My services she can’t do job she barely gave us refill and we wait 15 minutes our bill

Are you a club member? If not head down to the Surfcomber in South Beach and enjoy a great breakfast or brunch near the ocean at The Social Club. Really great staff providing great service in a small but quaint corner of the hotel. Ordered some Chicken and Waffles, Avocado Toast and a Surfcomber Breakfast. All tasted great with some nice sauce touches like the Maple Honey for the waffles. Only complaint is not the restaurant but the hefty Valet Parking charge, about $40 for breakfast which I understand it's South Beach but I would have to believe it slows some locals from coming out.

Good music and good. Excellent service. It took a couple minutes to get a worker to ask him for food but besides that it was a cool place to visit DJ had cools songs as well

Had brunch here on several occasions while staying at the surfcomber. Servers were very friendly and attentive, constantly checking up on us. They have a dj on weekends and endless mimosas as well. Overall vibe was great. We had omelets, burgers, calamari, breakfast sandwhich, chicken and waffles. We were satisfied with all of our food and service.

For brunch, we had the crispy potatoes, scrambled eggs, parfait, and finally, Chef Gaston surprised us with the best beignet you'll ever have... and I'm not just saying that because of bottomless mimosas! Dinner: I can't rave enough about our dinner! The photos really say more than I ever could. Lamb carpaccio with a Dijon gelato, out of this world! I didn't even know Dijon gelato was a thing. The lobster and scallop ceviche is a true seafood lovers' dream. The sauce and the cook on the snapper, simply superb... but you have to have the bison short rib. Don't think about it, just get the short rib! Thank you Chef Gaston and team, for making our anniversary the most memorable day and evening of our lives! We'll 100% be back!

Our family, staying at a nearby hotel, had breakfast here on two occasions. We chose to eat inside, which was very inviting. The first morning I had salmon benedict , which I would recommend. Plus the coffee is good and strong.

We came here for bottomless brunch during the week which was such a great deal! Alex (Alexander) was our server and he was amazing! He was so tentative and checked in at the best times. 100000% will come here again!!

my girlfriends and i had alex (alexander) as our waiter & he was absolutely fantastic. he was so personable, funny and attentive, not to mention that the disco fries were absolutely killer

I love this place, I visit once a year and my last visit was Sunday February 4, 2024 for a brunch. The food was amazing and fresh, the service was also great! Since it’s Miami, there was a dj blasting music which was fun! I highly recommend for anyone!

I ate here 3 times b/c I stayed at the Kimpton next door. It’s amazing. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The ocean drive omelette was excellent as were the kraken and empanadas (must try). I’m sure the rest of the menu is top quality. U can tell the employees here care too.

The food was average, the green juice was good just warm. Our server wasn’t very attentive. In fact we saw him twice, to take the order and to cash us out. Would not return.

Went there for a solo brunch. Staff were friendly. My server was Leo, he was very attentive and super nice. I ordered pancakes with home fries and vanilla latte. The donuts (they’re not called that I just can’t remember the name but I think it starts with a “B”) were complimentary from the head chef as an early birthday treat. I enjoyed all which I ordered. Would recommend and eat again.

When we went to The Social Club, no one was there. I think they need to change their name. The food wasn’t bad but nothing to go back for.

I ordered steak & eggs and a cappuccino. Never got the cappuccino even after asking twice, but they did put it on the bill. They add 20% gratuity, which is excessive. At most, it should be 10% with option to tip if service is better than expected. Food was tasty, but severely over prices and using lower cost skirt steak rather that sirloin. 2 eggs, 4-6 oz skirt steak and diced potatoes + water = $50.12.

It exceeds expectations in the hotel breakfast department. Overpriced? Yes. But also very delicious and almost worth the money, especially since you are already on vacation? 1000 times yes!

I asked the host for directions to the restroom. Another employee offered to show me the way. This employee also used the restroom and I did not hear him wash his hands when he left.

Great food and service. Quick. Staff is great. Patio area is nice and cozy. Brunch menu! Less crowded on week days which is great to relax.

The food was remarkable, and our server (Marlon) was absolutely fantastic. I honestly chose this place based on the bottomless mimosas, but it turns out the food was the real highlight.

Marlon was an amazing server. I was hating my vacation, but he turned my frown upside-down. My eggs were prefect. Bottomless mimosas were divine. Great coffee.

Went for dinner, had the truffle short rib, and loved it. Great flavor and the meat was soft and tender. The chocolate mousse was a delicious dessert to end the night with as well. Staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were enjoying our time. Truly recommend and I would come back for the rib, no doubt!

This is a good place to have brunch on a Sunday morning, the staff are very friendly, the service is impeccable and the manager sent us a plate of fresh fruit as a courtesy. The mimosas were refreshing, the French omelet was clean and moist. I will definitely add this place to my list next time I return to South Beach.

