I had the shrimp cavatappi al a tartufa (which was quite scrumptious I may add). The shrimp were expertly done and perfectly paired with a creamy truffle sauce. Our server, Sara was kind and accommodating. She also makes a superb cappuccino 😋.

If you're more interested in decor and atmo than well-prepared food and think heavy cream makes any dish better, you may like this place. But don't expect dishes created by a chef who knows his stuff -- based on what we got, the menu is the product of creative writing and the "chef" more like a line cook. The bubbly waitress warned us their Greek salad was "authentic," meaning without lettuce. What we got was not as described -- mostly tomatoes with much less cucumber and onion and a couple of slivers of green pepper on top, with no discernible oregano except perhaps a shake of the dried herb. I love Greek salads and ordered it in part because of the promised Caper Berries and Mixed Olives; considering the place's name, I figured they'd be interesting. What I got was a few capers (NOT the berries, which are different), some kalamata olives (that's fine), and a couple of small Spanish olives stuffed with pimientos. (Really? That's what the Mad Men used to put in martinis.) Chain grocery stores have more variety in their olive bars. The mains were also a bit off -- the Pesto Gnocchi had more cream than pesto and tasted just faintly of basil and garlic. And don't believe the description of Santorini by the Sea, which the menu says is mussels and shrimp in a "Mustard, White Wine, Garlic, and Herbs SAUCE" "SERVED OVER LINGUINE". It's actually a bowl of linguine in broth with mussels and shrimp on top, and if there was any seasoning, I couldn't detect it. The only utensil provided was a fork, so you couldn't taste the broth -- it won't stick to pasta no matter how hard you twirl. Though they replaced the dish when I protested, the manager came out to defend it. I said at least serve it with a soup spoon so diners can eat the broth; he claimed they usually serve it with bread and people sop it up. A) They didn't serve it like that to me and B) if that's so, what's the point of that big pile of linguine? And when I asked for some parmesan, I got a shaker -- what you expect to see in a take out pizza joint, not a supposedly nice restaurant. Employees are pleasant and smiling, but I'd stop assuring guests how delicious everything is and work on making that true. I'm afraid the good reviews say more about local diners' taste than the merits of the restaurant.

Absolutely everything we ordered——the Spanikopita w/Tzatziki sauce, the Greek Salad, and the Mushroom Melt sandwich were perfect. The fries that were served w/ the sandwich were the best I’ve ever had and we topped it all off w/ this fabulous Lemon Mousse cake and coffee. Our server, Kimmy, was pleasant and efficient. The owner, Dimitry, was friendly, and welcoming and is the one who recommended that amazing Lemon Mousse Cake! The Naked Olive is a must-try when you’re in the Kennett Square area. Once you experience it, you will most certainly want to return!

Only downside is it's soooo good there's always a wait and they don't accept reservations for a party of 2.

Delightful first time experience here! Staff were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Hannah was a super waitress! The restaurant has a classy atmosphere and a variety of food options. One of our main meals was outstanding, the other wasn’t, but the staff swiftly corrected it and served us a complimentary dessert! We will return!!

We LIVED this place. Not only the atmosphere but the food was AMAZING. We had the Ribeye stake in bourbon sauce (DELICIOUS), fried calamari, mozzarella with honey ... everything was EXCELENT. Service was Excellent too

Very welcoming friendly atmosphere with delicious food. Gluten free pizza was best ever had. Chicken Alfredo was wonderfully tasty. Veggies on the pizza were very fresh and seasoned well. Our server, Britney, was fun and very efficient. All the wait staff and manager were attentive and friendly. A great place to eat really fine food!

If we could give more than 5 stars, we would!! Brittany was an outstanding server, and the rest of the staff was awesome, too--a well-oiled machine!! The mushroom veloute was the best mushroom soup we have EVER had! From the fresh bread with olive oil and olives, to the mezze and lamb lollipops, to the citrus creme Brule and baklava, you can't go wrong...everything that came out of the kitchen looked amazing as well. We came here based on Google reviews looking for the best mushroom soup in the area--the reviews did not lie about anything!! We WILL be back whenever we're in town again!! Note--the owner and his family were in Greece at this time, and the staff were making extra sure that EVERYTHING was EXCEPTIONAL in every way!!

