Greasy and disgusting! Girl on tha phone was a sweetheart, guy who delivered was a douche! Tha sauce was good the grease was Harding tha bread and was leaking all over!

Top notch. I've worked in a pizza shop for over 5 years. So when I try a new spot. I just order cheese pizza. I had the square thick crust. When I say it was great, I mean it. Best pizza I've had in a Long time. I'm from wheeling, WV. We are know for Dicarlos square pizza. The pizza place was amazing. I wish I lived closer to Parkersburg. The drive is well worth it.

Pizza was re-heated. I ordered a half Silician pizza for pick up. Pizza was obviously reheated again. Crust was crunchy and hard. Several times I have went in to purchase a slice or two for lunch, shortly after they opened, pizza is definitely day old, reheated pizza. They need to tell customers and give them the option of reheated pizza or fresh pizza. Day old pizza needs discounted. Customers should not be paying full price for leftovers. This used to be the best pizza in town now not so much. I won’t be back.

I rarely write reviews but this was one of the worst pizzas and wings I’ve ever had. I ordered a 6 cut Sicilian and it was not fresh by any means. 4 of the slices were from the same pizza and the other 2 slices came from 2 other pizzas. It tasted old and I didn’t even finish a slice. If you like “Buffalo” wings, you’ll be disappointed, there was no sauce on the wings. They tasted plain but had a weird spice to them. The only thing good was the delivery driver and the fountain Pepsi, surprised that wasn’t flat…. I was hoping to like this place especially with the great reviews but was very disappointed.

I mean its really good but i have to refinance my car to afford a whole pizza.

Had 2 gluten free options: gf crust cooked in its own pan (safe for me!!) & cauliflower crust cooked in regular pans (probably not celiac safe). Food was amazing!!! Affordable and quick service. We ate inside and the place has an “old pizza place” vibe. My husband got the calzone (not gf) and was super impressed!!

One of the best pizza's I’ve ever had. Absolutely Fantastic. The delivery guy was enthusiastic and friendly and made me look forward to my order. You can tell they put love in it.

Went to get a pizza and got the wrong one and was charged more for the wrong pizza and when I went back they made the right pizza that a lot more cheaper and didn’t refund me half my money I spent on a pizza that they kept that was the wrong order

The food is great, but one of the servers was very rude to one of my friends.

I live out of state and every time I travel home I make it a point of getting some pizza place pizza! I have eating pies from Northern NJ and NYC and this place is better than any other, in my opinion. Pricey but worth it!

Located conveniently across from PHS High School, The Pizza Place offers a convenient option for locals and visitors alike. However, my recent experience left much to be desired. The parking lot is small and tight, which can be challenging during busy times. Upon entering, my family and I found ourselves in what appeared to be a line, only to be ignored by the staff who seemed preoccupied with their own conversations. Despite patiently waiting, we were never greeted or acknowledged until someone after me took the initiative to step forward with money in hand. Once we finally placed our order, we were informed that our plain cheese pizza would take some time as it was fresh from the oven. After waiting for what felt like an eternity, we noticed others receiving their orders promptly while ours remained unannounced. Frustrated, I approached the counter only to be met with confusion as they claimed to have no record of our order. Despite this, they handed us the pizzas we had requested earlier. Unfortunately, the experience didn't improve upon tasting the pizza. While the flavor was reminiscent of what I remembered, the pizzas were disappointingly mid and cold. Additionally, the lack of customer service was glaring, with the staff appearing too busy and disinterested to attend to patrons. Do, overall, my family and I left The Pizza Place feeling unsatisfied and unlikely to return. Despite the convenience of its location, the subpar service and quality of food make it a regrettable choice. In hindsight, we wish we had followed our instincts and opted for the one in the mall instead.

What happened to the best pizza i used to live in parkersburg Came from Columbus ohio for the Thick pizza. It is not the same not good as it once was something has changed for the bad Disappointed not interested in coming back not worth the money or the drive

I wanted 2 center piece thick cheese pieces of pizza she said she couldn't do that bc it was too hard to do that is the very 1st time I have ever been told I couldn't have the pizza I wanted she did offer to cut off the crust off an edge piece for me but then my pizza would of been even smaller no thanks idk what was so hard about giving me 2 thick center slices of cheese pizza.

This pizza place is minutes from my home and I usually don’t have many issues. Recently, the pizza seems to be getting worse. My friend and I decided to try dine in the other day, bc delivery/pick up hasn’t been great. We got two slices of thick cheese and one slice of thick pepperoni. It came out and was not thick crust and it was so hard we couldn’t even eat it. We asked for new pieces and they gracefully replaced the pizza. We figured it was probably just old pieces that got too over baked during re-heat. When we got the new slices, they too were not thick and the crust was really hard. We were able to eat them but was highly unsatisfied. Someone needs to better quality control. They are famous for their pizza and people don’t mind paying the high prices, but the last four orders have not been worth it!

We love pizza place pizza but their prices are ridiculous especially when it only costs them $1.30 to make a large pizza. They are taxing people especially in Parkersburg and Belpre. You need to lower your prices asap!

Had food delivered. Awesome as always! Salad huge for 1 person! Love this place.

Our service was quick, food was hot & fresh, reasonable prices, clean tables and floors, only negative was atmosphere -it was cold, wish the fire was going because it was a cold evening and we shivered as we ate our pizza. Did not visit restrooms but they are usually clean.

I’m here from NC and I can tell you I am very picky about my food. So I figured I give this place a try. This by far is the best pizza I had here. I’ll order again when I am in town

Employees so involved talking about fat people that I had to repeat my order 3 times. Added a cookie and they didn't give it to me. Came back today with another order and asked for my cookie. Rude blonde millennial felt a full scale investigation was necessary and asked for my receipt. As if cookie thievery is on the rise. Needless to say, I won't be back for a cookie or their pizza. EVER. As if she will care.

