Great food and cocktails with a rotating draft selection, good hangout location in West ybor. Bricks also have great vegan and vegetarian options. Favorite non vegan would be the "bird and pig" my favorite vegan is the "jack fruit tacos" much better than the other jack fruit options in town.

The food was delicious! We had the rooster bowl (and was one of the best bowls we’ve had in a long time!),sandwich, and an apple pie. Both Carlos and Kyle were very helpful and super nice and friendly.

Super rad bar and restaurant. Plenty of seating and a solid menu for food and drinks. Angela and Kyle were incredible bar tenders and instantly became my friends. They made me feel like I’ve known them for years. The owner Brian was around and took the time to chat it up with me about whiskey and skateboarding. Best staff in town! Will always be a place I regular while in Tampa.

The food and drinks were great! Our server was very kind and fast. He came to our table of 6 people multiple times asking if we like the food and checking if we needed anything. Tacos & bowls are delicious! The place opens late and it has tables available. It’s not just a bar.

Great bar and hangout. The food and drinks are great. Plenty of options on the menu to choose from, even for vegetarians and vegans, so something for everyone. Don't forget to check out the courtyard, should you want an outdoor setting. They even have a section that they rent out for larger parties and such. So check them out.

We were doing a ghost hunt in downtown Tampa and the meeting place was The Bricks. We got there a little early so we could eat. The waiter and the bartender were not very friendly. The food was decent. We went to play pinball in the back room and there were numerous anti police artwork on the walls of pigs dressed in police uniform shooting suspects in the back who have their hands up and several other anti police artwork pieces. I find it very offensive as my husband was an amazing police officer who put his life on the line for idiots like this.

My boyfriend and I tried this place for the first time and absolutely fell in love with it! Kyle was our bartender/server and we could not have been luckier to have him! He made excellent suggestions, was very knowledgeable on the history of different drinks, and at the end of our visit we even had him make us a drink with his own twist on it! It turned out sooo good! Josh was also super friendly, and Devin and Marley make the best food! The menu is the perfect size with super unique food selections, so that was really nice to see too. We will definitely be back and are so glad we found this place!

Heres the thing - five or so years ago this was one if my favorite places in ybor. Phenominal food done with care, lots of great signature cocktails, cool staff. Since then, lots of changes. The food wuality has gone downhill in a big way. I keep giving it chances to make me come back and support a tampa staple i love. They changed the menu for the worse, stopped offering any specials they used to like goth brunch (or brunch at all). I am always kinda sad and disappointed when i come now. I still come to events. Im not sure why all the changes happened, or why the quality of everything went down so much. Costs i suppose. But it just doesnt feel like they care much anymore about presenting great food or experience. Bring back whats the bricks used to be. 💕

Not at all impressed. Very limited non alcohol drinks. No Dr pepper,Mr.Pib, Root beer, orange soda, sprite. Was told my only choices were Coke, Diet Coke, Ginger Ale... so i had iced Tap Water. Poor selection of food... they must have just given us lunch menus... no Dinners on menu Sandwitches, nachos, and some small salads was it. 15.00 for a small square plate of nachos ( you get for free at most mexican resteraunts) and the chips are tortilla bag chips. Not even made there. Then an upcharge 4.00 for "Chicken" added it was nasty canned chicken. A Disco ball was the atmosphere but the music was not upbeat or anything cĺose to dance music... 15 of us and not 1 danced. The courtyard was not inviting at all. Chickens laying eggs and roosting all around it... and some terrible impression art that would be rated as horrible graffitti... it was a sad moment to see thier "Enchanting Courtyard" Servers did not ask if we needed anything... we had to go get them... just to be disapointed about choices of food or drink. Took me 30 minutes to find out i couldn't even get a decent Soda Pop... Then 20 more minutes to get a menu to find i didnt even have a decent dinner selection... I will never be going back to this place. It was terrible after all the trouble and cost just to pay for parking... it just added to my disgust. Oh and they're hundreds of chickens ( roosters and hens) running the streets and making messes everywhere...

Brunch in ybor can be a hit and a miss based on where you decide to go to. Bricks i would is a definite hit. The combination of drinks and the menu option they offer for both vegan and vegetarians makes it a visit for a big group of friends. One of the few places we got tipsy on a Friday morning because of the fun we were having. We ordered the "living on the veg"bowl and the veggie cuban with some nachos and they tasted very fresh.

Breakfast sandwich the cure was fantastic!

