I recently visited Farm House Exchange, and it was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. My friend and I stood at the counter waiting to check out, and multiple employees saw us and made direct eye contact. Yet, they just continued to stand around in the back, gossiping and completely ignoring us. Not a single one of them had the decency to come over, tell us they'd be with us shortly, or even acknowledge our presence. When someone finally did decide to ring us up, there wasn't an apology, not even a simple "sorry for the wait." It was as if they couldn't care less that we had been standing there waiting, feeling completely disrespected. The entire experience was frustrating and unprofessional. I won't be coming back and definitely won't be recommending this place to anyone.

I have wanted to check this place out since moving to the area, and I'm glad I did! My husband and I were quite excited about the selections of meat in the freezer since we prefer to buy steaks locally instead of the grocery store. We also took home a slice of pie and some fruit. We'll be back for sure!

Today, my family went to the store and had ordered multiple items from the menu for dinner. We do not live in the area, but like to stop there for our travels to Pennsylvania. We had been waiting for approximately 15 minutes for the food to be made. My two young children said they had to use the restroom urgently. Knowing that young toddlers cannot wait at times, My wife had asked if they could use the stores restroom. The store had signs saying "no public restrooms". we understand they don't want anyone to use them from the public. But when you are waiting for food that you paid for, it seems like a common courtesy to let someone use the restroom in an urgent matter for a young toddler who is learning to hold their bladder. Employees told my wife that we had to drive down the road to the Sheetz to use their restroom instead (Which we did after we got our food). It takes awhile to pack toddlers in the car and get them out each time you stop. My wife wanted to purchased additional baked goods after we were done eating (like usual), as we have enjoyed purchasing items in the past, but since we had to rush to the Sheetz, we did not come back. We were disappointed with how the situation was handled and feel like we should take our business elsewhere for now on.

The sandwiches are excellent! We came to eat there because of the positive reviews, and they did not disappoint!

The sandwich was great. The service was professional not necessarily inviting. The atmosphere was cold.

The Farmhouse Exchange catered a baby shower I hosted, and it couldn't have been better! I was extremely impressed with the menu options, pricing, and ease of ordering. The pickup was smooth. All the food was incredible, and I highly recommend them for any party!

Everything about this place is awesome! You definitely should take a ride and check it out!!!

There are no restrooms or porta potty for patrons.

The place is amazing and the baked items are to die for, we did not try a sandwich but should have the place is small but was packed .we ill be back. Try the breads and cookies, out of this world

Food is great. Friendly staff, clean store an deli. Love their homemade breads an rolls. Plus there salads an frozen chicken, beef & bacon. They have tables outside to sit at.

I highly recommend the smoked bacon and smoked ham steak. You will probably want to buy everything you see in the store. Lots of great selections. My wife and I will surely return.

Right next to Gateway Candyland!(part of the store) My daughter bought some 🍞 homemade bread! The service there is always excellent! Genuinely very nice people working there! Love the atmosphere! I recommend any and all people to visit and find out just how great of an establishment this place is! They make you feel right at home and you'll definitely keep coming back!

Great place for a meal/homemade snacks and goodies! They also have plenty of fresh grab n' go options too! They have some seating outside.

Second time visiting, slightly overpriced, no public restrooms for a place that has sit down outside and food/drinks which is weird. Really cute on the inside. Have had baked goods both times the first was a cake and the second time a cinnamon roll. Both were really dry. The pies look really good though so I would probably stick to that. Overall, it’s okay because it’s cute and convenient but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there again.

I come here every few days and it's always great. Sandwiches are freshly made and the workers are nice and friendly.

I have been wanting to visit here for some time!! The food they post on their fb page always looks sooooo yummy! They did not disappoint!! We got several bakery items and some lunch meat. We didn't eat lunch there because they only offer a few items and my son is picky and there wasn't anything he would eat but we did get some stuff to go. I want to go back because the pesto and herb bread were delish!!

If you want a quick homemade lunch, this is place to go. They offer MTO sandwiches and they are delicious! There is only outdoor seating. The KeyLime Pie is to die for!!

Great stop off route 15 south of PA line

Food is a bit pricy, but the quality is worth it.

awesome sandwiches. great baked goods and deli counter. but the real gem is the fresh frozen local beef. we stop on our trips from FL to NY. in each direction. fresh and tasty and very reasonable prices. the sirloin steaks were huge!

The best sandwiches in the area by far! Always fresh with lots of toppings, good bread and they are huge! A great selection of baked goods, chips, snacks, drinks and cooler items. This is a gem of a market.

My wife and her friends and my daughters love the sandwiches here. I do, too, but I'm usually on a diet.

Stopped in beautiful little market but found it was just okay....kinda high priced. Giving it neutral since I really didn't purchase. Candy and Ice Cream Shop attached .

I am surprised there are no public restrooms at a place that sells sandwiches. Prices are kind of expensive too. The crab sandwich was not real crab.

Italian Panini special this week was excellent! We visited Friday evening- walked in at 6:30pm and ordered our two sandwiches right away. Two other people were waiting so it was busy, but not absolutely slammed. Two of the employees were incredibly rude- snapping at customers wanting to check out, talking about how 7pm can’t come fast enough, and they even snapped rudely at a customer who asked if she needed to use one piece of paper per sandwich or could she just write them both on one sheet (valid question for a new customer). My two sandwiches were complete at 6:52, I then asked the girl working as cashier if I could buy a ground meat bundle as well and she was very nice, helpful, and was pleasant. She was clearly new as we stop in frequently and I haven’t seen her before. I thanked her and loudly thanked the other two employees for making our sandwiches and they just looked at me, did not say anything back. I would encourage the owner to have a serious discussion about employee morale because while I sincerely enjoy your sandwiches and all of the other homemade goods you offer- I cannot stand rude customer service. A smile and a thank you or a you’re welcome goes a long way.

The special was an Italian Panini which was excellent. The meat was abundant and sliced thin the way I like it! Was disappointed with the key lime pie whip is my favorite. It wasn’t tart enough-too sweet. Maybe that’s a personal preference. The woman behind the counter acted annoyed that 1) I didn’tknow you ordered at the other end of the counter and 2) I asked for pie at the last minute. She said,”Okay, but I’ll have to cut a pie for that.”. 🤷‍♀️ I’ll be back and maybe the counter person will make me change my review with their cheery disposition. 🙂

Such a fun place to visit. Great sandwiches, pies, donuts, prepared sides, snacks, and meats. Connected to Gateway Candyland for soft serve, scooped ice cream, over-the-top sundaes.

Amazing pastries, breads, ready made foods, deli and their fresh made sandwiches were delicious. I think the advertising would be more helpful for business if it said bakery and deli. I had no idea what “The Farm House” offered so I had to stop in and was surprised to find out. A definite must to try. We even traveled up from Frederick to buy a pie for a friend. Delicious!!

The variety of meats and cheeses and baking items was amazing.

I always get a bologna sandwich with mayo and honey mustard on it there is so much meat on the sandwich. And is extremely good I can make two meals out of a sandwich
