The food is incredible and the service is amazing. I used to always enjoy the fajita gyro. This time I tried the rice bowl and probably going to make it my go to meal. I just might have to go once a week! So good.

The BEST gyro I’ve ever had!! Dwane was the best in welcoming us and explaining the menu. Service here is top tier and so friendly! I didn’t get a chance to take a picture of my meal because I ate it so fast! But trust me it even looked beautiful! Such a neat wrap and they never skimp out on portions! Absolutely delicious! I would drive an hour out of my way to eat here again! Most everything is made in store which made it so much tastier!!

I have not been to The Gyro Shop in years.It is now under new ownership.The staff is very friendly.The shop was very clean and very inviting.I got purchased 3 classic gyros.While I waited the staff and I talked about a few things on their menu.The also have fresh baked cookies and cheese cakes.They gave me one of the cookies and it was great.The gyro was great also.The toppings were nice and fresh.I will definitely go back and try other things on the menu.

Soooo WHEEEW CHILE!!!! This restaurant has been around for awhile and I have always wanted to try them. Last week hubby brings home some fries they weren't fresh just some he had leftover. Even the leftover cold fries were good. So imagine how the fresh hot loaded fries tasted.........So GOOOOOOOD! The classic gyro is PHENOMENAL. The customer service superior, very patient and kind hearted. Clean and warm atmosphere. ENJOY I SURE DID!

This place is absolutely amazing. My spouse and I are constantly here grabbing something to eat. Our favorite currently is the Greek Nachos and Spanakopita. We occasionally will eat other items. The Gyros are amazing. The chicken is always soft and never tough. The rice bowl is very filling and we end up sharing it. The desserts, especially the carrot cake are phenomenal. Love this place and will always choose here above anywhere else in Hinesville to eat.

I used to frequent this place a year ago when I worked in Hinesville... such good food and owner was always friendly. Was able to go back to today for my favorite gyro salad with humus and pita bread side. Well... safe to say nothing has changed!.. still great food and friendly faces. You better try them!!

Immediately greeted when I walked in and told them I did not know what I wanted because I’ve never been there before. Dwayne immediately started telling me about the fantastic food they serve here. I bought a large gyro and upgraded my side to all the way fries and a large drink. First of all the large drink is enormous! Secondly the food was amazing! All for under $15! The food was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend you check out one of my new favorite places in Hinesville.

The gyros are incredible. If you’re a service member looking for gyros that taste like the ones you got from Germany/Poland rotations, this is the place to go. Plus the guys here are some of the most friendly people. Very cool spot.

I had been hearing a lot about this restaurant since it's been under new management and decided to give it a try. The place was empty when I visited, so I was able to order immediately. I didn't have to wait too long for my food to be prepared. They have two stacks of menus sitting on the counter. When I entered, I grabbed one thinking that was the entire menu, but it was only one page. So, if you're taking a menu to go, be sure to grab a page from both stacks. The owner and the cooks were very nice. We chatted as I awaited my food. The food was just okay. Perhaps, because I've been to Greece and had authentic food, I'm a bit biased. I absolutely did not like the presentation of the food in the to go box (see video). I would advise putting the tzatziki sauce in one of those 2 oz containers instead directly in the to go box. My lunch left a lot to be desired. However, they have Greek fries on the menu, and I am open to going back to give that dish a try. I was getting a prescription filled at krogers and seen the Gyro shop and decided to try it out. Greeted as soon as I entered the door! Wish I would have caught their names, but they were fun and entertaining as I told them it was my first time there! The younger gentleman broke down the entire menu for me!
