We loved our time at Capital Grill. Michel, our server was amazing. Made us feel special and answered every question we had with amazing eloquence. If you ever visit this location, please ask for Michel to be your server. Best service i have ever had ❤️

Family really enjoyed it! We come here twice a year and it never disappoints. I always ask for drink recommendations because the servers are so well versed in the menu that they always recommend a great drink! We did the MD 2024 menu and did the upgrades, my food was so good. My in-laws loved it which is always a plus.

Mary Peterson is AWESOME! We had a huge party that we had to book for a company event and she was so communicative and helpful throughout the whole process! We looked at so many options but with how quick she was at responding, we had to come here!

Food was amazing, our server Amy was an absolute pleasure. Extremely attentive and friendly. I ordered the In Fashion cocktail and she apparently walked by as I was enjoying one of the Luxardo cherries - proceeded to drop off a plate with a skewer of more cherries because she gathered that I like them a lot. Magical dining here is a great value if you’re going for filet - theirs is 10 oz as opposed to most other places where you’ll find 6-8 oz at best. Everything came out timely and to proper temp. The only downside about the experience is that it got extremely hot in our section, but we weren’t there for a fancy experience (got a little sweaty) and were blown away by everything else, so I believe this can be easily looked past. Will be going back in the future for sure. Thanks, Amy!

The atmosphere was nice. A little longer wait than expected, they were 20 min behind. The customer service overall was outstanding. The entire staff member from the hostess at the door to the chef was amazing. Josh, the manager, was accommodating. Our waitress was awesome, very attentive, and enthusiastic. The food was good and the drinks were delicious. The creamed spinach was tasty. The star was the glazed cheesecake with berries, delicious 😋.

Tonight I went for dinner and was instantly greeted with smiles and seated quickly. The bartender Josiah asked what brought us to Orlando. Debating whether or not to share or just smile and say day trip, i decided to share with him my mom had recently passed away at ORMC and I finally came back to thank the nurses and bring them a gift. As my friend and I finished our meal, the manager Mary and Josiah came over with a bouquet of flowers, a gift to brighten my day, card signed by staff with their deepest sympathy for my loss. They both hugged me. I was taken back by their compassion and empathy. The food and drinks were delicious but what the staff did for me was something that touched my heart. Genuinely the best. The calamari, Caesar salad, and martinis were amazing. We will definitely visit again. And I will always remember their kindness.

Had an amazing evening. Our 9yr daughter was celebrating her birthday and we wanted a nice family dinner. Mary, the Asst Mng, found out about it and made sure both my daughters had a spectacular evening. On top of that Colin made sure our service was fantastic and on point. As ALWAYS, the food was perfect too! Thank you Capital Grill for always going above and beyond!

Ordered medium rare, got a raw steak, sent it back to have it brought back out Pittsburghed, a burnt mess. I would avoid this location, it’s a shame that all the Orlando capitol grilles are located in tourist traps. What a horrible way to spend my birthday.

Our group of 6 came here for a business dinner and the service was stellar. Demetra, our server, went above and beyond - nice, knowledgeable and her recommendations were all spot on. It was a wonderful dining experience from beginning to end and I can't thank our server enough. We enjoyed the specials including the Japanese wagyu with the South African lobster tail, great sides and delicious filets. Desserts were fabulous too. 10 out of 10!

The last 3 visits were sub par and after giving them chances to delight us, we're done. They are insensitive to individual comforts, reservations and requests. The last experience was with a rookie hostess who spoke very litlle and got our event very wrong. We've enjoyed this chain when they were at their best in Miami, Orlando and others. But those days are clearly gone.

I don’t do reviews but our dining experience was horrible. Service was absolutely terrible!! We have ate at Scottsdale AZ and it’s fabulous. This place was awful!!! Service was the worst we have ever had for a fine dining restaurant. Didn’t even come back to see if we needed drinks or anything! Will never return!!