This restaurant is great. We just had my sisters baby shower there and after looking into 10 different places we landed on this one. Eden made my decision easy, she’s great about communication. I actually messed up the timing on the shower and she was able to make sure everything went smoothly even with my mistake. The food was delicious, the service and the space turned out perfect for us. Eden really made this event happen and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dinner or an event space.

Doesn't live up to the ambiance.

I was planning to meet a friend for lunch and, as I’ve been out of the area for awhile, asked her to choose the restaurant. She chose her fave…The Naked Olive. Our server was Alex and he was friendly and charming and knowledgeable. Also very accommodating when we realized that we weren’t very hungry and asked if we could choose from the children’s menu! The answer was “yes”! In fact Alex’s answer to every request was “yes”! Our customized grilled cheese sandwiches were spectacular! When Ted, the manager, stopped to ask how everything was we were happy to report that our meal and the service were excellent! I’ll be returning to Kennett next month and can’t wait to meet up with more friends…at The Naked Olive!

What a great experience. Atmosphere is welcoming and Ted and staff very friendly; our server (Grace) was excellent. Menu is diverse and interesting so will require several return visits to work our way through it. It’s BYOB but there’s no corking fee per se just a very reasonable and nominal charge of $1.00 per any member of your party who may be drinking. A great experience all around!

This was our first visit and we were NOT disappointed! The Caesar salad was delicious as were the chicken skewers with the sweet/spicy dip. The chicken lemonde was also delicious. Service was great and great ambiance. We will definitely be back!

This is a fun family place, with excellent food and fast and top-notch friendly service. The big downside was the bone-chilling air conditioning. I had to wear a jacket inside on a warm spring day.

BYOB which is a pain in the *** if you want wine. Go to the near by Giant supermarket for overpriced bottles. The food tasted ok but portions small and overpriced. Had the grilled octopus which was not cooked/grilled enough so it was very chewy. Only one leg so it was pricey for the price. Had the Seafood Cioppino and it tasted ok but I felt the portion was small for the price. A decent option in the neighborhood.

Couldn’t tell you anything about the food because we were seated and then ignored or forgotten about. We waited awhile and saw others who were seated much after us served. Then as the kitchen door opened we noticed a pretty bad seafood-y smell and decided we just needed to eat elsewhere. This type of very slow service does seem to be the norm of the area though, so we may just not have waited long enough, lol.

Ourv experience was great front the start. Welcoming staff, attentive owner, great ambience, fabulous menu. Yum difficult to choose from the many good options! The Italian bread with dipping oil and olives the minute we say down was a nice treat. And BYOB always welcome!

Love this place! Absolutely packed, waited 15 minutes on a busy Friday for a 2-top. Had Mezze, truffle cavatapi and the pork gyro special. Loved the mezze, perfect start to the meal, the pork had tremendous flavor and the truffle pasta was a nice dish. Would say the cavatapi a touch heavy and could use a little acid/herbs to cut through the cream, but delicious. Had great service and atmosphere, will certainly be back again soon!!

Initially tried this place on a recommendation, and so glad we did. We went a second time to make sure we didn't just get lucky the first time, and we were pleased to discover that the level of quality and service was consistent with our prior visit. Brittany was our server and her energy and knowledge of the menu were a great representation of the establishment. Our food has been excellent each time we've gone, and arrived quickly. Our drinks were never empty, and dirty dishes didn't sit on our table. I look forward to going again and trying a burger.

My companions had a craving for Greek food so we went to the Naked Olive. We were seated right away. The service was friendly and attentive. I had the tabbouleh salad with salmon. It was delicious. My friends had the fig and prosciutto flatbread and loved it. Servings were ample and we actually took some home. Relaxing atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Had an amazing experience at The Naked Olive. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal, immensely. Eveything was fresh and delicious! The staff was friendly, and the owners went above and beyond when we encountered a transportation dilemma...very hard to find such graciousness! Been meaning to try the Naked Olive for awhile and finally got there for lunch today. DELICIOUS! For apps we had the Lamb Chop Lollipops w/tzatziki sauce and Chicken Skewers w/mango-habanero sauce. Each app was sharable. For entrees we had Spaghetti al Pomodoro, Greek Salad, Calabrian Sandwich, and The Ultimate Falafel. Nice sized servings that had three us us going home with leftovers :) Desserts were Baklava w/ice cream and Lemon Mousse cake Everything was delicious! Service was outstanding! We'll definitely be back.

