You better call ahead to eat in this hallway or you might not get a seat or get to eat. "Authentic japanese food" and not a single japanese person works here. Feels kinda like going to tacobell for mexican food. A few blocks over is an amazing authentic sushi place. Take out only tho* Also they only take cash or venmo here👎🏽

Got an order of the chili garlic tuna and the udon noodle bowl. It was absolutely phenomenal! The flavors are well-balanced and complement each other well. Been living here for four years and this was my first time trying this place out. I’m leaving Bethlehem in two days and safe to say this place will be missed! I might just place another order for tomorrow …

Great food. I don't usually like to do sushi this far from the ocean but decided to give this a shot. I am glad I did. Interesting specials, great tasting food, reasonably priced. It is a very small restaurant, kind of like the traditional spots you see in Japan. I am a big dude so I was brushed up against by anyone and everyone walking by. Next time I think I'll sit at the bar to avoid that.

This was a really cool spot to eat and the sushi is the best I’ve EVER had! It didn’t hurt having great music on too. We went for my wife’s birthday. I can’t wait to come back!

Food was just ok but then I woke up around 2 am and threw everything up. My guess is bc everything is out in the open and it's a very small place. The staff was really nice so it sucks that they are the only good thing about this place.

Good sushi rolls with lots of variety on the menu. They also have very good noodle bowls, which are definitely worth a try. They don't have a liquor license, so it's byob. One thing to note, the restaurant is very small, so seating could be difficult for larger groups.

Best sushi in the area, hands down. BYOB. The garlic tuna app is to die for, and their other dishes are unique and flavorful. It's a small place and you will be squished unless you get the big table in the front, but I liken it to an authentic izakaya-style experience. The service is always prompt and friendly. Highly recommend.

If you have ever been to a major city in Japan you know that every side street has a hidden small restaurant with counter service, a couple tables,and amazing food, and that is what The Other Fish reminds me of. The sushi is amazing but there are other options which are just as great! Watching the shrimp tempura app being hand battered and fried in front of you somehow enhances the flavor. Same with the chicken katsu which may be the best dish on the menu. And don't sleep on the larrel salad which not sure how, but tastes fresher and crisper than any salad I've ever eaten. Plus it helps that the staff is super friendly and it's BYOB.

The food and the service were terrific. And the outdoor seating was nice. The only thing missing was any mention of the establishment being BYOB on their website. Unfortunately we found that out after sitting down. But overall a great experience.

On a whim we changed our dinner plans at the last minute, and I'm sure glad we did! The food, staff, and ambiance were amazing. Everyone should be getting drunk on a Tuesday. That and the watermelon and tuna special were amazing. Make sure that you belly up to the sushi bar and talk to the staff. They're great! Even though we're a trek away, we will definitely be coming back again!

This is a small, intimate Japanese restaurant. The owner, Matt, is a super guy that will make an enjoyable Japanese entree for you. The special "sushi/sashimi dinner for two" he prepares for us is delicious. The waiter (Yuri) is very friendly and will aim to please you. We highly recommend you try the restaurant for its delectable Japanese style food and warm, cozy environment. This review is based off take out/delivery only. Dine in service may be different. The food is GREAT but the service has gone way down hill in the past couple of years. First of all, they reduced the days and hours that they’re open. I have called at 8:15 and they’ve refused to take my order because it was too late apparently. They used to be open tuesdays but they aren’t anymore. They offer delivery but almost never have a delivery person on. The portions have also gotten smaller. They used to fill soups to the top in plastic tall soup containers. Now they fill flat plastic containers which not only makes it a pain to eat out of, but also equals about half the portion. Idk what’s going on with this place. I gave it a 3 because the food is still awesome but it’s kinda like these guys just don’t care anymore.

Best sushi in the Lehigh Valley. You cannot top this place. The owner Matt is such a chill guy. Yuri is my absolute favorite staff member. Everyone there seems to love what they do. The food is phenomenal every single time I have ever come here. I have never once been disappointed. I can't recommend this place enough.