It took more than 20 minutes to get our (first and only) drinks. It was not that busy and in all fairness, the server did warn us they were short-handed and our food could take a long time, so gently suggested we order our lunch when we ordered the hummus and veggies to start. She wasn't kidding... it took over 45 minutes for the starter a sandwich (we decided to split the pacific rim) Food was good, and I'm glad we didn't have anywhere to be, but...

If you want to be ignored for over 10 minutes and have to stop the cook for service and a limited menu and drinks. This is the place. I’ve never in my life walked out of a restaurant until today. Want to McDonald’s instead. Better service than The Bricks.

Always good. Good drinks, good food. Simple menu, executed perfectly. A few creative items and vegetarian friendly, if you are into that.

This was one of the worst meals we’ve had since moving to Florida 3 years ago. The tortilla chips were Aldi quality - also, why are we serving sandwiches with plain tortilla chips? We got chips and guacamole as a side and the guacamole tasted store bought. Thin and watered down, definitely not freshly made. We asked if they had a kids menu or any options for kids and they said they couldn’t make anything for kids! That’s the first time we’ve encountered that in 4 years as parents. Usually a grilled cheese sandwich or chicken tenders are offered at the very least. The only thing I liked about this meal was that the $15 chicken rice bowl did have a decent amount of chicken. But the bowl was lacking flavor and reminded me of airport or gas station quality food. We will definitely not be returning.

Was really looking forward to trying this place out, based on the reviews, and was grateful to see it's dog-friendly. Unfortunately, I never got the chance, as when I came with my dog on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, I waited on the patio for 20 minutes, and still no service, despite my going inside and first making sure they were aware I was out there and then reminding them again 10 minutes later. I also continued to see new customers go inside, so I figured the more that was happening, the even less I'd be remembered or prioritized. They told me someone would come, but they never did, so I eventually left and went on to eat somewhere else that wants the business. Unfortunate.

We stopped in for a couple drinks and dessert, Angela was very friendly. I absolutely loved the hibiscus tea margarita. We ordered the s’mores dessert(brownie was slightly dry), the bruleed marshmallow was my favorite part then had a drizzle of cookie butter, yummy. The strawberry shortcake was tasty w/ grand mariner whipped cream. I recommend stopping in.

I visited with my wife and was treated very well. I was served shortly before closing and was able to enjoy some amazing time . Great bartenders and chief , all around good business .

We had the Brickhouse Nachos with Mojo Pork! It was one of the best nachos we have ever had! Loved it! Kyle was our server and he did a wonderful job keeping our glasses full. Will be back!!!

High prices for cheap store bought grocery items.The tuna nachos use cheap Tostitos bagged chips and Tostitos cheese. But are $18!! WHAT?? My friend also said they were made wrong: They should come with other sauces to make it more oriental that go with tuna, Not just tuna and some cheese in a jar. The chicken tacos lacked flavor. We were given a handful of Tostitos chips with the tacos but nothing to dip them in lol. Brie also lacked flavor. I requested my taco sauce on the side and was not givin it. So I had to flag the server down to ask for it. Had to ask him for salt and pepper as well. Never Asked us how we were doing or if we needed anything. He never smiled or showed any kind of care to be there. We definitely did not get a nice server like some of these reviews are saying. He was definitely not friendly! None of us will not be back.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! The staff was amazing. I am not sure if Brian is the owner or manager, but he rocks!! I came in from out of town with a party of 14, we were going on a cruise the next day to celebrate a number of family birthdays. My water glass was never empty, and the minute a drink was finished, we were asked if we wanted another one. Staff answered questions about the menu, and helped everyone with their choices. We loved the space, it was friendly and very clean. We had one person in the family with Celiac, and he had a lot of options, and the staff was very knowledgeable.

Visiting from Las Vegas and a place like this would of cost a arm and a leg in Vegas for this kind of food, drinks and service. The prices were great!

We have been to Ybor more than a dozen times and have been to many places....however, Bricks comes in first! Loved the atmosphere, the service, and the food was original! Excellent!!!! Our new favorite place.

This place May be my favorite places to eat in your city. They have a great variety of did on the menu and everything I have tried has been excellent. Even simple dishes have a lot of flavor.

