Amazing meals in a charming atmosphere! (They will substitute proteins if asked). They're always busy and their food (especially the blueberry pancakes) and their friendly staff are the not-so-secret reason for their busy dining room. The Little Food Cafe is our favorite go-to whenever we visit Bayonne!

I called from work to order my son’s favorite pancakes from Little Food. I ordered them and casually mentioned that it was my son’s birthday, completed the order, and continued working. My babysitter sends me a picture of my son happily eating his pancakes, and then I see the details of this place. They put a happy birthday sign and gave him a brownie. It melted my heart that these ladies made his day and mine in the process with their attention to detail. I had to share this place kindness. I love this place's food and attention. Ten out of 10 🤩 Thank you so much. 💕

Number one,a Philadelphia cheese steak is definitely not served on a 6" roll for $13 ,are you serious, go get one it's on a 12" roll,in Philadelphia that is then I ordered one sandwich and pancakes with sausage $27$$,, Fu,the owner is a money hungry biach

I used to love Little Food Cafe. I asked for a Buffalo chicken wrap. They gave me a wrap with NO Buffalo sauce. I return & KINDLY tell them that there’s no Buffalo sauce. & the guys in the kitchen have an attitude about it and disrespect me further by pouring a whole bottle of buffalo sauce. The second bad experience I’ve had there. I waited a whole year to go back after the first time. Thank you, The Little Food Cafe.

A little gem in Bayonne! Food is fresh, flavorful, and good quantity. Also their baked goodies are the best-especially the brownies! Staff is helpful and hospitable. Cozy and clean spot. They also have limited outdoor seating! All the perks of a city brunch spot without the heavy price tag. Must try!

The food was delicious and warm when it arrived at our table, which I greatly appreciated. However, the service left much to be desired. Upon entering the establishment, we were not greeted in a welcoming manner. We were unsure whether to seat ourselves or wait for someone to guide us to a table. We stood there for a while, being passed by servers who did not even acknowledge our presence. When someone finally noticed us, we were simply told to find an available table. It took a considerable amount of time before someone came to take our order. Surprisingly, a couple who arrived after us had their orders taken before ours, and they received their food before us as well. Given these experiences, we are uncertain whether we will return to this establishment. The prices are somewhat high for the quantity of food provided, and the service was certainly lacking.

Been to Little Food many time food can run from good to very good to excellent. One of the items I found to be among the best are the soups of the day selections, for my taste their soups are taste great and are well balanced to provide a melding of ingredients but allowing for the individual flavors of ingredient to be savored. The service for many of the times has been this most recent visit was a little off, lack of offering the uses of utensils even for items that could be eaten by hand and revisiting our table to remove dishes between the soup course and entree are small item but something a server should be aware of.

You should tell your delivery cust that they will have a delivery charged. You did not therefore l tip the driver twice!!!😒 Chips & Salsa should be complimentary for orders over $20.00 it is NOT. You can do better by your customers, we have other options as well.

I get food from this little cafe every single day.. I have never had a bad thing from here. All the food is home made and delicious. And there Latte's are to die for . All the ladies at the counter are very sweet. Love going here and will continue to do so.

Was staying in Bayonne and looked up a place to have breakfast, and it was perfect and cozy, and food was amazing. Family owner. Felt like home.

Stumbled on this great little place! I recommend the Nutella and banana Belgium waffle! Our waitress was friendly and great!

Order dinner, took forever to receive and it was ice cold when I received it!! Also supposed to get a 4% discount for using cash and didn’t!!

Every time I visit my friend in Bayonne I always pick up food here and I love it! My go to is the Buffalo chicken salad, I get it at least once every time. Consistently good, always a 5 star. This time I also tried the chicken bacon ranch quesadilla. It's def not Mexican food 😂 but it I didn't go in expecting that and it was deeeelish. Tried some sweet treats (lemon bundt cake, banana bread cake?, and an apple cinnamon situation that tasted light a thin cheesecake). All were terrific. They're also great when I come in with a kid or my dog.

This place is amazing.I decided to get breakfast since it was my boyfriends birthday. Must breakfast places quality for the price is horrible. When I tell you the eggs and pancakes was fluffy. The Turkey bacon egg white & cheese sandwich was so fresh. Hashbrowns was cooked so perfectly not burned & French Toast was warm and golden brown. I will order from here over and over again. Even the phone call to order my food was amazing.Please keep up the great work you guys are a gem.😊

really tasty honey Mashed potato and salmon with Dijon sauce. The vegetables were also delicious. Good alternatives to your greasy and heavy fare. Make careful to give them a go.

I'm so glad this place exists! Fantastic cooked food with a huge variety by time of day and season, and a terrific corner position. Family-run business with excellent employees and a delicious brunch. Def will return shortly. I want to thank Taylor for the amazing first-time service. ♥️

I asked for a Taco bowl salad with guacamole. No taco bowl and it was just brown avocado. Very disappointing, the meat didn’t have any flavor at all.

