Just ok not in great shape. Overrated from what I was told to expect.

Scam alert !!!!!!!!! advertise that it is 18 holes. Nowhere in or on website does it say it is for 9 holes. My son paid his hard earned money via the "deal rate" through GolfNow. Pro shop didn't mention it was 9 holes and wouldn't refund him. Said GolfNow has to. GolfNow won't do a thing. Horrible way to run a business to take advantage of people especially a teenager. Better business bureau complaint coming .

Know how when you roll up to a golf course for the first time, and you are wondering what it'll be like?...And then you see the pristine driving range, and realize it's gonna be a sweet day? That's The Plantation. From the guys that greet you when you get there, to the pro shop people, the starter, and outside services giving your clubs a wash when you are done, this place is top notch. Not to mention the course itself is baller. Tee boxes that look perfect, fairways that reward you for landing there with the best lie imaginable, thanks Paspalum grass, and greens that are receptive, yet putt fast. This place is challenging too, if you haven't played there, there's a good chance you may lose a ball. A fair amount of slopes in most of the fairways leads to some tough approach shots, but like I said, if in the fairway, you have a great lie. No GPS on the carts can be a little tough, but pretty much anyone has an app on their phone. The only down side was I played on a day that was a million degrees, with humidity, but that's not The Plantation's fault. That's the problem with being a golfaholic.

Soup and salad were delicious. Very clean and server was most helpful, especially in quickly clearing dishes.

We had our wedding at this venue at the beginning of December and it was everything we could have asked for and more. The food was great, the service was awesome and Siri made sure our night was unforgettable. Highly recommend this venue to everyone hoping to have an amazing event.

Absolutely beautiful. I went to a wedding there. Everything was phenomenal.

We were invited over for dinner by our friends, who live right around the corner. I don't know if that was by design, but it's a cinch they know from good. The clubhouse has a classy Christmas theme with a sliver, oversize tree in the lobby. We were welcomed into the dining room by a chaming young lady, left to our dining designs. One one table, a massive Cesaer salad and puffy rolls was on display. Further meandering brought us to a hot entree prep area with some six serving cooks mixing and flash frying piles of veggie and meats. Nearby were bowls of pasta, all related to one another. Bow tie, mostacelli and spaghetti were availble to support the heated dishes. Nearby was a gorgeous roast beef waiting to be carved. Along with the generous slab of meat was pungent horseradish and it cousin, a horseradish creme sauce. It wasa a delight for the senses and wonderful way to enjoy a spirited meal amongst happy and feasting diners. Along an interior wall was the dessert table. Generous slabs of cheese cake, a piles fresh cut fruit along with delicious cakes. If you've got an invite, jump. It's a classy place, and an experience you'll relish with those less fortunate at not attending.

Greens and fairway are in great condition. The course is wide open but still challenging. A nice place to hit the white ball.

Course was in great condition considering the rain from Idalia, drained very well. Met two members in the bar after our round who were great to talk to. Water on virtually every hole, many requiring a good drive to get over.

Didn't actually golf here, only went to a luncheon, but the grounds were beautiful! It was peaceful and just well maintained.

I was at the clubhouse restaurant for a luncheon. The venue was beautiful. The room the luncheon I was in had a great view of the gulf course, a beautiful fireplace, and a nice bar. The wait staff was conscientious and pleasant. The food was pretty good, though I was told the mashed potatoes weren't the best. The dessert, a chocolate lava cake, was amazing. Overall, it was a great experience.

The course was in good shape and the design made you consider which clubs to play. It was my first time playing here and I’m looking forward to the next round! Challenging but forgiving in the right spots. The community is also well maintained and I have clients considering a purchase of a home within the neighborhood in the near future. Nice pool area and great amenities too.

Would have gave better rating, but slow play was ridiculous. No ranger and the 4 some in front of us should have played Top Golf. 👎🏻

Excellent food, terrific service, and a beautiful venue. Make sure you step outside in the back to see the view of the cool golf course. You need reservations. Gets busy during events and prime time during season for dinner.

I love this club and course. The staff for food and beverage has always been great and the golf staff is great too. This shows me they have a great culture. I have purchased a membership after going there with a friend for a summer. Highly recommended.

A great experience at this semi-private course. Guests need to be sponsored by a member. Guest Fee in February was $110 and worth it. The course is well kept with green grass and fairways this time of year without overseeding. Staff is very helpful and facilities are very well kept. Food is good and reasonably priced

The course is always in great shape. Definitely a top choice in the area. Staff is friendly.

Nice layout with decent turf. Greens were recently punched and sanded, so really not fair to count the greens against them, hopefully they'll be nice in a few weeks. Friendly staff and a good value.

Excellent golf course in great condition. Nice variety of golf holes. Between May and October it is affordable. Currently around $50.

Beautiful course. Impressive conditions & amenities (great food in the restaurant). However, the foursome of members behind us pushed us continually and called the rangers to reprimand us twice even though we were on pace. We finished 9 holes in 2 hrs and18 holes in less than 4 hrs. These club members should be ashamed of themselves and course mgmt. should defend guests who are playing on pace. Members who harass guests should be reprimanded for depreciating the value of club membership. Who wants to invest in a club membership where your fellow members push their weight around to belittle staff and intimidate guests? The Plantation has a very nice golf course but has a disappointing golf "club". There are too many other country clubs in SWFL that have a nice golf course as well as polite, gracious members. We will not return to The Plantation.

Nice conditions and layout. Seems quite spread out. Certainly wouldn't want to walk it. Nice elec carts. Staff friendly. Country club feel. Pace of play under 4 hrs. Range to warm up before round as well. I will be back.
