Michelle made our experience beyond enjoyable. She was attentive and very personable. She made the night a wonderful celebration!

My husband and I are obsessed with this place! Recently it seems to be an every week thing but I wanted to give a huge shout out to Anna! She’s amazing very upbeat, pleasant and on point with everything!

Food was absolutely delicious with nice quantities. Our server , LIV, was extremely helpful, friendly, attentive and a joy to complete this wonderful evening. What a fabulous dining experience.

We came to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. We had a reservation for 6:30 and were sat in a semi private booth. Michelle was our server, who was wonderful and personable. They made my girlfriend feel very special which made the experience even better. Timing of each course was perfect. We could barely finish it was so much food for a great price. Will come again for more special occasions!

Our server Kylee was fantastic! We haven’t been to Melting Pot in years and she truly made our night special.

Went here for my first time on Monday July 15th and it was so great. Our server Michelle was amazing, knowledgeable, and patient. My boyfriend and I had no idea what we were doing but she was super helpful and sweet and made the experience very special. Definitely will be coming back!

Michelle was phenomenal! Her service and knowledge of the menu were exceptional! We were celebrating our move and Michelle made the experience even better. I’ve never been to a restaurant with such an incredible experience. The fact that we had the most amazing server made it even better! We will definitely be returning soon!

Love it here. Don't go often due to the distance I have to go. I will say they don't love giving 4 people a two pot table but honestly if two people came together they'd get one pot so I think it only makes sense. You're going to be here a while if you're doing the whole meal, think 2.5 hours at least. Most of my experiences have been really good and if I based service on all but my last experience it would be 5 stars. The last guy was clearly not happy with our table move and other staff picked up his slack on the service. It wasn't a busy night and there were lots of open tables so it's not like it was outrageous so he kinda brings it down.

Upon my return to the Melting Pot, a year after my initial foray, I found myself enveloped in the restaurant’s distinctive dining concept once again. The opening act featured an array of cheeses, inviting diners to plunge an assortment of fruits and bread into its molten depths. The main course followed a similar interactive theme, with a shabu-shabu-inspired broth serving as the stage for an ensemble of proteins—meat, chicken, shrimp, and lobster—to perform their dance of flavors. The final curtain call was a decadent chocolate fondue, where fruits, cake, and brownies took a dip into the rich, luscious pool. The ingredients, charming in their presentation and bursting with freshness, sang harmoniously on the palate. The entire gastronomic journey spanned just over an hour, a delightful interlude that left me both entertained and satiated. The staff, from the affable receptionist to the attentive server, played their roles to perfection, ensuring a dining experience that was as seamless as it was enjoyable.

RUINED CHILD'S BIRTHDAY!!!! Had a party of 10 people. Our server dropped a cup and blamed it on us. Following this, he took about 45 minutes to come back to our table. 99% sure he was high. 9 year old birthday girl left in tears. I felt so bad for her, this used to be her favorite restaurant. Contacted through website but didn't get a reply. NEVER COMING BACK!

I celebrated my birthday here and it was PERFECT! The 4-course meal was absolutely delicious and all my guests had a wonderful time! 5/5 Stars

We have been going to this melting pot for years for our special nights out.. this was the most disappointed we've been... The server started out being very friendly when it was slow but once things picked up that wained. The cheese is our favorite part bit he didn't make either very well, forgot some steps and skimped on the cheese. The bread and chips were both very stale. The cocktail was delicious. The meats were good although the Lobster was a bit fishy tasting. They were selfish with the sauces especially when we had leftovers saying the were out of cocktail sauce?? (@ 7pm?). We waited a long time to get boxes so we could move to the dessert course which also took a longer than normal time. We ordered coffee and the check at the same time as the chocolate but never got either. Once we finally got his attention again to ask for the check, that took quite a while too. Once he came with it, they had the coffee on the check which we didnt notice until after we had already paid and tipped because they put an Ipad in your face to pay & tip from (which is the rudest way to present the check!!!) He took our giftcards, then went to the back...came out after waiting, again, for quite a while. He stood there until we did the tip amount and I asked for a copy of the check (I do Fetch 😊) We always do at minimum 20% as I was a server for many years (many years ago) but the hovering over us until we told him how much we would tip..is so absolutely rude and insulting. When we finally got the paper copy I told him we never got the coffee he charged for (and we tipped off the balance with that on it too). He seemed urged and said he'd go take it off...we waited over 15 minutes and he never came back in our area and needless to say, we had enough and left. Sad that it's going downhill there. I hope it's not about to close..this is the same sort of things that started happening right before the Columbia, MD location closed for good 😢

