Favorite intimate place to have dinner with family and friends

We drive 50 miles to eat next door but decided to eat here. What a mistake. It took over an hour to get our food, only 2 of us and when we were paying the bill the guy asked how it was and my husband said terrible he offered no reply and no customer service! Offer us a desert to go or a discount because we had to wait forever to get our food. No sense of customer satisfaction at all. The server girl was so slow and moved with no sense of urgency! They could clearly see that we were getting distress because they came to the table and apologize for the wait but the apology offered nothing to our hunger after driving an hour and to top it off I had to drive home in the dark 50 miles. Now the Greek place next door has one little old lady doing the job that 2 of them here do and we have never had a problem next door. That woman could run circles around these two goofs. We won’t be back and I don’t care what kind of excuses you have of your chef being sick, do some customer relations and offer us a discount or a bread stick while we have to wait an hour. As we were leaving there was a couple getting out of their car and I warned them about our experience. A little customer service would go a long way!!

It’s our first time here and I can tell you it did not disappoint!!!! The service was amazing, the food was delicious and I felt like I was in a little restaurant on Mulberry street. We will be back!!! Oh and the ranch dressing is literally the best I’ve ever had in my life.

This hidden gem is the best kept secret on the Mississippi Gulf Coast! Authentic Italian food with a bit of a Greek flair. If you haven't been, you are missing out!

If you get past the strip mall entry with opaque windows, you will enter your childhood friend's house that smelled so good with grandma cooking in the kitchen. We arrived before they opened and waited out front like it was an amusement park ride. We were greeted by Shaniyah with her warm smile and helpful information. I had already decided on my dishes, Leila at H2O pool at Golden Nugget had given me the hot tip for Lasagna. We ordered the sample appetizer platter. Mozzarella sticks, zucchini & calamari. It was fresh hot and gone too fast. Then it was soup & salad. The baked onion soup was phenomenal, the melted cheese crust hid the most delicious onion soup I have had. My main was the over 100 year old lasagna recipe and it was not only fantastic with the right amount of sauce and spices. There was enough to eat two meals. My wife had the Shrimp Alfonso, filled full of shrimp and very flavorful. The hanging chef jacket and memorial to his father was a touching tribute to the art of teaching your passions. I highly recommend this experience! Please slow down and take your time to enjoy all that this awesome eatery has to offer

Greatest Italian restaurant that I have ever experienced. I took a portion of my family that was in town for a reunion, and we were very impressed. The lasagna, only 1 piece left the day we came, we shared it as an appetizer, absolutely delicious. Planning to go back anytime I am in Biloxi. The chef is also very generous with the amount of food he gives out with each dish made. Tried all the desserts, and all were amazing!!!

The food here is amazing! Everyone in our group tried different things from the menu, and everything was delicious. One person in our party got a vegan option, and it was great as well! The seating is a bit limited, but it’s worth it for the quiet atmosphere. Next time, I want to get there early to make sure I can get some of their homemade lasagna before it sells out. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to!

Apparently, whoever owns this establishment does not have any idea how to order ingredients or hire enough staff. We waited for quite a while to learn they weee out of several of their food items. We came here for the gluten free pasta, and they were out. Also ran out of several other sauces, etc. so much for driving an hour to get to this place. Will not make this mistake twice.

Food was amazing! Had the the gluten free pizza. Great restaurant for celiac people. The chef has celiac as well and made sure everything was free from cross contamination!

I found Sicilian II about seven years ago. I have never had a bad experience, and it is my favorite place to dine on the coast. On the latest visit, we had the Shrimp Alphonso, Greek salad, and chocolate mousse, and all were, as usual, outstanding. We love the quaint setting and soothing music in the background. The server and host are welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable not to mention the great chef's ability to create delicious food choices.

