One of my favorite coffee spots in town! I'm not a fan of super sweet latte's but they are very accommodating and the half-sweet Milton latte is my favorite! I also like to study here, the environment is cozy and has a variety of seating. It can get packed during meal times, but is very calm and quiet during those odd hours. Highly recommend this place for great coffee and yummy brunch!

I ordered the Captain Crunch latte. It had a slight onion flavor as if it had been sitting next to the everything bagels too long. I'm not sure what happened there. But my breakfast sandwich was delicious, and the atmosphere here is great!

I have been a frequent visitor of The Drowsy Poet in all Pensacola locations and in Pace, and they have all been great! This location has food, and its delicious.

We go through the drive-through often. One time they messed up my order and when I called to let them know, they said they would give me my next order completely free! What a great policy to have. They will definitely always have my business because they are so loyal and friendly to their customers!

Nice place to have a decent cup of coffee, with a good atmosphere and friendly staff - but how did we get to charge 5$ for a medium cup of COFFEE ???? I know everything has gone up, but gawleee… it’s just not right - Let’s go Briben !!

Great for other people. I am not allowed there due to alcoholism from my past. I understand. I wish I could get a second chance. They let me have an art show there when they first opened. Very kind of them. Still not allowed to be a vendor. The art seemed non Christ centric. I like that the Bible is openly studied and celebrated there. I remember I did tai chi out front when they asked me to leave. I have schizophrenia and thought I was training to compete at the push hands competition in Tai Pei. I am currently working on being in a place to be a customer again in the future.

So this gem was hand made by a barista and they are always so sweet here. They also have a machine that will write like I love you or like 10 other things into your coffee so pretty cool. Plus their coffee bean is really well done not over roasted like some other places

It is a GREAT place for soups, sandwiches.and a place to relax.

While I frequent Coffee Break often and they are always outstanding, this review is for the owner. My son lost his wallet and we have been looking everywhere for it. This morning, the owner returned the wallet to my house since we live close by. What an incredible, stand up man! This is a true testament to his character! There are kind people in this world still and I am truly grateful. We will continue to support his business as we always have.

Just returned to England from a 2 week vacation in the area, Coffee Break Cafe in Pace was my go to for latte's each day, fast friendly service, excellent coffee, huge blueberry muffins,and tasty sandwiches (The King Richard roast beef ...WOW!!!!) I highly recommend this establishment and I will certainly use again when I'm over that way next year

This place is tampering with people’s coffee. I try and tip every other time I get coffee. Every time I don’t tip my coffee taste awful and it’s overloaded with cinnamon. The picture is actually after the cinnamon was spread around a bit. Mind you the coffees I order do not contain any cinnamon. I know there is no way I can be the only one whose coffee is being messed with. We stopped going here, because the coffee is being tampered with by an employee. I wanted to post this for others and maybe for the manager to see. It’s going to get someone really sick if this keeps happening. The employee who messed with my coffee both times wrote her initials on my stamp card.

Amazing place! Kind and attentive staff. First timer and I was treated as if I was a regular. Definitely will become my go to location when I’d like to get work done on my computer. 10/10

You can't find a more friendly community centered location than this place! Scott is an excellent host and assures that everyone who visits are welcomed and appreciated. The coffee food are fresh and delicious. You'll be thoroughly impressed if you visit and make some friends over a cup of coffee!

A hidden in plain sight jewel in Pace. Plenty of seating to relax, study, office for a few hours if need be. Coffee is smooth, unless you want the more earth tone Sumatra. Recommend French Press, steep for your liking, Recommend 4 minutes to get the full flavor of the coffee. Make it personal, it's your time. Food is made to order or grab and go if in a hurry. Take a break here and recharge.

A great spot to work remotely in Pace, FL!☕️ What I like about each Drowsy Poet location is that the atmosphere varies for each! Atmosphere: The space is separated into two parts where the left-hand side is where you order your menu items as well as can browse the tables that have jewelry, t-shirts, and more! The right-hand side has a beautiful, textured ceiling that really brings the seating area space together! Service: Even though they are busy, they are very quick to take down and prepare orders! Menu items: I just wanted a simple iced vanilla latte with almond milk when I went! The coffee at the Poet is always good:) I really like their booth seating area that’s closer to the register. It’s isolated enough to get stuff done but is open enough to the space to see what’s going on in the shop (also close to the restroom)! I plan to come back again to try their sandwiches; I’ve heard they’re very tasty!