Never done fondue before so idk if I messed up or food was always just ok. Atmosphere, prices and smells was off putting. Server was very patient and helpful. I'll definitely go back but only for dessert

Took my mother here for a new experience on Mother's Day and was sat at table that shouldn't even be allowed in a restaurant like this. It was tiny and a corner. We had to get up to reach our cooking pot every time. We asked for a different table but was told no because of it being Mother's Day. Very miserable experience.

Very wonderful experience! Staff are very engaging and social. The fondues, salads and entrees are all delicious. The drinks are also really good. Good spot to just relax and eat while catching up with a friend!

Was ok, not great like everyone hypes it up to be!

Service extra slow, food has totally changed. Brown sugar steak was horrible and tough. Green goddess sauce has changed. Wasn't even mixed through. Clumps of cream cheese. Will not return.

The food was delicious. The major problem was the server must have taken a break during our meal. During the middle of the meal, our server did not come back to the table for about 20 mins. We were there on a Friday night, but the restaurant did not appear to be extremely busy. We had to flag down another server to help us during the disappearance of our server. Our server did reappear by the end of the meal. We were glad because we were considering calling the fbi on a missing person.

My girlfriend and I went for dinner on a whim and couldn't of been happier. After a bit of a mix up we had Kylee as our server and I genuinely couldn't recommend anyone better! Great personality, perfect service, and all in all a phenomenal person. If you ever have the pleasure of them as your waitress you are in for a fantastic evening! Will most definitely be going back hopefully having them as our server!

The cheese, the salad, the entries was nice until dessert. The white chocolate was not white chocolate. It was either white chocolate syrup or condensed milk/evaporated milk.

I would not suggest anyone go spend that much money for this place. It was disappointing. I hate even saying all that was wrong. In a nutshell: Dirty table, reservation included flowers which were presented in a dirty vase and must have been half price, the food was beautiful on the first tray that was literally dropped at our table. I know, accidents happen, but the second tray was absolutely skimpy. The fondue was extremely skimpy, I expect the pot to at least be half full of melt. It was not. There was no salt and pepper on the table, and the veggies had no seasoning on them. The dips or sauces were not flavored enough to season your food enough. We were a late reservation, and they were short staffed (trust me, I was told multiple times how much cleaning had to be done during our birthday celebration) it was unprofessional at best. But our waiter would rather talk and complain than make sure my water glass was full. The manager tried to make the situation better, but when I finally mentioned that the fondue chocolate was so skimpy it was crazy, he offered me to purchase another portion. (I said forget it. Did I mention that we were there for 3 hours when there were only 2 other couples in the entire place? The locals know this place is not up to par, obviously. It took forever to get food, for the cost of over 100.00 a person the amount on each course was shameful. Except on the appetizer. They must have cut an entire sour apple up because they would have had to pitch it I guess. I really was so very disappointed. As a customer, this was supposed to be worth the money one way or the other. Quality of food was good, amount was shameful, service left me shaking my head, including our waiter stirring fondue and splattering it all over the table and our outfits. I believe the waiter was under the influence of something, which made it worse. I think he might have been better if he didn't allow whatever he indulges in to enter his workplace. I left way too much of a tip for what we got. Just go somewhere else or buy a fondue pot of your own and save your money. I will say the dishes were clean atleast to end with a positive note.

