Stopped here on a recommendation of a bartender in the area and definitely will go here again.

The server did not give me all of the change I was owed. When I asked why she said they round up or down and never give exact change. It is illegal to charge more than the advertised price. She did not give me my change back.

Great spot! Most of the bartenders are so friendly and fun. Great for having a few at the beginning or end of the night. Always have a good time. Haven't had the food but it looks good too.

Found place by the smell of garlic bread. Wandered in with my daughter. Cool art all around, place had board games, we played Uno. Food was outstanding!!!!!! Huge shrimp in the pasta, killer garlic bread, Wowzer Waffel fries. Just all around awesomeness 👌. And our waitress Mattie was just as amazing, go just to see her!!!. Definitely on the list to hit up again!

If you are new to Chicago and need a bar to make friends, this is the one. They have great wings, two nights of karaoke and trivia on Tuesdays. The staff is the absolute best and they make sure to remember you when you come back as long as you're respectful. I love this place and happy to say I've built something of a community here. Lastly it's a great spot if you're not drinking as they bartenders are happy to whip up non alcoholic mocktails!

This place USED to have really good wings! I used to order them a lot through DoorDash. The wings USED to be crispy , fresh , and delicious. Ordered wings last night , and they were not fresh or crispy. They tasted like baked wings! Please go back to cooking them the ORIGINAL WAY!

Came here for an early dinner. Service was great, menu diverse, and the food was delicious. Ordered the marinated chicken. It was so tender could cut with fork. We are older so we shared an entree. The waiter split our order, soup, salad, delicious entree, pita bread thick, light and fluffy. Even got cheesecake to share. Plenty of food to share. Prices are reasonable. Can't wait to come back and try the many menu items! A hidden gem!

This place rules. I've been coming here for years. It has a very cozy and casual atmosphere and the servers here are very nice. You not only have access to the otherside bar menu but also access to the menu from the pasta bowl so I call this bar the spaghetti bar haha. If you like wings you gotta get the buffaque wings, they are to die for! Good food, good drinks, and reasonable prices... Few places I've been to in the city can match the quality and price points that this place can offer.

I love this place. The buff-a-cue wings are my go to. The drinks are reasonably priced and it’s a great place to hop in on week night get some wings and unwind with a beer.

The wings, cheese curds, and burger were great! The celery and Blue Moon tasted odd, but it wasn't a big deal at all. We had great service and it was all at a great price.👌

Kinda bro-y and loud for my taste (hazards of going out in public in Lincoln Park), but it has a divey charm and the food is both shockingly good and reasonably priced for the area. The pizza is awesome, especially the garlic buttered mushrooms, the drinks are cheap, and the staff is typically very nice.

Fun place with great service and delicious drinks. We spent a few hours here playing Jenga and Connect4. Our server was very friendly.

Just got off a flight not knowing where to go. Went down town couldn't find anything exciting. Me and my girl decided to just drive until we found something. saw these different bars and restaurants open on this one main strip. This place was packed and it seemed like a good atmosphere. Came in and had one of the best times ever. Great vibes, drinks...pizza was amazing. I couldn't imagine the staff being any better anywhere else. Excellent time. A intimate gold mine.

My favorite neighborhood bar in Lincoln Park. The daily food and drink specials are great, and the staff is insanely nice, which I think comes with the bar being a Minnesota bar in Chicago. They typically have sports and a classic or cult movie on. It's a bar where they'll remember you in the best way.

We stopped here almost every day of our vacation because the otherside bar offers fantastic service, a kickass ambience, awesome music and great drinks! Maddie and Samantha took great care of us and we had such a wonderful time meeting them! The manager Carlos was also very friendly and made a point to get to know us and ensure that our experience was awesome. Y’all are awesome !!

The bar is small but has a nice homey feeling. Unfortunately since it's small there is not a lot of seating for big groups and some TV's were broke to try to watch the game. Half way through the game, they put on the movie 300 which was odd. Even though its a good movie, in my opinion, I would never want to watch a movie in a bar let alone during the game. Music was good new hit music, cheap drinks/specials, tasty and reasonable priced food. If your looking for a casual place to go this is it but don't expect much.

A super friendly neighborhood bar attached to a pasta restaurant. Good weekly specials, friendly staff and a fun atmosphere. You can order all the food from the Pasta Bowl restaurant next door. It's better than their bar menu. They have a lot of special events. We dropped in to watch game 5 of the World Series, and they were having a free pumpkin carving night!

Love this place. Great spot for Wednesdays. They have half price bottles of wine and karaoke at 9pm. It can get a bit rowdy in there but always a good time. All the bartenders are excellent. Great local feel. You can order off the bar menu or the Pasta Bowl menu. I would highly recommend the gnocchi - phenomenal

On the surface, it looks just like any other bar. It can get crowded with your usual dudebro set, but let me tell you: the regulars and the staff? Get cool with them. They're all awesome people.

What a great bar ! They do really cool chalk art on the back walls - and they boast they're a "Minnesota Bar" since they have a Golden Gopher jersey in a glass wall case. I dare you to have anything other than a good time here, especially if Brittany is working. She can even think up a tasty little 'shot' for the extremely picky member in your group. Other than that she's classy, generous, likes your company and it should be said that everybody there is fun as heck :)

Estaba en la ciudad con un par de amigos, había comido en el tazón de pasta varias veces, y un amigo sugirió que terminara nuestro Sunday Funday aquí. Mi reacción inicial fue 'si es la mitad de bueno que el cuenco de pasta, estamos en algo'. La comida aquí es definitivamente tan buena, solo tuvimos bocadillos en el bar, como habíamos comido anteriormente. Teníamos las alas calientes y el pan horneado de queso con salchicha italiana y jalapeño. Las alas tenían mucho sabor y eran picante, mientras que el pan de queso al horno es imprescindible. realmente abundante y bien de precio. Las bebidas también tienen un buen precio teniendo en cuenta el área donde se encuentran. Sin duda volveré en mi próximo viaje a Chicago.