They are to expensive honestly one slice of pizza is like 3 and some change but the employees are kind and its usually always clean.

I might be a little biased considering Parkersburg is my hometown but... Pizza Place has the best pizza in the world! Stayed at the Hampton near-by, had delivery. Good value fir the $.We ordered steak and Italian hoagies. Cheese calzone. Steak was really good. Different than we are used to. No complaints on any items.

Amazing pizza , nothing like it

I love their Sicilian pizza! The pepperoni is sometimes a bit too spicy for me but still good. The sausage is shredded to perfection and the cheese is so gooey when hot. The owner sources the food from the best and his mozzarella is the BOMB!

Where do you start? The food is really good. The portioning size for the price is a joke. $12 a sub and you get $3 worth of meat and $10 worth of always hard on the bottom or burnt bun. Brought it to the attention of the rude young lady that always deals with the public and seemed to not car. Also to the attention of the owner/ son of the owner and he asked with a smile, "what was wrong, was it burnt"? No compensation or offered discount on next meal. Seems petty but when 4 people spend almost $60 on subs and sodas it's absolutely an insault. Never go back again.

The food is delicious. It's a great place to take your children. But the price is expensive. But the food is worth it.

Seems like the quality dropped and the price stayed the same I got a thick pizza and it was thin In the thick style. The cheese is also different and not as gooey

Ive been coming here for years now but something changed in January. While food is still very good something is off. The pepperoni rolls have been inconsistent and lacking pepperoni so it's been like eating a breadstick. The pizzas have been light on the sauce and heavy on the cheese so I've been asking for light cheese and still been getting pizzas heavy with cheese. I've considered this place the best pizza around for years and drive 6hrs round trip to eat here when not traveling in area. Ive brought 40ish people here over the years and they agreed on the quality of the food but I've now taken this place off my list of favorites. I will still stop from time to time on my travels down 77 but will no longer recommend this as the best pizza I've eaten.

Easily the best pizza I have ever eaten! The Sicilian style pizza here is amazing. The pepperoni they use really adds to the flavor. It is a great place to eat and a local favorite!

Definitely one of the best pizzas I have had. I went with the 16" thin crust. Toppings were generous, fresh and delicious. Mozzarella garlic knots are very tasty without the spicy sauce and are better with. Highly recommend.

Good pizza - we all know that. Charging 25 cents for a refill a little ridicules. Staff also laughed at my crying baby without realizing the baby was mine. I’ll probably go to the one in the mall next time.

It isn't pretty, it isn't always quick, but, it is always worth it. Slices are what you want.... cheesy, crisp a little greasy and fully epic. Grab one of the best chocolate chip cookies around to round out a legendary, Parkersburg classic meal.

They have New York style and Chicago style pizza to chose from.. It was the first time I have ever been there so I decided to go with New York because I'm someone who prefers NY to chitowns . But I have to say maybe I should have went with Chicago. I can honestly say I would not spend the money they want for a pizza of that quality again.. But good luck..

We love the food from this restaurant but the service abd delivery leave a lot to be desired. It takes roughly an hour for an order and the staff has hung up on me and the delivery guy yelled at me. After I paid $48 bucks for a pizza and a sub. Very disappointed.

First time ever trying this place, husband took me here for dinner. He grew up eating pizza from there. I have to say.....this was one of the best pizza places I have been to. I can see why hubby loves it. If you ever happen to end up in Parkersburg, definitely give this place a try.

I had to wait over 40 minutes for my sandwich at lunchtime so I had to take it with me back to the job and it costed over 18 dollars because I left a tip and thought they had a positive vibe at first and would do a good job....I was just visiting the area and the locals said the place used to be a great place to eat but the original owner has since passed.....I dunno

Ordered food 1 hour and 37 minutes ago. I called the store and they said it has been done for 5-15 minutes and it would go out for delivery in 20 minutes. That is insanely bad business management by the manager on duty at 630pm on Sunday the 26th of June 2022. I will order from the south side store from now on... very rude young lady's working there as well. Be more polite when you want someone's business.

The “Pizza Place “…….. I will say it is hands down the best pizza I have had up and down the east coast and from coast to coast. Been here for a long time and it has never changed ….. the only thing I would change is the name to , “ The Best Pizza Place “

Excellent pizza with the most toppings I’ve ever seen! We bought the thin crust with pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, onions, and mushrooms and there were so many toppings you couldn’t pick the piece up! The crust was fantastic as well!! We also bought one slice of the thick crust pepperoni just to try it, and it was very good also! Would definitely recommend this place if you’re in Parkersburg and wanting pizza!! (Forgot to take a pic of whole pie, but this is what we are taking home… LOOK AT THOSE TOPPINGS!!)

The pizza had been sitting out for who knows how long and they threw some pepperoni on top and put it in the oven. The cheese wouldn't even melt, it was a solid block of hardened grease.

Everything I've tried is great I grew up on it and I've traveled to a lot of places but its by far still my favorite pizza. And if you want a good chocolate chip cookie this is your place. Also introduced my brother and law and his girlfriend from out of town to it and they always grab some everytime theyre in town 10/10 recommend. Also a lot of people don't know they have wings but they're pretty great too!

Love the pizza, grew up with it and been driving back atleast once a month from Columbus Ohio for the take and bake. Can't go wrong with any of the pizza. We do both eat in and takeout.

Pizza Place is a Parkersburg institution. Always a satisfying meal.

Pizza was good. Stay away from the pepperoni roll. I'd rather have covid. 4 hours after eating pepperoni roll started to feel extremely ill. Projectile vomiting and having to use bathroom every 20 minutes. I would not recommend anyone eating here. Not worth the risk of food poisoning.