Quaint lounge with comfy seating. Minimal menu selections that are overpriced but tasty. We weren't impressed or pleased with our watery drinks. The manager was very nice. Parking cost $40 and that was discounted. Looks like nice boutique hotel though.

Amazing experience. Great service from the second that we walked in. Leo, was our server and we loved his energy and work ethic. Bottomless Mimosas are worth it. We hope to be back soon.

I visited The Social Club restaurant which is connected to Kimpton Surfcomber 2 nights out of my stay . My bartender from the 2nd night was great . I explained to her that I was here on a mini vacation for my birthday . She made me 2 lychee martinis which I had never had but found them delicious . Just the right amount of sweet and tangy . Also a lemon drop shot to celebrate my last year in my 30’s . She didn’t hesitate to on answering any questions whether they were from Miami living or things to do since it was my final stay. She recommended Sweet Liberty which I’ll have to try on my next stay . Overall her attitude customer service and bar swag was just what I needed to end my stay . She handled me and the other 2 patrons at the bar very well and even chatted with me as I was the last to leave never rushing me from my seat . Did I mention this was her first evening shift and she did it perfectly. If you’re ever in Miami stop past The Social Club ask for Jane and have a good time

Jane and Justin were AMAZINGG. Great hosts and very attentive the whole day. Definitely going to be recommending not just to my friends, but to my family in the area as well. All love🤝🏾🫶🏾. (The cousins)

We had breakfast here each morning as it was part of our hotel. It is under renovation so the menu was very limited but the food we could get was really delicious and fresh.

Underwhelming from the outside but pretty cute on the inside. Food was tasty however the service wasn’t the best, I feel like whenever gratuity is added already they don’t do as well of a job. Mimosa was bomb.

Came here on a whim after striking out at a few other brunch options on Collins. We really just wanted a good meal to remedy the night before and get us through the day. We were seated immediately on the patio which was great. Inside it looked like there was possibly some water damage so there were plastic sheets draped all over. Outside seemed like the place to be! Both of us just ordered the Surfcomber with orange juice and lemonade. It was very tasty. The price was fair compared to so many other comparable places in SB. Absolutely no complaints. We got exactly what we needed here - no more, no less. If you just want a quality meal in a nice settling, this will do the trick. If you’re looking for something flashy and impressive, I’d look elsewhere.

Expensive, but that’s expected. I had wine and the short rib entree with tiramisu for dessert. Everything was perfect and the staff was excellent.

I wish I had taken a picture of the food we ordered, I can't imagine anyone enjoying it. For the price, I would have expected something great, what we got was terrible. I got a breakfast sandwich, which came on bread that was something like 2" thick and extremely greasy and crumbly. It was impossible to eat, and I love big sandwiches. It made a mess, completely fell apart. It's hard to screw up a breakfast sandwich, so hats off to whoever came up with that abomination. I thought my girlfriend was going to hate me for complaining about the ludicrously expensive breakfast, but then she tried her food. Her avocado toast was on bread that was so thin it may as well have been shaved. The whole thing ended up as a big soggy mess that she had to eat with a fork. She hated it, just as much as I hated mine. There is a ton of great food in Miami, don't waste your money here.

If you are looking for good food in Miami South Beach then look no further. The Social Club is expensive (but we Brits think everything in US is VERY expensive just now) but the quality of the food and service are both tip top. We shared the shrimp starter which was to die for, my wife had the braised short rib for her entree and I had the fillet mignon, all washed down by a lovely glass of Malbec each. The braised beef was melt in the mouth! The severs, all of them without exception, were excellent. Very personable, friendly and attentive. We will return..

The fancy French toast was the best I’ve ever had, so crispy! And our server Alex was so helpful helping us decide on everything. Definitely the best brunch spot!

Awesome atmosphere, food and service.

The was nice but the waitress was so rude, I went twice for breakfast since I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, the first time she told me who told you to sit down, (in a very harsh tone I told her the other waitress, she said not it my job!!! The second day I ask something regarding the bill, she became very frustrated, and she told me go talk to the lobby or to the manager, and she left me without letting me finishing, and actually I went to the lobby and she literally gave the bill to the lobby manager and said something very rude.

Sunday found me at The Social Club to celebrate a friend’s Born Day. The mini donuts I ordered for dessert were the highlight. My rum sangria, ostensibly with Bacardi Gold, was also well blended and with a nice amount of booze. The reason for the downvote was my order of short rib egg Benedict. I was debating between this and the chicken & waffles, and went with our waiter's recommendation. I left most of it, as the short rib was really greasy both in flavor and texture. Heck, even visually as a friend on the other side of the table said it looked greasy. The egg and hollandaise could have been a little runnier as well. As it were, even in the donuts there was a service mishap. I ordered a dozen but at first they only brought out 6. If I hadn’t caught I’m going to guess I might have been charged for the other 6 I wouldn’t have gotten to eat. Because of these mishaps and just adequate service, I was not inspired to leave extra gratuity beyond the 20 percent mandatory one.