5 STARS, phenomenal- Was in the area for vacation, & my family & I stopped here! I got the chicken alfredo, & I even complimented the chef on how it was the best chicken alfredo I’ve ever had. It came with a soup or salad, I chose the soup & got a baked onion soup which I thought I wasn’t going to like but even that was amazing. My grandmaw got the lasagna & a soup of the day which was a soup with mushrooms which she doesn’t like mushrooms & still after she tasted it; she enjoyed it. Everything about this restaurant is 10 stars, authentic!!! Great prices, don’t miss out on this amazing place!

Some of the best pizza I’ve had

Cute little Italian place with atrocious service - they wouldn't even serve our party water or menus until everyone was seated. The "gluten free" cheesesticks (while good) are deep fried with gluten items, so not safe for anyone with Celiacs and it was not disclosed on the menu. My dish never came, as they sold out of gluten free pasta and didn't tell us until just before the soups/salads came out - roughly 45 minutes into our time at the restaurant. I ended up having to leave to find something gluten free to eat and left our celebration dinner entirely. My husband didn't finish his pasta (not gluten free) and was not impressed with the basic meat sauce. The flaming saganki appetizer was not worth it - just a pile of cheese and very hard bread for the table (also not gluten free). Will not come back and would not recommend.

This is the real thing! I spent 4 plus years living in Sicily, and this place surpasses ant on the coast from Pensacola to Louisiana. Puts places like Salute and Stalla to shame. Looks like a hole in the wall kind of place, until you eat there. Reminds me of the small trattoria's that I used to frequent in Sicily.

Don’t be fooled by the exterior. This place is outstanding! Have had a few dishes a pizza and the tiramisu. just be patient with the staff as they’re limited and the food is fresh! But 100% worth the wait.

Authentic Italian! Best on the Mississippi Coast. Eat there often. Highly recommend the French onion soup, split pea is also very good. Love the Mediterranean pasta. Very fresh. Very tasty. I can also recommend the baked ziti; cacciatore; sicilian's favorite pizza; and eggplant or chicken parmesan. Oh, and the lasagna is fantastic!

I love this restaurant so much! They have incredible, delicious food. The service is top notch and the owner/chef clearly takes great pride and care in everything they do. I can’t recommend this place enough if you want a truly authentic meal and experience.

Just wanted to say thank you to The Sicilian for the best birthday dinner!!! Lost count on how many times I've been to this place and it's always a great experience every time I go. My usual go to is the lasagna but wanted to try something different and the chicken Primavera did not disappoint. Every dish I've tried has always been so delicious!!! The staff are excellent and are so welcoming!!! I wish I could rate them at 10 stars because it is well deserved for this restaurant!!! I highly recommend anybody to try this place and all their food is AMAZING!!! Now I am enjoying their cheesecake....THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! The Sicilian 2 is nothing short of exceptional! The service is top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff making us feel right at home. The food is absolutely delicious - we savored every bite of the Chicken Primavera and the Chicken Piccata, accompanied by perfectly fried zucchini and mouthwatering mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. The atmosphere at The Sicilian 2 is cozy and inviting, adding to the overall enjoyment of our meal. To top it all off, we indulged in a heavenly cheesecake that was the perfect conclusion to our dining experience. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough for anyone looking for a taste of authentic Sicilian cuisine. If you haven't been you are definitely missing out.

OK, this may be the worst joke I’ve ever seen a store-bought non-homemade cannoli. They just charge nine dollars for.? The soda which is less than an 8 ounce glass of soda maybe 6 ounces if you’re lucky was three dollars!!! The pizza is absolutely horrible which is 12 inches was $14.99 so I just blew $30 on the worst most overpriced meal in the history of food!!!

We sat down at 6:58. I know this because I was on the phone with my sister as we walked in. 7:33 we got our soup had to ask for bread. Spinach soup was watery and mediocre at best. French onion was decent. At 8:00pm we finally cancelled our order and ask for the check for our soup. One of the absolute worst dining experiences we have ever had.

What a hidden gem! My best friend is gluten free and she’s a little weary to eat out, but we were confident and extremely pleased with our meals!! Service was 10/10 and we loved the quaint atmosphere. We can’t wait to go back!