Always friendly with a good selection of drinks and food. Atmosphere is peaceful with a good ability to interact with your party. The parking lot is routinely packed. So finding a spot can be tricky. Recommend this place for coffee or cafe foods vastly over the two chains up the road that specialize in coffee.

Met a friend for coffee. I love supporting local businesses. This is a local fav. You won’t regret it! I had a blueberry muffin (I took half of it home…so huge) and a latte with an extra shot of espresso made with almond milk… soooo good!

A very cool coffee place. Sitting there was a pleasure. The place gives a cozy feeling and is buzzing with customers. The food was great and I got an hot chocolate which I enjoyed greatly. The staff were kind and polite even though they were super busy with both the drive through and the store being full. Might need to wait a bit in line but nothing major.

Introduced to DP by my niece and her hubby. Their chunky monkey 🐒 is non existent in Kansas! So always a treat when we come to Pensacola. Food is great too ;)

Everything was so wonderful! The staff was so helpful as this was my first time here. They went over the different options and answered all my questions. The prices were reasonable. I loved my Pumpkin Patch Latte, and my husband enjoyed his Strawberry Italian Cream soda. We got the King Richard, the Ham and Swiss Croissants (two so my daughter could have it for supper later as she loves this type of sandwich), and a half turkey sandwich with the tomato basil bisque. The King Richard has spicy mustard. I love spicy mustard normally, but a little goes a long way. This was caked on there. I know now to ask for a lighter touch as this was a great sandwich despite the mustard overload! My daughter and husband both immensely enjoyed their sandwiches. We're definitely coming back! The atmosphere was great too, if a bit more religious for my taste. Given the proximity to so many churches, though, they seem to really know their audience well. I liked the Ripple machine and the camping touches though!

We ordered a hot Carmel macchiato and an iced pumpkin pie latte. The Carmel macchiato was great. However, the iced pumpkin pie latte tasted mostly of milk. We will know in the future to ask for extra shots. The shop was fun and comfortable. The ripple latte printer is looks so fun! So many design options.

I have purchased the sausage egg and cheese croissant several times. Its been hot and delicious. I had low expectations for a coffee place serving food, but this place has been great.

The atmosphere was very chill and cute! The food and drink was good and came out fast. I got a toasted hamlet sandwich with some potato soup (soup of the day) and the byron chai latte- the sandwich was amazing and the soup was pretty good. The chai wasn’t my favorite and was pretty thin but once I added some creamer and cinnamon, it tasted much better. My partner got the tempest and tomato soup, which were both really good! We ended up switching soups because I liked the tomato soup better. Overall a great experience and would go back again!

This is my favorite coffee shop. Great coffee, great atmosphere, great place to meet with a friend over a cup of coffee or lunch. I like the 1/2 BLT sandwich and 1/2 cup of soup. The tomato basil bisque soup is delicious.

Very friendly staff and lovely store. Lots of coffee choices and had a good selection of sugar free syrup. That’s always hard to find a place with more than 1 or 2. I got a Longfellow special coffee made sugar free. It was fantastic!!

I love the coffee break cafe. If you love coffee and want to support a locally owned, family-owned, small business then look no further! I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve never had a bad experience. The staff is amazing, and the owners are lovely, Christian people who care about their customers and staff. The food and beverages are excellent! My personal favs are the iced “Poe” and the “Cinnamon Bun” lattes. (You can order seasonal drinks all year-round!) Their tomato basil soup is 10/10 *chef’s kiss!* It’s a wonderful place to have a date, work on a school assignments, or have a gathering with friends. Can’t wait to continue to support CBC for years to come!

I love this place. It’s amazing. The best coffee that I drank.

I adore this place I recommend to everyone I talk to. It's such a calming atmosphere and the workers there really do want you to have a good experience. I have sat there for hours just doing college work and never once felt like I should leave because of the workers. They have this latte machine where you put it under the heart and it writes something on there, recently I put a Bible verse and sit there and meditate over it while studying and it is super calming especially with the Christian music in the background. I can't wait to bring more friends here.

This coffee shop was AMAZING! We went with 2 large “Milton’s” and we were quite pleased with them! We ended up coming back for lunch the same day and equally enjoyed the broccoli and cheddar soup and Boarshead ham sandwich! The shop was super clean, friendly staff and adorable gifts! We will definitely be back again!

