Beautiful...gorgeous...best staff....fantastic food!!! Wedding venue is perfect...

Place is gorgeous. Can highly recommend

I recently attended for my family and there were a number of issues. To begin with we payed for an open bar for 140 people, keep in mind this is an over 21 weeding, four people (that I know of), close family and guest were carded by the staff. Some of which were not even the bartender! After the ceremony the signature drinks were coming out. We named this drink after a combination of the bride and grooms last names. The waiters apparently had a little joke about the drink and were referring to it by a very hurtful and insensitive slur that refers to the intellectually disabled simply because the drinks name started with a Re. The staff said this to the brides face! When complained about it the head manager of staff said “that didn’t happen” and completely ignored the brides concerns The venue and food was nice but you know all this when going into it. I could not be more disappointed and dissatisfied with the service and treatment that shown to people on the day that was supposed to be the bride and grooms happiest. I wholeheartedly do not recommend this venue to anyone who wants and enjoyable and loving wedding.

Just had our daughter’s wedding on June 9th at “the Lodge”. I cannot offer sufficient accolades! The event was flawless. The table sharing option was greatly enjoyed by our guests. The food itself was EXCELLENT and offered graciously at each table. Our guests have been texting us non stop about the buffet appetizers, main courses AND the IMPECCABLE service. The weather, lol, couldn’t have been better either. A BIG SHOUT OUT to Lindsey, our coordinator and the entire service staff…attentive, professional and accommodating. Thank you ALL for a fabulous evening!

My wife and I just got married here. The staff is fantastic and the venue is beautiful.

Beautiful reception, excellent food, drinks and service

First time here for a wedding event. The grounds were breath taking and well manicured. Nestled in the Pocono's. The venue inside was well maintained, clean and beautiful as well as the bathrooms and outside patio's. Cocktail hour seemed to go by very quickly, but there were plenty of appetizers of coconut shrimp, mini Philly cheesesteaks, cheeses, meats, fruits and more as well as ice cold beer, soda, cocktails and wine. The group at our table had the Chicken, Salmon and Beef dishes along with the vegetables of potatoes and asparagas. There wasn't any complaints and everyone truly must of enjoyed there dishes by the looks of it since they were pretty clean at the end. My steak was prepared beautifully and cooked to a medium rare perfection. It had me wanting more. All in all it was a great place for a wedding. We truly enjoyed ourselves.

I was at a Wedding there this weekend. WOW, beautiful venue, amazing grounds, and the staff were outstanding. From the outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, to the amazing dinner and reception. Food was delicious. Would highly recommend this venue for your very special day.

Was there this evening for a fundraiser. I lived close by and had no idea about this beautiful venue! The staff was very attentive and the menu for the appetizers was fantastic! Would definitely go back and refer.

There are no words to describe how amazing our wedding was. From the day we toured the venue until the final minute of our wedding, everything was perfect and ran smoothly. Our coordinator was Sharon, and she is AMAZING. She made sure we were on track the entire time and answered all of our questions so fast. Our day was perfect, and a huge part of that is because of Sharon and the Lodge team. The food is to die for! We were so full and couldn’t even finish our meals- it really is that good. We are already talking about coming back to the cabins for an anniversary weekend because they are so cozy and private. Also, the orchard is the best place for an after party! It was private and allowed us to continue celebrating all night. I could write a book on how the Lodge exceeded my expectations, but it would never end. We really could not have imagined a better venue to celebrate our marriage!

The lodge was the perfect place to enjoy our day! The weather was perfect in early June I remember running a few things up to the Orchard first thing in the morning and getting to see the chairs set up outside for our reception. It was picture perfect, as was my bride! ;) The staff was on point and they were serving the most delicious food! It was hard to stop eating. Everyone working there during our event were extremely helpful with accommodating to us and our guests. This place is a Gem located here in the Pocono Mountains

Best wedding I've been. Best food I've had at a wedding. Margaritas we're terrific, and I don't like margaritas.

