Im a huge fan of sandwich shops, specifically like this one. What Ive heard is it is expensive, but I dont find it unreasonable. The food is top notch, Boars Head which is a nice addition with the loss of the supermarket in town who featured Boars Head. The staff works together awesome, and very very courteous. Reviews on here saying the interior is bland - its a sandwich shop not a disco; and another gripe about the rolls - they have braided seeded rolls in addition to plain non seeded rolls. Definitely worth a visit. I get the TBLT on a plain roll and it's delicious. I think they are related to another great local sandwich shop - The Good Food Store in Walpole.

A friend was able to take me to this place and their sandwiches are great! I decided to pick a “classic” called the Caprese sandwich. It was really good!

Whenever I worked around Norton, I would make a point to grab a sub here. Told all of my co-workers about it. Love the bread and ingredients.

Been coming to this place since it opened. So glad this place pulled through after the pandemic because it is absolutely the best Deli around in my opinion. Great costumer service everytime I go there, food has been excellent and consistent as well. Highly recommend!

I went to this sub shop for a sandwich near my job in Norton. I'd never been there before and it was far beyond my expectations. I wanted a turkey wrap to bring to my dentist who had just worked on my teeth at Advenced Dental Care and the fun thing about it was I got to build it myself. The woman knew exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend this sub shop. It was delicious, fresh and worth the money. I'm going back for another one or two to share with a friend when I'm in the area.

I honestly can't get enough of their chicken salad and Caprese sandwich. The chicken salad is always generously portioned and I can only eat just half of the sandwich. Same goes for any of their other sandwiches. The atmosphere is really comfortable & the owners are amazing. Always friendly & kind & want to make your sandwich top notch.

Sandwiches are delicious!!!! My cousin is very picky about what goes on her sandwich and it s on of her favorite places to go when she comes to visit. We ve enjoyed roast beef sandwiches, hot pastrami sandwiches and turkey sandwiches.

Absolutely delicious, very friendly and the place is so clean you could still eat your sub if you dropped it on the floor. Can’t wait to try more

The name is accurate. Nothing in the area even comes close. Better than both Lunch Box Deli, and Lamberts.

The Best Sandwich Shop is THE best sandwich shop. Not only are the sandwiches great, the guys who work there are better - their customer service is top notch. My husband and I have been to a few places and don’t come close to the hometown feel that TBSS offers. The bread seals the deal, baked fresh every day - impressive !! LOVE this place!! We eat here most Thursday's and love the bread (so fresh) and the sandwiches! Especially the Thanksgiving sandwich mmmmm. Highly recommend these guys!

Microwaving chicken = automatic turn off. Nobody likes a soggy piece of breaded chicken. Overrated, like many spots south of Boston metro.

Overpriced. Check out Mansfield Deli near the town center. Much better quality and value.

They make a great sandwich with good quality ingredients. The soups are always good too. A definite try.

Wow what a great place this is ... a real "gem in the rough"! Just tried these guys today and I am thoroughly impressed!! I tried the Steakhouse and the Blarney Stone sandwiches (because I couldn't only order one!) and they are both amazing!! Talk about fresh too, like ordering at your local deli, I can't compliment them enough! Nice "sandwich shop" atmosphere, reasonable prices, and very friendly service. Regular guys you can talk with who value their customers and appreciate your business! Next time you're in the mood for a scrumptious, mouth-watering sandwich go to The Best Sandwich Shop & Deli and forget Subway! This place is awesome!! Felt like I should add to my review by saying their prices are around $10-11/sandwich. But remember they're not a multi-million dollar sub chain with limitless resources, just your local shop. I personally prefer to support small business anyway - it's better for the economy so give them a try!!

Had the Boars Head roast beef sandwich, and it was a 10 out of a 10! Staff were inviting and friendly. Food was prepared super fast and convenient. Subway is good, but this is step above!

I love this damn place. I just had their Thanksgiving sandwich (Thursdays only) for lunch AND dinner. Closes at 4, so plan accordingly.

Best. Sandwich. i have ever eaten. The only “improvement” i would have to a sandwich is the crunchy pickle. All that would be done to it is dip the bread in pickle juice Lightly. Other than that, the best sandwich i have ever had.

Ill tell you what.... nothing better than a place that can make great sandwiches and delivers. Just got our sandwiches delivered to our job site for lunch. Open them up and Bam... nice full sandwich that taste delicious. Keep up the good work. We'll keep on ordering.

This place is genuinely great. Excellent sandwiches and a motivated friendly team. I often get two meals out of my purchases here. Update: After two years this place is still consistent. By far the best sandwich shop in Bristol & Plymouth County. I've yet to be disappointed once in all the time I've been here.

These guys got it down to a science. Been 6 months since my last visit because of my work schedule & they still remembered me & what I order. Couldn't get a better italian sub with the works in Boston's North End. They live up to the name. D'Angelos and Subway should be ashamed of themselves. If you haven't been you're missing out.

Fantastic sandwiches. I had the Texan, chicken/ bacon/ bbq, it's probably the best chicken sandwich I ever had. There is some outdoor seating if it's a nice day. If you're in the neighborhood and need a quick meal that's also really good, stop in.

Truly THE best sandwiches! The staff is friendly, the rolls are unbelievably good - soft, fresh, sweet. The rolls really make the sandwich. My husband and I frequently pick up sandwiches here, we tend to crave them because they're always nice and fresh, crispy lettuce, and -- OH those rolls!!! YUM.

New owners need to stick to constant business hours and not close early.