If you want a fine dining experience that makes you feel like you’re roleplaying a sardine stuffed in a tin can- then The Capital Grille on I-Drive is the place for you. Kind of hard to enjoy any type of special celebration when getting to your seat requires walking through what seems like an obstacle course, you’re sitting shoulder to shoulder with the table next to you, appetizers are cleared before you’re finished eating, and then your food not only comes out late, but also overcooked. Truly a frustrating experience for what was supposed to be a special night. The only thing I’ve heard people say about TCG that they actually delivered on was that if you complain they’ll probably take care of your tab for you. Which I’m glad they did because if not I would’ve felt truly robbed with the value I got compared to their prices. Special shoutout to manager Josh for running this joke of an upscale establishment.

Typical American steak house. Nice environment, central, good service, excellent meat. Worth a stop (to admire at the entrance the collection of bottles for distinguished guests (actors, politicians, etc.)

The food was incredible and Pablo was amazing. It was hard to figure out who enjoyed themselves more, us or our waiter! His infectious personality and knowledge of the menu made the food taste even better then it already was! Highly recommend the brussel sprouts, filet mignon and creme brulee!

We dined here on the 23rd of May. The food was amazing. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our server Chalice was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The restaurant is a bit dark. Overall we had a wonderful dinner.

Delicious food but the attention and kindness of Marco make my dinner unique!

Food was great! The staff was friendly and very interactive. Red wine paired with a 10oz fillet mignon was perfect. 3.5 stars for the atmosphere, it was busy and loud, but all good.

We had such an experience, the management team was so amazing, they have made us felt so welcomed and special and went above and beyond, totally going back. I want to give a special shout out to my girl Demetra Yacalis, her hospitality is so amazing, it was like we were home, we were celebrating my friends birthday, they gave us champagne on the house, we really enjoyed our time there. Honestly we will be going back for our special celebrations, Demetra sweet heart thank you so much again, you are a super star and deserve a raise 😂.

Truthfully, I love this location. As a huge person of steak houses this particular capital grille does not disappoint. I came last week and again this week; Josiah is one of the best servers/bartenders I’ve ever had. He remembered my name both visits, made my experience feel very exclusive and even remembered what I drank. His attention to detail and care for clients is something that is a model to the industry. I sat at the bar so watching Bri P. kill it and serve drinks was pretty entertaining as well. Overall, this place is amazing and I highly recommend!

Always a fantastic experience, delicious steaks and seafood

This review is for our visit in February. For the last few years, we’ve had a birthday ritual of celebrating at the Capital Grill. We always enjoyed the restaurant and our meal. Unfortunately, this was our last visit. Where do I begin? The restaurant called two hours before to confirm that we were coming, and we still had more than half an hour to wait. Why bother calling us?? When we finally sat at our table three different waiters asked if we wanted water, and no one brought the water until we persisted. During our meal our glasses were never filled unless we asked. The young waiter who tended to our table tried to be friendly but spoke fast and kept repeating “you guys”. Well maybe is a generational thing but “you guys” is not appropriate. The appetizers/soup were not the correct size, but we did not complain. The steak that I always looked forward to was smaller, chewy, and barely warm. My son’s steak (bone in ribeye) was small and had no bone. In addition, we had to repeatedly remind the waiter about our cocktails which took a long time to arrive. When we finished dining, we were never asked if we wanted coffee with our dessert. Perhaps the fact that there were three large groups dining that night had something to do with the poor service. However, I have seen large groups before, and service was never impacted. I don’t like writing bad reviews but for $600.00 plus I expected a little more.

The event was meant to be a festive Easter brunch and birthday celebration, but it turned out to be very disappointing. The service was slow, the food bland, and everything was overpriced. Next year, we will celebrate at the Season's 52.

Everything started off well with the two waitresses until the check came. Demetria (waitress) yelled across the room if I wanted to give a 20% or 25% tip since we had a party of 6. I explained to her that one of the guest is a toddler with a feeding tube and she did not get a meal or water. She said it did not matter. It is 20%-25% for a party of 5 or 6, which is not true. It is always a certain amount of gratuity for a party of 6 or more. When I paid the overpriced bill Demetria did not come back and her partner (Melody) kept her back towards me as I signed the receipt. I would not recommend this place. This is not professional or fine dining behavior to say the least.

This is hands down the best capitol grille location I’ve been to thanks to the manager David an absolutely one of a kind gem of a person . 4 stars are not enough to express how much his dedication, enthusiasm was heartwarming and made our night. He is a blessing and makes this place a must do when in town.