We loved the Lodge! My fiance and I were looking for a venue with on-sight accommodations, which is what brought us to the Lodge. Working with Sharon was amazing as she helped us every step of the way and made sure our wedding day moved like clockwork. She is a true professional and expert. This was the night before our ceremony BUT there was a freak storm that ripped up trees and blocked roads all around the venue, and my family was trying to get in/out for rehearsal dinner. The Lodge maintenance crew were absolute all stars and got out there to clear trees from the roads in a flash. Back to the wedding - we had a modified vision for the ceremony and the Lodge helped make it happen. Everyone really liked the food, and the location was perfect for our families. Oh and the wait staff/bar tenders are all awesome! I only have good things to say. We also had our after party at the Orchard, a super cool location on site. Our guests loved the bonfire vibe for keeping the party going. During the weekend my cousins took the rowboats out, and both our dads were able to go fishing. I might be reviewing more of Mountain Springs Lake Resort than just the Lodge but I only have good things to say about everything.

I have too many good things to say about Mountain Springs than I can type in this review. My husband and I got married in July and everything was truly perfect. Sharon was our coordinator and she was amazing. She walked us through every step of the process and kept us on track. She was organized, responsive, excellent communication - I would send her tons of emails and she always got back to me same day - and just an overall kind person and great person to work with. She thought of everything and I never even felt stressed with the planning process. Seriously, Mountain Springs takes care of everything for you. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. Most of our guests stayed on property and Nadine was also fantastic to work with. The cabins are gorgeous and cozy and all of our guests raved about them. The food was incredible - I got so many compliments on the food, many saying it was the best wedding food they ever had. And the best thing about Mountain Springs is that they take care of the food, bar, and cake, so you don't have to get any outside vendors for that. They had great recommendations for our other vendors too. We chose them all from their list (our DJ, photographers, Florist, and Hair/Makeup) and they were all amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding experience from when we started planning a year and half ago to the big day itself. It was the best day of my life!

My now-husband and I toured THIRTEEN other wedding venues before finding The Lodge, and as soon as we stepped into the space, I knew that was "the one." The outdoor ceremony space is quiet and secluded—no road noise or random passersby. The reception space has huge windows framing the trees and tall ceilings, so I knew that, even if it had rained, being indoors would feel spacious and airy. A huge draw for us was having the cabins along the main lake, which gave us the opportunity to stay on-site with our families and the bridal party and made attending the wedding much easier for out-of-town and older guests. We were especially delighted that some guests took the opportunity to stay for the whole weekend, which meant not just six fleeting hours but real quality time with loved ones that we may not see as often. On top of that, the food was delicious—appetizers, entrees, and dessert; many guests told us it was the best wedding food they've had! The staff are attentive to all the planning details, and were especially kind to make accommodations for family with health issues. Sharon in particular took great care in executing our perfect wedding day, and we are so grateful! Thank goodness we continued our venue search until we found The Lodge!

My husband and I got married at the Lodge and I have so many good things to say…where do I even begin!? How about with the food…I had heard people say the Lodge’s food was great, but holy moly they were not lying! First of all, there was SO MUCH food. We chose the buffet option which was served family style at the tables. We had mac & cheese, onion crusted chicken, vegetable lasagna, and a couple other options. Every dish was amazing. Everyone we talked to during the evening remarked how full they were because they ate their fill and there were leftovers. The next thing people said was how delicious that food was. Months later, guests are still telling us about how great our wedding food was. Every hors d’oeurve was top notch too! The staff even made sure that my husband and I got a platter with samples of each hors d’oeurve at our sweetheart table just in case we missed one during cocktail hour. I thought that was very thoughtful. Service throughout the night was excellent as well. The scenery at the Lodge is gorgeous in any season. We got married in June, but we had meetings all throughout the year on the property and it was beautiful all year round. There are so many spots for photos and we were able to take full advantage of the lake for our wedding photos. And speaking of meetings…the staff at the Lodge was excellent to work with. From our first tour to the moment we waved goodbye, they were nothing but gracious, helpful, kind, and supportive. We worked with Sharon who helped us to plan all the details-big and small. She always made me feel like I was her only client even though I obviously was not! Meetings felt like a conversation with a friend instead of like a formality. She treated us with loads of patience while I asked a ton of questions and while I figured out exactly the way I wanted things to go during our wedding day. Sharon guided me into what would work best, and she was right at every turn. She made sure the day was perfect from beginning to end and she was very easy to communicate with. I will tell everyone I meet how glad I was that we chose the Lodge for our wedding. It was worth every penny, and I know it was the exact right choice for us.