We came here because it was well reviewed as a local place with great food and plenty of gluten free options. Other than that, we didn't know much about it at all. When we got there, we weren't sure if we were in the right place. Don't let the exterior fool you: while it may not look spectacular on the outside, it is magical & delicious on the inside! My kid ordered the GF Alfredo shrimp pizza, and while I admit that I tried to talk him out of it, I was 100% wrong. This was hands down the best GF pizza I have ever had. It was like a magical circle of gooey, garlicky heaven. It was as if garlic bread had somehow found a way to get even better... And it was gluten free!! (We GF people never get the good stuff!) I had the GF chicken cacciatore, which was also pretty spectacular. Make sure you save room for dessert, because there's also GF chocolate mousse! The wait staff continually went above and beyond. Our server made sure our food was not gluten contaminated, she checked on us at the perfect times, our drinks were always filled, and everyone was kind and polite. The chef has Celiacs, so not only does he know how to make great GF food, I know I can safely eat here without getting glutened. We're just visiting Biloxi briefly, but we might come back just to return to this restaurant!

Fantastic first meal. Three of us tried the mozzarella cheese sticks with marinara sauce, spaghetti with meatballs, chicken Parmesan, stuffed manicotti, and a calzone. For dessert we sampled tiramisu, cheese cake and chocolate mousse. This is the real deal. Food is very high quality, you can taste the love with each bite. Excellent staff, feels like you are home. We will definitely be back for more.

Delicious house special pasta. Tons of gluten free options - even French onion soup! Comfortably casual yet classy, cozy, warm, inviting atmosphere, dim lit with candles and great background music to set the mood. Reasonably priced and excellent quality . Wonderful salads (thank you for not using iceberg!!). The from-scratch chocolate mousse was the best we ever had . The complimentary bread was utterly yummy. Authentic Sicilian family-run, friendly chef and staff who take pride in their establishment and service. We will definitely be back.

One of the best Chicken Alfredos I have had.

The fried zucchini was great, and the French onion soup was delicious, and so was the lasagna. The tiramasu was PHENOMENAL. I'm so glad I grabbed two. I'll absolutely be back. Edit: I went back and it was even better the second time. The Mediterranean Pasta with Shrimp was amazing and I very nearly ordered a large container of their spinach soup. Save yourself some leftovers -- you'll be thankful you did.

Love the atmosphere and the service was awesome. Had the lasagna and my spouse had the chicken Marcela. To get good food, you have to dine in. I have had pizza take out twice. Got the Godfather pizza that has everything and it is supposed to be dripping with cheese but no cheese was on it. So my second time to order pizza I ordered a meat lovers pizza with extra cheese, it had a small amount of cheese. I was disappointed both times. A frozen pizza from Walmart has more cheese than the pizza you get here and has more toppings. Will never order pizza as a take out again. Which is sad because it is close distance to where I live.

Out standing on everything. Customer service worth of 6 stars! The shrimp Alfonso is outstanding! Lasagna sauce is great! SHRIMP Bristol is rich. Pizza is awesome! There are a lot and lots of gluten-free options!!! The whole family has a great time here!

Fantastic and authentic food in a great little place. The food is fresh and the taste is awesome. My wife and I both remarked that you know food is good when you take a bite and instantly smile.

Really not good. Ordered delivery and everything was just not good. My sicilian shrimp literally had 5 pieces of shrimp in it. Their picture shows like 15 pieces of shrimp just on top. So, a whole 5 bites of pasta with an actual piece of shrimp with it. My son's chicken fettuccine was the same way. Hardly any shrimp in it. The appetizer with the 3 mixture of the 3 different appetizer items wasn't good either. The flavor just wasn't there. Never have I before heard my 7 year old say he doesn't like a mozzarella stick. They just didn't taste good and the marinara was pretty flavorless. Lastly, the chocolate cheesecake was a huge letdown because the crust on it tasted like pizza. Gross. Guessing they store the cheesecake next to pizza items and that it had been sitting in there for some time in order for the crust to taste like pizza. Just gross. Not good, waste of money, we wont be eating most of this. I don't recommend.