The Other Side is an alternative to some of the other bars in the neighborhood, and its popularity is also one of its weaknesses: it's too crowded, even to enter the establishment. Once inside, it can be quite cozy, and while that can be fun, it is not always conducive to a completely satisfying time. The food has changed, though, and the food has some limited choices, with a sometime fluctuating idea of what it means to be open late. The specials have changed, too, and it would help to have a stable menu that reflects the good bar food the Other SIde offered in 2016. Some of the changes have not been as inspired as others, but given the rate of updates, that may change. The burgers can be good at the Other Side, and the pizza is worth tasting. Some of the appetizers are average, but tasty. It is probably an easier place to negotiate in warmer weather, because of the space. The staff is quite friendly and that makes a difference.

Ella nos presentó a "shot", el Malort más repugnante, pero ella nos convenció de que era una cosa de Chicago y tuvimos que tienen. I love this bar! My first choice every weekend while in Chicago. The dice games are so much fun thanks to Carlos, Brittany is amazing- no one can compare to her bartender skills!! Also, Danny is fantastic on the DJ! Would highly recommend to those that want a great experience with good people and food.

An excellent go-to bar. No matter the time of day, or day of week, you can't go wrong. Regulars hang at the bar, locals head to the tables, and random party groups swoop in for a drink or two before continuing their crawl. The place is lively, but not overbearing. On weekend afternoons, it's just the right kind of chill. Prices are good, service is good, I recommend.

Found this place around the corner from our hostel and decided to give it a try. The food was fantastic, it came quickly and was moderately priced. The beer list is great, a couple local brews and some other craft beer available as well. The atmosphere is fantastic. There is a jukebox, so you can play whatever music you're looking for. There is a selection of board games available as well, so there's always something to do. The service was amazing. Everyone is really friendly, and great to joke around with. This is a great place to get a taste of the local life.

Good food. Nice selection of beers. The only issue I have is they like to put cream on a lot of the pasta dishes.

Relatively small bar. I like that you can get bar food (I'd recommend the wings) or order from The Pasta Bowl next door. It's the staff that really makes this place special though.

This is the best neighborhood bar in Lincoln Park. After trying places around us for years, we have dubbed this one ours for its amazing staff, good vibes, and great food! We are here every week and will be here every week for the rest of our lives. THE WINGS ARE PERFECT.

This place has an excellent server named Moreen who is kind, friendly, and super cool. Tip her good! The wings and pizza are bomb and the beer list is loooong. Prices are great and they have a jukebox.

La amiga holandesa que nos llevó quería ver el espíritu de los de USA: cerveza, música (la mayoría resultó ser la conocida fuera de USA, muy de la década 80), pizza y deportes en tv (había 3 grandes televisores a falta de uno, en un local estrecho pero largo.... Las pizzas son de sabor corriente pero muuuuuuuyyyy grandes: de 2 pizzas entre 4 nos comimos un poco más de media...solo un poco más. Los precios son buenos y la zona es muy agradable...

It was 3:30 PM and the restaurant (Galway Arms) next door did not open until 5:00 PM It looked like a nice little bar and it was. The bar tender was very friendly and they had some real good specials on beer each day of the week. It was Thursday and all craft beers were $5.00.. with a good selection too. .

I recently started going here as my friend lives nearby, it’s her local hang out. I must say, it’s a fun place. Certainly more of a local bar as opposed to a tourist bar. The staff are amazing and always on top of things, the selection of beer is what you’d expect, plentiful, and the food rocks. Especially next door at The Posta Bowl which share the building with the bar. If you are looking for a kick @ss local bar in the LP area, look no further.

This is a great neighborhood spot. Warm atmosphere, and the best bartenders and servers I've experienced in Chicago. I am from PA originally and I wanted to watch a game one night; the manager went out of his way to find the channel and get it on for me (spent 20+ minutes making sure he found it for me and researching it online). The bar specials are fantastic and I've liked everything I've ordered from the Pasta Bowl as well.

Good beer, decent prices, and Buck Hunter. That's a win in my books.

Every Tuesday my friend and I go to a restaurant we've never been to before. If we didn't have a policy that it has to change every week, this would be my new Tuesday place. We were able to get the DELICIOUS burger special, with their house wings(We tried the Mango Habenero, I would probably give a different flavor a shot next time), and a couple beers for $20 bucks between the two of us. Service was friendly. Overall an excellent experience.

This bar is casual, but a great spot to stop in if you are in the area. The pizza is surprisingly delicious and I found myself ordering take out often. They have a collection of board games which can be entertaining on a date night. Who doesn;t love Connect 4 and Guess Who? Overall a nice little spot with great pizza for a casual night out.

When my cousin first took me to this place, I was a little hesitant to go and order food from here since I am not that big on bar food. However, I was really surprised by their pizza. It was simply out of this world. I have ordered their multiple times since then and have got other people to get from there as well. Definitely a must go to!! And reasonably priced!!

I've been coming here since I moved here and since the place opened. Great deals... and great prices. Always friendly service -- they even donated once to my fundraiser by providing an awesome salad. They are the best.