If you want a five-star wedding experience, book the Lodge at Mountain Springs Lake. The grounds of the property are gorgeous, it truly is a hidden gem in the Poconos. Sharon, the venue coordinator, makes the process of planning a wedding easy and is beyond an added bonus of booking the venue – her expertise is irreplaceable. Her organization and attention to detail is unmatched. While you are planning, she helps guide you on things you would have never thought of. During the wedding weekend, Sharon takes all of the responsibilities off your plate – from the rehearsal, set up and tear down so all you have to do is enjoy the moment. In addition to Sharon, every single staff member at MSL went above and beyond. The servers beginning at our tasting to wedding night were excellent and extremely friendly. The food was even better than I could have imagined, many people commented it was the best food at a wedding they had ever had – you could cut every single steak with a butter knife. The Orchard is the perfect, low key setting for an after party after an upscale reception. Our guests commented how our wedding felt “so us” – it truly was the perfect weekend. I can’t imagine getting married anywhere else. My husband and I can’t wait to come back and visit year after year!

Went to the Faith Christian School Gala had a wonderful time with great food, service, and an amazing venue beautifully set on the side of a small lake.

The Lodge was the first wedding venue that my husband and I toured. From the moment we drove onto the property and walked into the Lodge for the first time, we were blown away. It is absolutely gorgeous! The large floor to ceiling windows provide beautiful natural lighting and make you feel like you are outdoors. Following our tour, we immediately booked our wedding date and canceled all future tours with other venues. We knew it was THE ONE. Our coordinator, Sharon, was absolutely wonderful! She was super responsive to all of our emails and truly a blessing as she helped make our wedding dreams a reality. She relieved so much of our stress and really made our wedding day run smoothly allowing us to enjoy every second of our big day. The food at the Lodge is the best I've ever had at a wedding. It is all so delicious, cooked to perfection, and displayed beautifully. They also have SO many unique choices on the menu. Our guests are still talking about our wedding and how much they loved the venue, food, music, and service. I truly cannot say enough good things about the Lodge. I would choose this venue over and over and over again.

No words can really explain the awesome time we had in our Son wedding. This venue is unbelievable and the staff there was incredible. Very attentive to all things making sure everyone was satisfied. Again this venue and staff were awesome. 5 stars in my book.

I was there for an event for The Amber Louise Elchert Foundation. Set up was very easy to navigate tables. The food was delicious. And the bathrooms were very clean. The outside is beautiful.

The owner is such a pleasant woman, who really understands the importance of the service industry and of going above and beyond for her visitors. The vast, rolling campus is located in the heart of the Poconos yet just tucked away enough to be private and quiet - a major contrast to the crowds and craziness of places like Kalahari and Great Wolf. This facility is run by folks who love the property, and who love what they do. Strongly recommend.

We went there as one of the first places to check out as venues for our wedding. We haven't made a choice yet, (still have 3 more to check) but this spot was beautiful and great scenery for some beautiful photos. We were very pleased. And Lindsay was GREAT in showing us around and giving us information.

My wife and I were looking for a place to celebrate our anniversary. We were able to book the King Jacuzzi suite for 1 night. The suite is beatiful, the lake beach is perfect and quiet, and the grounds are well kept. We would highly recommend a visit. It's a hidden gem.

The Lodge at Mountain Springs Lake Resort, without any reasonable doubt, it the best place my wife and I could have ever chosen for a wedding. The location is gorgeous, the wait staff was above and beyond, the coordinator Sharon Potter was one of the best I have seen in the business, and the venue offered an experience that a good many of my attendees have been talking about. The location itself located comfortably in the Pocono area is isolated enough to enjoy your own wedding, but still near to a lot of hubs for shopping and food. The gorgeous lake is a little bit away from the venue, but offers a beautiful view of the area. The venue itself is quaint and elegant. Overall, we could not have picked a better place to pick and were assisted by some of the best people to make our day perfect. I will always remember how well they treated us and I will always recommend this location.

