The climate inside the building was saying welcome, we are happy you stopped by. The salesman was friendly and eager to assist us. The pastries and cupcakes were fresh and delicious.

The service today was over the top as well as the turkey panini! I will definitely make it a stop when I'm traveling through Selma.

Absolutely am mad at myself for always forget to stop in. We went last week and have already been back. We've now tried frappes, smoothies & cupcakes. Everything is absolutely amazing. Staff is friendly & the atmosphere is peaceful. Highly recommend!

The coffee was only OK (it's hard get decent coffee on a US road trip), but it has a lovely atmosphere and owner has great get up and go.

Amazing spot in Selma for not only coffee, but also a solid breakfast or lunch! I highly recommend their paninis. I stopped there a few times during my visit in Selma, and was met by tremendous kindness, warm hospitality and excellent service.

Coffee was not bad but there was an odor in the store that gave me a headache and service was slow

I was too obsessed with the delish veg panini with pepper jack to take a picture. Paired with the tea was a perfect combo. But I def recommend the mango or peach smoothie super refreshing!

Love love love this black owned restaurant! The summer berry lemonade is to die for and their red velvet cupcake is insanely delish! I had the chicken salad for lunch and it was seasoned well and left me quite satisfied....I actually had two orders of it! I love their coffee...and tried it with amaretto syrup! All in all, it's a must try when in DT Selma!

I was in Selma on a work trip for 3 days and ended up going here every day. The coffee and food were amazing and the service was even better! Thanks to the ladies who took care of me every morning, it was the highlight of my trip! Highly recommend!

It was early one morning when we were waiting for the Selma Interpretive Center to open. The Coffee Shoppe was a few blocks away so I stopped in for a coffee. My Americano was really good. In addition to the many coffee and tea choices, there were also sandwiches and salads. The shop was very crowded, but we still managed to find a table.

The coffee is AMAZING! We stopped here on a road trip and the staff was very engaging and the coffee was the best we've found on our trip so far. It's good for sweet coffee lovers and those who like it unsweetened. We also are driving a small travel trailer and it was easily accessable for us. We would DEFINITELY recommend making the stop.

We were just passing by from Selma, AL and decided to have a coffee. We were amazed when the owner (I think her name is Jackie Smith) who had closed the shop just minutes before decided to open the door after she saw us. With a beautiful smile, she said ‘she is closed but she can open if you want coffee’. We loved that dedication and passion to serve the customers. She made great coffees too for me and my friends. Thank you very much for the amazing experience!

Great experience. The food and drinks were amazing! The location is also in downtown Selma, within walking distance of the Edmund Pettus bridge which is an amazing historical site to visit. Definately worth a stop.

The Coffee Shoppe was great, we stopped in to get a grilled ham and cheese...and a Frozen Hot chocolate. We Love supporting Black 🖤 Owned Buisnesses..🖤💚❤️💪🏾✊🏾👍🏾 While there discussing traveling from Texas and seeing the Civil Rights locations in Birmingham we told the couple there waiting we where trying to support Black 🖤 Owned Buisnesses. (They have a Black 🖤 Owned Buisness, Roofing.) And we where staying in Marion Alabama and let us know that Corretta Scott King..Martin Luther King's wife was from Marion Alabama. And that another gentle named Jimmy Lee Jackson that marched with Dr. King was from Marion as well. Support this Black 🖤 Owned Buisnesses in Selma and stay strong.

That grill cheese with Turkey was good but the frozen hot chocolate is my favorite drink as of now. This is coming from a person who like drinking coffee. Love supporting my people "BLACK OWNED✊🏿🖤".

I loved this little cafe. Selma is unfortunately a very dilapidated city, but this little stop right next to downtown is so well kept and the service is great, the coffee is yummy, and their baked goods are amazing. I had a cupcake and iced coffee and loved it. Would definitely return!

Great coffee! COVID-19 policies are clearly posted. Currently drive thru and carry-out ONLY. I decided to go into the cafe to order my double cafe’ americano. The cafe has a very welcoming vibe; and the menu offers a variety of beverage selections. Very nice staff and even better coffee!! Will definitely return the next time I’m passing through Selma.

Having driven around Selma and checking historic sites, we were ready for coffee. Although it was take-out only because of Covid, there was a welcoming atmosphere in this shop. The service was really good and the lattes were great.

Awesome the caramel frappe is to die for

I'm in Selma visiting my dad while studying for nursing school. I needed a quick snack during my study session so I decided to order a sandwich from here! I ordered over the phone for a pickup order. Very quick answer from a very nice lady who listened and took my order quickly and accurately. The food was ready in minutes and I'm located 0.5 miles away! Awesome service, awesome food, highly recommend! The panini I ordered was amazing I ate it in 3 bites! I also ordered a double shot espresso on ice with almond milk and honey -- so good! Thank yall so much for the quick lunch for my study session. :)
