Outstanding!!!! Can't say enough good things. Our server was Stacey. 15 out of 10 stars to her! On point with cleaning up after us and so nice when we asked questions. This was our first time there. We wandered outside after dinner and stumbled across the live music and the beautiful outdoor setting. So relaxing. Every staff member we encountered was top notch. In good moods and so accommodating. Keep up the great work!!!!

I'm never disappointed when we go to the Nordic. The staff is phenomenal.The Seafood is the best Ever. Looking forward to next time.We travel from upstate New York.❤️

The food was good but the lobster was a bit chewy. The staff was very attentive and polite and the atmosphere was very nice. The grounds around the restaurant was beautiful and there were benches with fires you sit near. There was also music outdoors. Very nice.

What can I say. All you can eat lobster, king crab legs, filet mignon. All prepared excellently. Everything else looked very good. LOL. The service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our waitress was attentive and cheerful. She was very helpful.

Came from near Toronto just to enjoy this wonderful restaurant AGAIN!! The food was incredible, service great, everyone was friendly and the grounds are really beautiful. What can I say... this place is fantastic!!!

It's was kind of disappointing. The waiting time is unbearable and when you're finally called the food area is small for what you pay.

I've been looking forward to coming here for years , and never really got around to it. But on 8/23/24 I finally went as a late birthday celebration. Everything from the food, to the ambiance, and the staff were nothing short of amazing. Between all the food offerings, there seemed to be something for everyone. I recommend paying attention to their social media pages to stay updated on the best times to go to ensure a smooth experience. Everyone in my party left feeling full and satisfied. Afterwards we watched the sunset in the back before heading back home. I'm already looking forward to my next trip!

The Nordic is an experience. All you can eat lobster, crab legs, scallops wrapped in bacon, prime rip, steak tips, ice cream sundae bar...it's pricey but the experience is unlike any other.

This is my first time here with my family and it was my.Birthday and it was outstanding service and food, Jake is the man and so is are waitress Country was outstanding as well, highly recommended this place.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. If you were considering going this is definitely your confirmation to go. You will NOT be disappointed. Leadership, staff, food and atmosphere were all exceptional. Cannot wait to return.

We celebrated a family birthday here. What a great place! The little bit of a wait time seemed like nothing as we sat under the outdoor Pavillion near the lake and enjoyed a drink. Beautifully maintained grounds and enough things to keep you occupied while you wait. The food and service were wonderful! The staff was friendly and not pushy or bothered by questions. I recommend pacing yourself as there are far too many delicious choices and of course dessert!

I went here for my birthday and had a perfect time. I went to town on the lobster, but there are many great options. And the vibes out by the pond are very lovely and peaceful.

Our third year in a row visiting for birthday celebrations and just as satisfied as our first visit! The grounds are beautiful and relaxing to hang out while we waited for our table (we arrived a half hour early for our reservation, but we were still seated within ten minutes of arriving). As always, all staff was wonderful. From our host to waiter. This is the second time we have had Gavin as our waiter and we can’t say enough about how friendly and attentive he is. My husband is a veteran and enjoyed his complimentary drink very much! As well as the fact that your restaurant celebrates veterans. We had our fill of the delicious lobster and other seafood. Plus who can say no to perfectly cooked prime rib! And even though we were stuffed from dinner, we had to have dessert! My brownie sundae was delicious… and the brownie was served warm! Yum!!! Everything was great. Tables are promptly cleared of shells, etc. Never had to wait for a beverage. And food delicious. You have become part of our favorite annual trips!

We drove 13 hrs from Michigan, it was worth every second. The food is amazing, the staff here are very friendly and polite. Our server Jess was wonderful we wanted and waited for nothing she even showed us how to peel the lobster properly

Honestly, for the price, I’m not sure if it’s worth it. I certainly left stuffed to the brim with seafood, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that I might have had a more enjoyable time spending the same amount of money at a restaurant instead of a buffet. I will say, however, that it’s probably worth the experience if you’re in the area, and willing to overlook the price to quality ratio - I had a great time with my family enjoying the novelty of the crab and lobster buffet. Will I ever go back? Probably not, but was it a waste of time and money? I don’t think that’s true either.

Really great spot for all you can eat seafood! You will usually have to wait a while unless you come right when they open. You'll also want to drive or rent a car to get to the Nordic because they are in a remote area and Ubers may not reach you when you want to leave. Staff are all very friendly. Make sure to come within a week before or after your birthday to get a birthday gift at the souvenir counter! They have whole lobsters for you to eat and crab legs. That's a small raw bar of clams and oysters and some cold appetizers. There's also a lot of hot food options as well as steak and chicken nuggets. Everything is very good and I highly recommend coming to check it out!

