What a fun and vibrant group! I haven't been here in a long time, and I came for the karaoke guy named DJ Damo. It's so nice to be able to be in a room full of happy people, having fun, drinking out of a glass, eating good food and not having to hear any feedback. It's a rarity around here, so if you're looking for fun vibrant people who aren't afraid to laugh and aren't being told to not laugh in an Irish pub, this is the place to go. See you there for karaoke!

Nice pub, food was good & the service was very friendly. Unfortunately, we had to leave before the live Irish music was set up.

We found this place years ago. The food, service and atmosphere was awesome. We had the fried mushrooms, the mussels and the cod fish and chips. It was all, so delicious. It was so good I came back the next night and got the fried mushrooms and mussels again also the shepherds pie. Delicious!! I would recommend The Harp to anyone. You won't be sorry

We had the best lunch here. I love grilled cheese with tomato sandwich and picked this place for that reason. The grilled cheese was grilled to perfection. It had a wonderful crunch, I cannot achieve at home. I think the bread was the key. Tasty cheese with the added bacon was a good combination. Both sandwich and fries were very hot when they were served. My husband got the fish and chips which he enjoyed. Very large, tasty portion also served very hot. Fries were actually too hot to eat when meal was first served.

A huge group of us landed at this place for a Tuesday night Karaoke. This place was great! In addition to the fantastic food and entertainment, the service at Harp was top-notch. The staff members were attentive and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure that our experience was nothing short of exceptional. The selection of songs was extensive, ensuring that there was something for everyone to enjoy. Amazing people!

Was promised a refund via Facebook message from the owner, which she never came through with. For a terrible cold meal at a Christmas buffet . The owner Margarette Jennings is a lying cheat who reneged on her promise . Not only was the food cold .There was a entrée of Roast beef that was supposed to be included in the buffet, according to an affiliate advertising company, which was omitted from the menu. If I wasn't there with a friend who was lonely for the holiday. I would have walked out right there, after I took the first bite of the cold food. But me and my wife didn't want to ruin our friends holiday.

I haven't had anything that I didn't like from here.the corn beef and cabbage are delicious, the rueben is delicious, and highly recommend the artichoke dip. Makes me proud of my heritage.

Perfect spot for my first St. Patrick's in Wilmington. I typically don't est corned beef but it was AMAZING! Nobody will ever beat it. Looking forward to returning for bangers and mash. Everyone was friendly and quick. Music was a great bonus after the bagpipers. See you again soon.

After a long and exhausting day we needed some good comfort food and a nice atmosphere to relax. This place was a pleasant hole in the wall with amazing food. Natalie, our server was also sweet as could be and was the absolute best. Recommend it for anyone looking for good old fashioned pub food and pub atmosphere.

I was not disappointed at all when we visited the restaurant. I had shepherds pie and it was delicious. It was just like it was when we visited Ireland. The staff, our waitress, was very friendly and funny too. I'm just sorry we found this place the last day of our month stay in Wilmington . If we had known about it sooner we would have visited more. I highly recommend you try them out. It may look like a dive when you first pull up, (those are usually done of the best foods,)but the food is excellent.

1st thought walking in...what a dive, but that's what I grew up on in the old 1st ward....food absolutely delicious. Shepherd's pie is one of the best I've had from Boston to Galway, Buffalo to AZ, Dublin to Chicago to Edinburgh. I thought I seen a post that stated "similar to ulrich's". Well I know that place, so I thought I'd give this place a whurl. I been very disappointed on my journey from bflo to my former home of many years. This place did not disappoint. If your missing the friendly"mind your own business", unless I talk to you bar patrons and food. Then this is definitely the place. I will come back time and time again...

Chicken wings were overcooked. Salad unremarkable, service was fair. If you want mediocre it's a good place to go.

Cabbage was cold, potatoes warm, and corned beef was good.

