I would like to give a huge shout out to the lady who gave me paper towels for my windshield that was above and beyond much respect and love i work as a barista and it takes a special kind of person to care this much most people dont care. Thank you for making my day bright and wonderful through my windsheid and heart. If i could I wiuld have left a 1000 dollar tip thank you😘😘🥰🥰😊😊 Itry to always go out of my way and do the same!!!!!!!!!!

Great coffee stand and a local staple. The coffee is almost always good, the only exception I've experienced is when they're training a new barista. They have a great selection of food and drink options and even have gluten free options. The drive thru line can get pretty long, but they'll come out to your car and take your order there so by the time you reach the window the order's pretty much done. There is no indoor seating so it can get pretty cold during the winter but for most of the year it's not too cold to sit down outside for a quick meal there.

Place is 10/10, these are quite literally the BEST sandwiches I've EVER had, and not only the sandwiches are BOMB AF but the COFFEE 10/10 would drink it every day if I could. If I go into a coma stick it in my iv and I'll come back to life it's that good!!!! And don't even get me STARTED on the customer service!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE SO NICEEEE. 10/10 there is no better place than this!!!!

We stopped by just to pick up sandwiches for the road. It was a hot day, and they offered us ice water free of charge. Awesome service.

One of the best bacon egg and cheese bagels I’ve eaten and lived in nyc for last 2 years. Get the cheese bagel egg and bacon. Their house cut bacon was phenomenal, no regrets and will come back 😮‍💨🙏🏾

We are traveling and came here because of the reviews. We ordered sandwiches to eat while we waited for the ferry. When we arrived at the ferry terminal 10 minutes later the sandwiches were soggy, but the flavor was still good. We ordered three sandwiches and none were marked. They also failed to give us napkins. Overall, great tasting food if eaten before it sweats in the wrapper. Customer service could have been better as well.

This place has better tasting coffee than I’ve have ever had. The Mocha hot coffee is dreamy!

Highly recommend! The workers there are so fast and friendly. I've never had them mess up an order. Good food selection. I recommend the roasted pepper and humus sandwich.

My granddaughter and I dropped by to warm up. It was outside seating but right next to the building was warm. They made my granddaughter feel so good with a delicious muffin and a strawberry steamer complete with whipped cream and confetti sprinkles! Warmed her up and added to the smile on her face!

The Cup and Muffin is a staple of my days. Always fast, friendly and delicious! My favorite coffee is a double short latte with brown sugar, and for food the chicken salad is superb 👌

There was a rubber band in my coffee. A freaking rubber band. The English muffin sandwich was mid and overpriced.

Drive through window has wonderful view of port a potty. Had a sandwich there Friday morning tasted something strange like soap threw out the meal after two bites... Went to emergency due to mishandled food.

Best possible place in Kingston

This place has PHENOMENAL sandwiches. Don't even worry about the coffee, you HAVE to get the sandwiches. They make me ascend every time I eat one. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the club sandwich!

We came here after the ferry crossing with a small appetite for lunch and without any great expectations. In the end we were very pleasantly surprised; we have rarely eaten such good sandwiches. Highly recommended!

1st time here, as we wanted to get a small quick bite for ferry wait. Found a great food menu. We finally decided to share a Club. I got a bit nervous when I noticed separate menu sections for hot & cold sandwiches, and Club was on the *hot* side, and on a ciabatta. Huh?? Decided to go with it because Club description sounded otherwise ok, aside from ciabatta. Wasn't "ok"...it was one of the best ever, and so glad we shared, as whole sandwich was close to 2x size we expected. BTW...the ciabatta was killer for the Club, and best ciabatta *ever*. We're looking forward to returning for another Club, and trying other items. Highly recommended!!!

Perfect spot to get a bite to eat and coffee. The breakfast bagel sandwich with bagel was everything I could have asked for. We loved that there was a little outdoor patio to eat/let my 3 year old roam around and get some wiggles out. We look forward to coming back.

