Only 3 servers the night we were there...a Saturday...a couple reunion groups there. Started warning us that service would be slow before we even ordered... never a good sign. An hour to get an entree....prime rib average but a little cool from sitting I would guess...had a mixed drink... mostly soda. Room was tight for group size....we may have exceeded projection for size.....so seems a like nice place ran by good folks... suffering from lack of staff issues post covid like many others.

Our family's favorite restaurant for years! Delicious food, most friendly staff & owner you've ever met, beautiful scenery & atmosphere. Just all around good food & good people. Make sure you try the bread pudding!

What a great find in the middle of this mountainous region! Service was great and the food was delicious! We were a large table and they were more than capable of sitting us! Food was made fresh and the quality of everything was elevated the ribeye was perfectly cooked! I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice lunch on the weekend.

We had a great dinner at the Farm yesterday! There were 10 of us in a private dining room celebrating the life of a beloved family member. The food was delicious and our server managed the 10 of us with grace and efficiency. I wish we lived closer, the farm is our go to restaurant every time we are in the St. Clairsville - Wheeling area. Everyone should try the mushroom ravioli! Side veggies perfectly done!

This is one of those places that is a little off the beaten path, but well worth the drive. I myself had the lobster bisque to start and then the pork chops, homemade mashed potatoes and noodles, along with grilled asparagus. Delicious!!!!

This place is about 45 minutes from where I live and it’s definitely worth the drive. Great place to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Food is excellent and the service is always top notch.

One of the Valley's hidden gems that I never even knew existed. Great food, excellent service, I loved every minute of it. We didn't have a reservation, but they were nice enough to squeeze us in. If you've never been there, check it out! You're tastebuds will thank you later 😁

A stunning restaurant with an amazing countryside setting. We sat on the patio with incredible views. The charcuterie board was perfect, and the prime rib Saturday night special for $25 can't be beat! One of our absolute favorites!

Must visit! This place hits all the button you look for in a great restaurant. A wide variety of familiar items in a simple menu and huge on flavor. Home made and literally in the middle of farm land. If your lucky you'll meet Charlie and the amazing owner. We live 7 hours away but we will be back!

The restaurant is unique. The tables are set up in different rooms of the house. Great concept. The food was excellent, however the service was lacking. We were a party of 7, so we made reservations. My mom ordered coffee. The waitress brought everyone else's drinks and said a new pot of coffee was brewing. It took two trips before she remembered to bring the coffee. The bread was amazing! It was still hot and the butter (not margarine) melted perfectly. There were 6 slices for 7 people. We had to ask for another loaf, whereas an attentive server would have noticed the bread was gone. After we ordered we had to wait an hour for our food to arrive. The waitress did not give us an update or apologize for the wait. I understand that she had other tables, but that's no excuse for substandard service. The chicken tenders had a good flavor, but were hard to chew, and there was a bone. The kitchen accommodated our dietary needs. Order takeout to avoid the poor service.

I got turned away on my birthday after driving completely out of the way to go there. I was told I had to have a reservation but yet their Facebook did not say that and this very young girl actually told me that I should have called and smiled. Sorry to ruin your birthday she said. Absolutely horrible and couldn’t care less. This place is so far out of the way and it was a Saturday, so by the time we got back to a town every where was packed. The funny thing is…. They weren’t that busy. An older couple told us that in the parking lot, that also wasn’t very full. I mean if you want to require reservations you should make it known on your site for those of us that aren’t locals who drive from hours away. Horrible. Thanks so much for wasting our time.

Visited this restaurant yesterday with a couple friends….and it was absolutely a pleasant experience! My steak was cooked perfectly (medium) and everything was delicious. Staff were very friendly and attentive, also. The restaurant is a beautiful old 19th century farmhouse, with so much character!!! Feels like having a meal at home! We will be back!!!

Couldn't imagine a better dining experience. Service was wonderful. Our meals were great. We sat in the new section in back and had a wonderful view.

Spectacular, atmosphere inside and outside. Each room is so uniquely decorated, you have to see it, it is lovely, just breath taking. The weather was beautiful and the scenery on the outside us as beautiful as on the inside. We met the owner and she us a true gem. Staff is very friendly and helpful on your choices.

