My husband and I had Brian and the bullpen team as our caterers for our wedding, and the food was absolutely delicious and it was definitely filling which was amazing. Brian and his team went above and beyond and was able to provide us with all the food we were hoping for! Not only is he a good business man but he’s also a gentlemen, he brought us our leftovers the next day which was so sweet and so very helpful. We look forward to eat at the bull pen restaurant very soon, and we hope to make it a tradition to go there on our wedding anniversary! Thank you again to Brian and his wonderful team!

Went to the bullpen last night for supper and to listen to Victor. Was disappointed with the food I had the pulled pork sandwich and macaroni and cheese. The sandwich meat was very dry and the bread with the sandwich was so hard you couldn’t cut it. Hamburgers were very dry and overcooked. Had the rib dinner and the ribs were dry and the sweet potato casserole was dry and very over cooked. Went to listen to Victor and other people were singing that shouldn’t have been singing. The crowd that was there was very loud and as a result we couldn’t listen to Victor. I heard people say that they were leaving because of the crowd being immature and loud. At one time we seen some of the crowd making gestures that was making fun of people with disabilities. Was very unhappy with the food and environment. The waitress was very good and I felt sorry for her on being embarrassed on the hat she was dealing with.

Great food and a decent price. We went in the middle of the day and were almost the only ones there. Our waitress/bartender was Kristen and she was very personable and friendly.

The food is great! The portions are very good and it tastes delicious! The service was fabulous! My drink was very good!

Pleasantly surprised. They had a special of New York strip, shrimp, asparagus, baked potato and salad. Steak was cooked perfectly and flavorful. Price was unbelievable. I’ll definitely be going back.

Was in town for a wedding...had a private party and the BBQ was awesome and tender

We had carry out from the Bullpen last night, and we're still raving about it...The porkchop 🥩 was out of this world.. We will be back. 👍👍

Very fast, good food I had a brisket sandwhich which was amazing as well as the baked potato, had mac and cheese that tasted like peppers so wasn't too appealing but overall great food and great service.

They have a vast menu and the quality is always on point. My personal favorite is the catfish it is cooked perfectly every time

The food was great the bartender was knowledgeable about the menu and quite friendly and helpful in guiding me with my food at decision. The barbecue was quite tasty definitely worth checking out the food was made fresh to order and you could certainly tell

It's a lot of food, and it's good food

Food was delicious and service was great!! We'll definitely be back! Edit: We have been back several times with the same amazing result as the 1st time we went! We love it so much that we decided we are going to have them cater our wedding instead of the other place we had picked out!! Edit take 2! So, as I mentioned before, we decided to have them cater our wedding. HUGE success! Everything was hot and fresh just as if we went and sat down to eat at the restaurant! We got so many compliments from our guests on our menu choices and how great the food tasted! There was plenty to go around and people even got to have 2nds if they wanted! So glad we chose The Bullpen to cater for our special day! ❤

It was our first time to The Bullpen. I had a combo plate of ribs, brisket and turkey with sides of mac n cheese and beer battered onion rings. My brisket and turkey were better than my ribs. The mac n cheese has a little kick that I enjoyed. The rings were very tasty. My wife ordered a smoked ribeye. The bite she shared with me was very flavorful. They had some decent beers on tap too. My friend had a horseshoe with smoked turkey that he raved about. I stole a fry with cheese from his plate and it was really good. Our group of eight was comfortably seated and food came to the table in an appropriate amount of time. Prices were fair. We'll be back!

Great food. Terrific atmosphere. And staff was friendly and attentive.

The food was good but theres some things needed to get rid of and straighten out. First off the coleslaw dont have no dressing in it. Just plain! Secondly is the sauce or the ketchup and mustard are cheap! Why that? I would rather buy the best to have a great stuff oh to mention it my wife chicken pieces and you would have think that they have dip for the chicken pieces but that never comes with. Sorry to say that I won't be coming back with my family. You lost my taste.

The Bullpen’s food is a little upscale from that of typical local Streator bar food. The wings and catfish filets are outstanding. Be sure to order the sweet potato side dish. The place is very casual and prices reasonable.