Great place! I go there often for Saturday breakfast and it never disappoints. I really like their bowls and my boyfriend always gets their cheesesteak sandwhich. Pancakes are awesome as well.

Cozy off the beaten path cafe.Pretty good menu selection and the food was served hot, fresh and delicious. There was a bit of a wait but was definitely worth it. Went there with my son and we both agreed great food for the price.

They say we're supposed to support our locall businesses. Not very happy with this outcome. So my son and his friends go into little food cafe for a minor birthday party. About eleven people teenagers Mind you So So they ordered they were asked to pay in advance. The Waitress suggested it. The bill came out to about a 185 Dollars They pay in advance which is so disrespectful. Now kids wanted stuff like extra soda. Extra juice extra whatever. And the waitress turns around and says well since you Paid already it was her suggestion that they paid in advanyes you can't get any more soda or juice. I'll just have to give you water. This makes no sense to me. So my son's best friend, which is a very nice kid. But very shy did not want to say that his birthday was basically ruined because of this and he felt very embarrassed. It was a very confusing night for these Kids, and now they are discussing why this happened. They understand but it Should have not happened. Not happy with little food cafe at all How are we supposed to support our local businesses? If we act like this, you need to tell me. If 11 grown men or women came into the business and ordered food, they would be asked to pay for it in advance. I think not. It's sad that someone turns 17 and decides to go into your business. And gets treated like that. I'm sure it's something he will never forget. And I'm sure those 11 kids will not be going to little food cafe again.

Little is a wonderful place ✨️ and go there often if every in bayonne and looking for something good or healthy 😉 this is a place to go. Breakfast and the salads are amazing

I went there on Wednesday October 18 for breakfast with my son and daughter in law. I love the atmosphere and decor, the staff are friendly, helpful and accomodating with special requests( like warming the syrup for my pancakes). The food portions were large and my son and daughter in law had left overs to take home. I ate most of my pancakes. The food was the correct temperature, and well prepared. We were not rushed and felt comfortable to sit and enjoy our meals. We plan to return for Brunch very soon( maybe next week)! I may go alone by bus( #10 Blvd bus stops across on the opposite corner) just in case you don't have a car!

The most cutest Cafe in Bayonne, NJ. The atmosphere was so relaxing, cozy and welcoming. The host was conversational and happy. Showing the comfort of being an employee working for a small family owned business. The food was delicious, presented well at an affordable price. I had the Southwest Club with sweet potato fries.. full of flavor with fresh avocado. Definitely a place to recommend!

Okay so came here twice once for breakfast (indoors) and once for lunch (outdoors). Here’s my take: Pros: •Seating is available indoors and outdoors. •Service has been pretty good both times, waitress were very attentive. (Only one con down below) •Food is amazing! I had the chicken pesto panini for lunch and it came with chips. Also, ordered the sweet potato fries and it was crispy, possibly one of the best I’ve ever had. Side note: please get the CHIPOTLE SAUCE! Goes well with the onion rings! (I to come back for the chicken and waffles) •I’ve seen a review of only taking cash, but they have tap to pay and all that. •Portion is great for the cost you pay. I couldn’t even finish my sweet potato fries but I tried my best 😂 Cons: •Not sure if you have to walk up to pay or they come with the check. Both times I think I waited 10 min before just going up and paying. •Parking is residential and I would say a bit limited because it is very close to a school. This means 2 hour limit parking before you get a ticket.

The food was ok. I had a turkey burger, didn't seem seasoned. My sweet potato fries taste like it was fried with onion rings. The atmosphere was nice. I just think the dinning area needs to be touched up with a few paint jobs. Chipped painted doors and banisters were visible. The service was great! A waitress who didn't serve me, even assisted me with a smile. Im looking forward to my next visit, for breakfast.

Stop going to Little Food on 10th St!!! I picked up my little sister and her friend from John.M Bailey School and we went to get food from Little Food. We were waiting for the food and my sister’s friend (for reference she is of color), was standing, eating her snack and the “owner” decided to go up to her and put her hand on her shoulder of my sister’s friend and made a remark along the lines of “honey and vinegar, and how she needs to stop coming in with vinegar and coming in with honey”. She is a 12 year old girl and me being there, I can agree that she was not doing anything. I do believe there was a racist intent behind it. Kids go to that restaurant all of the time and are typically loud, however the one time a girl of color is there it’s now an issue, especially because of the fact she wasn’t loud. She claimed that she had had poor behavior before, but for some reason it was an issue today. The way she had handled the situation was extremely unprofessional, disrespectful, and rude. I will never step into little food again or “support” an establishment that treats kids especially like this, especially those of color. The business is right around the corner from an elementary school, so I feel as though they should be more understanding of the age group that would be coming into their restaurant. It was never an issue when lighter colored children were “acting out” or being loud, but once it’s a black girl it’s now an issue. I am extremely disappointed.

