Our go-to Irish pub! Whenever we’re going out for some fun in downtown Nashua we either start the night or end the night at Peddler’s Daughter. Great selection of beers and several great Irish whiskeys. Guinness certified pert pint. Food is always great (Scotch egg, Poutine and Buffalo chicken wings are our regulars). Atmosphere and service are top notch. Whether you’re looking to have a few beers and snacks, a full meal or one of their beer dinners (I recommend the Guiness one) Peddler’s Daughter is the perfect place.

Tuesday trivia nights are the best! And the Hot Mess smash burger is the bomb. Service 10/10. We love the Peddler's Daughter. 💣

The service was okay, but the food was not. Being an Irish pub, I was hoping for real mash potatoes...not instant. And the chicken was very dry.

First time visitors. The interior is charming and our family was given a room to ourselves. I never got our waitresses name but she was fabulous. The beer selections were great and the food out of this world. I'll definitely be back.

Our first time at this PD. Same original atmosphere, only with a whole lot more natural light. Different chefs obviously, but both locations are great, and truly authentic! I have lived here over 20 years and never came here before. That was a mistake! The fish and chips are amazing and the homemade tartar sauce is incredible. Our waitress was so friendly and we never had to wait for anything as she was right on top of it. The atmosphere makes you feel you’re in an Irish pub right in Boston. Couldn’t asked for a better experience .Thank you so much! Will definitely be back!!

Apps were alright but the chicken tenders tasted like bad fish. I'm not a fan of fish and they should cook there tenders in a different fryer. We made the server aware of the bad taste but she didn't care at all. She was not friendly at all during dinner service and only gave one word answers. This place isn't worth it. There is better places around nashua.

Corn beef and cabbage wasn't good at all. The portion was small, corned beef was over cooked. The cabbage was not cooked enough.

Stopped in for lunch while visiting Nashua for the day and had a great meal. I loved how they made a lot of things in house, the rootbeer was their own and we were given homemade ketchup which was pretty good. Lively atmosphere with lots of fans tuning into the rugby game they had on the screen. I would come back, I love a good irish pub.

Didn't eat, but it's a great place to meet friends

I had a great lunch here. The real star of the show was their leek and potato soup. I think I could live on that. My burger was good but had way too much red onion on it. The tater tots are some of the crispiest and fluffier I’ve ever had.

We were sat by the hostess and were given menus. 2 minutes later a rude waitress came over and with out any tact or decoram said they had another group coming and that we would have to leave. I suggested that they break the orders up and she flatly said we can't serve the group. Will never go back there again as their food is average and their waitresses and host staff lack hospitality.

Good Irish place, enjoyed our time

Terrible service, I layed back for 5 seconds while waiting for my uber and the waitress said I had to get up immediately. My friend accidentally broke a wine glass, we told the waitress directly and she mentioned how she could get hurt as a result and made us feel really bad about it. Would never recommend. I wish I got the waitresses' name she was overweight and had curly brown hair and was EXTREMELY RUDE. I used to be a waitress myself so i was shocked by how she treated us and other customers. Not to mention she also tried to take our drinks before we finished them at 1225am ( this place closes at 1am) and seemed in a rush to get out. This particular waitress had something against us because she wouldn't leave us alone. Borderline it was harassment. The restaurant also seems to comment negatively upon people's reviews, so I can't wait to see what they say about my terrible experience!

Tried to grab a application and the staff was really rude and walked away, pretty much said she didn't have time. Hope in the future u guys fix that. Never going that place ever again I'll give them no stars!!!

Everything about this place is great. Do NOT park in any of the private lots (use public parking only). You will be towed! You will paying $365 to Eastbound Towing!

Loved my Irish Coffee here! The decor was pretty nice and rustic, and we ended up at one of the tables by the river, and so the view outside was pretty neat as well. The food was tasty too - I took their grilled chicken sandwich with BBQ sauce, and sweet potato fries on the side. Overall great vibe, and can't stress enough on the amazing Irish coffee!

I went there to meet up with a friend just before the holidays. We were met with a very pleasant young barmaid. Who had a great sense of humor a was knowledgeable about the menu. We both eat the birds... He eats like a canary.... And I eat like a Vulture.. I ordered the smash burger and my buddy ordered the chicken pot pie. The burger was a unexpected but pleasant surprise. The flavors were delicious and not to mention juicy. My friend was also surprised of the heartiness of the pot pie. Oh .. did I forget to mention that we also ordered the buffalo wings and corn flake chicken tenders. Also great Would definitely be back

Charming little pub! We stopped in for a bite to eat and were not disappointed. The atmosphere was friendly and lively; good drinks, great food, and the service was very attentive. It was a Friday, so fish & chips were in order, served similar to the chippie's in the UK and Ireland, with your choices of vinegar, house ketchup, and tarter sauce; all in a basket lined with newspaper. Good portion size and cooked perfectly. One drink was excellent, the other just average. The dessert portion, surprisingly, was very small. Criticism: Please wash the windows. They were quite dirty. Definitely haven't been cleaned in some time. Knocked 1 star off. Otherwise, this is a great place for a night out. Will definitely return.

11-15_2023 update: Thank you peddlers daughter for a great experience last night. The fish and chips has dramatically improved since my last visit. The Amherst Men's club all ordered the fish and chips and everyone said it was great, much improved. Thanks again Jonathan and team for the friendly service and hospitality. One of our go to downtown spots. They switched the burger menu to smash burgers, and significantly reduced the number of menu items. I think this has increased the food quality. We took our respective families here to meet for the first time on a Thursday night, the music wasn’t too loud and the food was great. My boyfriend’s family from out of state liked the atmosphere of a New England Irish pub. The waitress who has been on staff for a long time was very funny and delivered great service. Other times we have been here the music has been way too loud, even on Sunday morning, and sometime it’s quite cold inside.