I could not be more pleased with our experience here! We recently had my son’s wedding here, and since my son and daughter-in-law now live in California, a lot of the planning was done virtually. Thanks to Sharon, the wedding planner at the Lodge, everything was executed perfectly. She assisted with every aspect of our planning, helping us with suggestions on table setup, popular menu choices, timing for the special day, getting ready setups, coordinating our vendors, and so much more. We were all so pleased with how the wedding turned out! The food was delicious. The cocktail hour had beautifully set up display stations and the wait staff made sure that the passed hors d'oeuvres and drinks were generously distributed to all the guests and all of the tables were attended to during meal service. The grounds in mid-September were just beautiful, and even when the sun went down the view through the windows was well lit and lovely. We had some people staying on the mountain spring lake resort premises and the bride and groom stayed in the “honeymoon cabin”. They all said the cabins were nice, the lake was nice to boat on, the place was quiet and scenic, and they enjoyed their stay. We also had some guests staying in a nearby hotel, and there are many nearby hotels at all price points available. Sharon helped keep everything running according to schedule and we never felt rushed. Highly recommend this venue and their excellent staff.

This venue is absolutely gorgeous, inside and outside! My son got married here and everyone had a great time and adored the setting!!! Everyone was more than helpful and kind!! 🌹🌹❤️❤️

My daughters, husband, and I came here to look at The Lodge as a possible wedding venue for our daughter's wedding. Sharon Potter was our hostess and tour guide and all I can say is how wonderful she was. She not only showed us all the areas that would pertain to us for a wedding, but just went above and beyond time wise explaining things and taking us around all the grounds. The newest accomodations are absolutely gorgeous and the more rustic cabins are so homey and cozy. It was a wonderful showing and her hospitality was truly just superb. Thank you so much!!

Nice place. It was under construction when I was there for my sister's wedding. The cabins are a bit outdated and have very poor lighting. Also, it is hard to find the main office to check in and also check-out/drop off keys. a very bare bones venue.

Attended a great event for Lizzies Circle, raising money for local families battling cancer. The room was fantastic, the food was good. The appetizers were a meal in themselves. Beautiful location and setting. Very intimate. Outstanding venue for 100 people.

We attended a wedding here for my dear cousin and it was beautiful from beginning to end! The setting, food, drinks and especially the family we were surrounded with, was top notch! We are not from the area so this is the first time I'd ever been here, but what a treat and what a gorgeous wedding for a great couple! I'd highly recommend your establishment!

The cream of the crop. My daughter was married their this past July! The wedding planners ,waitstaff, bartenders,and chef are outstanding. Each table was perfectly set and the attention the given to guests was the best I have seen in a long time. They are all professional servers with no untrained servers on the floor. The chef went above and beyond making food that my daughter was able to eat. She has multiple food allergies. The premises are a photographer's delight. You have a dirt road, a lake with dock and rowboats, a pond , open fields, and birch trees with gorgeous mountains. The bridal spa was perfect and well stocked with snacks. You can bring in lunch if needed. The only clitch was the downpour an hour before the ceremony. They were setting up outside and scurried to move the ceremony inside. Her florist called the nursery and brought a garden inside. It was just perfect!

What a great venue! The food, service and location were all excellent. Having cabins right on the property is great for those who don't want to drive home. The cocktail hour was by far the best; the cheese table was awesome 😍. The only thing I can see being improved is paving a walkway for the ceremony site. Its hard to walk in the grass in heels, especially when it's wet. But that can be over looked by how great everything else was!

The wedding took place at the Lodge of Mountain Springs it is definitely a five-star then you for a wedding they think of everything they leave no small detail left Unturned they make the bride and groom feel extremely loved and special they have cabins for rent the food is top notch if you're looking for a very special place to hold your wedding I would definitely suggest this place I've been to quite a few weddings and this is the best I have ever been to

This place is beautiful, inside and out. We met with Sharon P and she is an amazingly helpful event coordinator. The Lodge is definitely in the running for our wedding venue.

We attended an October wedding there. It was a very nice place, inside was nice, bars were close to the dance floor and every table. The cocktail hour was outside in a tent which made things difficult for my wife because of the grass and her high heels.
