Great food and great service. My family’s been coming here regularly since we moved to Florida about three years ago and we absolutely love this place!

As locals, I always bring out of town friends/family here! This is a fan favorite. Food is delicious, big enough to share. The view off the dock is the perfect atmosphere for a Tarpon Springs experience, and it is even able to accommodate wheelchairs. Get the feta fries. Do not leave without eating the feta fries. I cannot emphasize enough: FETA FRIES

Best salad I’ve ever had. The chicken is marinated deliciously. When I was pregnant with my daughter I craved Limani’s salad multiple times a week. I’ve been going here for over 10 years!!

Definitely recommend this restaurant over the touristy places on the strip. Terrific prices. Large portions. Chicken kabobs and chicken in the pita are so moist and well seasoned. Must go!!!

Quick friendly service. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. Very laid back and located on the water. Food was excellent. The limani salad was full of meat tomatoes olives onions etc. My wife had the chicken gyro. You do have a choice of meat. The gyro was packed with meat lettuce and other delicious stuff...very reasonable priced. I would definitely stop in again if in the area.

The fish (or shrimp) plate is accurate for 2 people. Fresh and delicious as we ate in Greece. The same sense of olive groves and the feeling of warmth. We were served very fast. Simple tables under the roof on the waterfront without excessive pathos - the pleasure of watching moored and passing boats and birds. According to the warning signs, there could be manatees in the water. Amazing rest and delicious food

Awesome little spot right next to the river. We tried the gyro and pork souvlaki. They were both excellent. Haven't had this good of gyros since living near Chicago. The Greek and garlic seasoned fries are good as well. Prices aren't bad, but CASH ONLY.

Order at the window. The best chicken in Tarpon Springs (and that is truly saying something). Portions are generous. Food is consistently great. DO Not feed the seagulls! Eat by the water. Very casual but delicious!

Best food on the docks, hands down. Been coming here with my mom and Nan for years and I'm about to move away so today will be my last chance in a long time to visit and enjoy the delicious food with my family. Please stop by if you're considering. The greek salad is a go-to but their pork souvlaki skewers are the real winner- there's some kind of sauce I've never had anywhere else I wish they sold by the bottle. Can't go wrong with a gyro either. The prices are great but the taste is better. One of my favorite places to eat.

Gyro and fries, right on the water, under a covered patio. Casual place with walk up service. Limani salad is also very refreshing. Not touristy.

The best place to eat in Tarpon Springs. The food is unbelievable good. So much so, that my kids wanted to go back. Whether it’s the kabobs, Souvlaki gyro, or the garlic fries, you will not regret going. Just be aware that seating is somewhat limited and outside, so plan for that.

Excellent service, they made it clear the restaurant exists because they do. Atmosphere, can’t beat it. There are tables on the dock but I felt good about grabbing a to go. Gyro was insane. The meat was perfect, just enough tzatziki to make it messy and a bit unwieldly, but it was assembled perfectly. Can’t wait to come back next week and have another.

Such a fantastic experience! My in-laws took us here while we were here on vacation and we had such a wonderful meal. Super fresh and everything tasted amazing! Perfect location right on the water , kid friendly boat watching, very friendly service . Can’t miss spot if you come visit the area!

The best Greek food I have had outside of Greece! The pork souvlaki pita is tender and deliciously marinated, and the ratio of ingredients in the sandwich is perfect. French fries are cooked and salted to perfection, and the tzatziki was so delicious I could just eat it with a spoon. There are outdoor tables that are situated right next to the parked sponge boats, and my daughter loved watching the other boats come through the inlet. It’s a must visit place if you are in the area.

My wife and I absolutely loved this place. The food was amazing and very affordable. The staff was friendly and the seating by the water was nice. I definitely recommend stopping by for a meal if you are in the area!

Best souvkaki sandwiches in Tarpon! It's just a food pickup window, not a restaurant. After you get your sandwich, finding a table to sit and eat is limited. If it's not too busy, you sit at a little outdoor picnic table and have a nice view of the water.

Got food poison today from here. The foods are not clean, Be aware this place. After had food immediately had headache, soon after started throwing out. Not clean food.

A very good opportunity to eat Greek. The whole thing has more of a snack bar feel to it, but because you sit very nicely by the water, it's still really great. Food is inexpensive and very tasty. We recommend. Unfortunately no card payment

Have waited a long long time to eat here, but always a long line and I simply dislike the wait. FINALLY today on good Friday there was no one. I parked fast and truly worth the months I've waited. The hostess, likely the owner was extremely pleasant. Chicken wrap was absolutely 💯 delicious, the tomatoes were fresh and the tzaziki sauce just perfect. It's a hole in the wall with the very best food. Forget Hellas just opposite, this Limani is superb. The outside searing is pleasant as well. Thank you, we will be back ! And will wait if need be 😉

We tried the gyros sandwich, the pork souvlaki sandwich, and the feta fries. All 3 were AMAZING! There is an outside, water front, covered area to eat if desired. - - We got ours to go and took it to the near by Tarpon Springs distillery for a laid back picnic and drinks in their courtyard. We highly recommend the combo!