During the pandemic we supported the farm by ordering carry out because we support small businesses..but now when they are to busy they won’t offer their loyal customers carry out option so back to red lobster who will sell to us every time , not just when it’s convenient for them..no more supporting people it’s short memories.

Finally got to have dinner here last night! Definitely my FAVORITE restaurant now! The food was AMAZING, decent prices, the staff are very friendly and on top of their game. The best of all is the atmosphere, it’s perfectly beautiful and the view’s outside are gorgeous! Great place and great people! Highly recommend this place!!!!

Arriving around 1:30 the parking lot was full but we had made reservations and were quickly seated. The individual rooms are stunning where groups of many or more intimate ones are for just a few. We chose the new addition where it was beautiful and sunlit on this early spring day. The menu was extensive and we had a difficult time narrowing our choice. We enjoyed appetizers of the crab stuffed mushrooms. The homemade bread served with the appetizer arrived warm and crusty. But... The entrees. The special of the day was a half rack of ribs. These were not your run of the mill ribs covered in sauce. These were lovely with glazed apples. Wonderful. We also had the porterhouse pork chop, stuffed Italian peppers and ribeye steak. All the dishes were excellent and we would order all of them again. Can't wait to make the hour and a half drive to visit again.

We have had dinner several tines and the food was very good but tonight not so much! We had a reservation but as soon as we were seated, which took a while, it was clear that we should have gone elsewhere. The hostess said they had five parties there tonight. We arrived at 5:15 and were seated in a room by ourselves and the hostess said she would find us a server??? Find us a server! A nice young girl did show up after the hostess brought us drinks. When the server finally did show up we were ready to order. By 6:10 still no food! Clearly they were overbooked and understaffed! The food was terrible! I ordered Vivian’s chicken tenders and a baked potato. My potato was so overcooked it was brown. The chicken tenders were very overcooked, not baked! I am also going to add that we were not asked if we wanted dessert and this was the SECOND time this happened. The farm is known for there desserts. This restaurant has gone by the way of so many others. NOT ENOUGH HELP! Sad! I will definitely go elsewhere in the future.

Sally and The Farm staff pulled together a wonderful private memorial lunch for my mom, on a weekend, on short notice. The family style meal was comfort food at it's best and the servers were excellent (dealing with a room of 60+ people). They required little direction on my part, which was a relief. Thank you again to Sally and the staff.

Food was great, roast beef was a little dry, but nothing a drizzle of gravy could not fix. The service was fantastic. The server kept up on everyones drinks. The only downside was the atmosphere. I was with a large group and we were placed in a large one room reception hall with 2 other large groups. The other groups were loud and I feel that our outing could have been more intimate. I know the other groups were not the restaurants fault, and we did go a few days before Christmas. So, they were very busy.. The tables were also not suitable for a large party. (They were round and not rectangular). Overall, it was a wonderful experience all around.

I have loved The Farm Restaurant since the first time I was able to go there. Sally and her staff are amazing and very professional! We had my sister's baby shower there and everything turned out amazingly.

I love the atmosphere and look of this place, which makes me willing to pay a little extra for a meal here. I got the pumpkin ravioli with maple Dijon glazed chicken recently and it was amazing.

Everything was really good, except my husband's roast beef dinner was a little too well done. We also wished they had glass glasses for their cold drinks. The bread was delicious, also the homemade gonochi was delicious. We will go back. The Murray family.

The food was done to perfection and very delicious. Kudos to the chef. Our hostess, Kitty welcomed us at the front door with a lovely smile and escorted us to our table. Beautiful lady! The staff was very efficient and friendly. The ambiance of the whole restaurant and the grounds was warm and welcoming. Definitely worth the price we paid! You really need to try it!!

Would not recommend! My wife and I tried to use this place for our wedding reception. After setting up a time to meet with management to tour the facility, they decided to not show or even respond back to us after rudely leaving us waiting at their restaurant waiting in the cold like idiots. Guess this place is doing so well they don’t need new business. All I can say is good luck!

Fantastic restaurant. Food is always great and service is really good. The restaurant is in an old farm house that has lots of character. The staff will usually show you around if you'd like to see all the different rooms.

Was there today for Mother's Day and the food and service was excellent. Had the Lasagna and would recommend ordering it and putting it on the everyday menu.

You have to try the bread pudding. It is to die for. I havent had a bad dish at the farm and have been eating there for years.