Food was really good and almost no wait. Decent value as well just wish the menu was more robust.

Had the Half Rib Special...sooo good...Hot lightly salted French fries and Cole Slaw..Accompanied with a Pineapple beer.Mmm. Fast friendly Service too!

Awesome Food!! Very Nice Atmosphere!! Great Service!! We went there for lunch. I had the Aloha, Teriyaki-pineapple BBQ pulled pork, white American cheese with Pina Colada coleslaw and topped with grilled pineapple, served on a fresh and soft ciabatta bun. The sandwich was excellent!! My spouse had the BBQ Cuban, Grilled ham with white American cheese, topped with BBQ pulled pork and pickles served on a very fresh and soft ciabatta bun! We had the hand cut BBQ seasoned fries and the maple bourbon pecan sweet potato casserole. Both sides were excellent!! They offer several specialty sandwiches, burgers, appetizers, salads smoked meat platters, specialty dinners with catfish, cod, shrimp, salmon, steaks and several sides!! All at reasonable prices!! A Must Try!! In a residential neighborhood, worth the time to find!!

Outstanding food! Just had their chicken with sides of black beans and the sweet potato casserole with pecans! Crazy delicious and so cheap! Have to get back there soon!

Awesome food. The wait for it is very long but so worth. I did the largest platter they had so I got to choose 4 different meats. The bbq reminds me of Cookies Barbecue Sauce. Overall very good eatery in a little, Po-dunk town. I would definitely drive out of the way again for it! Just make sure your order an appetizer because the wait for food is long.

Nice atmosphere , good drinks and awesome food! Love their Maple Bourbon Sweet Potatoe Casserole topped with pecans!! Their Rib Eye has great smoked flavor and is very tender. The Fried Cajun Catfish is lightly breaded thick pieces of deliciousness! The smoked turkey, brisket and pork sandwiches are flavorful and moist. Not overpowering smoke, just heat flavor! Family owned and caters to their customers!!

I just love their house bbq sauce, it’s pretty dang amazing. The right amount of heat, tang and sweetness. Very generous portion sizes, the meat is smoked to perfection and always awesome fries. I’ve never been here in the evening, always just got lunch. It looks like it would be a fun chill place to hang and have a few drinks. Its definitely one of my fav lunch spots in Streator, I highly recommend giving this place a try. !!!

Great food and great service. Went there for lunch with coworkers one day and everyone enjoyed the food. I'd recommend the BBQ Smoked Salmon. I had it without the BBQ sauce on it and it was delicious. One of my coworkers had it with the BBQ sauce and he thought the same as I did.

The food is incredible, the atmosphere is perfect, the beer is phenomenal, and it's all a reflection of the owner Brian. He clearly put a lot of himself into the place, and it remains one of my top five restaurants.

Food is always amazing. Menu is reasonably priced. They always have a great daily special. The owner is very friendly and inviting. One of the best places in town to eat.

New to the area and saw great reviews while searching for a place to eat. I had a pulled pork sandwich and was definitely not disappointed!! They had hot BBQ behind the counter too which was amazing!! The food was great, the bartender was very friendly and the place was clean! Super happy and will definitely be coming back again!!

ORDER WINGS. ORDER SPICY BBQ WINGS, JUST DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND ORDER THE FREAKIN WINGS! Also, their phenomenal fries to go with them. Seriously though, these guys have the greatest wings, and not only that; but excellent sandwich choices (the smoked turkey Philly is crowne supreme) and the usual BBQ foods. Everything from here, literally everything from here is made with love and care and well worth every dollar. The owner and is an awesome guy and the staff are really friendly, the whole place is pretty comfortable. Dont play around, get some Bullpen.

Good food and drinks. Moderate price. Don't carry the big name brand drinks on tap instead carry smaller brands that I like better like angry orchard and they rotate then from time to time.

Came here with my guy and this place has excellent food and service, friendly staff and people. Ordered the half ribs and fries must say superb with a kick! Will be coming back!

The wings, which are more like a leg and wing together, are phenomenal!!! Lots of flavor. You will not leave hungry or unsatisfied.

The Mahi they had on special was great and the Philly BBQ sandwich is great as well, will definitely be returning.
