I really wanted to like this place & support local, but I’m now on day 3 of food poisoning from the lobster i ate here. 100% came from here. It’s the only thing I ate that day & immediately within a few hours started having symptoms. I had the lobster roll. I would definitely caution yourself if you consider getting the lobster. Day 3 and I still feel as bad as day 1! The food wasn’t good, and spent almost $80 on two meals. Please be sure to start handling the food with more care or right temperatures because this freaking sucks. I won’t be back. Extremely disappointed

Best in the city and beyond. You might think it’s just a humble place to get a dog, but he rocks the vegan & vegetarian options, lobster rolls, gourmet dogs and more. This spot is a must if you know what’s up!

My neice was in town and mentioned last time she wanted to try their lobster roll. Went today and got the hot lobster roll. Amazing! All the time I thought they just sold hotdogs and a lobster roll as I passed by. Their menu had everything which I would even consider an extensive menu. Not just a basic menu either. Gourmet style burgers. I walked up and he said they just got in red grouper today. Wow. Will definitely be going back.

This is got to be the best place for hot dogs and lobster rolls. They are so delicious and you can't beat the price. The menu has alot of variety of food. Chef Marcus has the best hotdogs in town and the fries are seasoned wonderfully.

I have a coupon that I won several years back and I called the owner of the company in the gentleman said that he would honor it but every time we had tried to go they were either doing some sort of event and we never got to use the coupon. When I call them today And said I have the coupon and would like to come down to use it now all of a sudden they tell me they won’t honor it. She was very rude on the phone and I’m not a real lobster lover. I’ve had the hotdogs and if you like hotdogs, do yourself a favor and get a hotdog from 7-Eleven Which is 90% better than what they have there

You could look past this awesome food truck, which sits up on the hill at the back corner of the parking lot, if not for the big banner out front...but you would regret it if you did! Hot lobster roll was a little smaller than some, but super fresh and tasty. Fries were good, too!

Ive been going to the dog pound for about 3 years now. I met the owner and chef Marcus back before he had a food truck. He was just running a small cart with some absolutely amazing gourmet hotdogs. I quickly became a regular and built a bond with Marcus. That man's got such a passion for his craft and a passion for feeding his community. He keeps his cost affordable so everyone can enjoy his food and when you go to the dog pound he'll always treat you like family and serve you with a smile. Marcus is not only a talented chef but he's insanely creative with his menu and constantly does his best to keep every fresh, local and interesting. He takes time to get to know his customers and has won the hearts of the locals. He quickly became an absolute staple of the treasure coast. The definition of humble and an absolute hidden gem of the area. It doesn't matter if you're from here or not go see the homie and try anything on his menu. You won't be disappointed

We became The Dog Pound's loyal regular customers when we met Marcus few years back selling hot dogs at the gas station in Rio. I have been witness of his remarkable growth in past two years. Not only he was able to attain his dream by upgrading his Food Truck, but also his devotion to the culinary arts are resulting in mouth watering food that leaves you craving for more. Our son Sunny absolutely 💯 loves the hot dog 🌭❤️😋 and the fries 🍟 😋! Lobster 🦞 roll is definitely number 1 in town! However; the menu has so many more choices to satisfy anyone's taste buds. BTW Marcus is the best! He has such a kind heart as he truly thrives to serve our community delicious food made with love ❤️ 😍 💯 🙏😋

I’ve know Marcus since we were in elementary school and one of his goals was to one day have a food truck eatery. The food he prepares and makes not only is one of a kind items, but it’s from his heart when he prepares it, so it makes it that much more enjoyable. The chilli cheese hot dog I had was so good! My son had one of his speciality burgers and almost right after finishing asked for another. Try anything on there menu, it's guaranteed to be delicious!

The food is great! I found this food truck several years ago when they just served hot dogs. Now, I go for the Italian sausage sandwich with peppers, onions and mustard. Chef Marcus is fun, friendly and you can tell he loves doing what he's doing. I strongly recommend a stop here when you are in the Jensen Beach area.

I saw this place on Facebook, I was up in the area and I had to stop. Thank goodness I did, Lobster Rolls, Crab Fries, Beef Hotdogs and the Pulled Pork! All on point! I will now make it a point to go out of my way to eat here, it’s about 60 miles from where I live, and it’s worth every minute in the car. Great little local spot with amazing food.

I had the Mahi Dog thingy. It was awesome. Right by the riverside park, where I love to snorkel.

Not only is the Dog Pound nostalgic and tremendously satisfying; the owner, Marcus; is unforgettable. He is an artist with an impeccable palette for incorporating flavors. He was humble, kind, and went out of his way to accommodate myself and my family! I will definitely be back to see what other creations the Dog Pound can produce that makes the belly smile! Everything we ate was cooked to perfection and one of the best high end food trucks I have ever been to. ThankS Marcus! Keep the lobster rolls and the mahi coming!!

If you’re a local, you know this is one of the best spots in town to grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner. When someone I know is coming from out of town, this is the first place I tell them to go for food, it’s just something you can’t get anywhere else! I’ve tried so many different things on his menu and every time I go there, somehow chef Marcus exceeds my expectations. Choosing favorites there is difficult but mine would be the hot lobster rolls, mahi tacos, some crazy bacon cheeseburger he makes for me and the fries…the fries are amazing. All of his ingredients are always so fresh, I know I can rely on a great meal every time I bring some friends, family, or just want to go grab some food by myself. Also need to mention that chef Marcus is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, if you haven’t been, go stop by, say hi to Marcus and try it out for yourself, you will NOT be disappointed!

