We are locals but have yet to try this place. Came in for takeout on Tuesday. Extremely clean facility, reasonable pricing, and great customer service. We got the wings and a Philly. Food was excellent. Most deff will be back. Keep up the great work!

Typical bar food and environment, but their wings are exceptional !! Closest thing to Roosters we've found !! Even beats Hooters !!

Bartenders are down to earth & fun Hamburgers & fries were very tasty & reasonably priced. Beer was ice cold . Place is a dive, but you shouldn't drive by .

Good food, good friendly workers and customers. The bar counter gets busy at times and could use swivel seats!

Food took very long, place not busy at all, took too long. Stinky and musty. Waitress had an offensive T-shirt on. Bathroom didn't lock. Third time we've tried it, probably won't be a fourth. On a good note, the beer was cold and a good price. It's not like it was when Gail owned it.

Kind of a dive bar but good service and they have daily specials and great happy hour prices. Nice friendly people.

We were told about trivia and beer bingo . We decided to try out trivia. The parking was full. There was a crowd standing outside. We didn't know what to expect .We walked in and the server greeted us, got our drinks promptly and explained nightly food specials.We were pleasantly surprised on how great this place is . The food was delicious .The server was friendly and prompt. We will be back to play bingo.

The wings were great and they had karaoke that afternoon which was a lot of fun. The bartender (female) was a bit rude and abrupt however. It was my first time there and I was not quite sure of what they had or their process to order and she acted put off.

Lara and I stopped here on our way home from hiking she had a BLT sandwich with a beer, and I had a chili dog with cheese and a coke.

I stopped there on a Sunday afternoon for a couple of beers. There was football on the TVs. I didn't eat anything, but it seems like chicken wings is a seller. The service was great. The Miller Lite beer tasted good, not stale and was ice cold.

When we went in it was Crowded so we went to the outside seating. We got the menus and got ours drinks then that is where it all went wrong! First there were flys everywhere, I saw a cat and alot of lizards only good part of that. Then we got our food. The hotdogs had to much sauce on it and the tacos were soggy. People behind us wouldn't stop laughing.

We ordered the garlic wings all drums. They had no flavor at all. Very disappointed.

The Dog House is a rustic roadside bar & grill with a neighborhood bar vibe. They have shaded outside seating. Today, I picked up a cheeseburger & fries for takeaway. The burger was tasty.👍The toppings were fresh, and the bun was really good. Krinkle cut fries are my favorite. These would have been better if they had spent a little longer in the fryer. They weren't busy when I stopped by, and my order came out quickly. The first time I stopped here, I went for "Taco Tuesday." The tacos were meh. The draft beer was icy cold. ↪️ Credit cards only accepted above $20. Cash only below $20. ↪️ Are dogs allowed? It seems to depend on who is working. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Me and my friends go there and have always had great wings and cold beer. Everyone is nice and we always have a good time talking and joking around with everyone

It was our first visit to Dog House. We ordered hot garlic wings and a cheeseburger. Both were excellent. Definitely will be returning.

Amy our Barmaid was awesome! And the wings are fabulous! Would like to retrack went tonight waited a hour for burger and fried cauliflower. Burger had no taste at all. Also they got myRare and husband well mixed up. Barmaid tonight was useless was not Amy.

Small tavern,no entertainment other than juke box and 1 pool table. They now have entertainment outdoors.

Everything was OK, nothing to write home about. I would go again if I was meeting up with friends. Chicken wings are good. Service was very slow. Reuben thin. Hamburger was good. Beer was cold.

Friendly customers and staff. We went on a Wednesday night, they play Trivia! The place was packed. Philly cheesesteak and potato salad were delicious. Highly recommended!

We stopped in and found out there is a trivia night (wednesday) that's going to be fun. The power went out for a short time, no big deal, it happens, it was daytime. We had fish and shrimp baskets, they were ok. We will be back to check out trivia.

A cool little bar & grill . Has a nice backyard tiki style setting.Seating is covered to keep you cool.. Horseshoes, Fire pit. Chicken wings were good. Service was good. First time I went is pretty good can't complain about the place they were nice and all so and then we fear was nice in there thank you

Where do I begin? I went to this location to get some food with some friends of mine. After entering we were asked if we were drinking or eating. After answering eating we were informed that the kitchen was closing in 30 minutes. Having some common courtesy I said that we'd go somewhere else for food but the waitress insisted that we sit down saying it's fine as long as we get our orders in before 9. We sat took 10 minutes to order the food and had the orders in by 8:35 pm. The last two of our party came in and ordered by 8:44 pm. We asked what oil they used as we had people in our party who are allergic to peanuts. Waitress didn't know and didn't ask. After waiting almost an hour for our food and the waitress not checking on it being more interested in her personal friends conversation, we decided to leave and pay for our drinks. After getting some attitude from the waitress. She informed us that it was a $20 minimum for credit. So we ended up paying $20 for $11 worth of drinks. Normally I'm pretty tolerant, but this place is awful. We found out as we were paying that the grill needed to be restarted and that's why the food took as long as it did. Vital piece of equipment turned off and we were still told to stay and then given attitude when we had to leave. This place is a trap and should be avoided if you're not close friends with the local staff. I could give this place zero stars I would.

Patrons beware as you must be watched by several serval ance camera's. You must drink beverage without effects in your attitude. All due to an issue that included a regular patron whom was defending himself against 2 aggressive threatening instagaters.. Please enjoy your visit..

Went to bar for taco Tuesday and the tacos would be good if they were hot, also it was so cold in there we had to eat with coats on. Bar keep was very nice and everyone was friendly.

I love Krause's dog house and the owner Gayle! She doesn't say a lot , she is a quiet person but absolutely as sweet as the day is long!. She does a lot for the animals ! She is very giving ! No smoking inside, they have a lovely outside area to smoke in, oh, BTW. They do have a pool table inside so I think that's a plus and they only take cash but they do have a ATM. Their food is Quick Serve, like wings , hamburgers and taco Tuesday which is fabulous good ! Welcome to Homosassa! Enjoy! Family owned and operated and I love it!

Great tacos and wings with cold beer

Let's be honest the food is not why you go to a bar. That being said, it has some great fast food at good prices. It's location couldn't be more perfect right beside the local flea market. The inside of the bar is non-smoking and rather atmospheric and enjoyable. They offer a backside for smokers that has its own charm.

Go to Howards Flea Market then have lunch at Krauss be patient but , its delicious

It's hidden inside a beer and wings joint! Didn't notice any hot dogs on the menu. There's an Italian Sausage sandwich with peppers and onions though. We enjoyed the wings and chicken strips that we ordered, along with soda in a can and a bottle of beer. It all came to less than $20, nice to have a very casual place to relax for under $20 with food and a drink. Not a place for kids on a Friday evening, but ok for adulting adults.