As always great. Plenty of good choices on display. Lobster was a little over cook and slightly tougher than I've had at fine dining, but still very tasty and with all their choices for all you can eat seafood lovers I still highly recommend.

I would have given 5 stars, but cost $900 for 6 people. It was a little too expensive for how much we ate. Next time, we will sit out back and order Ala cart by the water.

A yearly staple that never gets old! The grounds are breath taking, the food is fabulous and the staff is top notch. Watching all of the young staff outside, work so diligently and without looking at their phone, and actually care was so great to watch. I love everything about the Nordic. The watermelon mojito is also a must try!! Love the fried scallops!! Thank you Nordic.

Food obviously was amazing there is a dress code nothing skimpy and revealing for women and no tank tops muscle shirts for men also no beach attire. $135a person plus drinks I believe was $10-$15 and they are open Friday Saturday and Sunday Friday they are only open for a few hours 5:00-7:30 groups of 20 or less Sunday you need reservations. Very expensive for most people but for the price they definitely don't disappoint I easily ate my money's worth and then some. I went on a Friday and stayed the 2 hours

Great place and was surprised that the quality of the food was better than some of the high end restaurants. By far the best buffet I have ever been to. The price is a little bit up there but you sure get what you pay for here. We spent 250 and was worth it. Will be going there again.

What an experience, I think I needed to be rolled out of the place. Incredible! So much food. The prime rib was sooooo tender and delicious;he had seconds. Like cutting butter, the best I ever had. The crab legs, the oysters (full raw bar), the shrimp, the everything! The dessert bar. The entertainment outside. What an absolute trip. Some might say 'Pricey', but worth every penny. Shout out to Michael and his staff. What a pleasure, I can't wait to tell others and cherish this one of a kind experience. Soooo good!

What can I say about this place but it is amazing I searched all over the world and nowhere but maybe two other spots in the world you can order all you can eat whole lobster and that's what I ate and it was delicious. I had to drive a long ways to get there but trust me if you get a chance to get in the area you need to give it a try because it is definitely worth the drive if you're in the area the food is fresh and it's prepared and it's all you can eat just make sure you don't eat the day before because you'll be upset because the price is $100 plus per person. I have been to this place several times and trust me it's worth the money and all that you get.

Thought it’d be cool to check this off my bucket list but i found the place to just be ok. Nothing great. The prime rib looks way better in pictures than it tastes in person. I expected them to have more options? Like fried clams. I wouldn’t go back. Rather just make my own lobster at home for half the price and no time limit :)

Amazing staff from the youngest to the oldest, all were helpful, kind and polite.the food was of higher quality and plenty of it,well worth the price of $135. Plenty of parking spaces with a well manicured and clean outdoor setting . ITS TRULY A HIDDEN GEM (MY FIRST VISIT)

This is the pinnacle of seafood buffets. We flew in from Mexico City 🇲🇽 just to eat here. The food was fantastic. If you like lobster 🦞, crab 🦀, and shrimp 🍤. Save room for dessert 🍨. The grounds are beautiful. There are animals. Rest on the hammocks or sit by the firepit after dinner. This is a one of a kind experience

i go every year, this year for me was not the best, the lobsters were good but cold a couple of them not even warm, i ate six of them and they were all over cooked, the tails were tough.... the lobster bisque was the best along with the mac & cheese. the outside ground were clean but the pond and the water was dirty and smelled, the fountain was spraying brown water...

A wonderful experience. I went to celebrate a birthday. Amazing time had by all. Great service and beautiful grounds. You are also given a gift at the gift shop. Just present I.D. to the clerk to prove your Birthday. Very nice surprise.

The Nordic was all it was talked up to be. Upon entry, the hostess was able to accommodate us by seating us earlier than our reservation. Niki, our server, was fantastic. She explained our dining options, then we were off to the races. Every item was fresh; hot food was hot and cold was cold. The options are plenty. And the dessert bar was delicious. The dining and bathroom areas were clean. Had the opportunity to meet the manager, who has been employed there for 44 years, which made the visit that much more special. The grounds were pristine and green, and the lake view while sitting in an Adirondack or swing, is unbeatable. We’ll be back with friends.

Perfect place to spend a quiet and family day

This place is a seafood lovers happy place. Every single piece of crab and lobster was delicious. Honestly, there wasn’t anything we didn’t enjoy. It is a little pricey though. Our server, Marion, was amazing. She was attentive and super pleasant. I will definitely return.