! Ask the Customer what kind of Milk they want to drink. It’s my fault for not saying I cannot do dairy but I was in a rush and forgot. If they included those details or questions to lead the customer to the best experience I think this cafe will be my go to shop when in a hurry. Nice interior and good quality roasting or coffee.

The food was off the chain. I had a half sandwich and soup meal. The soup I got was broccoli and cheddar cheese. An there was chunks of cheddar in the soup. My buddy Scott got the same kind of meal but he got a BLT and their Tomatoes an basil. Then Scott went back to get another BLT and the Brock and cheddar soup. To me it's gonna be worth the drive from South Alabama all the way over to Pace, Florida.

Cozy atmosphere and a wonderful local spot. They were hosting a band in their front area. I came for the amazing coffee, which was made quickly and tasted perfect, as usual. The baristas were kind and welcoming.

I love this place! Food, coffee and atmosphere is great, love that they have gluten free options (celiac friendly). Awesome place to visit with friends, do homework, read your Bible or just sit in peace and relax while enjoying your delicious coffee/food. Also, they sell pretty cool merchandise in the store. The quintessential cafe. Coffee? Check. Lattes? Check. Slushie version of their specialty mixes? Check! Well-made Sandwiches? Check. Baked goods? Check! Cozy seating in a relaxed atmosphere? Check! It's perfect for a nice date. Sip and snack while you talk. Great for a change of pace for the remote employee. Service is always fast and polite too! So glad I have something like this so close to home.

Network business meeting had a chai tea Latte and it was very good the atmosphere was great they kept the tables clean when people got up all the simple things in a restaurant in coffee house you're looking for

We love the coffee break! In the morning, they have amazing breakfast sandwiches. In the afternoon their soups (especially the brunswick stew) and sandwiches (especially the chicken salad) are delicious. Their coffee and specialty drinks are good any time of the day. We eat here a few times a month.

I was thrilled with the ambiance of this shop. The staff and owners are so kind, there are tons of cute decor items and clothing to buy. The coffee and my bagel were delicious! No need to drive all the way to pea ridge when you live on woodbine!

Great coffee, the friendly staff helped me out with ordering I wasn't familiar with the menu, they were really nice. They also have pecan candies that are really hard to find. It's worth stopping if nothing else, for the pecans

This place is the best coffee shop in Pace. I’m always greeted with a smile by a genuinely friendly staff. Atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. I recommend the “Poe” for a drink…. It’s the most delicious caffeinated beverage on the planet. Lastly, I’ll mention the staff again…. They are truly THAT awesome!

I called up today with an issue regarding them over charging me. I used to come here twice a week and spend over $25 a week. After complaining about an issue i was directed to Meredith!! Wow her customer service skills need some work. You see i’m British and she couldn’t understand me!! Instead of doing what i do in my place of work if i speak to someone with a strong accent i would say…. I’m sorry it’s a bad line can you say that again. She told me several times ‘I can’t understand you’ I asked if it was a bad line she said no, I can’t understand you!!! At which point i told her. Do you know what. Keep the money i won’t be back!!!

Being away from home where we have a coffee house that we visit every other day because the coffee is good, we were nervous that we wouldn't find anything that we wanted and even if we did, we were nervous it wouldn't be near as good as the one back home. We couldn't have been more wrong!!!!! Service and drinks were fantastic!!!!! We will be back over the rest of our stay.

Went here for the first time while visiting family in Milton from Indiana. Very impressed by staff and the cleanliness of the store. I ordered hot chai (I think the Byron, if I remember correctly?) and it was excellent. I'm a creative writing MFA student so I really got a kick out of the drinks and whatnot named after literary figures. Your merchandise was pretty cool, too. Highly recommend.

My kids and I have been here a number of times since moving to the area, and it never disappoints. The owner and staff are incredibly kind and friendly. The drinks I’ve ordered are delicious and not too sweet, and my kids feel super special to order off the kids menu (it’s the small things, ya know…). Definitely recommend this place!

We are from out of town, but will be remembering this for next time! The coffee has a wonderful flavor, and the drinks are not overly sweet. (He had a latte; I had a cappuccino) We also ordered food, and the portion size for the price is good! (I had a quiche; he had a buffalo sandwich) The cafe has a really friendly environment, with a lot of different seating options. The staff were very nice, I hope to come again!
