I love being able to get fresh bread locally. It all tastes so good

I would really love to give five stars, I love this bakery but the last three times I’ve come to buy a specific item they’ve been sold out. The first time it was close to closing so I’ve come earlier and earlier. I guess people who work days miss out.

Disappointed with sea salt bagel

I’ve yet to have anything from this bakery that wasn’t top notch, but I’ve got to mention their deli rye. It’s one of the best rye breads I’ve found anywhere, and will make a rye fan out of those who find it too weird. Give it a shot.

Saw bags of flour in front of store, so I was confused. As I walked into the store, I was greeted and saw the various loaves of bread and some delectable pastries...yum!!!

What a gem The Cottage is!! Delicious Herbed Olive Sourdough! Crust is great; soft, dense inside. Going to make grilled cheese sandwiches 😋 The 2 people working this morning were friendly, too!

Needed breads & pastries for a local reunion & was able to communicate pre-trip with Debby & her staff to place an order for pick-up. Everything was efficient & friendly but the products were off the chart delicious & unique.

Incredible bakery. The dough on all their bakes has great flavor. The chocolate chip cookies have taken the spot for my favorite in Washington. Garlic knots are irresistible. I'm so glad they're at the Kenmore farmer's market!

We LOVE cottage bakery!! The bread and all the other goodies are to die for. We love to get goods for the week and order special treats for holidays. My most favorite thing about their bakery is the pretzels!! We are also a wholesale client and use THE BEST PRETZELS around for our pretzel cart. We have served these pretzels to hundreds of people and everyone raves about them! We love Cottage bakery. In addition to thec delicious goods, the entire staff that we have encountered by going in the store or through email for our business are all amazing! 🥨🥨🥨

INCREDIBLE!! Conor has something special here! He’s cultivated such an incredible and welcoming environment and of course the bread and pastries they offer are all deliciously and made of all natural ingredients. They have a really fun, kind, awesome team and I love how involved they are in the local community.

If I only came for the smells it would be worth it! Every loaf we have tried has been delicious. I can hit the knitting store and the bakery in the same plaza, which equals a happy me!

Fantastic bread and customer service

We really love this bakery and have purchased many types of sourdough breads. I especially like the type of quality flour they use and feel their breads are amazing and good for you 😀. The desserts are good too, as well as their pizza sauce. This is our go-to store now for bread.

This place is amazing. We come here once a week to get our sourdough bread. Our kids love the samples that they give and their delicious sweet treats. The people here are always so friendly and it has such a fun cheerful vibe. So lucky that we have this place near our home. Never going back to store bought bread again.

We visited the Cottage for first time last month and we couldn’t be more pleased with the yummy baked goods we picked out AND the service. I came with my 3 kids and everyone working that day was so friendly and nice!!! It was the most perfect start to our Sunday morning. We’ll be back!!!

Love our little community bakery. We wish that they were open a little earlier ( at 10:00AM breakfast is over ). And an extra day or two ( only open Thursday - Sunday ). Hoping they reintroduce their apricot walnut bread for this winter. It was killer good !

We love these guys and the quality baked goods they provide. I think we tried just about everything sweet and and savory. Also, their pizza dough is fabulous and the extra things they sell especially the Oregon jams fantastic on the buttered bread.

I love this bakery. Everything we have tried is exceptionally good. Our favorite is the French baguette and the cottage cookie. It’s clean and well organized. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I wish it was bigger so we could sit and have a coffee but I understand it’s a bakery to go. Great place!

First time in the store so cute! Lots of jams and honey from local companies. Even little plates to put all of your goodies on. Tried the English muffins so yummy! Nice and thick to pile on all the jams and clotted cream.

Everything about this place is amazing! The food is fantastic and there's always something new to try when we visit. The staff is also so friendly, it truly feels like a nostalgic neighborhood store. I can't imagine a special occasion now without bread from The Cottage, Community Bakery.

We have been customers for months now and absolutely love the breads and baked goods at The Cottage. We especially love the Dad’s Deli Rye and the Oat sandwich bread. Amazing quality and good nutrition with the Carinsprings Flours.

Always greater with a smile when I come in. They have peanut butter for sale along with honey in case you need spread for the bread you are about to purchase. I’ve tried both their cookies and the rye based one is a favorite. Their sour dough bread is amazing and I’m lucky to have this place in the neighborhood.