Went here for a company dinner first time service was wonderful, wasn't crazy about the choice of appetizers I don't like lobster or calamari, the fields of green salad was great and the filet mignon was great The flour less chocolate cake was not bad Great place to go for a special occasion

My partner and I came out to this restaurant for our 5th year anniversary and we were so impressed with how amazing the service and the food was. The staff really helped make the day special for us. Special thanks to Rafael Lagunas for being a stellar waiter! He was extremely kind and personable, and we were so happy to have met him. Dining here was such a pleasure. My fiancé and I were celebrating our 5th year anniversary together at this location, and we were in awe. Rafael Lagunas gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home, and it was a wonderful experience. I enjoyed the dish he recommended, the sea bass, and it was delicious!

This was my first time dining at Capital Grille and it was quite pleasant. Everything we ordered was delicious and the server(s) were very attentive with absolutely no rush. To start, the onion soup was hot and had perfect flavor, the wedge salad was excellent but the bone in ribeye was superb. This cut was tender and juicy and I could just about cut it my fork, paired with the mashed potatoes and mushroom risotto. The manager came by to greet us and make sure everything was to our liking. It was just an all around great experience.

They overcooked my steak… I asked for medium rare and got medium well…and so I returned it. They then flash broiled the next steak… the middle was raw and the steak was inedible. It might take a little longer but do it the right way and don’t rush something out. So I ate some Mac and cheese and a couple truffle fries for dinner. I’d never go back… if a steakhouse can’t cook a steak, what’s the point.

Came here for Valentine’s so I’m a little late on the review but it was a great time. It was our first time at this specific location and Chalice Azeez was amazing! He definitely helped our experience be better than it already was. :)

It's really overpriced for the food, and everything is really deflated (in size)with inflation. I was so disappointed from the last visit in Raleigh Nc to the Orlando Fl location. Be prepared to spend a little more for a not a big or really great meal. It was ok. The waitstaff service did a good job asking if I would like to order more, I actually got kind of annoyed with the persistence of the staff asking me to order more food.

Hands down, the best South African lobster tail ever- so tender and sweet. The steak was very good, as was our dessert. We very much enjoyed our experience!

The place has the best stakes in Orlando

Our servers Carrie and Natalie(I believe) she was partner with Carrie Friday 2/16. They were absolutely incredible. The service and the food was amazing.

This location has always been excellent, except for tonight. We had to wait 30 minutes even though we arrived on time for our reservation. Service was poor, food quality down, and general atmosphere was poor; water glasses were not even filled. Very unfortunate, have always counted on a top notch experience from Capital Grill, but will not be back; our birthday celebration was not what we had come to expect from Capital Grill.

Been to many capital grillls around the country so figured this would be like all the others and a nice dinner for a family member. Unfortunately as a party of 7 we were cast aside in the large group room right next to a corporate event which made it so loud we could barely converse. Even worse we happened one of the loud ones close to us which was giving everyone a headache. In any case that's one thing but the server was just plain bad. He was definitely a newer server so wanted to cut him slack but with the lack of attentiveness and strange interactions when he did come around made us all look at each other in wonderment. My wife was not happy for sure. Don't know if this location is managed poorly or just unlucky but we did expect much more from Capital Grill and we were embarrassed as the host of dinner. They did overcook a filet and lobster by quite a bit it it was replaced of course. We all know what that does to the flow of dinner though.

I love capital grill so much but I was so disappointed the lobster mac mad me so sick i cant believe this happen and when i mention it that it seem under cooked they assured me that it was cooked all the way i am highly disappointed

I'll be visiting the Orlando area in a couple of weeks to celebrate a relative's 75th birthday. Orlando Capital Grille is now off the list of candidate restaurants. In looking at some of the photos that are posted for this location, I have to say that I'm appalled. What has happened to Capital Grille? Granted, it's been about 6 years since I've visited my local location, but I can say that there's no way a person would get through the front door of the Fort Worth, Texas restaurant wearing a t-shirt and ball cap. That's simply unacceptable for a restaurant that considers themselves "upscale". Very, very disappointed in this degradation of a venerable name in fine dining to the level of Wal-Mart anti-chic.

