We've been coming to Hungry Greek since 2010 when we moved to Westchase. We used to love the gyros, salads, etc and always had enough food for a meal and some leftovers. The prices were always high but we thought we'll worth it. Over the years the portions have halved, the orders are always missing something, and the prices have increased year over year. I remember we used to order the greek gyro and it was over flowing with gyro meat and the pita was huge! Tonight we got a gyro and it was the size of a child's portion of a pita at a fast food restaurant. I actually thought it was a kids meal for my daughter. They also skimped on the meat and beets (I thought it was a vegetarian meal because I had to dig around for scraps of chicken, not even strips literally scraps) and they forgot the tzaziki sauce. That's the best part! Food costs have gone up, but customers shouldn't feel hungry after paying $15 plus for what looks nd tastes like an overpriced kids meal. Not worth it anymore. Do yourself a favor and make your own gyro at home for a tenth of the cost! Or find a greek restaurant outside of westchase that isn't ripping you off. They are definitely taking advantage of loyal customers.

Great concept quick execution the girls behind the counter are machines they keep that place going!! They are courteous, efficient, and polite. Writing this review in hopes that the management and ownership take note. The Tzatziki sauce is underwhelming and flavorless. The salad dressing for the Greek salad is awful, way too sweet all I could taste was sugar. This simplicity of a Greek dressing for a salad should never contain sugar. I could barely taste the red wine vinegar.

I've never been here before, but it won't be my last visit! My order consisted of a spinach pie meal and Grilled Chicken Greek salad. Pita bread and tzatziki sauce were included in the meal. The food was fresh and delicious! Will definitely come back!

We love the food but have noticed recently lots of the workers playing on their phones then prepping our food - without gloves or washing hands...

So the staff and food is good. Staff left the door open and it was so cold..everyone was cold. I finally closed it, asking permission. Just suggest they have a bit more awareness. Since we were cold, I ordered 2 Greek coffees. They don't serve coffee! Food is good, but that made it feel more like a chain, which is it but never felt like it and not local yumminess.

Staff is always really friendly! HOWEVER, I’ve found a piece of their oven scrubber in my salad before and just can’t bring myself to eat here anymore. Also, incredibly overpriced for the quality.

The excellent service along with the delicious food make this place one of my favorite local spots! I highly recommend to try this location (there's a few of them).

First time here. The food was not as fresh as I expected. Got the tabouli bowl with chicken. The chicken was good, beans tasted from can, hummus tasted pre-made no olive oil in it. Brown rice needed more flavor. That's my perspective but you give it a try.

We are regular customers and I have to say the staff is awesome, friendly, and always goes above and beyond. The gem of this location is the manager NICK! He is such a asset to your company and we keep coming back because he treats not only my elderly godparents as if they were his.....helping my godfather Jim get up out of chair if necessary and ANYTHING WE COULD POSSIBLY NEED. We literally come just to see NICK HE'S AWESOME. Thank you for the great service and AWESOME FOOD!!!!!!

Just got lunch to go. Was in and out in 10 minutes. Staff was super friendly. I was a little indecisive with choosing my meal because I wanted a chicken Philly pita but also told the guy taking my order I was craving cucumbers so I was debating getting a bowl instead. I chose to go ahead with the Philly pita. When I got my order the guy told me he put a few cucumbers on the side for me. Small act of kindness, made me day!

These folks are supremely awesome! We love getting food from here. It's super fast and their fare is fantastic. The souvlaki, gyros, Greek salads, Tabouli, and other dishes are wonderful! We've even had them cater several events we've held and we're extremely satisfied and appreciative of their service. Will definitely be back again and again... 😁😁😁

The Greek salad with the Gyro was fresh, clean, and had such a delicious taste it blew my mind! Where it fell short was the Lamb meat. It just tasted very...I don't know Commercial. It didn't taste like back home (nyc/nj) But all in all the Greek deserves 4 stars. Excellent food, service and decor.

Poor quality food not worth the high prices. Go elsewhere for lunch. I usually get the chicken pita. Only the first couple times was it good. The past few times I've been here though, the meat has been overcooked, tough and chewy. As in one-hundred chews, tires out your jaw chewy. Big uncut chunks as well. I've had to spit out bone fragments on occasion in some pieces, which is awkward to do at a public restaurant. On a past visit, I've also tried the steak kebab and it was tasteless and tough to point of being inedible. I sent that one back, explained it was too tough to eat, and asked for something else. They were ready to charge me for replacing it. They eventually did void it though afterward. The pita bread is good. The soup is interesting. Fries are fries. Staff could be better trained in preparing and cooking the meat, and acknowledging customers. A pita combo with fries and a drink is over $16. Too expensive for what they're serving. I've had enough. I won't be back.

Great food and excellent service! The young lady who picks up the phone to take the orders, I wish I remembered her name, is lovely, polite, and helpful. I love their Greek bowls with the protein options. I will definitely order again.

Been wanting to try this place for a while. My husband and I love Greek City and Greek Village and this place had such high reviews. Finally tried it last night. It was decent, and nothing was wrong with the order. But overall, kind of bland. The gyro was pretty good, chicken pita was sort of chewy and flavorless and the mouse cake was pretty dry. Not terrible by any means, but...just meh

$19 for a hard meet kabob ? I ordered for home with Uber ears, requested soup as side with my kabob, and this is what I get. Disgusting meet, disgusting presentation and the soup ? Lost ! Will never order or eat here again.

The smell of fresh baked bread is the first thing that hits you when you come in and then a nice welcoming hello from staff was a nice first impression. I ordered the combo chicken and beef skewers over pilaf and it was wonderful.

Ordered pick up greek salad "no beats " extra potato salad and a gyro. Salad loaded with BEATS and no extra potato salad. Just expect to get what I ordered and paid for guess that's to much to ask for anymore as well.

I was in Tampa, my friend took me to Hungry Greek. I had the gyro (sorry forgot to take a picture, was hungry lol) was take out. Was very happy with the food and service! Will go back again, wish there had one in Daytona.

Calling this Greek is so far removed from reality it’s like calling a Chrysler / Dodge neon a Lamborghini. Not sure how they get away with this but be prepared to be dissatisfied and disappointed with the quality of the food.. never mind the prices WOW….

A lot of other stores in the area easy to get into from racetrack road They have fans places clean customer service is good The food was good not really much else to say other than if you want Greek food and you're in the area this place is worth a worth a shot.

For some reason, after the first one that was amazing, every other time I order this it is made wrong. It’s never had cheese on it again. It’s missing stuff. Super weird, like they don’t know how to make it.