Great bread bakery with a few yummy pastries offered as well. Even during busy times they move through customers efficiently and have been on my few visits very pleasant employees to interact with. We are so lucky to have the Cottage Community Bakery in our neighborhood. The bread that Connor bakes is delicious and there are so many choices. The students that work there are very friendly and helpful in making decisions! I have my favorites like sea salt focaccia but I like to try the new samplings too!

You have never tasted better Challah bread! Often only available Friday mornings. And don’t forget their delicious Cottage Cookies.

We love having such a fabulous bakery so close to home. The Sea Salt focaccia and the pretzel buns and sourdough are our regular items, but we love trying all the new delicious items! The staff is always super friendly and the line moves quickly even on busy days.

Best breads and baked goods in Snohomish County!

We first discovered your wonderful bread when Cottage was a pop-up and you had to stand in a long line outside, on the corner of Olympic View Dr and 76th Ave W. It was always worth the wait. Man and woman don't live on bread alone, but if they did they should get it at Cottage Bakery...especially our favorites, the country sour dough and Dad's deli rye.

Best sourdough baked goods in the area! Whether you’re a sweet or savory fan, there’s something for everyone. We especially love the rustic loaves and shortbread cookies, but there’s always new and interesting items to try! Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. 10/10 would bread again 🧡🥨🥖

One of the cutest bakeries in the area. The aroma of the bread mixed with the paper bags is just unbelievably pleasant and unique. A little pricier than stores but hey you pay a little extra for the experience plus nothing feels nicer than supporting your local bakery in the neighborhood.

I know sourdough is all the rage, but our family is French and we love a delicious baguette that isn’t from sourdough base. And this place HAS IT. We drive 40 min just to have it. It’s that good. The first time we tried their baguette was at the Edmonds Farmers Market. My husband loves looking for the most french-y baguettes and pain au chocolats, and I remember we had already purchased another baguette from a different bakery. When we came to The Cottage’s stand, we bought a loaf of their baguette and it was so good, we devoured it entirely while at the market. The other baguette was forgotten. Flash forward, we go to their shop to order our baguette when we have a second to drive out that way, and we also pick up their honey almond darlings… which are truly exquisite and to die for. They aren’t overly sweet and pair so deliciously with a cup of coffee. The staff, which looks usually of young high school to college students, is remarkably friendly and are willing to be honest on how long breads and baked goods will last (and how to make it last as long as possible.) We’ll continue to drive out of our way to patron this business. French guy stamp of approval!

Great Bakery! Really good quality Sour Dough bread. We bought flour there as well. 20lbs for $20. Great value. We also asked to purchase sour dough starter and to our surprise, they give it to you for free! Wonderful place.

Hands down the best bakery north of Seattle!!

I'm on day 3, after purchasing a loaf of the Herbed Olive Sourdough, and it's held up remarkably well! Still a great crunchy crust and flavorfully chewy interior and really wonderful when toasted. Also got to try the new Double-Chocolate Sourdough muffins and loved these as well. I'd been craving choc muffins for about a week so was stoked to see these added and they didn't disappoint. Def a beautiful complexity to the flavor profile but not overwhelming at all. Hopefully, a new classic. ❤

Since moving to their current location in Perrinville, I have faithfully purchased various breads and baked goods almost every week. Today, even though no one was behind me, I was rushed through. The Chocolate Chunk Rye cookies, one of my favs, are being sold individually for $3/each rather than a package of 3 for $6. They continue to overbake these cookies and the ones I purchased today were hard and dry (and cold) - they may as well been a week old (though they didn't taste stale). All in all, their baked goods are very good and, usually, their staff is very friendly but for $3/cookie I would think they could provide a cookie that is moist and chewy not dry and crumbly.

Connor is a solid baker who makes impeccable breads and sweets using locally sourced ingredients. His storefront is quite welcoming with all sorts of baking needs. We have needed a good bakery for a long time in this area and The Cottage really fills this need.

Started trying their baked goods at the Edmonds Saturday market. The Darlings hit the perfect mark for my sweet tooth with flakey puff pastry enclosing various combinations of complex flavors. We also keep coming back to their storefront in Perrinville to get the Herbed Olive Sourdough bread. Tastes amazing toasted!

The Cottage is a small bakery run by very happy and enthusiastic young people. The specialties are bread, which they will gladly slice for you. It's made from NW organic grain, and they also have some jams and honey available. Their pastries and cookies are great, too.