We went to the Annapolis MD Melting Pot and our waiter Curtis was on the spot. It was 10 of us for my birthday and he had our drinks on time and food on time and we had to wait on NOTHING. granted it was 2:15 pm on a Sunday but he was he was very good and very quick but very rushed us.

There was a change in the large group room, and one of the heating elements kept unplugging. Guest kept banging into table legs and end of tables were difficult to sit at.

First time at The Melting Pot and won't be the last. The food was good and the service was even better. Our server, Jordan, was amazing! She was very accommodating and attentive. I highly recommend for all occasions.

German was our waiter and he took great care in serving us! We had not been in a Melting Pot in quite some time, we both loved it. It was a Thursday and we had their “Thurs-date” dinner. The table was set with candles and fresh rose petals. Food was fresh, plentiful, and delicious!

Updated review 3/2024 The food is expected because it doesn’t change which is fine. We found our recent experience to lack attention and we did the VIP ultimate experience. The roses were half dead and broken and the server made a joke about it. Our server disappeared after dropping off the cheese course and the manager saw us sitting too long and I made eye contact every time he passed by so he brought our salad and entree course. The sever returned asking if we ever got salads so it was just not vip to say the least. We were shorted on our entree supposed to get double one meat due to an allergy and didn’t. Couldn’t order more drinks because of the abandonment even my water cup was dry. We waited a long long time for the check. Go for the experience still but we won’t be returning because you pay way too much for service and experiences to fall so short . We did the fondue with the firework trying to enjoy the spectacle and the server was reaching all over while trying to record. It just felt like a ruined experience. I’d have rather dined elsewhere for the price. A shame really. Used to be nice. 2018ish- I can't come here enough. It's the only place my bestie and I go to for girl time. And it's a fun date night with my fiance!

My husband and I have been going to this exact location for 11+ years for anniversary’s, birthdays, and date nights. It has always been great. Our first date night after having our daughter was absolutely atrocious. Our server took 10 minutes to greet us and explained they had been sat 5 other tables at the same time. I understood and we placed our drink order. They came back with two waters a few minutes later and again asked for our drink orders which we had already placed. One drink came the other didn’t when we asked for it they brought it and took our entire ordered except chocolate. Then we turned away 2 beers we didn’t order (that we were charged later for). Then our waiter came back and asked us what we wanted to order (he had already taken our order and this happened 2x). We finally got our cheese made almost an hour after we were there and were left to stare at it as he left to go get the stuff to dip in it and never returned(10+ minutes). A random staff member noticed and ended up getting it for us. From this point on we never saw our server again until we got chocolate despite walking passed our table so many times. Our cheese started to smoke and smell terrible sitting there too long empty so we had to remove it from the burner. Twenty minutes after our cheese was empty we finally got a random guy to ask if we were ready for our salads. That savior ended up getting us all of our food and refilling our drinks. When we finished our main course our waiter finally returned to ask if the food was good. By the time we got our chocolate we just wanted to leave. Got our bill were charged for drinks we didn’t order. I don’t get out much without kids and honestly I’d rather eat with my 1yo then have to experience 3 hours of that again for $200. It’ll be a long time before we return.

Enjoyed a wonderful evening of food & wine with family during Annapolis Restaurant Week. Service & food ( Rest.Wk Menu) 5🌟...pleasant, efficient service. Food freshness & delicious variety of choices. Gluten-free bread option was available upon request. Chocolate Dulce fondue desserts were yum yum yum! Plan on 2 to 2.5 hours of conversation while enjoying your 4 course meal. Checkout their menu - so many choices! We loved it all & recommend it.

Kris was a excellent server. My girlfriend and I enjoyed a four course meal with delicious appetizers and entrees with mouth watering chocolate fondue at the end of our meals. We definitely recommend making a reservation with Melting Pot in Annapolis.

Drove 2 hours to get here with my girls just to be told I needed to make a reservation even though it was 2:30 in the afternoon and the place was empty! I asked if they had any reservation times and she said at 8:15pm! Not worth it. That’s ok though because Double T’s diner was close by and they had amazing food and very friendly staff.