The caffe taste was not quite Right for me

On our way to the Kingston ferry stopped by for breakfast and coffee. They had gluten free bagels making it convenient for my gluten free girlfriend. Although I had ordered a cheese bagel, my order came with an English muffin. It was good although I had wished I had my cheese bagel instead. Otherwise I’d recommend for anyone in a hurry or need of breakfast before their journey to the east of Kingston.

Cute place with good breakfast sandwiches. Blueberry scone was great. Used drive through so cannot speak to atmosphere.

Don’t get the cheese on the breakfast sandwiches - cheapest stuff possible and overpowers even the bacon.

Outstanding little hole in the wall place in Kingston WA. Had a fantastic hot roast beef sandwich. The weather was great so eating in their outside dining space was nice. They also have a drive thru for getting a coffee on the run.

Everything about this place was excellent! One of the best food choices we made on our 3 week trip! The Italian sandwich, and the chicken melt were delicious! Latte with maple flavor was awesome! Staff were friendly 👍🏽👍🏽

This place is awesome! 😋 We had 2 delicious hot sandwiches, a huckleberry iced lemonade, a kids toasted cheese and a good latte. I wouldn’t hesitate to return if I’m ever in the area again. They were friendly and fast.

What an amazing spot! You can either walk-up and order or choose to drive-thru. I opted to walk-up and enjoy my breakfast on the little patio which was nicely broken out from feeling like you were in a parking lot /drive-thru line. The breakfast sandwich is the breakfast sandwich dreams are made of! The bacon was incredible! The bagel was also very tasty, loaded with cream cheese and topped with (or without!) a tomato slice. But hey, it's summer, why not have a tomato?! They also have a commuter special where you can snag the aforementioned breakfast sandwich and a coffee in the early morning weekday hours for a special price! Last thing that I have to shout loud and clear - don't go to the golden arches next door if this place is open!!! Support your local businesses and enjoy their delicious breakfast, lunches, and coffee drinks!!

We are visiting friends in Kingston. Staff came out to the car to take our order. I had the Italian sandwich (delicious) and my wife had the chicken salad on croissant. She said it was the best one she has had in years. These are hard to find. There were little taste and texture treats of grapes and nuts in the salad that made the sandwich above and beyond any similar sandwich. Very special sandwiches. Not your typical sandwich shop. Highly recommend.

Walk to the window, a short walk and faster than the car lineup. Delicious sandwiches, then get in the ferry line and relax while you lunch. Maybe you have chips in the car to go with.

The Cup and Muffin is great. The owners are local, and they have very good espresso (not always a given for small-town drive through spots). They also have a nice sandwich menu - good selection, made to order. Word to the wise, though: a few of their sandwiches have American cheese where you might expect cheddar, like on a BLT or Breakfast Sandwich. They will sub cheddar for a small upcharge, and it's definitely worth it.

Usually it is Very Good !! But this morning of 7/8/23 , staff acted like they didn’t want to be there . Zero smiles with bad service. I hate that cause usually it is Awesome!! But this time she didn’t want to even give my service dog a treat that she always gets with her sweet head hanging out the window waiting quietly … I still tipped even with the bad service and the girl still was negative at the end …. Hope manager sees this and talks with staff about good customer service . I know that even if I’m in a bad mood , I don’t put that on others . Quality of product is big for return business . But for me, even if it’s not the best product, customer service is what will always bring me back. Hopefully next time it will be better 🤞🏽

One of the few great coffee places that make great coffee and where staff know how to make a proper espresso. Breakfast sandwiches are amazing, made fresh to order with quality eggs and thick-cut bacon. In a hurry for a low-carb meal to go? Get the chicken salad in a cup, made fresh regularly. Friendly staff is always hospitable and happy to accommodate you.

The Cup and Muffin is definitely going to be a new regular spot for us new-to-towners. I was highly impressed by their service and high quality food and drinks. We ate in the outdoor seating area because it's such a beautiful spot. But they also have a drive-through window which was moving fairly rapidly. This place seems to run like a well-oiled machine with workers knowing some people's orders the moment they arrived. They were not only efficient but kind and amiable. They have several gluten free options including what we got: the breakfast sandwich on a gluten free bagel. I will need to ask where they got their bagels from because they are delicious, chewy, and soft. I also got a London fog which was perfectly sweetened and my partner got a mocha that was amazing! Perfectly brewed and not overly chocolatey. Honestly perfect breakfast.