Worth going out of your way for the food and experience. Between lobster, crab, oysters, and prime rib, it’s easy to get your moneys worth. Food is as good as all the raves. Not the biggest buffet around, but the quality of the seafood makes it well worth the trip.

We had an absolutely perfect dining experience at the Nordic. The prime rib was amazing as was the shrimp cocktail. Service was on point and our server was so friendly and as busy as she was she took the time to share her international college experiences with us which we really enjoyed. We’re going back tomorrow.

I haven’t been here yet but I’m excited to get there and visit and take in the atmosphere and eat some delicious food!!!! I have never been to the East Coast so hopefully I’ll be able to visit sooner than later!! Saw this review for The Nordic on Instagram and it blew my mind!!!! The reviews on here look phenomenal!!! Been wanting to go here for over 10 years lol finally got a chance to go and I can say it was well worth it this place was awesome the outside atmosphere was great they had animals fire pits hammocks a pond ECT all the food was delicious 😋 well worth the hour and a half wait to be seated they had a pretty good variety of things to choose from

We've been coming here since the early 2000's This is our "go to" restaurant to entertain foreign guests, family, and friends. I won't comment on the food, service, or atmosphere, my 5-star ratings speak to that. However, to have an enjoyable time, you must plan your visit... Right down to the time to show up. Otherwise, be mentally prepared to wait for a fairly long time. If you call ahead (can't make reservations unless 20+) they should be able to recommend some times of low traffic. Price is high, but if you're an eater, you'll eat more than your money's worth. Highly recommend.

All you can eat buffet. Very good choices of steaks and seafood. The grounds are very well kept with places to sit and relax.

To celebrate my 60th birthday we returned to The Nordic after 10 years and it was still outstanding. The seafood is the star of the buffet, with lobster, crab legs and stuffed shrimp and bacon wrapped scallops as my favorites. However, the prime rib was tender enough to cut with a butter knife and so flavorful. The fillet and ribs looked great too! With a little room left for desserts, the choices were plentiful and delicious! Ryan was our server and he was friendly and attentive to everything we needed. We sat outside by the water to enjoy the beautiful afternoon and relax while the band was playing. The Nordic has something for everyone, the hard part is deciding which options to choose. The food, service and atmosphere are exceptional and worth the price because the quality is so important.

My family and I have been coming here since 2018 as a yearly family road trip and it's an A+ experience every time. Food, staff, and atmosphere are all great!!! Definitely worth the weekend road trip.

I had seen postings and heard about The Nordic from friends. I could pass up the opportunity to take the drive. Got up early one Saturday and drove from NJ to RI. Never have any expectations so, I won’t be disappointed. The Nordic delivered! The food was amazing, so many options to choose from and 2 hours to make it happen. Raved about it to some friends and planning another visit in September. The grounds were picturesque and we picked a beautiful day to go. It was a bit of a wait because of a few bus loads of patrons arrived ahead of us. We were seated at our reserved time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Gavin is a gem. Wonderful service from him and most of the staff were very delightful. The food has always been excellent in the numerous times I’ve been here. Can’t wait to come back.

The huge lobsters, scallops and shrimp are gone. Didn’t see any filet mignon. The prices went up food went down

Not even close to the hype of this place. 135 Dollars a person and nothing done for you, lobsters whole not split , and yes they had jumbo shrimp shell on ! Scallops small just poor presentation all around . I am a restaurant owner ,,, you need to put your costumers first not your wallet. My hands still have cuts on them from handling and cracking lobsters. Even my go to sushi buffet at 38 per person has snow crab and yes peeled jumbo shrimp. Oh yeah one other thing I forgot on the website they stated king crab legs another reason I went my son Dominic his favorite ,,nothing there , just snow crab. Do not bother going definitely not worth the price medicor at best.

Amazing place! Food was amazing!! The atmosphere and staff were great!! The wait time was 30 minutes at 1:00pm (well worth it). I recommend this for anyone who loves seafood! They also have steak! 10/10 would definitely be returning!

I saw a post about this place somewhere on the social media a few years ago and added it to my bucket list. This year I decided to visit it for my birthday. We drove 4 hours to get there and it didn’t disappoint. We visited on Saturday evening, around 5 pm and there was no wait to get in. The place was gorgeous and inviting with exceptional customer service. There was a buffet style restaurant with great variety of delicious food-mostly seafood, but there were dishes for meat lovers as well. Large selection of various delicious desserts. They charge the entrance fee-$135, and you can spend maximum 2 hours at the buffet. In addition, you can order a drink to your meal. Blueberry mojito was recommended to us and it was delicious. Nordic is not just a seafood buffet. It’s located on gorgeous estate with beautiful landscaping, lake, pond, farm animals, outdoor games and live music. Wish we would arrive there a bit earlier to have more time to enjoy beautiful views, peace and tranquility. Thank you for your hospitality and great time!

