The food was okay. The place was small but cozy. The waiters were very attentive. I didn't like the butter on my raisen toast. The waiter exchanged it for me. The breakfast potatoes were amazing. 😊

Really really nice place. Everything was excellent. I had the ham and cheese omelet with grits and a side of bacon. My wife had a short stack with eggs over medium and bacon. My omelet was cooked just right, and the bacon was crispy. My grits were perfect as well. I would definitely recommend this place.

Small place with home cooking. Good breakfast, cooked they way we requested. No issues with service, food, or atmosphere. Prices won't empty your pockets either.

Delicious. Had the hungryman. My scrambled eggs were fluffy. The bacon was meaty (not fatty) and cooked perfectly — almost crisp but still chewy. Sausage patty was meaty and great. Pancake was moist with a great batter-y taste. Grits were great (and I’m not normally a grits person). Biscuit and gravy were solid too. Potatoes were cooked to perfection. Had all that with a big glass of milk for $15. It was so good.

Don't judge a book by its cover is the definition here. I have found a new place to eat everyday. Home cooked real food.

My wife, dog and I were in a road trip from Miami to San Francisco and were craving a hearty breakfast. Found this place and it was simply fantastic. How an omelette can be so good? Because it was made with lots of love. Veggies and bacon were chopped small and cooked crispy. The service was warm and fantastic. Thank you for making like home far away from home. Be blessed!

Just what I was looking for after traveling in from Chicago. Great food, great service and an incredible dessert. I felt like I was sitting in a home filled with family and friends… not a restaurant. The Mexican cornbread was a great suggestion! Glad I stopped in.

Great little hole in the wall. Got seated right as I walked in. Placed my order and within five minutes it was in front of me. Very friendly place and will definitely be back.

Even though store schedule shows they are open on Mondays, they weren't last Monday, and I have no clue as to why.

The food is amazing, but the french toast is.. 🤢... please don't order it. Everything else is great. I got a cheese omelete with breakfast potatoes & biscuits and gravy, needless to say, I'm VERY full after this. The taste of the gravy is so good, and the biscuits are DELICIOUS. I'd recommend!

Not much on atmosphere because this is a hustling bustling place. It is always a good sign when the parking lot is crowded and you have to wait. Food is as good as any meat/3 restaurant with friendly, hard working staff. Hint: For one of your veggies, get the cobbler. Wink Wink!

So I'm not sure what took me so long to eat at this one. But boy have I been missing out! Did breakfast here and I'm getting hungry again just thinking about this place! Check the day and hours before you head there, but there's a reason why the parking lot is nearly full! Don't miss this one!

This place has the BEST food! Their breakfast cannot be beat. The servers are also the BEST! If you go in a couple of times, they will remember your coffee preferences.

Food has always been good. They was always open at 6 am, now the changed the open hrs. So sad, because I can't go now.

Hidden Gem. Great food with fast friendly service. They are really cooking at this place. The food was quality & fresh. Make sure you get there on time. When something runs out, it's out. That's real cooking right there. Dining area is cozy & welcoming. Don't forget to tip the cooks & the waitresses. You'll see why when you go.

I had breakfast and ordered the sample platter with a pancake. It’s a lot of food. Everything was nice and hot and delicious. Grits were normal grits, a little better than Waffle House. Potatoes were crispy and eggs were cooked perfectly. Pancake was good too. Great place to get breakfast if you can make the haul to Olive Branch.

Down home country cooking with a country feel. Food is wonderful. I had country fried steak and gravy, turnip greens, and fried green tomatoes. Fast, Friendly service. Can't wait to go back for breakfast which they are well-known for.

Great breakfast friendly, simple country home type atmosphere, not so commercial.

Visiting Memphis area for Liberty Bowl game and found this gem accidentally. Our party of 10-4 adults and 6 kids, was seated quickly, staff was very friendly, other customers were friendly as well. We ordered breakfast and portions were good sized and food was great. Bacon was delicious.

A small little spot that has some really great food for a great price. The staff is awesome as well. I recommend this place if you're in the area and like some good Southern home cooking.

Stopped in on our way to Ole Miss football game. What a great spot with friendly staff and scratch made excellent breakfast fare. Their poorman is to die for. Be sure to get their biscuits and gravy. Also the country fried steak is a gem. The bacon is homemade and we met the guy who slaughters the pigs. Yes he did bring his Glock with him

My wife and I found this place by accident and it was terrific! The staff was very efficient and friendly! Looks like a restaurant where the locals hang out.

Today was my first time visiting! The breakfast was so good and the tea was freshly brewed and not too sweet. Great service. I just wish they were open on the weekends. #Amazing Amazing

They are always so friendly and genuinely happy to see you when you arrive. They have had the same servers for years and it is not a surprise. They are a great team! The food is good too. The price is right as well. Only issue is it is very small so sometimes there is a wait but it is worth it. Even the customers are friendly here. I guess it feels like home 😀

Slightly off the beaten path, but well worth checking out. I had The Poorman, and it was delicious. The service was great, and the regulars were extremely friendly.

This is a small, local restaurant located off a back road outside of town. Good daily lunches and reasonable prices. Good service and good food. Looks like it was remodeled since we ate here. Still same look outside. Little cleaner looking on the inside. Service is good.

On Tuesdays they make great chicken livers! You have to try them. They're the special for the day and not to be missed.