A little on pricy side for what you get ! BUT THE Fish and chips. Was perfectly cooked and battered. The corn beef and cabbage was great (was not a large portion ) easy to finish . The curry sauce personally wasn't worth the money especially for amount and that it a hot dipping sauce. But. Chrystal was great and on top of things .

The food was mediocre at best, the place needs some serious renovations and our waitress was high and or drunk! We were charged for two meals we never received, my mom never even got her dinner and the waitress was so messed up she could barely speak. Loved visiting here for years. Recently they changed their breakfast menu and took away all the sides. There are pretty limited options for kids. My wife and I would order our meals and a couple of sides our son would pick at as he just turned 2. Still a fun place to go with adult friends but not family friendly for breakfast anymore.

We came here for a late lunch and it was fairly empty but still took a few minutes to be seated, seems like they only had one gentleman working the entire floor. He was very friendly and he knew the menu well, he also knew what they were out of and it was a list almost half the menu long...which isn't a good look for a first time visitor and limited our selections greatly. I ordered a black and tan and the picture of a muddled mess is the first one they brought out. The waiter said that the bartender promised it was a black and tan she just wasn't good at making them. That's another thing that didn't bode well for this place. I sent it back and asked for a proper black and tan and thankfully the second beer picture is what was brought out. The waiter made good recommendations for food choices (from the limited list they had) and they were good choices! My friend ordered the beef and cabbage, my wife ordered the Sheppard's Pie, and I ordered the chicken pot pie. All the food choices were good, needed salt (which is fine because it's better than over salty), and smelled good. The dings on the rating are for the improper black and tan, the limited food options, but mostly the flies; there were flies...well, seemingly everywhere. Overall I would come here again but I would hope they would get those few things taken care of first.

This is another cool dive in Wilmington, especially if you're an Arsenal fan and like to watch soccer. This is probably the closest thing to an Irish pub around here.

Saturday breakfast at the harp is a pleasant experience, quiet, reasonably priced, and very good. It was slow,so I was tended to quite well, the food was perfectly cooked, my eggs Benedict was good,even if they used American bacon as opposed to Canadian or ham. All in all a very enjoyable experience sort of off the beaten path,for breakfast at least. Also,menu breakfast Saturday, small buffet on Sunday...only 2 breakfast days.

Assuming five stars is an "A" rating and one star is an "F", I give "The Harp" a "C". The food was okay. The draft beer could've been colder. The atmosphere is rather dark and gloomy, being more of a local "dive" than a neighborhood bar.

A friend was visiting from out of town to assist with some home renovations. We had worked all day and were deadbeat tired but hungry. I suggested this place since my friend is a beer drinker and I was in the mood for some. We were not disappointed. We both cleaned our plates clean. The corned beef was seasoned just right with the cabbage not too cooked. My friend had the Shepard’s pie and after visiting Ireland, said the dish was surprisingly very good. As our bellies got full and the beer kept flowing, me: 1; them: 4 we felt satisfied! While the food and drink were excellent, the staff were amazing! They were upbeat as they serviced our patronage and our waitress engaged us as we debated on whether or not Ed Sheeran is Irish. He’s not but his father is. When I first walked in I knew it was going to be a good night as the ambiance was demure with old world charm. The lights were dimmed just enough to offer cozy and not dark. I plan to visit again as it checked all the boxes of being my favorite “Cheers” bar! Cheers as in the sitcom that used to come on tv. The Harp has my heart. Will visit again soon!

I came for the Irish coffee, which was amazing! The staff was super helpful and nice, the Shepards pie was exactly what I needed on a cool day. Over all homey and happy atmosphere that will surely bring me back time and time again!

The Harp's menu offers many Irish selections, along with a choice of well-stocked sandwiches -- and I think the Steak Sandwich is my favorite, but that's just this week. Went for dinner…Gary was our server very friendly . Ordered fish sandwich with fries and herb crusted chicken with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Both were delicious !
