Meats were not hot. Sausage was dry, brisket was dry and below average on tenderness. Coleslaw was your basic food service quality, potato salad was pretty good. BBQ sauce very thick right out of the bottle, Sweet Baby Ray's. Overall below average BBQ.

The Hut is drive thru only. Chopped Beef sandwich is my 'go to'. Fast and friendly service.

Sat second in line for 5 minutes while the girl in the drive through talked to the girl in the window knowing we were behind them. Their menu didn’t specify what came on their sandwiches and tried to get them to fix it and they caught an attitude about it and wouldn’t. Going to fat boys BBQ in Bridge city from now on.

Food is always tasty and the staff is friendly. It is drive thru only with no dine in. My only complaint is that the loaded mash is arguably their best side, and they always seem to be out here lately. It's usually due to them catering for large groups, but it is still aggravating.

It is a drive through so the atmosphere is limited. However, the service and the food are both excellent!

I always get the Pit Master bar-b-que sandwich with sliced brisket. Take that in mind. I find something I like and rarely deviate. The sandwich is superb. Be sure and ask for extra spicy mayo sauce that goes on it. They are always courteous and surprisingly fast getting your order ready. When the line of cars starts to get long, they send someone out with a tablet to get orders before pulling up to the order window!

This place is so good. If you want good barbeque this is the place to go.

Last night I was one of the last customers in line, arriving 15 mins before closing time. As usual the line was wrapped around the building, so I waited. I set out on a journey just to come to this spot for dinner for my bf and I. It's about an hour round trip. (Worth it.) My bf and I love the Pitmaster so I ordered each of us a sliced brisket sandwich and a side of potato salad and baked beans. I rush home so dinner will be waiting for him when he returns home, he's been working late and long hours I wanted to surprise him. I can hardly wait to eat mine, it smelled so delicious on the ride back home. I'm diabetic so I decided to go ahead and eat before it got much later, so I open the brown bag to pull out the baked beans and brisket sandwich and what I saw was potato salad and a turkey sandwich with pickles and onions. I do not prefer either so I just took them off and had no choice but to eat it. Everything is closed. I'm starving. Exhausted. And still had to make yet another trip into town to get something else for my bf to eat. DQ Steak basket is nowhere near equivalent but what can you do, everything is closed up for the night I have now spent $40 and an hour and a half drive time to get him dinner. He was happy to have food, nonetheless. He chose to eat the potato salad with his DQ, so I handed him the large container and as he dove into it with his spoon he says, this is no potato salad, it's banana pudding!! 😄 His favorite. Almost* like grandma's! He loved it. So in the end, y'all still saved the day! Lol He says kudos to who ever is in charge of making the pudding. Thank y'all! I'll be coming back tomorrow, however for my brisket sandwiches

The Hut is a drive thru facility serving Smoked meats (BBQ) and limited seafood items. I didn't feel that the meats had spent enough time in the smoker. The BBQ sauce was just ok.

Great place to get that BBq fix. Love the loaded spuds.

BBQ to go and we always, always get the thin sliced brisket that is the best around for miles. The Orange, TX location is the original but there is now an outlet in Sulphur, La. as well although we preferred the one in the Lone Star best. The sides are all good, too. Not a place for dining inside - it's simply a to-go joint but they move the line along fast when it's crowded.

Best Boiled Shrimp in Town and they are HUGE!!

Pit Master Turkey is freakin amazing. Usually do not comment on BBQ but I will say a 10 for sure.

I love the pit master brisket sandwich. The 3 stars is because it's mostly pork on the menu and bacon in the mashed potatoes without option of having it removed. The slaw is Good as well I usually put it on my pit master. It's a good size sandwich.

Look, the BBQ is good. There’s no denying that. That sausage is not cool though. It’s flat out nasty. It’s probably that Zumo’s sausage. That stuff is terrible. Get you a premium cut of sausage and throw them glorified hotdogs out. Please. Rest is on pernt.

I eat here often, because I enjoy their sandwiches so much. They are friendly, quick with your order, and one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. I always get the turkey pitmaster, but they have many others to choose from. I think that one of the chicken restaurants in our community that is known for their speedy service must have learned it from The Hut. I have no connection to them other than I am a frequent customer. Treat yourself if you haven’t already tried it!

Drive-up Only, they do their best to keep the line moving. About the food, Excellent in every respect! The Hut makes me look forward to crawfish season every year. Remember, they do boiled shrimp Too! Not the cold slimy buffet style boiled shrimp, steaming hot made to order, amazing size and southern flavor. Also, they make the best banana pudding I've ever experienced.

Ordered the sliced beef pit master with a side of baked beans. Meat was thin COLD and dry. Bun could use some toasting. Baked beans were piping hot, which lead me to believe they were heated in the microwave. .

Was behind only 2 vehicles and still took almost 40 minutes. No way to get out of line to leave because of property set-up, so you are stuck no matter how long it takes. I have use a BBQ pit for over 50 years and have been a pit master at a BBQ joint. I have eating BBQ all I've the U.S. and this was by far the worse I have ever had. Ordered 2 pulled pork sandwiches, no taste what's so ever and my sauce came in separate container. So dry. Also got one soda. Cost $18 plus for that. They were trying to sale 2 pounds of brisket for $48 plus, we had just left Kroger where you could get a whole 12 pound brisket for$50 to $52 dollars. Their prices were unbelievable and the food we received was cold, and I mean cold not warm at all. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

We waited in line for 30 + minutes and paid $19 for 2 dry as a bone pulled pork sandwiches, 2 bags of plain chips and 1 canned drink! The sandwiches had maybe a teaspoon of bbq sauce on them and were cold! At least warm them up people or, if you're feeling like a decent review, toast the buns! Ridiculous! We definitely won't be back!

That's my first time eating there, food was very good, service was fast. I ordered a sliced Bbq sandwich with pickles and onion, bbq sauce was good, and their fountain drinks were original, I'll be back!

Best crawfish in the Golden Triangle! Staff is always super nice. It's a drive thru. Tried the boudin too and it was good. I rarely give 5 stars but thought this place deserved it.

Foods very good but if you go during lunch it will take a few minutes. For the 2lb family deal (2lbs meat, either 4 sides and a 2 liter or 5 sides) and a rack of ribs cost $77.83

At noon it's going to take a minute. The food is so good. For a rack of ribs, and the 2lb family meal and 5 sides(or a 2liter drink) is $76.83.

The Hut, orange tx has some of the best BBQ around. The Pitmaster with smoked Turkey breast & or the pulled pork are top notch & so very tasty. If you want to change it up a bit, grab the green beans & mix with the pulled pork! You will enjoy the combination a lot more than you think. Highly recommend

I was there on April 20 my birthday and I order stuff tarter and it was delicious.

The foods good and when you buy live crawfish from them they are larger in size than alot of places makes it worth the money they were the only ones that still had crawfish available last Saturday.

We always get GREAT size & flavored crawfish from here at reasonable prices. The girls working are always nice. The only thing I'd say is an issue is the line. People try cutting the line of folks that's been waiting. Other than that no complaints.