Starbucks WHO?! As a "tourist," you just can't beat Washington Coffee stand coffee and The Cup and Muffin is no different. I decided to try the ham and cheese croissant and was surprised by the thickness of the ham slices and how filling the sandwich was for breakfast. Although the price was a bit high, the quality of the food and coffee made it worth the extra cost. Overall, I highly recommend this coffee shop and will be back for sure when in town!

A must eat in Kingston. Had a southwest salad. Sevice and food very good. Quality of chicken could have been better. But priced right. This is my second time and I love their coffee and chicken melt. So definitely going back.

Oh my goodness, stopped by for a quick lunch, and we were very surprised by our sandwich. It was delicious, so good. We ordered the Club, which included slices of real ham and thick cut bacon. Yum! It will be a go-to when I visit Washington.

Decent drip, good espresso drinks. Love the bagel breakfast sandwiches but could you pls cut them all the way through?? Always mangle them and make a mess trying to eat them in my car!

I've been here twice and have enjoyed both experiences. Fast and friendly service, food is well priced, and coffee is good. Only problem I have is I bit into some sand eating my sandwich, like the veggies weren't washed thoroughly. Idk if this is a one off experience, but it was noticable.

This place is really good. Best croissant egg bacon sandwich I ever had. I asked them to burn my bacon and they did exactly what I wanted. My daughter and grandson loved their sandwiches as well. It's a must stop near the ferry. Love this place.

we always stop here when passing through I get a Carmel Macchiato and it’s the best coffee I’ve ever tasted. I got a chicken Cesar salad and it was so fresh prob the best salad I’ve ever had too. If I ever get married I’d want this place to cater for sure fresh everything yum yum my partner got the Reuben sandwich he was happy too

Baristas kick butt. Always fast and friendly service. Food is delicious and has way more variety for hot food than most other stands. They have Lotus/Redbull spritzers and Italian soda and frozen lemonade along with typical coffee drinks.

My favorite local coffee and breakfast place in Kingston. Oatmeal with everything and croissant breakfast sandwich are our typicals. The roasted red pepper and hummus sandwich is absolutely tasty!

Got a ham and cheese croissant and a Italian grinder and they both really hit the spot. Ice tea lemonade too. Very reasonably priced. Porta potty in the parking lot. The garden was just gorgeous. A very serene place right off the main road to have lunch.

You cannot make a poor choice at the cup and muffin. Their drinks are always well made, and very quality ingredients in all their food options. 10 times better than McDonald’s. Any sandwich will be amazing. The coffee is 5 times better than Starbucks. The line can get long, but they are worth the wait.

I sent the following text to my girlfriend after stopping on my way to the ferry: "I got a blt from a Kingston coffee shop on my way and it was RIDICULOUSLY good. Like best sandwich I've had in recent memory. It was in focaccia with melty cheese and onions and mayo and mustard and just toasted perfectly and ugh it was amazing. That sandwich just made my day" Good coffee too

Cup and muffin is our go to coffee and lunch spot. Amy and her staff are super friendly and always provide exceptional service. They have the BEST sandwiches and salads!! And bring your dog because they give real bacon!

I bought an English muffin breakfast sandwich with bacon and my god was it delicious. We were visiting family and decided to stop for coffee and a bite. Service was quick and the barista was incredibly nice. Ticket was well within the expectation and the quality of our drinks and food took money out of the equation entirely after.

This is my favorite pre-ferry snack grab and go place. Customer service is tip-top so please tip these lovely people. Pick randomly from the menu if it's your first time, you won't be disappointed and know that if you have dietary restrictions they can likely help you find what you need. Coffee drinks, hot cocoa and Italian sodas are on point. Get there a wee bit early and enjoy your treats as you wait for your ride.

Coffee drinks are okay but this place shines in their sandwich selection. Love the breakfast and lunch selection and everything is priced fairly. I much prefer picking something up here to the mcdonalds next door when I need something on-the-go!