Wow. The house made ketchup. Get it on something! I’ll be dreaming of it on their beautifully scraggly crispy breakfast potatoes for a while. Scotch egg came in close second for me. Really enjoyed their Irish coffee and my husband like the Nuttiest Irishman drink. The bread pudding French toast was flavorful but a bit dense, as if it were pressed too much into the egg mixture. Nice servers, fantastic woodwork and decor, would happily return for dinner and drinks later in the evening sometime.

The food was super salty and just average. The only thing we liked was their house ketchup. Servers were nice.

Service was incredibly fast, everything came quick and hot. The clam chowder was as good as I've ever had, and the fish from the fish and chips was so flaky it felt apart on the fork. The chicken milanese was tender and melted in your mouth. The only negative was the music was a little too loud. But this place was full of families and friends having so much fun. Glad we came here.

My first at the place. I enjoyed my steak and I had fries with it. I was eating the ketchup it tasted like sweet pickled Ketchup. My husband had fish and chips and that was good too.

Food was good, service was a bit slow despite being empty but we were not in a rush. the food wasn't bad, it was just unremarkable. I can't even remember what I had, one of our party had the corned beef sandwich and it looked fantastic, plenty of corned beef.

I had a very mixed visit. When I first arrived there was no host/hostest nor was there a sign telling us to seat ourselves, so after a few minutes we just took a seat. It was quiet with very few people in the bar/ restaurant which was nice because we were able to talk. The waitresses were very nice! They were polite and helpful! However, the service was very slow. It took a little while for the food to come out, our appitizer came out after our meals, and for some reason the ketchup came out much, much later despite asking for it a couple of times. I think they were probably under staffed. Overall I wouldn't be opposed in going back, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

Good pub! Went with some colleagues. I'm abstaining from alcohol right now, so it was refreshing having two NA options on the menu. The food was all good. The flavor on food in "the bowl" was spot on, but the fish was somewhat over cooked. I'd order it again, as that's easy to do and the rest of the flavor was great.

We visited 1st time just after lunch rush. Food very fresh. I had the Shepard pie very nice looking tastie rich flavor just like your mother made. My wife had the burger with beautiful hand cut house fries cooked to perfection. Looked so good I had to try, Server Katelyn was on top of her game, owner's should be proud. Atmosphere is what you're looking for an Irish bar.

They advertise dog friendly, but they declined to seat our family with dog. We went to their competition and were seated immediately and spent $237.

Went here for brunch recently, the food was fantastic. Had the breakfast burrito and it was incredibly filling. The homemade ketchup here is also delicious! There was also a beautiful outdoor sitting area alongside the river and I would definitely love to come back on a cooler day to eat on the patio. Friendly service and good bear as well!

The drinks are always amazing, the ketchup is home made and honestly I could eat a gallon of it, and I've never ordered food that I didn't love. Very comfortable atmosphere and I love meeting my friends here to grab a drink and catch up.

High priced mixed drinks, but tasty! Enjoyed the punch. Meals priced okay, portions okay, liked the bar vibe and service. Did not have a Reuben sandwich on the menu, if that's something you like from an irish pub.

Came in alittle before 9pm. Right after a Nashua Silver Knights game. Short drive 3 minute from Holman Stadium to downtown. Was seated immediately. The place was filled with people and music. Live band started at 9:30. Great music! Waitress was awesome! We ordered Fish and Chips. Comes wrapped in newspaper. Guinness and Boston Lager draft. They make their own ketchup and tartar sauce. Amazingly yummy. The fish, the chips were cooked perfectly. The beer cold. Such a large portion, needed a to go box. Definitely recommend. Great bar vibe, music and food!!!

went for lunch today and to be honest worst burger ever, very dry and extremely small. definitely not a smash burger. looked more like a frozen beef patty. wife took 2 bites of hers that's it. also the community ketchup in a mason jar was a huge turn off, don't even now how that can be allowed, very unsanitary. waitress never came to ask if I want to refill on my soda. my alcoholic drink didn't even taste like a head alcohol in it. waitress even notice that my wife did not eat her Burger and didn't ask anything of it. overall worst lunch ever will never be back.

The atmosphere is awesome it's a historic building and you can tell, I recommend having the punch, The food is pretty good too and price right.

Lame door guys very rude and aggressive for no reason my review was a 5 star but I had to change it to a 3 star because I don’t appreciate how I was spoken to

$14 for chicken tenders, got 6 little pieces that were really nuggets and I don't think nuggets=tenders. But the food is very good here across the board, just that the portions for everything are small. I think it really harms it that the portions are so small, $16 chicken sandwich was tiny, I don't want to eat here even if the food is good because it's poor value.

The Peddler's Daughter is a low-key Irish mainstay in Nashua. It's the kind of place where if you grew up in a nearby town you're likely to see a former neighbor or classmate when you visit. The space is large, easy to move around in, and decorated well. Drinks are competent but not a standout, and while the bar has a solid Irish whiskey selection it's also priced high compared to the few regional peers it has such as The Keep in Lowell. The food is good, heavy, stick-to-your-bones fare, and it won't cost you a fortune. The live music and trivia nights are also positive, and during warm weather months it can be nice to sit outside along the side of the building. No real drawbacks to speak of, though it would be great to see them diversify the tap list a bit more and have fewer IPAs.
