Been going there for over 6 plus months. This place is definitely the best place in orange city. Daili, cuts my hair perfectly every time. If you stop there definitely ask for her or any one in there!

First visit. Wow. Hidden gem. Juan was my barber and his smile was so contagious it made my first visit like finding a hidden treasure. Amazing.

Gean does a great job each time I get a hair cut, always there when I need him. If you want a fade that looks sharp, he’s the guy to get it done.

Great barbershop, nice and professional experience... Erwin has been cutting my two son's hair for years now and does an amazing job, I highly recommend him for your haircuts.

Results vary by who is cutting your hair. FYI I had two walk-ins. First time was great with a dude near the back, but second time was with a woman near the front who couldn't fade properly. It is what it is.

An EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE! I highly recommend utilizing "The Shop" I walked in and was immediately greeted and sat down. I was going from an Afro back to a number 1 on the sides. The young Woman took the time to hear my request and asked questions to ensure I liked the outcome. I am thoroughly pleased with my haircut. I didn't catch the young Womans name. 2nd chair on the left.

Best cut in town, aways had trouble finding the right cut. HIGHLY recommend Ismael, hes extremely profession and tightest cut I've seen!

THE SHOP is my go to for regular Haircuts and shave. I also bring my boys there. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming when you walk in the door. He plays great music and has a nice waiting area. The Barbers behind him are incredibly talented. RJ takes care of my boys. One gets a cut, with RJ taking extra time and skill to cut a silhouette of Spiderman that looks amazing. The other little one has long hair and RJ pulls out the scissors and goes to work. I mention this because not many Barbers can do both. For me, my Man Tejada in the back is the most thorough Barber I've ever been to. He takes the extra time to clean up my neck and ears. And doesn't miss anything. This establishment is clean and they in my opinion are the best around.

Irvin is amazing inside and out. He let my nephew cut his hair obviously pretending but he definitely went above and beyond. Been going to him for years.

I can't believe it has been almost five years that the Shop has been open! I followed Jaime from his previous location when he started his own business, The Shop. My Dad had his own parts store years ago and there are so many valuable lessons to be learned when you are responsible for a business; dealing with workers, customers, and the community around you. I am so proud of how awesome The Shop has turned out to be. I know that Jaime does his best to instill unparalleled customer service in all his barbers. I also know that making an appointment is not a guarantee to start at a precise time; sometimes he can take me a couple minutes early and sometimes he's finishing up with a previous client. Patience, people! This is an art, not science. Not to mention, I get a great haircut from him! Keep up the terrific work, my Brother!

Ive been here 4 times with not 1 complaint. But was recently in and had 2 people ahead of me. Waited the 2 people got seated. 1 barber got done and sat in his chair and started drinking coffee. Never acknowledged me. Guy came in off the street looking for someone that didn't even work there. The barber drinking his coffee got up and took the guy in immediately. Sat there probably 20 minutes and after that I got up and left. I feel like if you don't know the barbers personally you are the odd man out.

Unfortunately, I had an awful experience at ‘The Shop’ in Orange City, FL. To be Exact, the service I received was very unprofessional. The barber had very little customer service skills. While finishing up my son's haircut I noticed his fadeline was still visible. I asked the Barber if he could go over his fadeline once more. He said "No, fix it yourself" then handed me his clippers. While demanding that I pay him, which I had no problem. I told the barber "I didn't think it was that serious and asked him how much?". Then he proceeded to charge me $25.00 which is $5.00 more than the price displayed on the poster. I paid the $25.00 in order to deescalate the situation in front of my Son. He continued to be extremely rude as we exited until I asked "Do we have a problem?" This had to be the most unprofessional and unnecessary experience at a barber shop ever! If you experience this barber's unprofessionalism as well please leave a review.

The people are great and kind. Plus they give really good haircuts

Walked in and waited for over a hour, then I see a family walk in after 45 mins of me waiting, they also had no appointment and was able to go before me. Then for some reason they were taking everyone that came in after me. Horrible service, I felt excluded out the shop and didn’t feel welcomed at all. No one said a word to me, it was as if no one wanted to cut my hair in this place. I wasted a good hour just to be treated as if I don’t exist.

I understand prices are going up, but $25 for a kids cut is ridiculous.

Kevin was my barber and he is the best!!! Not only does he do an amazing job but the professionalism he has and his work ethic make him number one in my book. The atmosphere at the barbershop is relaxed and decor makes you feel welcome. Oh and my man’s stayed late to do my haircut too. Props to him for that. Keep up the great work. Kevin is definitely my barber from now on.