The service is impeccable and the overall energy of the establishment is a 10/10. The owner is so sweet and takes his time to connect with every individual that walks in. The service is the best I’ve had in years. I would highly recommend coming to this restaurant.

Super friendly staff and excellent food!

My husband and I got the flight and OMG IT WAS AMAZING !!!! We didn’t have to worry about choosing our meals or wine. It is a small place so big groups are probably not the best idea but for small tables, they really rock it out. I love the atmosphere and we will be going back. I think we just found our weekly spot. This restaurant has the best food. Chef Chris has done his Dad proud I'm sure. The Atmosphere is fabulous, so quaint yet inviting and the taste of homemade food at Its finest. Well done. And the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome.

We was completely ignored, the food was terrible, and it took forever for the food or drinks to get out. The servers was very rude not only to us, but also couple with a special needs child, turned them away claiming there was an "hour wait" when several tables were open. We stayed long enough (an hour) to get drinks and an appetizer. The drinks was disgusting and watered down and the food tasted like rubber and freezer burnt. Absolutely DO NOT recommend.

We got as takeaway. Spaghetti Sauce was tasty and not overly spicy. Meatballs were just the right size, but overworked and tough. But why, OH WHY, is an Italian RESTAURANT BREAKING the pasta noodles. We had barely any long enough to do twirl on the fork. These short noodles end up down the front instead of in the mouth.

The food wasn't "bad" as much as it was extremely underwhelming. The quality was equivalent to a standard grocery store frozen meal, but with less flavor. The predominant flavor was the italian seasoning. That was pretty much all I could taste. And it's not like it was overwhelming. I'd say it was an appropriate amount of seasoning... but the rest of the ingredients were so bland and tasteless that yeah, you pretty much only tasted the seasoning. Not sure what other feedback I can give. I was told the food in the Biloxi area was pretty bad, so my expectations were already pretty low. And this is just another place that has still managed to disappoint, despite already expecting it to be bad. I guess in short, in my experience, the chain pizza places do italian better than this.

This is a wonderful little restaurant in an out of the way place. It’s a small restaurant. Either make reservations or get there early. Fresh made salad dressing. Fresh made pizza dough. You can bring your own wine bottle and they will uncork it. This visit, we had the pizza margherita.

Outstanding scratch kitchen, and the chef/ owner is gluten free so he can make many of his dishes GF. My wife is GF, and I highly recommend the shrimp Alphonso, like many restaurants today, staffing is an issue, but I wouldn’t let that stop me from having a delicious meal. I recommend this place.

I love Italian food, and this was not only the worst Italian food I’ve ever had. It was the worst meal I ever had. We started with mozzarella sticks and calamari . The sticks were awful and the calamari was ok ! We had spaghetti and meatballs for the main meal it was awful to start the sauce was very sweet , the meatballs must have been frozen , and the noddles tasted old and rubbery. It was so bad we could not even eat it . Will never go back !

I was told to go try their lasagna. They had been closed for a couple of weeks when I went and it was the first day back. I ordered the lasagna, and to say it was awful was an understatement. The noodles were rubbery, there was no cheese, and it only had a layer of ground beef. It was drowned in sauce, which made me realize why after taking a bite. I tried another bite, but couldn't eat it. They refused to resolve it. They told me thank you for the feedback, that they have been out for awhile, and some of the ingredients may not have been added as usual. I was charged full price and told I should give it another try on another day. I said no thank you. For the price of the food, that was completely unacceptable, especially knowing the food wasn't prepped properly. Never again.

Shrimp Alphonso was unbelievable. Really good margarita pizza and the spaghetti (for my daughter) was top notch. Definitely worth stopping.

Had dinner with some friends Wednesday evening at the Sicilian II. It’s family pizza night and it was delicious. Also got some fried mozzarella sticks the best I’ve ever had. And to top it off chocolate mousse for dessert.

