Delicious food, nice little produce store, beautiful grounds and super nice people!

Food was amazing and a great price. Outdoor seating on under hundred plus year old trees.

Simply delicious with local sourcing on many ingredients.

We love coming out here on the weekends during the summer. We’re looking forward to eating under the big old shade trees tomorrow June 1st for opening day. We love the friendliness of this family farm, including the young ones.

There are tables outdoors but i did not see a dining room to eat inside. The day I was there, it was pouring down rain. I ordered my food and the man helping me offered to bring my food to my car so I didn't have to stand out in the rain. There's customer service for you. They treat people right. It was right before closing time for them but they had smiles on their faces and were friendly and polite. The pulled pork sandwich we ordered was so so so good!! I recommend trying it and get a lemonade too. You will enjoy it immensely! There is a family farm there too that is like a farmers market. You can buy fruit and vegetables to cook at home and eat out at the same place. Small town feeling of being in the family on the farm. It was so pleasant and made me want to go back often.

Google seems to think this is a hotel??? It's actually a restaurant with outdoor only seating. It's quite good. Interesting flavors that work well together from local ingredients.

I've never had anything I didn't like! Pulled pork - Amazing! Fries? Perfect. Lemonade taste like summer. Continues to exceed my expectation on taste and creativity every time.

This place is excellent, not surprised it has almost perfect reviews! Not only was the food delicious and the farm environment beautiful, but the owners are incredibly welcoming and create a wonderful family atmosphere. We will be back as soon as we possibly can!

The Hentze Farm Cook Shack catered my wedding! And I attended a wedding at the farm and got to enjoy the food there as well. Patrick is passionate about his food to say the least. The way he spoke about food sold me and I didn’t even need to try it first. He came highly recommended from a friend and I was not disappointed. Hentze Farm went above and beyond for my new husband and I, all of our wedding guests and our Dj, shout out to Caught in the Act Kareoke loved! I mean just gushed over our food. Everyone was so impressed. Patrick truly is an amazing chef and incredible at the cocktails he comes up with. I love that they do as much as farm to table food as they possibly can and you can for sure taste the difference! I didn’t get a chance to snap pics of my dinner on my wedding day but definitely did at my friends wedding, as well as some photos of my rehearsal dinner at the Farm and the drink menu Patrick created, so you can see how beautiful it is. I’ll post that here as well, dont hesitate to try!

Lovely people and great prices! Amazed by the quality of the lemonade, especially when you consider how unassuming the snack shack is. Seems to be a rotating menu of seasonal flavors and a good stop for weekend visitors.

A BEAUTIFUL place for the wedding rehersal dinner. They catered the wedding also and it was all so great!

Cute little food stand. Prices were a little high but the food and lemonade was definitely worth it. Nice little sitting area and very kid and dog friendly.

Amazing! Hands down, the coolest guy in JC! He is so nice! The cherry pie lemonade is unbelievable! Romantic, shaded, peaceful, clean, very welcoming! We both got a lemonade, we each got a sandwich, one pulled pork, one chicken. We each got fries. Coming out to be the best food experience this far in JC!

At the Hentze Farm, had excellent food ,service and prices were good. Try the chicken sandwich with honey, chipotle, bbq sauce.

We are lucky to come across this nice place. We visited there for a quick break, when driving back to Portland. We got great bratwurst hotdog & crispy fries, tasty blackberry lemonade and relaxing time. Very nice and friendly people are running this restaurant. We will definitely come back!

I'm so happy we stumbled on this place on our way back from the coast. The food was great and you couldn't ask for a better place to sit and enjoy it!

Excellent pulled pork sandwich, bratwurst with a tasty apple slaw, crispy French fries and yummy strawberry lemonade. Breezy under the walnut trees. We will return again and again.

Fried Corn with jalapeno crema and lime. Absolutely transcendental. Sweet corn, spicy rich crema and the the lime to add a sharp citrus note.

Excited that I came across this little gem! Family owned business serving delicious food made with ingredients from their crops! Very friendly, relaxing atmosphere...the perfect way to spend a weekend afternoon! Definitely returning!

The Cook Shack is a great food spot in an amazing setting, under two huge locust trees. It's perfect for 2020, with tons of outdoor green space on a historic family farm. The barbecue pork sandwich and bratwurst are amazing, with tons of local ingredients. The seasonal berry lemonade is a real highlight. I wish they were a bit more efficient, then it could be a perfect place to bring a family group. Overall, it's an amazing spot.

My daughter and I found this quaint eatery by searching the web for a place in Junction City to eat, we were not disappoint. The service was exceptional in the family owned and run business. We sat outside in the sun but could equally have enjoyed the shade and the breeze under the covering of the century old trees. My daughter ordered the burger, which she thoroughly enjoyed, and I got the pulled pork, it was absolutely delicious! We downed it with fresh, home made, cherry lemonade...refreshing. There is also a store where you can buy fresh farm produce. We look forward to more visits to this unique eatery and excitedly expect to see this little place become a booming business. P.S.This would also be a marvelous spot for weddings and other large outside functions.

Pulled pork sandwiches were so good we forgot to take pictures. The fresh blackberry lemonade is perfectly tart and sweet. The dining area (with picnic tables and other rustic/farm like seating) was shady and beautiful. Pete the peacock was not shy but did not bother us at all. Such a beautiful bird to look at while we laughed and ate. The service was wonderful and they gave us an extra lemonade on top of it all. This is a local gem and we’ll be back, with more people to enjoy it with.
