then have to go down stairs.

We went here for my birthday, and it was absolutely horrible. No handicap parking, we were in a tight corner, food was disgusting, wait service was nice, however, they were very annoying ,one of the waiters even smelled bad 😷 The food portions were great, and all of the food was presented very nicely, however, I stated above it was just disgusting, dry, some of it was under cooked, and some of it was undercooked, NOT SEASONED THAT ALL, and it all tasted as though it was warmed up in the microwave. The restaurant was very nice and clean on the inside, and we were treated good while there, however, The Belvedere has horrible food.

As always absolutely amazing... From the staff that greeted us at the front door to the staff that removed plates from our table I must say everyone was top notch. Our server Lindsay was absolutely amazing she took the time to make sure we were never in need of anything, she careful explained all of the specials giving us a detailed description from each part of the meal. She made the evening special for my inlaws who joined us to celebrate their wedding anniversary of 55 years. She will requested when we dine at the Belvedere Inn in the future

My daughter took me to The Belvedere Inn for my birthday. I really enjoyed my experience here. The food was phenomenal! The taste, and the presentation of the food was great! We had the crab and lobster dip and the Belvie bread to start. Then we had the Belvie bread. Then we had the petite grilled Cesar salad with their own homemade Cesar dressing. For the main course we had the braised Short rib which was served on top of grits with fontina cheese, there was gravy over the braised Short rib. There was a side of oven roasted brussel sprouts and apple mostards! Oh it was a party going on in my mouth! The braised Short rib was so tender you hardly had to chew it! The grits were creamy and flavorful! The brussel sprouts were a little crispy with a hint of sweetness, they we're so delicious and I am not a big brussel sprout fan but these brussel sprouts were the exception, so good you want more. The wait staff was top notch, service was timely and very professional. Our waiter's name was Jimmy, he was very pleasant with a nice sense of humor! He was very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions or anytime! You will not regret going to The Belvedere Inn!

We were racially profiled upon entry. went with friend and we were racially profiled and got carded twice for no reason.(meanwhile I am a bartender so carded twice for no reason absurd. Never felt this way at any other restaurant/bar we’ve been in, in Lancaster city. Really upset with the staff and the environment there…. We are in 2024!!!!! We did nothing wrong, walked in and we were judged. The place was nice, but you really need to work on your welcoming environment. NOT A WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT!!

My fiancé and I had an absolutely amazing evening here celebrating my birthday! Our food was so flavorful & our server, Ari was so attentive & friendly. We sat in the winter villas & they were absolutely stunning. The overall experience was 10/10 and one for the books. :)

I go here for beer and wine takeout. The selection is small but they are usually open and the girl that works the counter is nice. If it's earlier in the day go to Giant instead.

We decided to visit Lancaster based on coming to this restaurant and we were glad we did. From being greeted at the door with smiling faces, the excellent service from Olivia, and the delicious food, it was a perfect night out.

The menu offers a decent variety and everything from appetizers to desserts were incredible. While this is not a family style restaurant, we ordered four separate dishes and shared them all - scallops, elk, filet, lamb. Since every dish was so good, we want to go back and try four different options. Our waitress was attentive and addressed the temperature when we told her we were cold. You can dress smart casual as the site mentions, but feel free to dress up for a special night out. You won’t be out of place!

Simply the best dining experience in Central PA! Our waiter, Jamie, was fun, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. The food was impeccably prepared and the vanilla pear martini was one of the best drinks I have ever enjoyed. We will absolutely return, and often!

An absolutely great experience. First sight it was visually pleasing to the eye. The service was great, our waitress was knowledgeable, pay attention that it was our first time there, and consistently checked on us to ensure it was a pleasurable experience(waitress:Lindsay) the food presentation was spot on, and the taste was delicious, from appetizers to Entrees.
