Great views, atmosphere and service. The food was pretty good, but didn't stand out. Overall a nice place to go with friends.

Crab artichoke dip, all I have to say!

We went to the restaurant, they ended charging me almost $70 for drinks that weren't supposed to be on my bill then they charged me twice for my food. The service was just horrible. Expensive and very overrated, disgusting.

Really great location and nice rooms, really good food!

Great service, traveled with a large group and was very accommodating to our needs. Opened up just for us for breakfast and lunch on no notice so we could feed 30+ people. Can’t speak highly enough.

One of your best bets for a nice meal in Cordova. Bar is also well stocked.

They were out of a few beers that looked REALLY good, but the good was alright.

A very charming place that overlooks the bay and wharf. The menu isn't quite as extensive as I would have thought. Not that many seafood options for being right in seafood heaven. But the dish we had was wonderful! The seafood curry linguine was large enough that we could split it and the price was pretty good considering we were in a small town in Alaska! The service was warm, friendly, and accommodating and the wine prices were surprisingly low. Not a lot of options for good food in this town but this is definitely a place you can eat and confidently get a good meal.

Rooms were very clean and pleasant. The restaurant was not open when we visited. There was nobody at the desk between 9:00PM and 6:00AM.

I got a room in the old part of the hotel. The room was clean, but not much for amenities. My room had a view of the parking lot, and I heard every truck coming up the hill in the evening. The good news was there wasn't much traffic between 9pm and 7am.

Great place! Great food! Avoid Baja tacos if you can!

Food was out in a timely manner. The crab artichoke dip was the best part of the meal. The 10 Oz. Ribeye was over cooked not properly seasoned with the cajin fries being ok. View of the harbor was nice. Condiment container was dirty.

Halibut and chips and Parmesan crab dip is the way to go… throw in an Alaskan beer and your in for a heavenly combo.

The restaurant overlooks the harbor, awesome view. The decor is charming and the food is delicious. My husband and I both had the rockfish and chips. The french fries here are nice and crispy, my husband likes the Cajun fries as they are a bit spicy. Lots of Alaska beers on tap too.

The Halibut and chips are one of my favorites. I’ve been to Cordova fishing three times now and this is a spot we don’t miss!

This hotel is wonderful. Great staff - clean - modern rooms - comfy comfy beds - and if you can request a bay view AND a balcony - you'll love it. Also - you can just spend all day in the beautiful lobby and deck area. The restaurant is top notch.

Great location and view. The food is delicious. Ramen bowl was spicy. Pot Roast was great comfort food. Fish and chips was great. Nice wait staff. BUT the star of the show was the chocolate chip skillet cookie. We had it both nights that we ate there. SOOO good.

This place is a gem in Cordova. Friendly service, great rooms. We stayed here for 3 days while we had our wedding in Cordova. We dined multiple time at the fisherman. The servers were very attentive and seemed to know everyone. Will definitely stay again when coming back to Cordova.

Dinner wasn't spectacular but was sufficient. The people are what made the place. Nice waitress and fun, helpful bartender, Charity.

The hotel is amazing but restaurant bartender was not very nice and service was really slow. It’s says online they close at 1 am on Sunday we go down for drink at 10:50 and she says their closing and can’t serve us a drink. Like I said love the hotel but bar was a terrible experience

I ordered halibut and chips and I swear they have me rockfish. Other than that, best place in town.

Very nice rooms with great views of the small boat harbor. When maid realized we had food needing refrigeration, she brought us a mini fridg. Food in the restaurant is fantastic and the desserts are to die for!

I recently stayed at the Reluctant Fisherman Inn and it was an amazing experience! Cordova is such a gem of a town and staying at the Reluctant was a no brainer for me and I was not disappointed. The bar and restaurant are really the cherry on top and the view is breathtaking! Thank you Reluctant Staff! I will be back!

I have not ever stayed here but I have a little story to tell - I met a man today who said he was a recently laid off chef for this establishment. He was down in Seattle area cleaning his mothers home as she'd just passed away recently. I just wanted to say that he seemed to be such a charming person and I have no doubt his meals were fantastic before he had to leave - I hope he somehow gets to work again as a chef in the Cordova area as he seemed a very fine man.

I don't think there is a better place to stay in the area. However, I would appreciate some bottled water when I go there again as it feels safer when travelling. I was told it was against the owner's policy to have plastic bottles in their hotel. Some glass bottles would be much appreciated.

The food was out of this world and the staff was superb!

Breakfast was pretty yummy and view was great.

Do not expect much in restaurant. They rely on cute waitresses and tight pants. Food good, but watched mine Bs at bar with bff for 20 minutes waiting for ketchup. Tattoos and tight pants dont impress everyone.

Lovely people lovely place! Sadly I had some people above me that were very loud, and I could smell marijuana. None of that is really the hotel's fault, but dampened my experience. The next day though I discovered that my mini fridge holding my breakfast never worked despite being on the highest level. I was also very cold in my room despite turning the heat up to 75°. I thought for sure I would over come my challenges with a hot shower only to receive about 2 minutes of hot water and then 3 minutes of warm water met with icey cold water... Overall terrible stay but with that said, I had a co worker in the room next to me, whos only complaint was the noise above us. Otherwise his say was delightful.