What a charming restaurant with amazing food, 1st time here but will become our go to restaurant!

I was here for a baby shower, and it was a great time! The food was spectacular, and all the servers were super friendly and attentive.

We decided to try The Naked Olive to celebrate our anniversary. So glad we did. We were welcomed and treated like old friends by both staff and owner. We loved the casual but sophisticated atmosphere. Everything was delicious, starting with the bread/olive oil/olive starter down to the yummy creme brulee. They even wrote Happy Anniversary on the dessert platter. We look forward to returning again very soon. This place is a winner for sure.

Family owned and run. Unique, tasty cusine and amazing wait staff. Will go back. Have already chosen my next dinner there.

This restaurant was fantastic. They had clearly marked vegetarian and gluten-free options, along with great service and atmosphere. Go early; the place gets packed starting at six p.m.

First time visit, all the food that came out the kitchen looked so good! We ordered the calabrian sandwich, flat bread and trio dip. And it was all so amazing. The server was incredibly attentive and so kind!

The food here is absolutely delicious! The cesar salad was one of the best ones I’ve ever had before. And the mushroom soup is an absolute must!! Every time we are in the area we will be eating here!

This is our new favorite restaurant. The restaurant has a cool relaxed atmosphere. The food is always fantastic and I wish I could have the mezze platter everyday. Everything is fresh and doesn't feel heavy. The service has been great. We've had Chrissy as our server several times and she's always helpful with menu questions.

After my 10th radiation, we decided to celebrate. Swallowing was an issue ,but I have found a great workaround from Muskogee in Florida. A small spoon of Tupelo in a tiny amount of water. Stir until dissolved as much as possible. Lick. The spoon, drink what I. Am now calling "mead" - there is no alcohol. Do not use commercial honey- that is often bottled in plastic. Contamination. Tupelo is a tree and the" honey " is the sap just like Maple syrup. Wild honey may be good as well, but it must be organic and. Not processed.

Delicious food and very nice servers! Alex our waiter was very personable, attentive and considerate that we ordered the right amount of food and not too much. We absolutely loved the octopus, lamb chop lollipops and gnocchi. Also the tzatziki is even better than what we had when in Greece! Highly recommend

We ordered through door dash and the driver never came to pick it up so the owner hand delivered our food. One of the best places to eat in the area! Owners go above and beyond.

The Greek salad is amazing, the mushroom soup is out of this world, the breaded eggplant sandwich is top notch. And the olive oil with bread that they serve before you order anything is quite amazing too. Totally impressed with the entire establishment.

I would like to share my amazing experience at The Naked Olive, it was great, staff is friendly and the atmosphere is beyond your imagination!!! I felt I was in NY city talking with the owner I felt the passion in the concept and I will let the pictures describe the rest of my experience. We had a wonderful evening for our first visit here. Our waitress (Mackenzie?? my memory is so bad) was so sweet and kind! Turns out we knew her grandfather! Small world. My husband had the special, which was the ribeye, and it was not at all overcooked, and I had the European sea bass. Both were cooked to perfection. We had lemon cake and citrus creme brûlée for dessert. They were both so delicious! Each lady received a rose for the evening since it was Valentine’s Day. I thought that was so nice! Will definitely go back!

My wife and I had dinner at Naked Olive last night and the entire experience was great. Our server was excellent and offered a lot of good advice. His service was impeccable. As to the food - it was excellent as well. The calamari was the best we’ve eaten in years. It was tender and lightly breaded and just plain succulent. My wife had a Greek Pizza and raved about the lightness of the crust and the tasty vegetables. I ordered Pear and Gorgonzola Sachetti and it was delicious. I love sachetti but rarely see it on the menu when I eat out. This was a real treat. For dessert we had baklava. We normally share but figured the serving would be the normal 2-inch triangle that is so common, so we each ordered our own. We could have shared! The single baklava we were each served was as large as 3 “normal” sized ones. And, they tasted really good. Naked Olive is not big but the atmosphere was very good. There was only one TV and it was showing drone photos of the Greek coast - much preferable to a slew of TVs showing a myriad of sports shows. The dining room was quiet enough to make conversation comfortable. We will visit The Naked Olive again soon. The menu had lots of things we’d still like to try.

