Best Old Fashioned I Have ever had.

Off the beaten path. Above average salad bar and menu.

Great food, great service and prices so low they'd make big city restraunt owners cry.

I eat there regularly prime rib is amazing. I love the cod. Josh is a fantastic host. The service is excellent. You can’t beat the prices, and they truly have the best salad bar around!

To be brutally honest as usual, the best part about the whole experience is the service. The food is not good by any standard, the atmosphere is non-existent. The only reason this dive is getting 2 stars is because of the service.

Largest fresh salad bar anywhere. Kudos to the chef, prime rib grilled and plated to perfection! Our waitress and server Derinda, was most friendly, engaging and accommodating as well as the entire staff. Must get there early as their great reputation fills the restaurant fast. Best shrimp around. Today we went for lunch. It was excellent.

Small town charm. Great food at an honest price. Didn't know that 90% of the old fashions they sell are with brandy.Well be back! Oh...and pickled Herring on the salad bar.

We almost went elsewhere but read that place's reviews directing us to come here... good save! Our group is staying at the Decorah High Point Cabins for the weekend looking for local flavor. Boy, did we find it at the Old Rossville Store! From steaks to chicken to the Friday night cod it was all cooked and served to delicious perfection! My husband's pork tenderloin was the only low point of the meal because it appeared to have come straight out of the freezer into the fryer (leaving him with broasted cod envy) but other than that we couldn't find fault. The food, service, atmosphere, and price easily make this the best meal anyone in our group has enjoyed in years. Thank you!

Been coming to the Decorah/Highlandville area for 20+ years for fishing, camping and hunting getaways. Was googling to find something different for dinner tonight. Found this gem and decided to give it a try. Service and food were exceptional! We will return!

I really enjoy a place that has the Old Supper Club feel. The Old Rossville has that exact feeling. A good Salad Bar is a must and they don't disappoint !! They even had my favorite..a large bowl of Pickled Herring ! My Prime Rib was cooked perfectly and I just needed to add a little Garlic Salt and my beloved Black Pepper and it was golden !! For just $6 more I got three deep fried Jumbo Shrimp. All this at a extremely reasonable price. Definitely zero room for dessert.

We have been going to The Old Rossville Store for many years with cutting back since the pandemic. Todd and family serve the finest and freshness meat, seafood, chicken and yummy salad bar. Best prime rib I've had in quite awhile. Other area establishments could take lessons from Rossville on the prime rib.

Great local find of a classic supper club. Prime rib was great and cooked just as ordered (some reviews say to order one step higher than you usually do but I found them to be spot on). Also split the seafood platter and was pleasantly surprised at the size and freshness of "Midwest" seafood. Was only in the area for a short time and was worth the stop.

The ribeye was awesome although my medium rare was rare. My friend ordered medium and his was my medium rare. Even still, the steaks were awesome. Wasn't a fan of the hash browns though. Will return when I'm in the area again. Oh. Hats off to the fabulous salad bar.

Love the Prime Rib here..always cooked to perfection and the salad bar is yummy..not a fancy dining room but sure is a fancy friendly place to break bread with family and friends!

The prime rib special was excellent! The atmosphere is very small town casual and the wait staff was incredibly friendly. They have a very nice little salad bar that comes with most meals, it has your normal fixings of potato and pasta salads, lettuce with various toppings and dressings, and two different kinds of soup. I got a baked potato as my vegetable of choice and it was cooked perfectly. The prime rib was seasoned quite well, had good flavor, and was served with au jus. A very good experience!

The Pork Chop was super thick and delicious! Grilled to perfection. Salad bar was freshly attended. Seemed to draw customers from far and wide. I hear the prime rib is amazing.

OMG, the Prime Rib and Shrimp Dinner is to die for! Make sure you ask to have cut horseradish with your dinner! Josh and his crew does a great job, even in these times of Covid.

One of the few superclubs left. Excellent food and salad bar. Large choice of dinners. Worth a tasty if you are in north east Iowa.

Great prime rib! But very busy on weekends so be sure to get there early or you will be waiting a bit for a table.

Go on Thursday, try the ribs. If you miss Thursday you won't be disappointed with the fish on Friday.

We've eaten here for years. Everything is wonderful. Fish on Fridays awesome, whether broiled or fried, and the Thursday night bbq ribs are fantastic, fall off the bone tender. Josh has a great thing going here.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They were very busy, and people drive an hour to eat there, then chat, have a drink, and have fun while awaiting a table. The pork tenderloin sandwich was tender, thick, juicy, flavorful, and was the best I'd had in a long time. The fried chicken and fish were also excellent. The fried fish was also thick, like meat. We will definitely go there again.

Fantastic food! After years of hearing about the Old Rossville Store we FINALLY made to northern Iowa, and what a great meal we enjoyed. Worth the trip.

Fantastically surprised by this diamond in the ruff. Was extremely busy and they were properly staffed . Overall great visit will return when in NE Iowa.