Despite being called The Other Fish this restaurant is the only fish game in town doing something special with sushi. The restaurant is cozy and maintains more of a BYOB Izakaya vibe. The staff is warm and welcoming and the food is truly very good. No other sushi restaurant is trying anything other than typical rolls and the fish is equally generous and fresh. The restaurant is cash and venmo only and is priced at least 25% below the area’s average.

We dined in, the guys that were working were all super cool guys who were very friendly and ultimately. Made the experience great. The sushi itself was great as well. The are also very accommodating, I personally like a side of steamed rice with my sushi and it was no problem at all even though this wasn’t explicitly placed on the menu. Overall great experience and can’t wait to go back.

Sushi was falling apart. If I’m going to pay high, expectation should be set higher. Totally different from when they first opened.

The Other Fish is *so good*. It's a small business in a small restaurant run by the best staff. Yuri is great, and the man who makes the sushi (sorry, not on a first name basis with him) is so talented! Everything is made with such care and the ingredients are always fresh. "The Other Fish" sushi roll is the best I've had, though the Blue Crab, the Natalie, and the Dragon roll are all great too. If you're in the area, absolutely make a reservation for this place!

First time ever having sushi! Felt comfortable and the staff and owner did an awesome job!! My date loved it too and wants to go sometime again! FYI..I was trained how to use chop sticks for the next time!!

My wife and I went here on our anniversary and left extremely satisfied. The food was incredible from start to finish, the service top notch, and the prices were reasonable. I can't give it 5 stars cause it's not enough space to comfortably dine inside (I almost tripped and fell on the way to our table!), and they only take cash or Venmo, no card. Besides that, this place rules.

If you are looking for sushi with some flare, this is the spot for you. The dishes are delectable, aesthetically appealing, and expertly put together. The staff is incredible. They are so friendly and inviting. My partner and I love going and sitting at the sushi bar to watch them and to engage with them. We love it! They have outside seating as well.

Looking for sushi? Don't go anywhere else in the city of Bethlehem! This restaurant is by far the best of it's kind in the Lehigh Valley area. Sushi chef Matt has taken this talent to it's highest level possible. Along with John and Yuri the three of them make an unbelievable team, Anytime you visit they will have specials which you will not find anywhere else, They're constantly creating new dishes which are sure to please anyone. If you like sushi and love to try different things, don't go anywhere else.

I'm a pretty good cook, so when I go out to dinner I want something special - something I can't do. This was amazing. I loved the spicy seafood soup. They made it as spicy as I wanted it, it was flavorful and served piping hot. The chicken entree was delicious as well! We will definitely go again!

Blown away! I love sushi and thought I had found all the good places in the area. Then friends told us about The Other Fish. This place is incredible! From the sashimi/garlic appetizer to the unique and crazy roll they had as a special (involved kielbasa), to ending with fried Oreos, it was a fantastic experience and we will without question be going back. It is a smaller place so you definitely need a reservation but it is absolutely worth it!

I love the food and atmosphere. The employees there are soo nice and have such a positive energy. My only complaint is how small the building is, so when your sitting at the table and people are at the counters, their butts are awfully close to you. Thank god no one had gas that night. Haha. But definitely will be back!

We had another awesome night at TOF…just the best food, atmosphere and our favorite people in the world! Tried the Sweet Pea for the first time and it was AMAZING!! Hubs tried the Gritty and he LOVED it! There is no better sushi around!! Love these guys!!

Eclectic sushi spot with a lot of personality. Laid back service. Limited indoor seating, but there is outdoor seating as well. Byob. The food was amazing. There are a mix of traditional sushi picks and more creative rolls. I got the special (sweet pea roll) which was incredible. My friend got the appetizer special - a spicy tuna empanada. The empanada was also incredible. We almost ordered a second one. The dyno roll was my personal face. The mango salsa on top was *chef kiss fingers*.