On my way to Wisconsin, I had to google food trucks on the way, and after looking through the list I decided to give Dog Pound a chance despite being 44mins added to my long journey. Kidding you, not it was the best Lobster 🦞 roll I can ever imagine as a Chef each and every dollar 💰 worth it. Don't take my word for it drive up and find out yourself

If you are in Florida and you are not eating at this place you are wrong. This is seriously a one stop shop, amazing food, amazing quality, and amazing customer service. The owner is seriously the real deal, he literally makes you feel like you are family. If there were 10 stars I would give it. Can’t wait to go back.

My dad and Uncle started getting hot dogs here many years ago when they were just a hot dog stand whenever they went fishing. Then they introduced it to my son, then my son introduced it to me. They have the best hot dogs and fries!!!! Their burgers and tacos are amazing too!! They are friendly and caring to.

Awesome place one of my faves and a definite go to time and time again. We've done lunch and breakfast from there. Don't sleep on The Dog Pound. Def a go to spot for us! They have a cute shaded area to sit at with little picnic tables for the kiddos too. Or take the fam to the Indian riverside park for water views and a good spot to eat amazing grub!

This has become a local favorite of ours. It is obvious that Chef Marcus is just that; a Chef. I love the shrimp or Mahi taco most but have tried the Pulled Pork Sandwich, Chicago dog and a Lobster Roll also and each one was good. My husband loves the burger or the Loster Sliders and the Fresh Lemonade. The portions are good, the presentation is beautful, the ingredients are fresh and the the flavors of the food all blend together perfectly in everything that I have tried. For all of you looking for Gluten Free options, Chef Marcus can hook you up. I highly recommend The Dog Pound!

Been coming here for years and the hot lobster roll is the best I’ve ever had! I’ve eaten pretty much everything on the menu and it’s all amazing and made fresh to order. Definitely don’t skip on the conch fritters, the Mahi sliders or the fresh squeezed limeade!

Drove down IRD and seen this place, The Dog Pound, stopped for 2 hot dogs, chips and a can soda $5.00. There are a lot more items on the menu . Great food &service with a smile.

Lobster fries had TONS of lobster and the pulled pork sandwich was perfect. Add a limemade and it’s the perfect lunch stop. Great food truck and better people!

Delicious! Don’t let the name fool you, so much more than hotdogs! I had a shrimp bowl and it was so good that I returned the same week for a second! They are located across the street from the Jensen Beach boat ramp and US sailing center.

Best lobster roll we’ve had in a very long time. We got the hot lobster roll and the Chicago style dog. Both were great! The food has also always been very consistent and tasty! Try them out and you won’t be disappointed!

Loved the Lemonade Slush!! Stopped for a hotdog. Chicago dog. It was good. I prefer the neon green relish instead of regular and put on top instead of under the dog and not so much. Nice toasted bun. Another guest was excited to try the Lobster Roll, she saw a review on facebook. I told the chef that several years ago I tried the "Best Lobster Roll" and found it to be very wet, watered down flavor. At that time, they just had the small cart and an ice chest. He said he has the only 5 star lobster roll in Jensen Beach. I decided to try it again. There was a lot of lobster and mango salad in the roll but again it was very wet. The roll was soggy after just one bite. Fell apart. Even a toasted bun would not hold up to the juice. I ate the rest of the lobster with a fork. This item would eat better as a lobster salad. Needed more mango and less chopped tomatoe and cukes that turn into flavorless water. Maybe offer Lobster Nachos, serve with mango salsa with hard chips instead of putting it on a soft roll.

We had a little bit of everything including lobster rolls, conch fritters and loaded fries. Everything was phenomenal even tho it was the end of the day. Everything was super fresh and reasonably priced.

Best hot dogs in town, hands down, forget about the others. Everything we've tried from there has been amazing and we've tried quite a bit,. From their tacos, both burger and mahi sliders, pulled pork fries and the list goes on. Haven't had a bad experience yet, food atmosphere and staff all get 5 stars. Keep up the excellent work guys.

Was my first time there. Big fan of lobster roll sandwich and recently moving to JB decided to give it a try. Try the hot lobster roll $26 dollars, very simple and plain was ok not worth the $26, the Chef was a nice guy but the lady that was working there unfortunately had a sailors mouth. I saw her treating another lady with her daughter very disrespectful; they were waiting for their order, the lady name was yelled, she says I'm here, she give her over the window the food container and the lady said, it's to go please the truck attendant stick her arm out and give her a bag, made the lady bag her own food, lady said i'm missing a water and a coke and the attendant was annoyed that she forgotten and to make matters worst, as the lady and he daughter left walking away the attendant said, that lady was f____ing rude. Everyone heard including the lady and her daughter and another gentleman little girl that arrived on a bike also heard and shook his head. I would never, ever go back. To make matters worst, they screw my order an I paid $79.56 for 3 lobster rolls. I'm big on service and customer service is a "duty" not a choice. Unfortunately the owner-chef will suffer because of that rude attendant behavior he has working there. BE AWARE!

Been loving Dog Pound Dogs for 4 years since its start in Ocean Breeze. The food's always spot on, service is great, and the prices are fair. Marcus is an awesome chef with a big heart. His lobster roll is the best in the Treasure Coast, and everything from the $5 deals to the mahi sandwiches is delicious. It's a great place to bring friends and family, right across from the sailing center in Jensen Beach. Plus, Marcus generously donates meals to Hearts & Hands Ministry, helping those in need in our community. Definitely worth a visit!

This place is not your average food truck. I would describe it more like. 5 star restaurant on wheels!! Food is fresh, menu is unique while also providing simple comfort foods. The chef is passionate about food and the proof is in your first bite.