I arrived about 15 minutes early for our reservation and sat at the bar. Neither the hostess nor the bartender offered me a menu and it took at least 5-6 minutes for the bartender to even acknowledge me at a bar with 2 other people at it. I finally got my drink and went to be seated for our dinner. I could barely hear my date because it was so loud and I had to ask for my water to be refilled twice. The manager didn't even come around like he normally does to see how our meal was going. For a meal that costs close to $200 at a restaurant ive been coming to for years across the country I expected better, well, everything. Sad.

All of the food was delicious! Kris was an amazing waiter, so personable and knowledgeable on all of the different options. We had a wonderful time.

Had an amazing time for a late Valentine’s Day dinner at the Melting Pot Annapolis! Kris was such an incredible, knowledgeable server who kept us entertained throughout the meal. It had been years since we’d been to a Melting Pot location; but knowing what a gem the Annapolis one is, we’ll be back as soon as we can! Ask to have Kris serve you!

We come to the melting pot every year for our Valentine’s dinner and always leave full but wanting more. This time we were sat right beside the kitchen, it was much louder and not as intimate as we’d had in the past. But still a great experience, our server was helpful and on point, and our food was delicious as always.

As a french, I had high expectations. And I was not disappointed!! I even will have to step up my personal home recipe, now... From the traditional French fondue to some recipes slightly twisted to an American vibe! I went for the classic cheese one with bread. It was garlic-ey and with the perfect cheese selection! They will make it in front of you, preparing it and offering a food selection of items to dip. Using the same idea, they offer different chocolate fondues with fruits, marshmallows and cakes to dip in. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to try a traditional Winter swiss/French dish! Perfect for families or a romantic evening.

My husband and I went to the melting pot for Valentine’s Day. I booked this on opened table so I guess I wasn’t given the option for the rose amenities that everyone else got around us so that was disappointing. But besides that, it was a romantic experience. It was a little annoying being sat by the kitchen where the waiters are yelling “CORNER” as they approach the kitchen, but I guess sometimes that can’t be helped since they’re maximizing use of their space. The food was great, I think the portions were perfect for two people. Although I thought it was a little pricey per person, but they had a fixed menu for the occasion. The drinks are always spot on for me, but my husband said his old fashioned was way too strong so he nursed it the whole dinner pretty much. Overall we enjoyed our night, and we always keep the melting pot in mind for a different experience for date night.

Kris was awesome in guiding us through our first fondue experience. The food was great and he was extremely knowledgeable about the food and quick to answer any questions.

We were excited for a kid free date night before Valentine’s Day but this dinner fell short. It took 15 minutes before we got a server. There were a lot of kids present with parents so it was very nosey. Usually the experience should only be 1.5 tops but we didn’t finish until after 2 hours. The meat was overly seasoned and it seems like the cheese portion is less than it used to be. We had to wait for our drinks. Their bartender had to buss tables. Never saw a manager running around and managing the staff or kitchen. Not our favorite experience but we made the most of it.

The service is hit or miss at this place. At our last trip it was poor and the manager tried to help, but it was to no avail. We sat for an hour before even getting our driinks or food. There is no magic to what Melting Pot does, melt cheese and serve pre cut proteins to customers. Yet they still screw it up.

Our server was horrible, we only saw her when she dropped off the pot and food. Took hours to find her and get our check. We sat in between each course for 45 minutes staring at each other and thirsty with empty glasses. So disappointing

Server was very nice. But we were seated 20 minutes after our reservation. We were done our first course before I received the glass of wine I ordered when we sat down. Overall the experience is not what it used to be. Food just ok.

Staff was super nice. Facility needs a good dusting & cleaning.

Went out to eat Saturday night and was greeted by our lovely waitress jadyn. She was amazing, She asked all her questions ,she was very patient with all of us, and explained all of the food to us. When we finished eating we expressed that we didn’t understand the bill at the end of the experience. The manager ( Chuck ) helped us understand the bill and even rearranged it for us. THANK YOU BOTH!