You've been trying to find the best sticky rice and the freshest tasting sushi-- you can't give up until you find it. You're on the "Google Site" looking at the highest rated sushi restaurants in the area, but can you trust the opinions of people who have never eaten amazing sushi? Of people who have the time to leave reviews? Is this review written by a minor character in the main story that is YOUR life or is this review even real? You begin to doubt yourself. The sizing of their portions was perfect and justified their price. I didn't feel like they were penny-pinching and that's reflected in the size and the robust flavor of their food. Excellent sushi, service and atmosphere. On our most recent visit we enjoyed the special wings as an appetizer, the current sushi special G.O.A.T., Wayno, the self-titled TOF, and Spicy Lover - Recommend any and all, I've never had something here that I didn't enjoy. Don't forget to BYOB.

Pricey but delicious! I really enjoyed this little hole in the wall sushi restaurant in Bethlehem. The service is also great! they only have a couple of tables for outside dining only and curbside but it is definitely worth it, if you're in the mood for sushi. Oh, and don't forget to BYOB!

Visiting the town and searched for a good sushi restaurant, this one was recommended by the hotel. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!! Went there twice during our stay actually! It’s been over two years since I and I still can’t stop thinking about the noodle soup or sushi...delicious! Love the quaint and cozy atmosphere...you feel like they are cooking just for you! Super nice folks! Thank you for such a memorable experience!

This place is amazing. Everything is fresh and tastes amazing. The ramen and sushi rolls are second to none. The staff is really friendly and nice. It is a small place but thats not a negative, it makes it a very intimate experience

The food was exquisite, it's a BYOB if you come and want to bring your favourite bottle of wine or beer you'll enjoy it with your meal. My first time at this restaurant. The service was exceptional, will definitely come back again. If you are in the neighborhood please stop by and enjoy it with family and friends, I highly recommended.

The Japaneese hot dog was suggested by Matt (owner and head chef) and I have no words to accurately describe the flavors. Like NOTHING I've ever had. The goat roll and Pork Chop roll was also a must have! Fun place to discover over and over!

Quality! I spent about 50 dollars (including a tip) on a single meal, without a single regret. I ordered two rolls, 'The Other Fish' and 'The Vegas Roll,' and Japanese style wings for an app. I enjoyed every bite. It's small and intimate, certainly suitable for a date. I also found it to be comfortable as an individual eating dinner at the counter space that was available in addition to the tables near the window. All in all, just downright great Japanese food. Go try it for yourself.

Absolutely amazing food, make sure you get there early space is very limited but it is absolutely worth the wait. Everyone here takes pride in what they do and it shows in the quality of their food. If you order the wrong and make sure you get an extra egg trust me

Just OK. Another hyped up asian inspired restaurant. I think it fits better as an asian fusion inspired restaurant. Waaay too many sushi rolls included cream cheese. Was very disapointed in the shrimp tempura roll. It was bland. I have never had a bland tempura roll. My guest got the ramen, which was also disappointing. The broth itself had no flavor. The only flavors that came through were too much sesame oil and chili oil. It almost made the ramen inedible.

I've only been here twice but both times I was blown away. The two owners are super nice and really take pride in their food. The ramen bowl with chili oil is incredible and the true definition of comfort food. The gyoza and crab wontons are also incredible. This place is a little small so sometimes it's hard to get into but if you can get in, you will not be disappointed. I would give this place six out of five stars if I could!

WOW! I just tried this the other night for the first time and was super impressed. I had a hard time choosing, everything sounded delicious. They have a few specials that really seemed out-of-the-box amazing... I cannot wait to go back! I think I found my new go to sushi restaurant. The staff was very attentive without being pushy. The sushi is very good and staff is freindly. Knocked a star because seating is very tight and close quarters. Wouldn't recommend coming here with a group.