One of my favorite restaurants. It's a shame they aren't open for lunch on Saturdays... I miss them.

We came here for dinner on a weekday evening. The food was wonderful, and everyone liked what they ordered. Expect a long wait on your order, since the food takes a long time to get out to you. Luckily, we did not have anything going on that evening, so our entire party did not mind the long wait. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would recommend this place.

The food was Amazing! Lorraine and Evan were attentive and enjoyable.

It's going to be difficult to top our first experience at The Sicilian II, but we will be back soon!! We were able to obtain a last minute reservation for Valentine's Day and it was one of the very BEST meals we have enjoyed. Our server, Lorraine, was exceptional! She was attentive and made great menu recommendations! Every dish we tried was cooked to perfection and the portions were very generous. The Sicilian II is definitely a hidden gem worth checking out!

Been here twice in three-week period. Chicken pesto once and spaghetti and meatballs the next. Both dishes were very high quality. Never had pesto sauce that thick, and comes with a thin layer of parmesan cheese melted on top.

Absolutely the best Italian restaurant I have been to. Lunch special is delicious. Owner takes great pride in the restaurant.

The food is extremely good, excellent! Their lasagna is the best in town; and, the chocolate musse is to die for.

Small 'strip mall' place that strives to be intimate & feel quaint, is sweet, but lighting is so low it's almost hard on the eyes. But the rich, delicious, truly Sicillian food, service & plentiful plates (almost dare you to not take a 'doggie bag) are well worth the trip. P.s. No liquor or wine - but corkage is available is you BYO.

Nice sever and really good appetizers but the lasagna was pretty mediocre for being a signature item not worth the price

This place is amazing. Very authentic atmosphere. I had the Shrimp Alfonso; it was perfect. In an effort to describe why it was so good the word refreshing keeps coming to my mind. It just tasted like all the ingredients were fresh out of the garden. Lots of shrimp and the mixture/ratio of everything was just perfect. When you go ask for Lorraine. She was very attentive and accommodating without being overbearing. I am very much a "tip based on performance" kind of guy. I tipped her 50% of the check. In addition to all of the above the prices were MUCH lower than I would have expected for the quality and quantity of food. Now that I have discovered this little place I plan to eat there often.

Possibly the worst restaurant I have been to. The service was terrible, the food was slow, after waiting almost two hours and being told our food was being plated several times, we told waitress we were leaving and would pay for our appetizers and salads, someone can out from the kitchen (chef, owner, mgr not sure ) to tell us we would have to pay for the full meal regardless. After a little arguing back and forth we were forced to pay for food we didn’t want. We try to support local whenever possible but this is one of those times we should have gone somewhere else. Believe your first impression when you pull up, it is as bad as it looks. .

We took my 91 year old mom for a valentine lunch and all we had was delicious. The fact that many of the recipes have been passed from family members makes them better than anything you can get anywhere else.

We ordered two large pizzas and two tiramisus. It was a delivery. Pizzas were just big breads. Very average taste. Tiramisus very sour!! I could have throw up. They were not definitely fresh. I don't know how many days ago they made them. They were closed on Sunday and Monday, so we couldn't talk or returned those. We had to leave because our vacation was ended.

First, they are a BYOB. No alcohol served. Second, the mozzarella sticks are pricier and different than other places (lighter batter @ $8). Third, the Hawaiian pizza was not good - little sauce and no flavor. Try other pizza places for a better result.

My family and I have dined here several times and it is one of our favorite restaurants. The staff is friendly and attentive to their guests but they do not hover over you, which we appreciate. The food is amazing! During our meal at the Sicilian II this past Friday evening our daughter said, "The one thing that I love about this place is that it feels like home. It's welcoming, cozy, and the food is made with love." So stop by and take some time to enjoy your food because food made with love deserves to be savored.

The food was fantastic, granted the service was a little slow. The waitress was completely overwhelmed taking care of the whole restaurant. She was absolutely fabulous and I give her 5 stars as well.