As always, the Melting Pot is at least a three hour event. Everyone at our party had a good time. The restaurant needs to purchase an esspreso maker.

I brought me and my girlfriend here for dinner date. I was shocked at how perfect everything was. A nice young strapping man named kavan was our waiter and made my love for the place even stronger. If anyone has a problem with this place they are victims of existential cynicism. We love this place and the managers were quite handsome. Also shout out to Mr noodle and German.

I came to this establishment today and this handsome young man Justin served us. He was amazing through the whole experience and treated us with the utmost respect and quickness. Me and my friends will definitely be coming back soon and requesting him. Everyone here is so nice, the hot honey alpine fondue was to die for.

Took my gf last night for her Bday. First time here doing the cast iron grill pan, there...loved it. We were rockin & rollin in that thing with all our meats & veggies. Everything was delicious & an all around fun experience.

Our ladies group had a great time catching up and enjoying wonderful bites. We plan to do it again soon.

This experience was terrible. I have been here multiple times with my significant other, too many to count. Every time has been great & the seating has been very secluded and romantic. This time, not so much. We were sat in the very back room where there were large parties, it was very loud, and the service was awful. We were sat down and not greeted by a server for about 10 minutes. I asked the server if there were any booths for 2 people in the other room, as I reserved our spot at a booth a week prior to coming & she said no, they rarely use the room we were seated in. They were not expecting to be so busy. Others around us had numerous issues with their stove heating up and they were clearly not ready to serve their customers. Our server was rude & seemed to feel rushed as she kept forgetting to bring our food and refills. As much money that you pay here- the experience matters most. We will not be returning for a while, if we do at all.

Great service, good food. What's not to love? I forgot to take enough pictures, but the experience in and of itself was more important than pictures. We started eith cheese fondue, then salad, devoured lobster, chicken, beef, salmon, shrimp.... veggies, and had nice chocolate fondue for dessert

Food was ok, have never had a "gair" experience at a Melting Pot but the food was just ok. Service was excellent. Other customers (can't control this) but did make the experience less than desirable but the food was just not up to our expectations or experience with Melting Pot.

Done and experience was very good. Food was enjoyable, top-tier restaurant. 

I called ahead to arrange the Thursday romance package and when we arrived they had no record of it, I was very disappointed. Later I saw another table that did get it and I wasn't impressed so I guess I wasn't missing out. At the end of our evening I did speak to the manager and he was very apologetic and offered us a free chocolate fundo for our next visit. The food wasn't as good as it usually is. So that was also disappointing. Our server was great though. The noise was ridiculous we went early because we thought it would be less noisy but we were mistaken. The bathroom was gross as well. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary which we do at this location every year. We will not be going back. For the money we spent $230ish, it wasn't worth it at all. Very disappointing visit.

On a whim, my wife and I dropped in on a Friday evening, expecting to grab a light supper. As first-time visitors, we were a bit overwhelmed by the portion sizes of most items on the menu; "Four Course Dinners for Two", for example. We mentioned this to our server, Matt, and told him that we were not that hungry. He explained that many diners consider a night out at The Melting Pot as an "experience", often in conjunction with some sort of celebration. Nevertheless, he offered some suggestions from their à la carte menu, and and was very patient as we took some time making our selection. We ultimately decided to share a fondue dish ("Spinach Artichoke"), a salad ("California") and a dessert ("Flaming Turtle"). All were excellent. We will be returning soon with family to enjoy the full experience (as soon as we come up with an excuse to celebrate) and will be sure to schedule the event when Matt is on duty. [A suggestion for those who share meals while dining out, as my wife and I often do: Please remember to tip your server as if everyone had ordered separately. Just because you cut your bill (and calorie intake) by half, doesn't mean your server spent any less effort in providing you with an enjoyable meal!]