Really we got the most undeserved seating and our group are not huge people we got shunned I doubt I will be back, Not sure why the owner replied and blocked me, I would think the owner would reply nicely to a person and group that are not big eaters and tried the lobster tail that is not from New England are and the prime rib was thin and dry. Expensive but completely worth it. Probably the best buffet I've ever been to. All you can eat seafood including lobster, crab, oysters and scallops. Staff were good-natured and accommodating. Definitely shouldn't miss this place if you're in the area.

I am not sure where I read about King crab being on the buffet. When I arrived I was informed they haven't been able to get it for a couple of years. We decided on a trip to the northeast nearly 2,000 miles away with the Nordic set as the cherry on top at the end. For 135 dollars I honestly expected at least two varieties of crab and more seafood options. The smoked salmon was delicious, the lobster was steamed but lacked flavor, the crab legs were good but not even pre sliced. The steak was mediocre, not even brisket for 135 dollars? I have been to Vegas buffets for half the price that at least offer lobster and 3 varieties of crab for half the price. The atmosphere was quite nice. Had I known there was no king crab I would have visited in Portland longer. Overall this buffet is a let down and one of those buffets you may visit once in your life. Had it not been a 3 hour drive each way I would have walked out and ate at a local diner.

Best kept secret? Expensive but what a buffet! Whole afternoon experience with a band, hammocks. Firepit. Bar service. Lobster and prime rib and steak, oh my. Lobster bisque for sure

I heard so much good things about this place. It was a two hour drive. I did enjoy everything except the lobster. WHY? Because the Lobster was Very over cooked , tuft & chewy.

My husband and I took our almost 4 years old granddaughter to Nordic for her first time on Father's Day. She loved everything from the food, the atmosphere, the staff, the animals, everything! We will make it a tradition to take her back with us each time we go.

The Nordic has great customer service, most delicious lobsters (all you can eat), different desserts, and fruits to choose. Plenty of parking available. This is a must go to for lobsters 🦞 steak, etc....

The lobster was a bit overcooked, but its a buffet so its understandable. The service and aesthetics were amazing, and the employees there were very friendly and very attentive to our needs. We had a great time!

For years I heard about this buffet for it is not a buffet it is heaven for those of us who like to eat and I made plans with my best friend and before going I saw photos online of the food and the restaurant believe me in photos the food looks good but in person and the smell of the food, the quality, the freshness, the flavor in each variety of food, meat, seafood, desserts, pasta, you have no way to write it or comment on it, you have to come and live it, enjoy it, taste it, I'm telling you, this is heaven, it's one of the very few things. that are enjoyed in life, well if you are a chubby guy like me and you like to eat lol

Yet another fantastic visit to the best buffet in that I have ever been to in my life. I have been going there for over 30 years and it never has been less than great. The food, staff and the grounds are the best. Yes it’s not an inexpensive meal but for what you get it’s a bargain compared to going to the national lobster restaurant since you can have lobster, filet, chowder, crab legs, oysters, salads, clams, Hagen Daz ice cream, choice of deserts, fresh fruit chocolate covered strawberries, cherries, soft drinks, coffee and the list goes on and on. All for the one price which includes tax and tip. If you’ve never been you have to go to experience but bring an appetite. The grounds are on a lake and their is a volleyball court and you can play corn hole toss and look at the animals grazing.

People come here for the unlimited lobster. It's good but it's a bit overcooked by the end of the day. The steaks and prime rib are very good though and honestly everything is great! Of it wasn't so expensive, it probably would be a must go for every Rhode Islander. After you're completely stuffed, take a walk outside on their beautiful grounds to let the food settle.

Really great experience! The exterior was super nice - hammocks, seating, cornhole, and bathrooms. Food speaks for itself. My husband and I were extremely satisfied with the seafood, steak, and dessert selection. We’d be willing to make the trip from NJ to eat there again.

I’m down in Florida and went to the Boston Lobster Feast for $64.95 per person. How can they do the same thing for half the price? And it’s Maine Lobster

This place didnt disappoint. Food and service were exceptional. Didnt bother taking pics bc you're timed. Buffet is 2 hours which is plenty of time to enjoy your meal with out rushing. Beautiful patio to enjoy while you wait. We had no wait we walked in and was seated right away

The price of this place is ridiculous and too expensive for two ppl. I remember when it was affordable. You can only eat so much. I rather get seafood elsewhere. Overrated forsure.