It was very good I loved the huevos rancheros it’s very filling the fruit bowl nice and fresh and the French toast amazing indoor or outdoors the ambiance feels great

Very good food and friendly service. Good outside dining terrace. Food was excellent - delicious octopus and shrimp dishes. Good wines by the glass. Aurora provided friendly and fun service. Really terrific place for dinner.

This spot was a recommendation while visiting Miami. Pretty good breakfast spot. Waffles were nice and crispy, fruit was fresh. I really enjoyed the skillet breakfast potatoes. For the chicken and waffles I would have preferred wings but it was still good. The French toast was ok wasn't very crispy, could have been cook a little longer. Would definitely go back next time in Miami.

Very good breakfast/brunch menu. It’s a little weird to have sports on TV but dance music coming through the speakers. It would make more sense to have just one theme. Food portions, and value were good. Quality was a little inconsistent from day to day (compared same menus item). I would go here even if it wasn’t tied to the Kimpton.

I seen high ratings on reviews of this place so decided to give it a shot. It did not disappoint at all. Got the cafe con leche to start off the morning it was well balanced not too sweet or too strong. After a long time of deciding which item I wanted to try on the menu I wound up getting the French toast with a side of scrambled eggs and cheese . All delicious and I left nothing but full and satisfied . Highly recommend

The breakfast was awesome! I sat here drinking coffee and reading a book. The staff was very welcoming. They did not rush me or remove me quickly. I even had coffee outside at 10pm without issue or hassle.

Acai bowl wasn't like the ones you get in Brazil. It was still refreshing and I would go there again given the chance.

I’m a big fan of boozy brunches while on vacation, which you can probably tell from my past reviews. LOL. When I pay $35 for the bottomless mimosas I think, well, I expect a bit more. I know this is South Beach but it’s not facing the water or anything. There is a cool DJ inside but I’m outside. For for the price I had a full breakfast buffet, bottomless mimosas (and 3 other options) AND a mariachi band in Fort Lauderdale and that was $60 a person total and in Orlando they had a “bottomless” mimosa but it was $20 per bottle with all the juices and this one is $35 with 2 juices. (But there were 2 of us so we got 4 juices). The food was good. The breakfast potatoes, I swear, were the best I’ve ever had. I had Chicken and Waffles. The waffles were good but I prefer my chicken to be boneless and it was a tad dry. Also I want my syrup on the side in a small container. I hate it when it goes on the plate and soaks into everything so I had to ask for a side container for my syrup. My husband had the Havana Cakes. They were good but not spectacular. Our server Alex was fantastic even though I asked for ice in a cup (it’s 90 degrees outside and I’d like a few ice cubes in my mimosas, thank you very much) and the container for my syrup and then more ice 😂 ‘cause it’s hot in South Beach y’all! All in all, a good experience. Just maybe about $5- $10 more per person than I think it should have been. 🤷🏻‍♀️ (But I’m not mad about it.)

Leo was amazing, he’s the DEFINITION of hospitality in a server, ask for him when you get here, makes you feel great! Huevos rancheros was great just as he described. Will come again.

Enjoyed the experience, despite it being very expensive (by UK standards). Eggs Benedict with breakfast potatoes all tasted delicious. Poached eggs were a little overcooked, but the waitress was keen to make things better for us and offered some very tasty donuts on the house, which really did the trick.

The chicken and waffles was delicious and the bottomless mimosas are actually bottomless! And those are the only reasons why they're getting 3 stars from me. The service was awful. This is one of those places that automatically adds a 20% "service charge" even if it's just 2 people dining, and therefore the waitstaff, as well as the hostess, don't bother with giving anything even close to good customer service. I won't be back and I definitely won't be recommending this place to friends and family.

We ate here for breakfast twice. The prices were reasonable compared to other places. I had the veggie omelet. It was very good, came with potatoes and toast. Also had the eggs Benedict. Super large portions. And a good spot to people watch!

Our family of 4 had breakfast at the social club 4 days in a row during our stay at the Kimpton Surfcomber Miami Beach. We tried most of the items on the menu and it was all delicious and amazing. The service was fantastic. A shout out to Alex, Sam and mostly to Leo who looked after us twice. Thank you. We highly recommend The Social Club. You will not be disappointed.

This is a great spot! Wasn’t a huge fan of what i had to eat! I had chicken and waffles. I wasn’t a fan of the chicken. It looked fried but taste baked. Loved the waffles and home-styled fries! Def get you bottomless mimosa! If your in town definitely stop by!

We’re on vacation and we went here yesterday no problem great service and food, today we go again for breakfast and they sit us down give us water then just let us sitting for 30 minutes no hello no the server will be right with you. They made eye contact with us and walked away. We just walked away shouldn’t have to beg for a server to assist you.

The food and service were good. I had the Surfcomber breakfast. This is nice spot to try if you're in Miami and it's in walking distance to the beach.