Food is good, however, portions are extremely small and over priced. Also, the prices on the menu are not the same prices you are billed for. I was told that they "needed to add a little extra to the bill due to increased costs".

Cozy, intimate dine in or take out restaurant. Their food is delicious, especially during breakfast when it's jammed packed. Trust me, the wait is worth it. The staff is super nice and welcoming. I'm a big fan of Little Food Cafe and a happy, loyal customer. Highly recommended to all. A+++

Terrible service! Would not come back!

Idk what’s going on Lisa but you need to get back to running the business as a business. The hood booger associates in house and drivers are a no no. Extremely unprofessional behavior and verbiage. That in its self made me stop supporting “little hood cafe” as I call it. Attitudes given when picking up orders and or calling to check on an order. Delivery not honored in timely manner and when revisiting, slang and body language thrown at you. And the lady who walks in and out of the back with the fancy jackets needs to keep herself locked away pretending to be busy, because her terrible customer service doesn’t help. She’s another one who points fingers and doesn’t have a clue. Just go pretending to be busy and leave the cooks alone lady. This mom/pop cafe was one of the best in town, between the hood boogers hired, and old lady skeleton, my money can remain with other customer first venues in the town. It’s shameful.

I really do love the food here and the service is some of the best hands down. Their prices are affordable and it a great place to eat with the family.

The food has gone down in quality and the service is non existent. Had to ask for a spoon for my tea, straw for my drink, still never received my water, three times asked for my toast. Never seen the waitress to refill our drinks. Disappointed and will not be returning.

First time ordering after having it recommended…….. Absolutely NO seasoning on 2 orders of home fries. My “best” breakfast sandwich has an ungodly amount of mayo on it…no American cheese or bacon??? Confused as to what I paid for. The only thing they listened to was scrambled eggs instead of over easy. Disappointed.

Went in on a Saturday morning and the place was not crowded at all. The waitress took our order and we waited with our waters for an hour. People that came in after us ate, paid and left. Our waitress gave us some kid portion of pancakes and said that these were on the house to tie us over until the food came. After an hour and a half of waiting, I bought to the waitresses attention that we never received our food and she looked at me like I was crazy for even saying such a thing. All me and my girlfriend ordered was scrambled eggs. Almost two hours and never received food. Thanks for wasting my time.

Extremely disappointed! I have never had a bad experience here until today! The bread on my sandwich was stale and falling apart. I asked for sweet potato fries and received hash browns, that were not good. They send an extra sandwich that was not in our order and were expected to pay for it (we send it back) and the grilled chicken on a salad had a bad seasoning on it, that made it disgusting. Extremely disappointed!

Great little restaurant in Bayonne. I come here often for breakfast or lunch. All their menu items are fresh and tastes great. They have good desserts too.

I literally just now walked out of the door, I sat there for 45 minutes and not a single person came to wait on me. I then went to the front to ask for service and waited another 15 minutes before finally deciding to leave. When i got there at 7:30am the place was completely empty. Will never go there ever again.

I use to order food from here all the time. Always I picked up in person, but one day I ordered delivery. Food took over an hour to arrive and 2 orders were incorrect. When I called, customer service was poor. They said they would fix the incorrect orders and send it right out- it took another hr for food to come. Funnies part is I live on 10th st- literally a 2 min walk so even if the delivery guy was out, anyone could have quickly run the food over. Total time waiting for my meal was over 2 hrs. Also, they asked for the incorrect orders back which I thought was so tacky.

Support this local business. Amazing breakfasts; best breakfast sandwiches are finger likin good, farmer skillets are also a must try. Staff is very friendly. Food is well priced compared to portions.

The food is pretty good but the service is extremely slow. There is only 10 tables and yet the service takes about 1 hour for your food to arrive. Sometimes there are only two other family's and it still takes way too long for the food. The food isn't worth the wait honestly.

Overall, the food is decent. However, the service is very terrible. Waiters are not doing there jobs, no organization. Would not recommend the wait for the food honestly. Not worth coming.

This Cafe / Restaurant is one of my go to's. Staff is always pleasant and the food quality is always good. If your dining in the food may come out a little later than usual but that's rarely the case. Overall a great place to dine in or take out with decent pricing.

I have been going to this place for roughly 15 years. Awesome place. It's not a Peter Luger steakhouse but the food is VERY good and the atmosphere is relaxing. I'm sure the staff may get tired at times because the cafe is busy but by no means have I ever seen anyone rude to a customer. It's just not that type of place. This is my go to in Bayonne.