Kennet Square is famous for the mushroom soup, but the mushroom soup at the Naked Olive is by far the best I’ve ever had. Everyone’s meal was delicious. Service is impeccable. Both the manager and owner stopped at our table to ask how our meal was. I live almost 2 hours away, but the next time I’m near Kennet Square, I will definitely make it a point to eat at the Naked Olive.

Came in for an early dinner around 4:30 on a Saturday. Decor is modern and fun and the menu is very interesting. Their mushroom soup is so damn good I nearly wept in my booth. Pizza is definitely on point as is the crostini with burrata. Don’t bother wondering about cocktails — no alcohol here, which was a bummer given how excellent the food is. Very good service. Come early! This place was packed by 6:00. Would come back any time 👍

I have been to this restaurant a number of times now. And every time is a good experience with really delicious food. The service is amazing. Everyone that works here is kind and professional and makes it such a good time. The Pesto Gnocchi Florence (Shaved Parmesan, Delicate Pillows of Potato Gnocchi, Basil Pesto Cream, Baby Cherry Tomatoes, and Fresh Spinach) is outstanding!! We also had the mushroom soup and just let me say I got some to take home with me! It was incredible. We are lucky to have this restaurant part of the many wonderful restaurants in our community.

I ordered the braised short rib. The presentation was lackluster for a $40 entree. It stated on the menu that it came with asparagus but the plate came out with green beans. The waiter didn’t even bother to ask me. The waiter also didn’t bring extra napkins nor fill up our waters when they were empty. Will definitely not be coming back.

We love The Naked Olive! It’s such a cozy restaurant with great Mediterranean influence. The gyro specials and moussakas specials remind us of being in Greece - it’s so authentic! The staff are so friendly and the service is attentive. Reasonably priced for great quality food. It is BYOB and there is a very reasonable corkage fee which is appreciated! The Naked Olive is a staple of Kennett Square.

Can't wait to go back! GREAT FOOD and a fun & attentive server. They were SO ACCOMMODATING that they brought me a nice folding changing table for the bathroom when I needed to change my toddler! The pasta dish blew my brother away, and he's a chef! Really delicious appetizers too, and a cool/welcoming atmosphere! Don't miss the pita and hummus/dip trio (a bit spicy!) 🤤

I always get disappointed with the food here. Last night I had the Florence risotto and it was the biggest waste of money I’ve ever spent. The fluid became solid on one side of the bowl, there was absolutely no seasoning and the fish tasted like it was washing dishes before it was killed. The pizza seems like it sits out for an hour before getting to the table. I will say their fries are consistently great but their other meals more seasoning and attention. Brunch is also good.

We had a party of 18. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Byob cork fee was extremely reasonable. Highly recommended!!

First time here. Small group. The food was excellent. Great flavors and cooked just right. Kudos to the chef and the kitchen staff. Will definitive come back soon. Only suggestion is a larger serving of oil that comes with bread to the table. It went too fast! The servers were attentive and pleasant and the noise level was comfortably low - a nice change from many other places. Put this place on your list to try if you haven't yet.

My mom and I went to the Naked Olive on our way home from Longwood Gardens, and the food was great, atmosphere was fun, and our waitress was very welcoming and very sweet.

We had a part of six on Fri night. We sat outside in the enclosed area. We were nervous it would be cold, but not at all! We had outstanding and attentive service. The restaurant was very busy this night so we had maybe one or two times where we waited for our waitor. We had 3 amazing desserts with our dinner too. The experience was delightful.

The staff were all very kind and welcoming. The food was top notch! The bread and oil they start you out with was very good as well. Our waitress had a few recommendations when it came to the food and being our first time there we went with them and they did not disappoint! Everything was cooked perfectly! Yesterday was my first time here and we had the Mediterranean Mezze Platter along with Spanakopita-both delicious and freshly made. The pizza looked delicious and the atmosphere is awesome. I only wish I had room for dessert. To top it off our server Chrissy had the sweetest personality and was 100% attentive!

We were looking for a BYOB with a great menu and we found it. Extremely satisfied with the menu options. We had the mezze appetizer and took several items for take-out. The service was great as well as the atmosphere. Will definitely return in the future