Did a solo trip and visited some shops as my first time. Was craving some fish, found this little spot along the docks and really enjoyed both the atmosphere and the food! The fish was SUPER fresh and cooked perfectly. Will be back to try their gyros!

I'm sorry to George for not posting a review sooner. This has been the go-to place for my father and I for the past 25 years. Thee best pitas on the Sponge docks...hands down. It's not a full service sit down restaurant, but it's got the basics...n it's Da 💣!!! It's outside seating, right along the river. It's got covered and uncovered seating so you can enjoy the elements of a beautiful Florida day...or protection from the elements on a hot summer day. Cash only, but there is ATM right in front. Extra meat for a few extra bucks is well worth it for my go to of the pork souvlaki. The Feta Fries are a MUST!!

This place is a jewel in town, we were passing trough on the road and saw very hood reviews, so we took off and went there!

We absolutely love this place. If you like Greek food, you will love Limani's. Located dockside right at the sponge dock's in tarpon Springs. Fun atmosphere and the food is fabulous. I have to stop by and get a gyro whenever we go to Tarpon. Best Gyros around.

Awful staff, woman at cash register, didn't even acknowledge me standing in front of her to take the order. She was rude. I do not recommend this buisness.

Today, I asked the woman taking the order a quick question on the menu and she was extremely rude and disrespectful. She told me to go read the menu and see what it says in a condescending manner, so my husband and I left. I’m not familiar with Greek foods but I certainly would not support any buisness with rude staff especially when someone is interested in purchasing. Why do owners hire such people, I don’t know. I don’t know if it’s because I’m colored, she might be racist! It’s not okay to do this!

Pita sandwiches and salads are fresh and delivious…fried foods are just okay. Service was terrible. After seeing several other partied who were behind us in line receive their food, I inquired about ours. I was snipped at, being told to wait and they have a process and thats why they have a line. Apparently, their line isn’t straight and its okay to yell at customers. *sigh*. I loved my veggie pita, but couldn’t relax and enjoy it.

Freezer food. False advertising. Told me they’re wild caught gulf shrimp but they’re frozen butterflied farm raised. The cod is also pre frozen like you’d buy from the grocery store. I don’t understand the good reviews.

Hidden GEM!! Quiet seating overlooking the water. The best Greek food in Tarpon Springs without a question. The best tzatziki I have ever eaten, the pork kana one were fabulous!! The gyros, chicken kabobs, feta fries all excellent.

The BEST Greek food on this side of the Atlantic! While the vibe is a little more 'hole-in-the-wall' this is our go-to restaurant when we're looking for some casual Greek food. It's a great spot to grab a bite and sit by the water and take in the atmosphere. Highly suggest the pork souvlaki gyro, the limani salad, or the souvlaki plate and don’t forget the Greek fries. But you really can’t go wrong with any of the choices…except maybe a hotdog 😉 We've even seen dolphins while eating here. It is cash only, which is the only reason I've started carrying cash because this spot is worth it!

Very picky about my gyros and this place exceeded expectations. Best gyros in the whole tarpon springs and that I’ve had in NY with the right amount of balance and freshness.

The food here is great. One of my fav spot to get Chicken and Salad: Limani Salad. Their fries are good as well specially the Garlic Fries. They only accept cash so be prepare. I would recommend and will be back.

I had the Limani salad with chicken souvlaki and it was incredible. So fresh and flavorful! Served with pita bread too. I’ll be back.

Used to come here occasionally with my grandparents especially my late grandmother. Service, food, atmosphere all 10/10 in my book. The woman that’s at the front was always friendly and so patient with my grandmother even as she moved slower with her declining state and didn’t bat an eye at my grandfathers not so great jokes and indecision. She’s seems funny and a delight. Don’t let bad reviews deter you from one of the best gems I’ve seen. I’m excited for my next visit to enjoy some killer food, take in the pretty area, and hopefully make more memories.

Confused by the high rating for the food spot. The prices are very affordable but the food is not good. The fries taste like they're from a frozen bag, and the pork kabob was so fatty that it was inedible. Not high quality food at all. As they say, you get what you pay for.