Dear ladies and gentlemen, we had a fantastic time at Capital Grille last night Monday January 22nd. Nikki at the front desk was super inviting and lead the 3 of us to a wonderful table in the heart of the major dining room. Then we met our server Chalice Toto Azeez. He was top notch from A-Z from the very beginning until the end of our exceptional dining experience. He was VERY well educate and his knowledge was gerat to listen to and to experience. The food quality was extra and as mentioned the service level of Chalice was 5 STAR plus. It was my pleasure to also thank the Executive Chef for what was created in the kitchen. I can't wait to be back and will recommend Capital Grille to friends and business parters ( Southern Glazer's is our SYLTBAR distributor in Florida ). Sincerely Claus Blohm

Amazing place. Martin, our waiter was a wonderful, great guy. Raymond was on the dot with everything. And Kyle the wine director was the man classy and taking care of things. They all took great care of us. I will return

We made a reservation for a later dinner ~8:15pm on a Friday. When we walked in we were greeted and asked to wait for a table a few minutes ( i believe there was a private event going on that evening as well), we waited at the bar ~10min and then my bf double asked to be seated. We were seated in the big booth, which is nice and private. Afterwards a server introduced herself and took our drink order. There were at least 3 more people coming to the table and confirming our water order. At the end we just asked for any water , we usually almost never drink it anyway. For food our other server was able to upsell us their special, and even though i know that specials are usually significantly more expensive than any item from the menu, the result left us shocked. The appetizer was great and we ate it quickly, the bread variety is amazing too. We waited way too long for the entree and even the plates that were brought hot for the dinner got cold before the dish made it to our table. The presentation of tomahawk steak is always impressive and it is a huge piece, i would rather suggest it for 3-4 people, not 2. It came with seabass, that i was considering to order anyway ( it ended up being fatty and oily somehow more than expected) It came with 2 sides, that servers told us was a mistake but they would not charge us. We both had 2 drinks, which were good, but when after 1 drink i mentioned that my cocktails almost had no alcohol i did not expect to be charged an extra shot of liquor for exactly same taste of the drink. still felt like mocktail and i did not finish even half of it anyways. we could not finish even half of the food , so we had it for lunch next day. it was so excessive. The finale of the evening- the check… I did not expect the special to be cheaper than $130-$150, but we were charged $160 for special and extra $50 for the fish( that was supposed to be a part of the special anyway), so it left a very unpleasant feeling of being literally fooled. The food was okay, don’t get me wrong, but nowhere in the planet it was worth $210 for the entree, considering the longest wait for it. well, good to know that this is how they “ring” the special.

Rarely do I feel compelled enough to leave a review, but my experience at The Capital Grille, 9101 International Dr Suite 1000, Orlando, FL 32819 was poor enough to share. The service & atmosphere was fine, but the food was not. My belief is they purchase lower quality ingredients, charge upscale price point, & know they can get away with this by serving a more touristy guest base. Aka, they do not count on repeat visits bc food isn't good, but tourists will continue to show bc Capital Grille has a good brand. I enjoyed ocean prime & hampton social 10x more than capital grille. I don't even live in orlando, & I do not care where you eat, this was my honest experience.

My fiance and I had the most amazing dining experience at The Capital Grill. It's safe to say that this restaurant is one of the best we've been to. The ambience was breathtaking, and the booth we were seated at was just perfect. Our waiter was exceptional - he knew the menu in and out, and explained everything to us in detail, even the self-explanatory items. The food was beyond delicious, and we're already looking forward to our next visit to this fantastic restaurant.

Decided to come here for dinner before New Year’s. Overall everything was pretty good. Servers were attentive and actually cleaned our table after every meal. The filet was a little bit dry for a medium rare and flavorless. The hostess was very overwhelmed with the phone ringing and everyone waiting for a table to get set up so the lobby was slammed packed and you couldn’t even move.

Anytime we are near, The Pointe Orlando, we try to pop into Capital Grille whether to sit at the bar for a quick drink, or enjoy a special evening of fine dining. We want to thank Capital Grille International Drive for making our anniversary so special. Brett was attentive and treated us like family. The table was set to perfection, making the evening especially romantic. The food was exquisite. We are forever grateful to the entire Capital Grille staff that makes this restaurant so special.