I have been taking my son, who is 10, to The Shop for a couple of years. I have never experienced anything like the professionalism and friendliness like The Shop provides. Jaime, the owner, is an absolute gentleman and always makes sure everyone is taken care of. Angelo is the one who cuts my sons hair and he is an artist at his trade. The atmosphere at The Shop is one like no other. One of my favorite parts about The Shop is, they actually remember who you are and if they know your name, they’ll actually use it to greet you. You can make appointments or walk in. Yes, you may have to wait a bit, but its worth the wait! If you’re looking for somewhere to get your haircut, this is the place. If you’re a walk in who is on a time crunch, just simply ask “how long is the wait?” Don’t sit there and then walk out with out actually talking to someone who works there. These guys and girls will always make sure you’re taken care of.

Pito is an amazing Barber, very professional always pays attention to all details. He’s always Eagered to try innovative techniques which are always top notch. I will always recommend him to my friends and family . If you want a great experience visit his station will not be disappointed.

I just moved from NJ and I was struggling to find a new barber in my new home state. Fortunately a friend of mine suggested The Shop! I have been getting my haircut here for a few months and I am always pleased with the service. My go to guy is Nate, he is a professional friendly barber. Walk in's are welcomed but it would be wise to call to make an appointment since they are always busy. Paola has also cut my hair and she is great at her job and easy to talk to. Thanks y'all!

Ishmael took his time and asked me each time he cut a bit, he asked if I wanted more off or is that good. Told me exactly what he was doing while he was doing it I’ve been around a long time, and for me to say the best….. Take it to the bank. It’s true.

The staff may be experienced barbers but i would not know. I walked in and saw one employee wearing a mask while the other 4 to 5 employees were all maskless and not following safety Covid protocol.

So my barber recently retired and I couldn’t get to another barber I used because of scheduling so I decided to hit up a random shop. Now everyone knows when you go to a new shop you are taking a risk cause some dudes legit don’t know how to do a fade. HOWEVER I was blown away by the service from Jaime and his crew. Charlie ended up giving me my cut and he was awesome and funny. I’d like to say the thing I truly enjoyed about this shop was the atmosphere. This is a place that’s family friendly, relaxed atmosphere, and professional. I’ve been around different shops where music is blaring, you can smell cigarettes from barbers, and unclean work area. Jaime and his crew however are clean, high quality Barbers who understand how the game works. While I’m not always in this area I may consider driving here more often than not to get my cut as they did such a good job and I truly enjoyed being there. If you are looking for a new place to get a hair cut THE SHOP should be top of you’re list.

Greeted as soon as I walked in and since it was a little slower, Nate got me right in and did a great job. I love the way the shops vibe was presented with the copper and vintage chairs. Well done. Best Barbershop I’ve been to in West Volusia. Andre and Angelo have been cutting my hair for months and they never disappoint, and you could tell they care very much about what they do. Barbers are all professional and the prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend this barbershop to anyone looking for a haircut.

Went in there to get my haircut fixed that a different barber messed up on They made a train wreck look like a masterpiece I highly recommend this place

So i have been here a few times and they do great hair cuts. Place is really clean and neat but lack professional ship from owner( Hymie). I last time i was in their was one person in front of me. Lobby was not busy and this was around 11:30am. One gentleman walks in and had appointment. Their was like 4 or 5 barbers in the shop and they all have someone in their set. Another couple walks in and sit down and ask how long the wait is. The owner reply’s about 30 min. About 5 min later he finished up the cut he was doing and then proceeds to text on his phone for a few min(no problem) then looks at me and says this is my appointment one of my other guys will get you. He takes the man back who had walked in with his wife. “The man looked around and said who me Aw ok.” He didn’t even have a appointment cause i asked his wife before i got up and walked out. The owner actually ew the couple cause when the man sat down the owner was like “ man i haven’t seen y’all in a while how y’all been”. I will no longer go back as i feel i pay for a good cut and i alway i mean i alway tip very well to my barber. Just lost a very good customer

The shop is hands down the BEST Barbershop volusia county has to offer! Fades are smooth, edge ups are tight. From children to the elderly, this place has you covered. All the barbers maintain a healthy and clean station and spark genuine conversation while you are in the chair. Don’t waste your time looking anywhere else!

Amazing atmosphere and the shop looks amazing takes you back to the 30s and 40s of barbershops barbers are well groomed and dressed very professional the music they play are for all ages. They have Man barbers but they also have women that are barber/stylist. Very family oriented my wife takes our kids and she feels very comfortable and safe. I also get haircuts and they are always on point

Best barbershop in the Deltona, Orange City area hands down. The owner put in a lot of time for this place to flourish. It is a clean and family oriented environment with some talented and caring barbers. My man Pito always cuts my hair and my 3 yr olds son’s hair on point. My son has functional autism and at times he is hard to deal with but it never phases Pito one bit. He is always patient and the cut is always perfect. If you aren’t going to Pito I’m sure you wont have an issue with any other barber here. All equally as talented and caring as they show my son and I the same love and energy every time we come for a cut. I’m extremely happy I transitioned to this shop and recommend everyone and anyone to try them out. Just come respectfully as you are entering somebody’s business where they cater to families.