Best food on the docks, avoid the tourist traps, this place is legit! Paper plates and cash only, but the most authentic souvlaki outside of Greece.

I love coming to this place and so to my wife, the food is great never disappoint but the only one who made this whole thing a bad experience for us is the LADY up front as she was rude and abnoxious when took out order! Is this how you treat people who support your business?

Great food, The food came out so quick and was delicious the group I was with (12+ ppl) all agreed that the food was yummy and not greasy despite been fried and felt very fresh. Also this place is cash only. They have an atm next door for customers. Only gripe I had was with the customer service. I felt they could be more personable and friendly. Our group had some questions about the food ant they answered very shortly and with a slight attitude. We also asked for suggestions and those were ignored. The guy attending us was not too pleased with these. Afterwards a lady hostess did finish the transaction and she was much better to deal with.

The food was wonderful, unfortunately, the customer service was lackluster. The lady in the front was extremely rude from the moment she took the order to the moment she served the order (if you call that serving) she basically yelled at myself and my children to come help her bring the food instead of politely asking. We were anxiously waiting for the food, so we would have been glad to pick it up ourselves at the front. Unfortunately, customer service is not at the forefront of priorities here at the sponge docks since every Merchant pretty much feels entitled to customer money. It is more than evident here at this restaurant.

Service was really good, they were really nice. The food was really yummy, and at half the price of other Greek restaurants around. Good view along the water.

Food 10/10. Just know what you want before you order and don’t make small talk. They’re very busy and prefer to be straight to the point.

I've lived in the area for years and my uncle always talked about this place from when he was a kid. I finally tried it and got the Gyro Pita and it was unreal. I can't even explain how awesome the gyro was. This is the place to eat. Right on the water and best food in Tarpon. You won't be disappointed.

I've had the Kabob plate twice now. It's very consistent. Salad is excellent. Fries are excellent. Kabobs are really good but always a bit overcooked. Still good though. I recommend the pork. This can feed two.

My husband and I went there yesterday for lunch it was amazing. The food was delicious. The service was great. Definitely going back. I ordered the Gyro salad it was big It was delicious and my husband ordered a gyro.

I ordered the chicken souvlaki pita. Whatever they marinate their chicken in is delicious. The person I was with had the Greek Hamburger. Also wonderful. Great prices. We felt like we were in Greece sitting by the water. It's my new favorite place to eat on the Sponge Docks. It's cash only.

The website states that their hours on Sundays are from 11-7. Drove 40 minutes to have a late lunch. Arrived at 3:00. They were closed. No notice on the door to explain why. No notice when you call the restuarant saying they have changed hours or have gone on vacation. When will businesses abide by the hours they post? THis is commonnpracticein Florida. I refuse to be a patron of businesses that are so unprofesstional. (Cash only, unfriendly staff, and hours???) They don't need my business and others may start to feel the same. Good way to be out of businessin the future. Good luck.

A cool local spot, but they are frequently closed without updating their Google hours. A pain if you planned to go (as I did this week). Otherwise, it’s a neat option for a quick bite. Owners, update your hours when you’re closed for weeks at a time, it’s the polite thing to do.

The best authentic inexpensive Greek food around. George makes everything homemade and they don’t skimp on anything! You will not leave hungry and you won’t break the bank! They are cash only so keep that in mind but if you forget there is an ATM right there.

Had lunch here a few weeks ago. We both had the gyro sandwich. Read alot of reviews online. It was good. Sat by the water. Lady taking the orders was very friendly.

The good: Food was really good. My son said the shrimp was fresh; my other son said his hamburger was super good; my daughters loved the Greek Salad and garlic fries and my husband and I loved the Greek chicken pita. The bad: Lady at counter has HORRIBLE attitude. The man in front of me walked up and said "Hello, how are you?" Her response "Busy. What do you want?" and seemed irritated. She had a tip jar where a dollar was falling out near the window, my husband told her it was going to fly away. He grabbed it rudely and slammed it on the dish. She told us to make sure two people come to pick up food when called, as she could not help. Problem....we sat on the side and there is no intercom to hear her calling our name. She walked out annoyed. We met her and took the food. My husband told her it smelled amazing to which she snorted and walked off. As good as the food is, I refuse to give my hard earned money to a business that treats its customers as if they are expendable. I will try the Greek bakery across the street next time.

I drive a Trolley in Tarpon Springs and every time I do this route I get lunch at Limani! The Limani Salad with feta and Gyro meat. I get to the sponge docks about 40 mins before opening and pay them and order and they always have it ready for me. It’s fresh all the time. Food is delicious always. The owner and employees are so nice as well! Pricing is affordable too and the portions are big!! Customer for life!!