Ate here again on this years stay in Cordova. Amazing food and good service. King Crab legs again -see photo. Expensive but awesome. Clam and mussels pasta also great. Must eat here.

The hospitality that I received was top notch! They allowed me a late 1pm check out. Then held my bags the the front desk, until it closed at 9pm. Then they allowed me to wait with 5 bags in the bar. Sierra and Shelby were amazing and literally catered to everything I needed while maintaining a customer service that would rival the service's of a large chain hotel. I recommend that you check it out!

Great dinner tonight, calamari and crab artichoke appetizers were fantastic. Service was great. Warm, sunshine and super view of the boat harbor.

We spent the better part of the day relaxing and enjoying our chowder with an amazing view of the harbor in front of the fire. The service is friendly and the food was good.

Hotel room was excellent for the price, the bar/grill attached is excellent quality, well built. The atmosphere was phenomenal. Bar was well stocked. Food was awesome and service was above and beyond expectations. If Jake is working he is awesome and works hard to satisfy. 5/5 stars for service to Jake and 5/5 for price/quality of food to the cook. Loved my experience. Will highly recommend this bar/restaurant to anyone. Thank you Jake for such an awesome experience and for cutting me off alcohol when I asked you too. You are phenomenal and deserve the tips. Thank you again.

Very good appetizers, big portions. Nice selection. Mostly seafood as you would expect. Very well prepared. Our group had the King Crab legs, razor oysters, fish and chips and several other items. All extremely well done. Reasonably priced. Nice service and ambiance. Looking forward to going back soon

Hotel choices are slim in Cordova, but the RFI is great. Everytime I passed the front desk another beautifully cheerful person greeted me. The rooms are large and very comfortable. Hard to say location is great, you are with 8 miles of everything, in this small town. Highly recommend you stay here when in town.

Great good, fun times with my family as I visit from Palm Springs. Met new people and now have my own pilot. Bar was fun, waitress for dinner perfect.

It's a good, clean, comfortable hotel in Cordova with a great restaurant (I had a delicious dinner and full breakfast). Again, the rooms are simple, spacious and the shower was hot with good pressure.

Business brings me to Cordova usually twice a year. I have found that by far The Reluctant Fisherman Restaurant is the place to dine. Overlooking the small boat harbor the restaurant includes a fully stocked bar offering many Alaskan brews, a casual seating area as well as inside and outdoor tables. Breakfast is available from 7-11am, dinner served until 10 pm and the bar remains open even later. A favorite of the locals as well as visitors from all around the world. The wait staff is friendly, menu offers many options and prices are reasonable for the location. The clam chowder is the best I’ve ever had. Do not pass this place up.

Went to this restaurant after a long day of fishing in the rain. Delicious seafood, great menu, fun feel and crowd! I definitely recommend the seafood fajitas.

Clean quiet room! Excellent house keeping staff. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Although the menu is small, the offerings stand up against similar dishes in Seattle at Anthony’s or Salty’s. The clam chowder is THE BEST! Enjoy full views of the harbor and Orca Inlet from the restaurant or outside deck (weather permitting).

Both the service and the food came with high marks. The fresh sea food was excellent; the presentation was superior.

It was tasty, but pricey. I was expecting the Poke Bowl to have a bed of rice. Wasn't that but still was good.

Breakfast was great, dinner was very good. Remember, Cordova is isolated and therefore cost of products is here, so go with that when you see the prices. Food was very good.

Located on the bluff over the harbor, this is the meeting place for fisher folk and cannery workers. Not cheap, it has a lovely deck with a pair of sliders, and probably 10 tables. The restaurant when we were there was a bit overwhelmed and understaffed. But the food was good and the ambiance fantastic. Had the halibut fish and chips, which were average. The Draft beer selection was good for the location.

Excellent view, food and atmosphere! Definitely a must if visiting or living in Cordova! I recommend the "Firecacker" shrimp.

I've been a patron of the Reluctant for years. Last time I was here the service was horribly unacceptable. Took me 2 years to return. I spent several days dining there recently and the service was vastly improved. The first nights dinner started a little slow but turned out very good with service overall being superb. The second night service was perfect. The food was delicious both nights. I'm glad they're doing much better with service. Will be back sooner than 2 years this time. Focus on service, it goes a long way in making dining out enjoyable.

Usually make a point of stopping here at least once each summer when visiting family in town. In the past, I've had the breaded halibut dinner, which was excellent, but this year we just stopped in for desert. Had the "Death by Chocolate," which was more than enough for 2. Cordova is not accessible by road, which males anything you buy here more expensive. That said,the Reluctant Fisherman is a good value for what they have to offer.Strongly recommended.

It was a wonderful place, great view, great food, great people. My only complaint was that the service was a like to slow to my liking but if you don't mind the wait it's an amazing place to go eat and sleep.

I am quite pleased with my recent stay at the Reluctant Fisherman. I had a harbor-view room in a stretch of sunny days, and you just cannot beat the view. Pros: The view. There are (tiny) balconies to look out over the water and spot...
