Great atmosphere Heather the bartender was very welcoming very friendly always had a smile very accommodating very polite to every customer that walked in there made you feel very welcome excellent bartender we'll go back there again I wished I could have seen Beth she was from Shawano so were we we were there on a job hopefully next time we go she would be around... 😊

Stopped here with a dozen people on snowmobiles. After taking food orders for half the group, the waitress informed us they were closing the kitchen and no one else would be served. The attitude and argumentative responses our group received was truly VERY poor customer service. No one was offered any options or apologies. Half our group left to eat elsewhere. The other half commented it was the worst hamburger they've had served with arrogance and disregard. Goes without saying, service is more important than product and these folks don't care to take care of customers. Will never patronize this restaurant again by car, snowmobile, or UTV.

Always one of our stops when riding motorcycles. Nice quiet spot on a beautiful road for an adult beverage.

Walked in as strangers among folks who all knew each other and left having made more friends. Forbes (the hostess, barman, waiter and chef) was on top of his game despite being the only person on duty. I had the obligatory old fashioned (actually two) and an excellent Italian Beef. He even drew a map of the best musky fishing in South Turtle Lake.

Nice little Northwoods bar with good food and a nice atmosphere.

We stopped in on a whim for a cold beer, after being in the area to buy some gas lights we found on the market place. We were greeted with a friendly smile and the delicious aroma of freshly made pizza. We found the place quite busy for a Tuesday night, but that didn't impact the speedy service at all. We decided to kick back and enjoy a burger. My husband had the bacon cheeseburger and I had the mushroom swiss. Both were juicy and cooked to perfection! The only thing we both noted was the bun either needs to be smaller, or the burger needs to be larger! More than 1 piece of bacon would have made the bacon cheeseburger even more scrumptious!! Overall, I would recommend anyone passing thru to take a moment and stop on in!!

The Retreat bar is truly that a retreat! Located in the beautiful landscape of presqisle Wi accompanied by the rustic up north feel of the entire bar and the best owners and staff this will quickly become your favorite place for a beer and a burger! The Italian beef sandwich is a favorite and taco Tuesdays from 4-9.

Never had so many good times and met more new friends than at the retreat! Love you Beth!

Jim and Beth are running it now. They have done a great job with it I've had some superb sandwiches The drinks are consistent The juke box is full AND THEY HAVE A SHUFFEL PUCK BOARD!