I was there to meet for the Ghost Hunting tour. Both my Mother and I got there early enough to have some dinner. As soon as I walked into the door, I was thoroughly impressed with the esthetics and atmosphere. The staff was great and immediately made you feel welcome. The music that was playing was great and wasn't so loud that you had to shout to have someone hear you talk. As for the food, it was top-notch. If I'm ever in Tampa again, I'll definitely visit this place. I only wish the owner would open a place like this in Port Charlotte. It would make a killing over here.

I ordered the bricklayer nachos along with the kung rice bowl ( I'm not quite sure if I have the name correct) but both dishes were good. The pork in the bowl could've been a little more flavorful but overall it was good

I was in town recently and this was close to our hotel, but I was so impressed I will put this place on my Must Eat list anytime I'm back! All of us commented on how amazing our food was, the atmosphere was so welcoming with a super chill vibe. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. I can't say enough good things about this place!

I recently enjoyed eating at The Bricks, a quaint eatery tucked away in the centre of Tampa, Florida. I was welcomed by a welcoming atmosphere as soon as I stepped through the door, which laid the groundwork for a lovely dinner experience. Sarah, our waitress, is deserving of special recognition for her superb service. She was very informed about the cuisine in addition to being nice and attentive. She led us through the many options and gave us great advice that raised our expectations for the meal. The rice bowls were without a doubt the best part of our dinner at The Bricks. These bowls were truly a work of culinary art. Each bowl's fusion of flavours and textures was wonderful.

Why is Jalapeño Popper Soup not mandatory on every menu? The world would be a happier place. My partner and I just had that and the Cheeto Pie and I could eat it all over again. I don’t have pictures because we inhaled it. Seriously! What just happened?!?

Bartenders were great, beer and drinks were great, cheese dip was lackluster but we popped in for late night drinks and snacks and we were ok with it. Lots of options for vegans. We aren’t vegan but I can see how this would be a great option if you needed that dining option. Over all, it was great

I give the bricks four stars because it's owned by the skatepark of Tampa and being a spot rat growing up my entire life this place gives me nostalgic vibes etc. Other than that I would say it's a bar that serves food and also maybe you could see a pro skater here or something

Visited from out of town on a Thursday night and this has been the best food we’ve had in Tampa so far. What a surprise! Tasty vegan options too! We ordered the Bricklayer Nachos with jackfruit…what a tasty treat! The perfect balance of crunchy/soft, sweet and spicy!! I am confident that everything else on the menu tastes equally delicious!!

Hands down my new favorite spot in Ybor for coffee and good vibes. I highly recommend the Liquid Heroin with almond milk. Iced or hot it is outstanding. Above all the staff are amazing. Super friendly and easily engage in conversations that make you feel like you have been there before, even if it is your first time. Highly recommended!

Kristina was an incredible home and was able to Cheetos in no time. Chloe and Leo gave us for nominal service an overall with 100% remote my bachelorette party here.

I ordered one of the rice bowl everything tasted like it was from a Costco can and it was salty Atmosphere was cool . One of my classmates ordered the ceviche and stated it was not fresh we bared consumed half of our food .

The Bricks has a great corner location in Ybor. We've been here twice and the food and service was great both times. We grabbed a quiet booth in the back corner away from everyone and right afterward a large party of about 15 came in. The staff came over and apologized, explaining the area next to us was the only place available for a large party. They offered to move us if we were bothered. We appreciated the acknowledgment but stayed put. I got the Bird and Pig and my husband got one of the bowls. Both were yummy!

We enjoyed lunch at The Bricks before heading to the theatre this afternoon. We love the casual vibe with lots of natural light. The Veggie Cuban sandwich was delicious! The slaw was also very good. The Pacific Rim was really good once we got some dipping sauce on the side.

The Bird and the pig sandwich is delicious, as is the chicken tacos and chips & salsa. I also enjoyed a cold PBR while my son had a soda then a hot chocolate. It's a cool place to enjoy a meal in Ybor city.

Very clean space, food was excellent, and they displayed a wonderful art gallery. The outside lounge area was where I enjoyed most of my night accompanied by a DJ and karaoke.

Hands down best breakfast burrito around! I told the bar tender to give whoever made it a raise! All the wait staff was super fun and were always making sure you are taken care of! Their drink menue has a lot to choose from but is not overwhelming. First time in Yabor and they definitely gave me a reason to come back.

Fun place with vegetarian and vegan options. I had Veggie Cuban with slaw side that I put on my sandwich. It was delicious. I had a decaf chocolate caramel cappuccino that was just delightful. Great atmosphere too in Ybor City.
