The cake was amazing! She made the cake exactly how I described it, was bought for our first anniversary to share with in laws in the area that couldn't make it to our wedding. Flour Girl Bakehouse and Shirley are the best! She worked with me to create an incredible cake design. She had suggestions and also was very accommodating. And not only did everything look like a work of art, it tasted amazing! Beyond the cake - which was THE highlight of my mom’s birthday, Shirleys cheesecake, cookies, and pies are incredible! I’ve already put in my order for Fathers Day. And her customer care is beyond compare- she delivered on time, had printed instructions, an oops bag, and followed up the next day. I’m so glad we found this bakery!!!!

Flour Girl Bakehouse made the most beautiful birthday cake. It was my Mother's 94th Birthday and it was her 'dream cake!' Strawberry cake with Strawberry filling with stunningly beautiful flower designs and a Birthday Card that matched the flower design on the cake! So unique! It served about 300 people and everyone raved about the taste and its beauty! Shirley is an amazing baker! She prepared a birthday cake for my mother's 88th birthday and not only was it beautiful and delicious, but it was also sugar-free (for the diabetic guest) AND gluten-free (for the gluten-sensitive guest)! It has been ages since our whole family could share the same cake and enjoy it! How she did it, and did it so very well, astonished us all. My husband and I were planning a mermaid themed birthday for our two year old. The invitations were used as inspiration for the cupcakes and goodies. Communication was amazing through the entire process…kind, honest and respectful. We ordered dozen cupcakes, 3 dozen personalized cookies and as bonus we received an extra gift, after sharing some personal information. Neither my husband nor I particularly like frosting, as it tends to be too sweet, but the frosting on the cupcakes and cookies was so delicious. It was not too sweet and was perfect on the treats. The sugar cookies were amazing..so buttery. Our guests complimented the flavor over and over. We ordered lemon cupcakes. They were perfect. They came was light and airy with a hint of lemon. Honestly, what we received was even better than we imagined.

I just tried the Flour Girl for the first time. I had seen all her amazing pictures of cakes, cheeses cakes, cookies, etc on FB. I went with the peanut butter stuffed brownies. They were packaged like a bakery and they were absolutely incredible!! Everybody loved them. She was so nice to deal with! She delivered them to me on time as promised. I ordered a mix of cupcakes for a birthday party (chocolate, vanilla and sf) with the Doge Dog decorations. They were adorable and delicious. I'm sorry to report that they were eaten before I got a picture because they were such a hit. Also, great price and took a task like that off a mom's plate. I never could have made something so cute. Being new to the area, I wasn't familiar with many places , other than local grocery stores to find birthday cakes. My wife’s 60th birthday seemed too special an occasion for the standard commercial cake . After a few clicks on the internet , I had the good fortune of finding The Flour Girl Bakehouse. Shirley, (a.k.a THE Flour Girl ) was a true delight to work with. Her friendly personality and helpful suggestions made the cake and decorating selections an easy process . When the cake, cookies and cupcakes arrived (delivered personally by Shirley) it was abundantly clear that she is a true baking artist . Not only were all the treats beautiful -they were absolutely delicious ! The special touches were perfect , from personalized cookies to personalized cupcake wrappers . The care and attention to detail was just amazing . Needless to say, everyone -including most of all- the birthday girl- were thoroughly impressed and appreciative . For a special occasion , the Flour Girl Bakehouse will be my first stop for delicious treats and delicious cakes.

Shirley did an outstanding job on my husband's 80th birthday cake and cupcakes. The design ideas were hers and my guests loved them. I've found a baker in the Chicago area that will make the same cake and cupcakes. Shirley sent me the pics she used so that I could have them replicated. When I had trouble printing them, she offered to print and mail them to me! If I could, I would have given her 6 stars!

Absolutely amazing I recommend I live in New York state and my daughter moved to FL the flour girl bakehouse did a fabulous job making the cookie cake I wanted for my daughter birthday made a card to go with it and delivered it on her birthday day will order again for future things dont hesitate to order

She did amazing with the 3 dozen of cupcakes, half vanilla and half chocolate. Everyone kept complimenting on her cupcake, going back for second and third. It was so soft on the inside and not overly sweet, just right balance. She did awesome and I will highly recommend her to anyone who wants freshly made cupcakes or even anything she makes. I made the right choice! The money is worth it! I wish I took pictures before everyone devour them.

I contacted Shirley asking if she could make chocolate cupcakes and deliver them to my grandma in Punta Gorda. She was extremely accommodating and hand delivered them with extra chocolates and a beautiful note! My grandma was so surprised and loved them! She said they were delicious!! I order a birthday cakefrom The Flour Girl Bakehouse for my grandmothers 97th birthday, and right from the get-go the service was exceptional! I live abroad, and my two sisters live out of state, but I was easily able to describe the cake I wanted, and place my order. Shirley quickly verified the design, and she let me know that she could create a handmade card with a personalized message to go with the cake! She made me a German chocolate cake for my husband's birthday yesterday it was the most delicious thing any of us have ever tasted... This is the 3rd time she has made us a cake and every time we are just pleased beyond belief

I was so excited to find Flour Girl Bakehouse and Shirley. Just a week prior to Thanksgiving she agreed to squeeze me in as she closed her orders off. She probably regretted it by Thanksgiving as I came to her with an old family Recipe that my late mother had made for us every Thanksgiving. My family was coming to my house this year as the idea of a Florida vacay worked in well with Thanksgiving. Shirley made us the most perfect 10” huge (feels like it weighs a ton with all the pralines and sliced almonds on top) Pumpkin Cheesecake. My brothers and family were so touched! It was delicious! Thank you Shirley for bringing a little bit of Mom to the table on Thanksgiving ❤️❤️‼️

Shirley made amazing cupcakes for my moms birthday! I wasn’t able to be there in person for my mom but Shirley made a custom card and put lots of love into her cupcakes for my mom. Highly recommend! My mom said they are sooooo delicious :)

I contacted her just a couple of days before Father's Day, looking for a last minute gift for my dad that lives in Florida. She made delicious cinnamon rolls and delivered them to him, warm from the oven, on Saturday morning. And she even included a bag of extra frosting (his favorite part!) and sent me pictures through text of him enjoying the gift! 10/10, would order from again!

Let me just tell you how delicious these Key Lime mini cakes are!! The cake was moist and the key lime frosting is sooooo Good! Just like Key Lime pie but better! I would totally eat the frosting with a spoon or dip the graham crackers in it. I love all things sweet and this one is a new fave.

Absolutely delicious treats! I got to sample her Easter creations, and they were fantastic. The chocolate peanut butter egg was my favorite! It had the perfect balance of chocolate to peanut butter. The mini cheesecakes, cookies, and cupcakes were all so good! Definitely highly recommend using her for any holiday treats you need!

I am a small business owner, living across the country and was looking online to find a small business, locally owned company to send a good friend of mine cupcakes for her birthday. I randomly came across the Flour Girl Bakehouse and couldn't have been happier!