We have been coming to The Sicilian II for dinner during Cruisin' the Coast for the past 5 years, and the food and service is always excellent. We thoroughly enjoy dining at The Sicilian II every year and look forward to it.

Nestled in a cozy corner of Mississippi is this wonderful Italian restaurant. The outside may make you reconsider, but take the chance and walk in. We were quickly greeted and seated with drinks to follow. Our waitress took our order and the service didn't stop. Our salad's and appetizers came out quickly as well as the bread sticks. The food was an absolute delight! Everything had been prepared fresh and was full of flavor. You could truly taste the love that went into each dish. Without a doubt this is one of the best Italian restaurants around and a wonderful hidden gem. I am looking forward to our next visit here

Don’t let the outside fool you. It’s a great Italian restaurant and Emily is by far the friendliest and best waitress I have had in a while. Bring your own wine in for 5.00 a bottle and each bottle of beer you bring in is 1.00. The sauce and sausage is homemade and I can’t brag enough about it. Also the fried mozzarella was to die for it’s not battered. It’s a must! We will come back!

I went to this restaurant with two friends after one of them was tipped off by a server at another restaurant. I had driven by this restaurant many times, rcognized it, but never thought about tryinf as it was in a small strip mall. It is not very big and was not crowded at the time (6:30 PM) of our arrival. I made reservations and when we arrived we were immediately escorted to our prepared table. The menu was not large, but had a well-rounded selection. One of the things I liked is there BYOB policy. By taking your own wine, you not only get exatly what you want, you save money as well. The policy is for beer and wine only, not spirits.

Stopped by for some dessert recently, staff was very polite (Evan) and the food is great!

Went for lunch (2 Aug 2022 around 1130). Was promptly seated. From there it went south. The host politely informed us our waitress would be Emily (sp?) and she would be with us shortly. Then we waited .... and waited some more. No waitress, no order taken, no drinks - nothing. Noticed two other tables in the same predicament. After 20 minutes (not kidding) we got up and left for Mr Greeks next door. Shame since we know the family (super friendly), but his staff is literally killing the business....

Our favorite Italian ever. Love the pizza special on Wednesday nights. Chris and the team are amazing. Emily always takes amazing care of us. Feels like family.

Owner was so friendly. Food was great tried the saganaki OMG you have to try it!!! We will be back next time we are in town! We will be telling everyone we know about you!

The absolute BEST!! My husband and I recently had a horrible dining experience at our local Italian restaurant in Laurel MS and were looking for an authentic restaurant that would erase that terrible dining experience from our memories and found it here. The food was out of this world delicious. We loved it so much we took a few more entrees to go!! Our server was fantastic. Courteous and super knowledgeable about everything they had to offer. Spoke with the chef before we left and made sure he knew what an amazing place he has here and we will be back with friends and family as soon as possible. FIVE STARS!!

Coming from Boston born and raised, The Sicilian II is like a little hole in the wall that tastes like HOME! Hands down the BEST Italian in Mississippi. Take my word. Warm, cozy, perfect portions and amazing service. Treated us like family. 10/10

Really good obscure place in a small strip mall. I give them a A for effort and high grades for food. Interior is simple and not fancy. The food is excellent! Server was very good and friendly. Pizza is the best we have found in the area. Chicken parm was very good with a nice mild pomodoro sauce. Chocolate mousse for desert was an exciting delite. I would recommend the Sicilian 2 to anyone.

Food was very good. Homemade 1000 Island dressing was delicious!

MILITARY DISCOUNT: FAMILY OWNED. In a Strip Mall on Pass road DONT LET THAT scare you off. Once inside, this can be a Date night. Romantic Italian music and Ambiance. My first time here even though I have driven by here hundreds of times. Their lunch special is limited. BAKED ZITI. But you get a choice of 5 toppings including Italian sausage, which I had and it had a lot of flavor. No salt needed. $7.99 includes Ziti, Drink and 3 bread sticks. Pretty good deal.