Service was great for the most part. I tried to do a Birthday surprise for my daughter which was kind of ruined when the waitress mentioned it in front of her versus just bringing it out. Otherwise, the experience was great. The cheese was just ok this time, a little watered down.

We have been going to The Melting Pot in Annapolis for many years and it is always wonderful! From the service to the food - it's the perfect place for celebrating special occasions, going out for a date night or just to have a lovely dining experience. We recently went for my birthday and once again it could not have been any more wonderful!

We had the NYE special menu. Loved everything on it! Our waiter was fantastic...so accommodating, as we had a person with us who has multiple food allergies.

It was as expected very busy on New Year’s Eve, however for the price we expected a bit better service. It was fairly hot in the restaurant with the burners going and we could barely get a water refill. Also, the appetizer course was dropped off as if it was for someone else and was only 3 portions and not 4. We also asked for sodas 3 times and never received it. The experience was okay at best.

I've been to the Melting Pot many times over the years in different states. The Annapolis local was not as 'upscale' as others I've been to. The tables were very small. The pot for cooking was kind of far away from where we were sitting so it was a bit difficult for me as a shorter lady to reach. We enjoyed the experience but I think if we go again, we'll try a different location.

The servers were nice but we didn’t get a lot of attention. We waited almost a half hour to order drinks. Seemed like a lot of others around us were experiencing similar issues.

The food was mediocre but the service was terrible. We were there for an hour and hadn’t eaten a thing. They were crowded and didn’t have enough staff it seemed. We ordered drinks and the order was never put in. They advertise an experience but the experience was bad. I would not recommend eating here for the price it cost versus what you get.

The food was fresh and amazing. The service was excellent and the server was very friendly. The restaurant is a bit small and could get noisy on a busy night, but it wouldn't be too much of an issue. On my next visit I had amazing service from Mariah. She was very attentive and made sure our drinks stayed topped up. Kris was also amazing and great to talk to. The staff here are super friendly and make each visit really enjoyable.

Have been to MP many times over the years to celebrate our kids grades. The past few times the cost simply doesn’t equate to what you would expect. when you pay almost $300 (with tip and no drinks) you want everything to be right. Good service, nice atmosphere, good food. Our college age some and server were sweating constantly due to poor ventilation. The air even had a haze to it now that MP offers cast iron grilling at table. Wrong salads brought out, having to ask for water to be refilled and simply not clearing away dirty dishes seems inexcusable when paying so much. Food was good though.

Im not sure if this restaurant has staffing issues but often our waitress would just disappear for long period of times. The food was ok, but not spectacular or worth the price paid.

We were placed in a back room with regular tables. Felt like we were forgotten. As frequent diners, we knew it would take some time, but folks who were seated well after us - and declined to sit in the back room - were finished at the same time. Understanding it was Christmas Eve, we had no place to be and were not rushed. It felt like they took too many reservations.

The service was extremely slow. It took me more than 18 minutes to get an alcoholic drink. We were without water or anything to drink for over 20 minutes. It wasn't that busy. When I went to the restroom I noticed a bunch of the staff was visiting with their friends at the bar. We had to wait for our server for more than 20 minutes to pick up the bill. Manager walked by and saw us sitting there waiting and said he would send our server over. It was another 10 minutes before she arrived and the restaurant was empty. We were there for 3 hours, start to finish.

Had a great meal here tonight. The highlight was our server, Curtis. I don't think I've ever described a server as "charming", but he fit the bill. Knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging, he was a real pleasure to deal with and made a good meal all that much better. I'll definitely request to be seated in his section when we go back.

Our third trip this year and as always we enjoyed it and the food. I do have to note however that they do not know what sangria is or how to make it. Other drinks are much better.

It was an amazing first time here. I brought my cousin for her birthday and everyone was super helpful when we told them it was our first time there. Our server Justin was super helpful and excellent. We were his first 5 course of the night and he was lovely and took wonderful care of us. We loved having our own little booth and the meal was wonderful!

The Beast was really good. I love the asparagus, the best and chris with a k has been there five years and knows exactly how to work it
